Short Horror Stories

I always wondered what strange thing was moving through the house...I often saw a rotting hand, a bloody knife, and the lights turning eerie red. Until I learned that it was a bloodthirsty ghost lurking about. I regreted moving into the house way too late.

I woke up today and found a plate of pancakes waiting for me! I ate it excitedly! Before realizing, who made the pancakes? Then something fell inside the dark pantry.

I was sleeping peacefully when my little brother entered my room and said to tell him a lullaby when suddenly I realised, I murdered him a few weeks ago.

Thats a plot twist

My brother scared me by hiding in my closet. Then I remembered, he had died 3 years ago.

I had a nightmare while I was asleep about something pallid figure that had been drowned, and I woke up crying. My mother was right there at the door to comfort me. A closer look, and I realized that she was the figure in my nightmare, and she had died a year after I was born.

A hand covered my mouth, while I tried to use my hands to get free from it, another hand caught it, while I was struggling with my legs, another hand grasped it. Slowly a dozens of creeping rotten hands started covering me. A hand came near my nose and it smelled horrible, making me unable to breath. Suddenly I gasped and woke up, relieved that it was only a nightmare. Very few did I know, that a pair of hands were just under my bed.

When I suddenly woke up from the bed that midnight to go to the toilet, I found out a ghost wearing transparent clothes had glided into my room and told me the rest of my family was dead.

It's 10:00 pm, I smiled as my daughter ran up to me, her blonde hair was in the cutest ponytail. She had just gotten home from a slumber party with her friends for her Birthday.
"Wow! You just keep getting older, how old are you now?" I smiled at her, she held up three fingers. It's now 12:16 pm and she still refuses to tell me where she got them....

I always thought my parents might like my younger brother better than me. But I didn't realize how much they favored him until he needed a heart.

I liked to go swimming in the lake with my friend in the summer. Until we learned about the dead bodies that resided at the bottom, dragging people under. That was the last time I swam at the lake...no idea what happened to my friend, though. Hadn't she gone swimming there earlier?
