Good Books and A New Friend
"Oh no, it seems that I could not go to Quidditch training today! It starts to rain, and it must be dangerous to fly my broom in such bad weather!" After a day`s busy class, Rita sighed as she looked out of the window as she was picking up her stuff and ready to leave the classroom since she could not fly her broom as she planned, "However, I can go to the library to read some good books. I am sure there must be many interesting books in the library! I believe I can find a book I enjoy reading!" Rita decided to pick up her belongings, put on her raincoat, and head quickly to the library to find a good seat before it gets too crowded.
The library was huge with all kinds of books. Maybe because most people cannot go outside because of the weather, there were quite a few students in the library, doing homework, reading books, or having chats in a low voice. Rita was glad that she decided to go to the library quite early since the library was not too crowded and there were still plenty of seats at that time. She found a seat and put her belongings to occupy that, before finding a wizard fiction book with an interesting title and sat down to read carefully. Suddenly, a boy slightly shorter than her, who was wearing red clothes, found a seat beside her to read his book. From his red clothes, Rita knew he was a Gryffindor. She attempted to start a friendly chat with the Gryffindor boy with a low voice to make sure she did not distract others, "Hi, little lion, I`m Rita, Rita Su, a second-year Hufflepuff. Nice to meet you! Could you please tell me what your name is? How are you feeling today? What book are you reading?" She smiled at the boy, then continued to concentrate on her book while waiting for the boy to respond.

Good Books and A New Friend
Keith had had a fun day running with @Colin McCoire, and exploring the castle by himself. Keith was ready to relax, and read. He had not yet visited the library, so he was excited to see it, and what kinds of books they had.
Keith walked up to his common room, then to his dorm. "Lalala, time to change into something more casual. Maybe sweats and a t-shirt, yeah, that works"
Keith made his way down the flights of stairs, "Why does the common room have to be on the fifth floor? All these stairs are moving, ugh, this is tiring. I just wanna go relaxxxxxxxx" He thought, trying to make it down to the ground floor, and then to the library.
Keith finally made it to the first floor, now he had to get to the ground floor. He found the stairs, then continued walking, looking for the library. He turned, seeing the entrance, "Oh! It's right here... That was easy." He mumbled, walking in.
The library was huge, like super huge. He looked around, trying to find the fiction section.
He walked along the shelves, looking for his favorite type of fiction- Fantasy! He found a good book, and went to sit down and read. HE was about half a chapter in when someone began talking, it was the girl next to him. He looked up to listen to her.
"U-Um... Hi, I'm Keith Moore, First year Gryffindor. I'm feeling okay, what about you? I'm glad I finally had time to come here. Um... The book is called Ash Princess, by Laura Sebastian. I can explain some of it if you want, I'm rereading it. What about you? What book are you reading?" He asked, then turned back to his book.

Rita listened carefully and smiled at Keith as he introduced himself to her and told him a bit more about the book he was reading. Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian. Rita had not read this book before, but it seems to be an interesting book. She was actually reading Les Misérables, that extremely long classic book by Hugo, and it was just so long that Rita felt like she could never finish it. She wanted to keep the conversation with Keith short so that she could try to read more pages of that fascinating but long book. "Hi, Keith! I am feeling great today! Ash Princess seems to be an interesting book! I`ve never read it before! " Rita quickly whispered to Keith, "I am reading Les Misérables by Hugo, and I feel like I can never finish it!" After a quick response, Rita immediately focused on the book and quickly began to turn more pages. Les Misérables is a good book and definitely deserves to be a classic, but it was just too long! Maybe she could read Ash Princess next time and ask Keith a bit more about it later, but right now she just waited to focus on the book until Keith responded to her.

Rita listen to him speak, then answered him in a hush voice. "It is very interesting. So, there is a girl, she is the daughter of a queen. The queen is the ruler of a land called Astrea. The girl's name was Theo, until the evil Kaiser came. The Kaiser is the ruler of the Kalovaxians. The Kaiser had the Thyen, his evil sidekick, kill Theo's mother, the queen. The Kaiser took over, and for like 10 years she has been held as a prisoner, kind of, they treat her like a puppet, and if one of the Atreans step out of place, she gets whipped, like it's crazy. In the second chapter she had to kill her dad or she would be killed. Right now she has Killed the Thyen, and is escaping." Keith told her.
He went back to reading, for a moment, then thought her ought to ask her about her book. "So, um... What's your book about, if you don't mind explaining?" He asked, turning to look at her for minute, before turning back towards his book.
He loved the book, from the start he thought it was awesome. He couldn't wait to get done with it so he could start the second one.Wc: -208- Interacting with: @Rita Su

Rita listened carefully and smiled at Keith as he explained the plot of Ash Princess to her. The book seems to be a fantasy with queens and evil rulers. "Ash Princess really seems to be an interesting book, I may have a read in the future." Rita whispered to Keith, "Les Misérables is a classic by a famous French author named Hugo. It is set before and during the French Revolution and shows the poor people in France are mistreated during that time and that`s why they decided to start the French revolution. The protagonist is Jean Valjean who has spent 19 years in prison for stealing a bread to feed his hungry kids and trying to escape from prison. A priest saved his soul, and he becomes the mayor 8 years later to help those poor and mistreated people. There are many other important characters in the book, and I really cannot describe the plot in just a few words, so I suggest you read the book by yourself although it is a very long book and a sad book. Most characters in this book are just miserable, as the name suggests. There is also a musical based on the book that is my all-time favorite. You can watch the musical first to grab the plot quickly, and the songs in the musical are just so good, such as "I Dreamed a Dream", "Who am I", "One day more", etc. I hope you will also like the book and the musical." Rita smiled at Keith again when she finished speaking and began to continue reading her book.
