Open to everyone Butterflies and Excitement

Rita has just finished chatting with Ro when another girl went into the lavatory asking if anyone knew how to do makeup and the lavatory was a bit crowded for 5 girls. Rita walked to the girl, asking her politely, "Hi, my name is Rita, Rita Su, a second-year Hufflepuff. Could you please tell me what your name is? Actually, I also don`t know how to do makeup. Maybe you can ask Bailey to help you. I believe Bailey is willing to help you with the makeup." Almost at the same time, Ro answered her question saying she didn`t have a particular date but she had a black silk dress given by her mum, the fanciest thing she got. Rita smiled at Ro, "Good to know, Ro! I believe the black silk dress will look good on you!"
Suddenly, Lily asked if she could go to the bathroom. Rita guessed the shy Slytherin was just too shy to be in a lavatory with 5 girls and wanted to leave soon. Rita understood her feeling, despite being a little reluctant for the young Slytherin to leave, so she said to Lily, "Alright, you can go to the bathroom then. I hope you won`t spend too much time there. Please return early."

Taisia could hear chatter through the door to the girl’s lavatory. She hoped that the girls inside were at least around her age. She clutched her dress in it’s plastic bag and braced herself, before pushing the door open. Inside was a crowd of 5 girls, although she had come in just in time for Lily Blaze (who she had heard of before) to dart out. It was quite large, but Taisia didn’t care. She had to get her dress on. The girls looked expectantly at her.
Oh right! Hi, I’m Taisia.
They greeted her back and she managed to duck into a stall before anymore questions were asked. She quickly changed from a school robe she’d been wearing earlier into her under garments and put on a frock for now. She didn’t want to do anything to damage her dress. She picked her navy heels- oh they were going to kill her and went to open the door. She stopped and took a breath. These girls seemed friendly. They would be nice. Maybe someone could help her with her make up? She ended up opening the door and coming back out. Lily had entered in. Taisia exited the cubicle and joined the group.

"Yet another girl joined the Lavatory chat? That would be too crowded! There are already 5 girls!" It was a huge surprise for Rita when another girl who introduced herself as Taisia joined in the lavatory to chat with them and asked for help with her make-up, "I hope no more girls joined in! The ball is about to start, and everyone just joined in at the last minute! My patience is beginning to run out by introducing myself to new girls continuously" Despite feeling quite reluctant, Rita still came close to the girl and greeted her with some impatience, "Hi. I`m Rita, a second-year Hufflepuff."

Just then, Lily returned to the Lavatory. Rita was also a bit surprised to see Lily coming back, asking what has happened. Rita thought Lily was the only one who felt overwhelmed and wanted to leave, but now she also wanted to find an excuse to leave the crowded lavatory but decided to stay longer since she didn`t want to upset other girls. "What would Lily feel when she saw Taisia joining the chat when she was not here? Would she decide to leave the Lavatory again? If she leaves again, I may consider following her and leaving the Lavatory too. I don`t want to introduce myself again! It affects my mood, and I was hoping for the ball with a delighted mood when I first entered the Lavatory!" Rita thought when Taisia greeted the other girls in the Lavatory again.

It was the day of the ball, and although it was Gwen’s first ‘big’ event, she wanted it to be unforgettable, so she decided she would go get ready in the fourth floor bathrooms, and if by chance, maybe some other people would be there too.
And that was exactly was she did. With a big canvas bag containing her dress and makeup, slung across her shoulders, she stood on the moving staircase to the lavatory, waiting for it to connect to the landing.
When it did, she continued down the corridor until she arrived. She heard many girls already there, some shouting and some just talking, and thought she heard Lily’s voice among them, along with a few more, around five or six. Just as she was about to push open the door, it opened for her, with Lily darting out, towards the opposite direction. Gwen barely had time to blurt out a quick “Hi, Lily!” after her reflexes had responded.
Raising her eyebrows, she pushed open the door again, to a crowd of girls around her age in conversation. Among them, she recognized absolutely none. But it was fine, she would get to know them in her own time.

"Gosh, another girl? I mean, the room has already got too crowded!" Rita was a bit shocked when another girl walked into the Lavatory, introducing herself as Guinevere. Introducing herself for another time? It was getting too much for Rita. But it seemed that she had to do so.

Despite being extremely frustrated, Rita still walked close to the girl, put on a fake smile, and greeted to the new girl, "Hi. I`m Rita, second year Hufflepuff. How are you feeling today? The Lavatory was getting way too crowded, and Rita only had one idea in her mind: she wanted to leave the Lavatory. However, it seemed that no one really cared about how she was feeling since they were all chatting with each other and none of them commented on the new girl`s arrival. Finally, Rita decided to tell the truth to the other girls to find herself some time to spend alone and turned to the talkative girls, "Girls, it is getting too much for me. I`m not saying I dislike any of you, I just feels a bit overwhelmed by the whole situation. Could I just get out of the place and spend some time alone for a while? Don`t worry, I won`t spend too much time, and I will come back very soon." She stared at the girls and waited for their reaction after she expressed her true feelings about new girls arriving, and thought, "I hope no more girls will arrive to the lavatory anymore!"

“My name is Lily, Lily Blaze, I’m a First Year Slytherin. Guys, what are you all wearing for the ball and who are you going with?"
Taisia tried to get herself heard above the crowd of girls inside. Wow it was a bit crowded. Still, she decided to stay put so she might finally have some friends! Most of the girls hadn't heard Lily so Taisia repeated the question for her while she noticed Lily talking to Rita, which she disregarded.
Guys, what are you all wearing for the ball and who are you going with? By now the Lavatory was quiet, and all the girls had stopped talking except the one sharing about herself. She waited for most of the other girls to say what they were wearing and who they were going with before she spoke. Finally a time came and she reached over and unzipped the zipper on her dress cover. She hadn't showed anyone yet. This was the grand reveal.
"I'm wearing this navy blue faerie dress to fit the theme! And I guess it also matches my house. I'm going with Lazarus Lavey!! He's a first year and I'm pretty sure we are going as more than friends!!

Gwen frowned a little as Rita gave her an obviously fake smile, asking how she was.
"I'm fine, thanks. You?" she replied, with a slightly forced smile of her own. Adjusting the position of her bag on her shoulder, she made her way towards a more quiet corner of the room. Okay, it was a lil crowded in here, but that was just an opportunity for new friends. Maybe they could even go to the ball together.
Instead of responding to just her, Rita spoke to the whole room. Gwen nodded sympathetically; it was quite a shock to her when she saw how many people were there.
Then, Lily started to speak to the whole group, asking what they were wearing and who they were going with. Although Gwen was quite sure everyone had heard, the girl named Taisia repeated her question.
After one or two girls had shared, Gwen spoke up.
"I'm wearing this green and white dress," she said, taking it half out of the bag so that some girls could see. "My mum also gave me this gold laurel wreath shaped circlet to wear, and I'm going with Kay Evergreen, as friends."
She then quieted down and let the other girls talk.

Seeing there were currently no new girls joining in the lavatory chat and hearing Lily whispering kind words to her with her friendly smile to calm her down, Rita felt less overwhelmed, so she decided to stay in the lavatory and continue to chat with the other girls. Rita heard Taisia asking what everyone was wearing and saw Guinevere frowned when she asked how Rita was, seeming that she sensed Rita's smiled was fake.

"I am wearing a blue dress and looks like Cinderella today, I like your dress pick and hope you will like mine too." She turned to Taisia, before smiling genuinely to Guinevere and said to her, "I am pretty decent today. Sorry, I was just a bit overwhelmed by too many girls coming. Hope I don't upset you by my fake smile and are you excited for the ball? By the way, I like your dress pick and I believe it will look gorgeous on you! It is a beautiful dress!" She then turned to Lily and whispered to her, "Thanks for your kind words and nice smile, Lily. I am feeling better now. I have desided to stay here unless someone else comes." After finishing her speech, Rita continued to put on her dress and some makeup while waiting for the girls to respond.

Bailey smiled and welcome all of the other girls as they entered, giving her name and house when they introduced themselves. She kinda zoned out a little, but snapped back into reality when Reena asked is anyone knew how to do makeup, and Ro asked if she could use their stuff. Rita said that she, Bailey knew how to do makeup and Bailey smiled at both girls saying “Yes I do! And Ro, feel free to use any of my things!” Bailey finished her makeup with a swipe of gloss.
Looking up at Reena, Bailey said Reena, since I’m finished with my makeup, I can do yours or show you how if you want!”
Waiting for a reply, Bailey smiled and brushed through her hair. Getting her comb a little wet, she combed it though the top part of her hair, making it a little less frizzy.
Spraying it with hairspray and anti- frizz spray, Bailey patted her head, and stood from where she was sitting.
Gesturing to the chair she had just vacated, Bailey said to Reena, “If you want, I can do your hair and makeup. What are you going as? Do you have any particular theme or inspiration?”
