Wynn hovered near to where the club meeting was for several minutes, much too timid to approach. He had joined the club on a surge of courage to step outside his comfort zone, something he now started to regret. Luckily, a few club members arrived, and he quietly followed behind them.
Finding an empty spot, he sat down on the picnic blanket and put down his bag. Prior to the meeting, he had a small incident of panic when he found out he had to bring some tea to the meeting. He never brought any tea to Hogwarts, and he didn’t have any biscuits he could take as a substitute, either. Luckily, in the depths of his suitcase, he found several teabags of green tea his mum had packed in his stead. Crisis averted, he sighed in relief.
He’d been drinking tea for a long time. His mother loved it, and would often brew a pot for their whole family. Green tea, black tea, milk tea… his mum knew how to make them all. Naturally, it became one of his go-to beverages.
“H-hi!” Wynn said softly when he found a good opportunity to introduce himself. “My name is Wynn, and I like tea! I brought green tea teabags because um, it was all I could find at the moment…” He trailed off in a whisper. Indeed, if he had the foresight to pack his own choice of tea to Hogwarts, he probably would’ve chosen to bring rooibos tea. He tried it for the first time when his family ate at a ramen restaurant years ago, and it was refreshing when served cold.

Taisia knew little to nothing about tea. Yet she had signed up for the club to meet some new people. As she trotted down the steps she kept her eyes wide for the club. Sure enough, there was Sirin. She knew Sirin from her own club, Hog's Debate Club, but they hadn't spoken that much. In one hand was a thermos of English Breakfast Tea. It was pretty boring, but Taisia's favourite. The other hand carried a small pack of shortbread fingers. Her mother liked to bake and had sent them along, which turned out perfectly since they were the best biscuits to have with English Breakfast Tea. Already, it looked as though there were around ten people.
"Hi everyone, sorry I'm late!"
She noticed the members were explaining what tea they brought and why they brought it.
When it came to her turn she said, "Today I brought a very normal tea- English Breakfast tea. It's not a special tea or a cultural tea, but it is my favourite. I did some research and found out it is made of Ceylon and Assam leaves, which are combined to make English Breakfast. I have milk and sugar as well because that's how I drink mine. Oh, and I also brought shortbread!"
She finished her spiel and nodded, looking at the other club members.

Rita was really excited about the first meeting of the Tea Drinkers Club. As a Chinese kid growing up in London, Rita is proud of the tea history in China, as China is where tea originated before it was transported to other countries such as England. She could not wait to share the knowledge about Chinese tea she learned from her Chinese parents with fellow club members, although she honestly just knew a little bit about tea. Besides, Rita much prefers tea to coffee and found the idea of drinking tea and chatting with friends very interesting! She decided to go to the outdoor club area with green tea bags her parents gave her and introduce herself to fellow club members.
When she finally arrived at the outdoor club area, she found there had been many club members waiting for her to join. She waved to them, "Hi! Sorry for being late and keeping you guys waiting! For those who don`t know me, I am Rita, Rita Su, a Second-Year Hufflepuff. I am bringing Chinese green tea with me because I enjoy drinking it and it indicates my Chinese heritage! Not sure if you will like it, but it is worth trying! I love the idea of this club and can`t wait to drink tea, discuss tea, and have fun chatting with you guys!"

A tea club? Why not! Kayla had signed up for a tea club, where they would sample and discuss their favourite type of tea! Kayla wasn't much of a tea person, that kind of came from being a hufflepuff, where they'd be feasting on Hot Chocolate, but she loved certain types anyway! Well, not
When Kayla had received the owl, she had actually sat down for a long time to think about what her favourite type of tea was! And after awhile, she had remembered that she had rooibos tea, just that very morning. And it was a delicacy, indeed. She had decided that was what she would bring down, and collected what she needed.
She made her way down to the grounds with her usual bag, that hung loosely at her side. It contained a small box with rooibos tea in it, also a flask, just in case. She approached a girl who was reading a book, and assumed this was Sirin, there was also people she did recognise. Like Rita was there, but there were a bunch of people she didn't recognise. But she saw Bailey, who she knew from other clubs, and also Kim, who she knew from Lily's club.
"Heyo," she said cheerfully, "your Sirin, right? I'm Kayla," she added, just in case Sirin didn't know her name.

Tea Sampling
Sirin was very pleased to see more people show up. She kept a running list of participants: many people she'd never known, and some had even signed up last minute. Wynn...a Ravenclaw bow who Sirin had never met---certainly interested in getting to know him---Kim--ah, Kim Sato (Aoki)! And of course, Bailey.
"Thank you everyone for coming! Dig in, and feel free to share your tea--literally and figuratively. Any gossip? It seems we have the duo, Kim and Bailey!"
Sirin was pleased to be acquainted with both--they were both wonderful people and very cute together. Seeing more new and returning Ravenclaws, Sirin was especially excited. Getting to know her fellow eagles was one of the most riveting experiences, from Sirin's past encounters. Perhaps she would have the opportunity to get to know Bailey and, especially Wynn, better. Knowing other first years would also help Sirin adjust to her new Hogwarts setting. She distributed the Jasmine tea, and, keeping a cup for herself, passed it around to everyone. She hoped that they would enjoy it just as she did. Sirin picked up a pastry and began to eat, waiting for someone else to come.

The leader's name was Sirin(I could finally stop calling her the leader, I didn't like doing that), and she was a first-year Ravenclaw. Before someone else could go, however, another person came. He yelled "Yo!" to the group, and said that he had brought some garlic butter biscuits instead of tea, but he would like try different types of tea in club. He also mentioned that he could help with boiling water. He asked what tea he could try first and I perked up. I was asking the same question! What had everyone else brought?

As Sirin continued to take attendance, she heard a fast-approaching boy. The kid was wearing a Gryffindor robe and was bawling his eyes out. Sirin thought he must have been the kid named Taizu. He was carrying teabags that had already burst and were sobbing terribly, knees in the muddy ground. Seeing the poor boy cry reminded Sirin of the times when she cried all night, feeling weak, helpless, and guilty. She remembered the warm tears she’s and refused to let this boy cry. Crying was somehow a symbol to her. Sirin stood to comfort him and grabbed a couple of tissues.
"Hey, um, are you okay? There's no need to cry--you're not late. Well-maybe a bit late but it's fine, there are still plenty of more meetings in the future! Here, I'll help you up."
Sirin had never comforted a crying person (besides herself) and didn't know what to say to help the boy, but she felt that she had to do something at the very least. She gave him the napkins and helped him wipe the mud off, and fixed his robes. She then picked up the teabags--they were beyond salvation--and certainly wouldn't be safe to consume. A pity--Sirin imaged the boy must have been very excited and carefully selected his tea--only for them to be wasted. Feeling bad, she offered him a cup of her tea.
"Try some Jasmine tea--I'm sure you'll feel better afterward. When you're finished, feel free to introduce yourself!"
Sirin hoped that she had been kind and welcoming enough--she didn't want to make the boy's day even worse.

ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | Kim smirked at Bailey's words. She didn't seem to remember Kim was pretty clumsy too. Sure, his clumsiness didn't tend to happen all the time. But if he got up early enough, he was as clumsy as just about anyone with natural clumsiness. It was horrible, which was the main reason why Kim didn't like getting up early for anything if possible. Classes were an exception. Glancing over the platters Bailey had brought with her, Kim was surprised to see mostly savory items. But he was relieved to find she hadn't made the same thing as him. Maybe they should communicate beforehand as to what kind of things they would be bringing to each club meetings. So they wouldn't end up bringing the same thing later. Or types of things. He'd send her an owl later on talking about that. Come to think of it, he still owed her a response for her last letter she'd sent to him. But he'd been busy and distracted since the new term had begun. For various reasons. Sophia had been busy devoting herself to homework all the time, so Kim hadn't been able to see her as often as he used to anymore. Precious and Sage were much the same. The only two he'd seen around a lot had been Pax, Colin and Gia, although he hadn't been able to spend much time with any of them lately either. Life did go on. Part of him was glad they were all busy. It let him spend some time to himself again. But another part kind of missed being together with them. Not that he'd ever tell anyone this. Admitting feelings like this was considered a weakness, he'd been taught this by his parents all of his life. Kim reached over and took some of everything Bailey had brought, not wanting to miss out on anything delicious. It was then that someone else arrived, someone Kim recognized from earlier during the Hogwarts Express ride. "Ah, Win!" He exclaimed and raised a hand into the air to get Wynn's attention. "Yo!" Kim said, giving his trademark greeting. Three more girls showed up, two of which he recognized as Rita & Kayla. He nodded to them and then let his blue eyes flicker over the girl he didn't know. If she'd been a little closer, Kim would have introduced himself to her and tried to get her name in return, as she hadn't introduced herself to the others. But she was a bit too far away, so it would seem awkward if he did so. Sirin then took the time to speak up, calling for everyone to share tea and gossip and Kim glanced around the area. There were a good number of members who had showed up and thankfully they were outside. So his social anxiety would do well in this location. That was comforting for him. If he needed to, he could get up and move out of the way and it wouldn't look too strange if he did so. Not like it would have if they'd been inside a room. The jasmine tea was getting distributed around the area now, apparently it was the first one he'd be sampling this afternoon. Sirin herself had brought this one. After the jasmine tea had been heated up with the use of Incendio, Kim lightly sipped it as he tried to gather the flavors on his tongue. Green tea was the base, he could taste it. This tea was quite fragrant and ever so slightly sweet too. If he remembered correctly, this type of tea was very popular in China. Kim munched on some of Bailey's snacks and drank more tea. The Gougère bread-rolls went well with the jasmine tea, the cheese blending perfectly with it. That was when Sirin spoke again, asking if anyone had seen Keith or Taizu. "I didn't see him in the common room when I left, maybe he got lost? Or slept in, this is a weekend. I know how it feels to want to sleep for longer periods on the weekends. Not that I ever get a chance to..." Kim muttered those last few words under his breath. Right as he was saying this, the boy in question appeared, dressed haphazardly and looking a little panicked. Kim raised a brow. Before he could do or say anything, Taizu opened his mouth and a flood of words escaped him in the process. And then, Taizu promptly disintegrated into a flood of tears, leaving Kim blinking at the sight. Okay, the orange haired boy hadn't expected him to react like this and all over a club meeting too! Now, if it had been a class, that would have been one thing, many students happened to have meltdowns over their studies. But this was just a club meeting and a relaxed one too! There was no need to react so drastically like this, Kim was sure Sirin wouldn't mind if he was a little late. But this was Sirin's club, and due to this, the boy remained silent regarding Taizu's late arrival. He watched as Sirin went over to help Taizu and reassured him that being late wasn't too bad and that there were other meetings he could come to on time! Kim nodded at Taizu, if the boy should look over at him, and used his head to motion towards the area where the snacks were located. He should get it hopefully and if he didn't, well Kim could show him later on! Taizu couldn't miss out on the treats here! They would also probably help make him feel better too, along with the various teas to try out. Speaking of the other teas, Kim turned over to the girl by his side. "What tea should we try next?" He asked, curious as to what Bailey wanted to try for her second one. Time passed and eventually Kim decided it was time to leave. He said his goodbyes to everyone, some of whom also seemed to be leaving, and left the area, feeling satisfied with how things had gone. ────────────────────── ㅤ ㅤ──────────────────────

Kim smirked at bailey words, and she smiled sweetly at him. She was clumsy, and not afraid to admit it.
I am definitely the most clumsy out of the two of us Bailey thought. im gonna need to practice walking before all of the winter balls and everything.
As they walked down, Bailey decided to let the peaceful quiet stay, and not to bother with talking. surely we’ll talk at the meeting
Sure enough, at the meeting, the head Sirin, said that they could share their gossip - or ‘tea’ and then the actual tea she brought.
Bailey smiled at this, and then smiled wider when Kim later asked what she was going to try next.
For her first cup, Bailey had had some of the peppermint tea she had brought. It was her favorite, but she was curious about the others.
She asked Kim “Do you have one that you think I would like, or should try? I don’t know where to start!”
After the meeting concluded, Bailey said her goodbyes, and started heading back to the castle.
Kim had left sooner than her, just because Bailey had gotten sidetracked in a conversation.
With a smile, Bailey ran after Kim and almost tackled him, attaching him with a hug from behind.
