Alright, I need help.

I was told from one of the sources I have, don't ask, it's for intel on drama and potential blackmail. that my crushes gf might break up with him.

As his friend, my guardian said I should tell him.

But my friend is the source who told me, and they said I can't tell anyone.

What do I do? He really likes her, but she doesn't like him anymore. I don't want to see him heartbroken again...

Hm. I think you shouldn't tell him yet because you said your source said his gf MIGHT break up with him. If you tell him and then the gf decides she doesn't want to break up with him, you'll have opened a can of worms imo. Plus if you get information from someone only because they told you you can't tell if they tell you and you promised you wouldn't tell and you're thinking of telling that's not great imo.

If you don't think you can keep a secret, then don't find out the secret in the first place!

But that's just my opinion. Everyone's different!

I was thinking of waiting, to find out if she will for sure break up with him. You're right, it would be bad if she changed her mind.





Also, @Colin McCoire and @AngelFyre McCubbin Scared Space made me cry, good writing, but so sad.

Don't get in the middle. You're the friend but their relationship is not your business and you can get into a really bad situation there.

I'm going to wait till I know things for sure, but I don't want him to get his heart broke again, not after what happened last time...

My theory is he would break up with her first

NO.

I'm certain your guardian means well, but please do not get in the middle of their relationship!

Think about it: what if they don't break up? You'll be seen as the one starting or passing on malicious rumours.

I know this is going to sound harsh, Keith: but just as you were hurt when you found out that he liked a girl, so you have to stand by and watch him, potentially, be hurt as well. You're his friend, and he'll need that friendship for whatever happens after.

One caveat: if he asks you if you know anything or have heard anything, only then should you say anything to him.

Actually two caveats: if you have direct, first hand knowledge of her cheating on him or some other evidence of foul play, then I'd approach him.
