A Friendly Game of Hide-and-Seek

Today was... unique. Instead of attending a class, as Sirin usually would, she found herself strolling peacefully in the outdoor club area with her ferret, Elysia. In her hand, she held a warm mug of Pumpkin spice latte.
"That time of year thou mayst in me behold
When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang
Upon those boughs which shake against the cold,
Bare ruined choirs, where late the sweet birds sang …"
Sirin whispered the poem under her breath. She'd been reading quite a bit of the poetry book her father had given to her before Hogwarts--at that time, Sirin had wondered when she would even have the time to read it but it turned out she had plenty. Growing up, her father had always been a literature fanatic and it was no surprise at all that his daughter would turn out the same. Even Sirin's mother was fond of Chinese poems.
Fall had already made her grand entrance--she set the trees ablaze and blessed the land with sun-kissed leaves. Sirin admired the new colors of the trees.
A single leaf floated gently in the wind, and Sirin caught it in her palm. It had a golden, sun-kissed tip and a vibrant red body. There was not a single scratch; it was perfect. Sirin tucked it carefully in her book bag---to keep it as a memory of autumn, before the season faded and winter arrived.
Sirin carefully chose a large oak tree with a strong trunk and a full head of "hair." She set down Elysia, who immediately started to prance around the tree and bat at the falling autumn leaves. As Elysia danced joyfully in the fire of autumn, Sirin began to set up what she'd brought. What exactly was she setting up?
Before leaving the common room, Sirin had delicately hand-crafted a post using the stationary she'd gotten. On it, she wrote in large bubble letters,
"Come play hide-and-seek!"
Sirin wasn't quite sure if she was permitted to organize such events but it certainly wouldn't qualify as a "big" event and she simply wanted to get to know other students and make new friends. Surely nobody would mind? She'd already invited a couple of people she'd already known fairly well--like Kim. They'd met on the Hogwarts express and reunited during Opeila's fainting dilemma (definitely not a pleasant experience) but they were acquainted and Sirin had a friendly relationship with him nonetheless.
As she situated herself in place and scooped up Elysia, she scanned the area for anyone she knew.

A Friendly Game of Hide-and-Seek
It was during the lunch break of that nice and sunny autumn day. The autumn was shiny and warm, but not too hot as those boiling summer days. The sky was crystal blue with white clouds drifting freely on it. The autumn leaves had also turned into a variety of colors and begun to fall down, making the scenery around campus stunning. Rita had finished her lessons for the morning, and considering the weather was quite nice, she decided to take a stroll outdoors to release her stress and enjoy the beautiful autumn scenery under the warm sun.
When Rita arrived at the outdoor club area, she first saw a big poster with "Come play hide and seek!" written on it. She was a big curious of what was going on, so she walked closer to the poster, and saw Sirin, the beautiful girl with purple hair she knew from Bailey`s cat party and the Tea Drinkers Club meeting organized by Sirin herself, standing next to a big oak tree with her lovely ferret Elysia messing up the falling autumn leaves. Rita waved to Sirin, "Hi, Sirin! Hi, lovely Elysia! How are you feeling today? Are you hoping for someone to play hide and seek with? Maybe we can play the game together!" Rita smiled to Sirin and waited to see whether Sirin would agree to play hide and seek with her.

A Friendly Game of Hide-and-Seek
@Kim SatoBailey saw a sign for hide and seek, and of course she had to go!
Changing into some leggings, a shirt and a navy Ravenclaw sweater, she put in her Ravenclaw running shoes and grabbed her water bottle and wand, and put them in her bag with a note book, flashlight and some random things like some hair ties and a cookie in a bag.
Walking down to the grounds, it was about noon. Bailey grabbed a grilled cheese from the great hall and a thermos of tomato soup- the food was always soo good and these were some of her favorites.
Her hair whipping around her, her beanie on her head, Bailey shivered as a breeze tickled her face.
Bailey saw Rita and Sirin, and figured that was where the hide and seek was being organized. She knew Kim would probably come too- they both went to everything, but rarely went together.
“Hey guys! How are you doing? Is this the hide and seek I saw a poster for? Is it ok if I join?”
Bailey asked, hoping she could.
Sitting down, Bailey started on her lunch.
Dipping her sandwich in the tomato soup, Bailey sighed with contentment.
Smiling st the girls, she asked “How are you settling into school? It’s been about a month since we started, are you getting the hang of the castle? I know it can be quite disorienting at times, I still get lost occasionally.”

A Friendly Game of Hide-and-Seek
I was outside, and the weather was nice, so why not go outside? Actually, a lot of people would say that it was particularly chilly and windy, but that's one of the reasons why Autumn has come to be my favorite season. I get to wear sweaters! I grabbed my favorite light pink and blue one, put my hair up into a ponytail and ran outside. I now knew where to go outside, which brought me one step closer to navigating Hogwarts. Though I still might have to create a map. While outside, I saw three girls: Sirin, Rita, and an older Ravenclaw. That's when I saw the sign. Hide and Seek?! Oh my goodness, yes, you must join, Ro, said that tiny voice in my brain that keeps popping up. I absolutely loved hide and seek. In muggle school, I played that game with other kids all the time. And because I was so small, enabling me to hide virtually anywhere(a bit of an exaggeration), I(mostly)won a lot of games...when I was hiding. I wasn't so good at seeking, though. I walked up to the girls and said, "Hi guys! I noticed that you're playing hide and seek, is it alright if I joined?"

ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | It was Monday. Not the time when Kim was expecting to do anything other than have lunch and go back to finish up classes. But today was different. Sirin had sent him an owl and asked him to come participate in a game of hers that she'd set up for people. A game of hide-and-seek. Kim couldn't help but be quite interested in this. Not because he liked the game but because this was the first time Sirin had contacted him about a game and one that she herself had set up too. Therefore, he decided to make this a priority for him. To check things out. If he had a lot of fun, he'd stay until the end, if not he'd leave when his next class was supposed to start later. Kim had gone out without Puffie for once. After all, he'd been attending class and Puffie didn't like going to class with him. Mostly because Kim didn't pay enough attention to him. So, Kim always stopped by the dorms to pick him up before going to lunch. But this time, he was heading off to Sirin's hide-and-seek game. Hopefully, Puffie wouldn't get too mad at him for being late. Kim had brought a container of food from the great hall with him to munch on, just in case he couldn't get to lunch in time. Inside were a lot of mini meat pies, sausage and boiled potato skewers, fruit tarts and apple fritters for dessert. All were delicious. They also were easy to eat on the go. Kim intended on sharing them with everyone else if they were hungry. Kim's enchanted satchel was slung over his shoulder, the strap coming in use. Inside were his books, equipment and necessary items for classes. There was also an array of chocolate frogs, other types of sweets, his sketchbook, parchment paper, a quill, an inkwell, a wizard camera, tissues and an allergy potion. One of these days he might get an enchanted backpack too. It might be easier to carry and free his hands and body at the same time. "Yo." He said, raising a hand into the air, as he gave his trademark greeting to those gathered. The area was a rather large oak tree. Quite a nice tree. He saw Sirin instantly and also noted that Rita was there too. Of course, Bailey was present, but Kim had expected to see her there. She was everywhere he went to. Naturally, seeing her there wasn't surprising to him at all, in fact he'd have been surprised if she hadn't been there. A faint smile came to his lips as he made eye contact with her for a brief millisecond. It was around this time that a new girl came, almost at the same time as him. He didn't recognize this one though, she must have been a first year. Kim came a little bit closer to their group. Thankfully it was small. Hopefully it would remain that way for awhile. Kim liked and preferred small gatherings over large ones. Upon reaching his destination, Kim stooped and placed his container down onto the ground, beneath the oak tree. But it seemed a little unstable with the grass, dirt and other things. Reaching into his satchel he produced a picnic blanket, something he'd obtained after seeing Bailey all the time with one. It was a light pastel blue color and he spread it out on the ground beneath the oak tree. Placing the container on top he nodded. "For those of you who didn't get a chance to eat yet, I brought some mini meat pies, sausage and boiled potato skewers." "There's also some fruit tarts and apple fritters for dessert." He told them. Kim settled down onto the blanket and grabbed some food for himself because he was pretty hungry. ────────────────────── ㅤ ㅤ──────────────────────

It didn't take long for people to start arriving. It seemed her poster was efficient--very efficient, in fact, at attracting people. The first to arrive was @Rita Su, a Hufflepuff girl that Sirin had gotten to know on multiple occasions. The girl was always open and friendly--Sirin felt comfortable with her. The next to arrive was (not surprising) miss Bailey glade herself. Bailey was that open, welcoming, and friendly individual who was not afraid to approach anyone--and that was a fact. Sometimes Sirin wished she could be like Bailey--and saw her as an older sister.
Then came Aurora, a Hufflepuff Sirin hadn't quite gotten to know yet--an opportunity.
"Hey Rita! So nice to see you! And Bailey! AND Aurora! So many people... I didn't think I'd attract this much attention."
Of course, wherever Bailey went, Kim was soon to follow (and vice versa). It was no surprise that the Gryffindor boy would appear in the distance, waving at the group. At the sight of so many new friends, Elysia squealed with joy and immediately attached herself to Bailey. It was a common habit--Elysia would start forming a bond with someone by latching on to them or curling in their lap in a fetal position. Elysia reminded Sirin of Bailey, in a sense. Both were warm and friendly. The only real difference was one was a ferret and the other a human.
"I see we have quite a few players! We'll start in a moment when more people join in. I owled Kayal earlier in the day, hopefully, she'll drop by when she's got the time."
Sirin unpacked the rest of the treats she'd brought, and Elysia whipped her head around in interest. Finally, Sirin unveiled the true prize--a fruitcake baked by her.
"Winner gets the fruitcake!"

Hannah was walking by the outdoors, she liked it. She had walked freely. She heard some people over to the left. This was her opportunity to make more friends, she could not ruin it. She knew she was nervous, but why? She was always confident in herself. She took a big breath."Hello?" She mumbled. She walked a bit closer to the people, she recognized one of them, of course, Bailey Glade, she had blondish hair and what looked like blue eyes. Although she did not have a proper acquaintance, the girl knew her from a far. She saw some other people who she did not know yet, but they seemed friendly. Everyone was talking, so they did not seem hear Hannah. She walked a little bit closer to all those people, "Yikes!" she thought "I've never been in a location with this many people!" she thought to herself. Now she was very nervous, she took a big breath again. "Excuse me?" she asked. "I heard that some people were playing hide and seek. May I join the game?" She realised she had not introduced herself properly. "Oh, my apologies, I'm sorry. My name is Hannah Blossom, I'm a first year, Gryffindor. I don't think you've heard about me." "So... can I join the game?" she asked.

@Kim Sato @Sirin Lu @Rita Su @ Aurora Griffith @Hannah BlossomSirin welcomed Bailey and the other girls warmly. It was nice to see the younger Ravenclaw, she seemed to be settling in nicely.
Munching on her tomato soup and grilled cheese, Bailey smiled when Elysia, Sirin’s ferrit, squealed with joy and ran over to her, attaching herself to Bailey.
Bailey grinned again when her best friend, Kim, showed up. She fully expected to see him, and would have been more surprised if he had not showed up. Bailey was sure he thought the same about her, they both seemed to be in every club and at very social event.
A faint smile passed over Kim’s lips when he made the briefest eye contact with her. She grinned back at him, happy he had come.
He had brought food, and Bailey was excited about it, though unsurprised. “Those sound great! I’m definitely going to try some.”
Bailey reached over and took some mini meat pies, sausage and boiled potato skewers. She was also excited for desert he had brought.
When Sirin said that the prize was as fruit cake, Bailey brightened. “You made that? That’s awesome!! A truly amazing prize!”
Bailey smiled when Hannah showed up and introduced herself. She decided to let Sirin do the talking, since this was her event.

Rita was just sitting on the ground at the Outdoor Club Area, hoping for the game to start when a few more people arrived at the Outdoor Club Area to join the game. Rita knew some of them, namely Kim, Aurora, and Bailey, but she did not know that girl with brown hair wearing Gryffindor clothes who introduced herself at Hannah. Rita waved to the group of students with a smile, "Hi, Kim, Bailey, Aurora, and Hannah! My name is Rita, Rita Su, a Second-Year Hufflepuff. The purple haired girl is Sirin, and she organized the game. The orange-haired boy is Kim, the red-haired small girl is Aurora, and the white-haired older girl is Bailey."
After that, Rita heard Sirin announced that the prize for the winner is a fruitcake. "Great! I love fruitcakes, they taste delicious! Thank you for organizing the game, Sirin! By the way, sorry, I did all the talking for you, Sirin. And when will the game start? I think we have enough people now. I cannot wait to play!" Rita smiled at Sirin and waited for her to respond. She cannot wait for the hide and seek game to start., but right now, she just sat on the ground and wait for Sirin to start the game.

A Friendly Game of Hide-and-Seek
Kayla was walking around the school, running at random times and skipping, and her books in her bag jumped along to her happy rhythm as she walked. She continued to skip and twirl through the hall until she saw a sign-
" 'Come play hide and seek,' " Kayla read outloud. Hide and seek, eh? Kayla loved a good game! But she wasn't too sure, she had a transfiguration essay to finish. But she didn't like homework, much. Kayla eyed the poster again thinking. She felt herself smiling.
"Hey Sirin! How you doing? Kayla called over to the girl resting against a tree, unpacking stuff. "Hello!" kayla said to the ferret, rubbing it's furry head. She turned her attention to the other peoole and wad stunned,but pleaded by the amount of people there. She recognized very few. "Hey, Riri, hey Kim, hi Bailey! How're you guys doing? Its such a nice day, today." She looked at the two she didn't recognize. "Hello! I'm Kayla, first year, Hufflepuff. Im gonna assume you two are here to play hide and seek?" she asked the two. By the way, Sirin, hide and seek?" she added to Sirin grinning. She nodded in respect. "Awesome idea."
