Closed Nice Weather, Tasty Food and Fun Chat PV Kayla Realma F

Ah, sunshine. Oh, the outdoors! Wasn't nature just amazing? It was even better after a morning full of lectures, homework and staying inside for a for quite a while. That's when nature was best appreciated, when it was left alone for a bit too long. So, why have lunch under a fake sky, when you could have acces to the real one?

Kayla skipped with a bit of food on to the grounds, in a light and happy mood, swinging her bag around and turning as she arrived at a suitable sitting spot. She set her bag down, but didn't really feel like touching her food at the moment- being Kayla, she started cartwheeling. Falling and getting back up again with only more determination. She attempted a hand-stand at some point, but she fell down hopelessly, which, instead of telling her to not do it again, sent her laughing as she sat down and blew a short, thin strand out of hair. Wasn't it just a beautiful day?

Kayla hummed as she searched her bag for her yellow lunch box with ducks on it, when a girl, perhaps a year older than her, plopped down next to Kayla. She had sleek, black hair, kinda short, one thing she had in common in Kayla already.
"Hello, Riri! I'm Kayla but you can call me Kay! I'm doing pretty awesome, thanks. The weather is perfect! A bit of sun is always amazing, am I right? I much rather eat out here, since its such a nice day." Kayla returned the kind smile to Rita- well, now known as Riri.

Rita smiled as the first-year fellow badger introduced herself as Kayla with the nickname Kay. What a beautiful name! Rita just likes how Kayla`s name sounds. The warm autumn sun shined upon Rita`s face, and with the breeze gently touching her hair, it was definitely a relaxing day to eat lunch on the grounds and chat with new friends. Rita sat back on the floor and grabbed a sandwich to eat, before replying to Kayla, "Yeah, the weather is really nice and there is nothing more relaxing than sitting on the grounds enjoying food under the warm sun. It is autumn sun, so it is not as boiling hot as the summer sun. It is also nice meeting up with you, Kay. What have you been recently? Are you enjoying your time in Hogwarts? Are you anticipating for the upcoming ball? Have you got any friends or dates to go to the ball with? Could you please share some of your interests and hobbies? Sorry, I am asking you too many questions without realizing. I really want to know more about you. In terms of me, I am going great and I can`t wait for the ball. I have already got a few friends to go the ball with, and I believe they are all nice people like you. I enjoy listening to music and singing, playing sports (such as Quidditch and jogging), meeting new people. and enjoying food. " Rita smiled at Kay again when finishing her speech and waited for Kay to respond.

Kayla looked up at the sky, indeed it wasnt as burning hot, but to belive it was raining only a few days beforr.
"Woah, Riri, slow down!" Kayla laughed, only half joking. "one thing at a time! Okay, er, let me see; I've been painting! I love painting and reading, depending on the book really. Hogwarts is amazing! It's just huge." Kayla remembered her encounter with a new friend of hers now, Effy, because a staircase had moved while she was trying to get to her charms class, indeed, Hogwarts was huge.
"Ah, yes, the ball. I'm super excited for that! I'm just going with a friend! I pride myself on being a painter; drawing isn't my forte, but painting, I love painting! I also enjoying running and swimming, though I can never go swimming in the lake!" she laughed, but she considered it, before continuing, "And, I dunno, maybe during Christmas I'll start gymnastics, my sister says it'll be good for me, because she does kick boxing. And I don't do sports much anymore." Kayla stared in a disntance at the lake, imagining herself doing a back flip. What a wonderful thought; a comfortable silence fell between the hufflepuffs, as Kayla munched on a sandwhich.
"Oh, I'm being rude! What do you like to do? Oooh, you're a second year right? Do you do any of the sports? Like quidditch or broom racing? I really want to do dueling; I'm just not really sure."

Rita felt a bit ashamed as she was asking Kayla too many questions at a time without realizing. She smiled to Kayla, hoping she was not annoyed by that, "I`m sorry, Kay, I was asking you too many questions at a time without realizing. And it`s OK, you are not being rude to me, it was me that is asking you to many questions in the first place. I am actually terrible at drawing and painting, but having fun with the colors can be quite interesting. Maybe you can teach me to draw some time. But I also like running and swimming, although I never consider myself a sporty person, I just do sports to keep fit." Rita paused for a while to see Kayla`s reaction. Seeing her nodding, Rita continued to speak.

"Actually, I`m a Quidditch player, a first-string beater in the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. I will actually have my first ever Quidditch match on the 14th, against the Lions. Would you come to the Quidditch Pitch to see it? Broom racing also seems interesting to me. I`m not that interested in Dueling since I don`t feel comfortable casting spells on others, although it is also an interesting sport. If you are interested in it, go for it! By the way, do you have anything else to ask?" Rita looked at the sky, before turning to Kayla again, "It is nearly time for the afternoon lessons, and I think it will rain soon. Time to leave here and go to an indoor place."

"No, its okay, Riri! It's fine, no worries, she asured the older Hufflepuff. Kayla didnt mean to make Rita uncomfortable, maybe what she said was a bit harsh. Kayla couldnt help what she says sometimes. She gave her new friend a smile, trying to say it was okay, that it was fine, also that she was kind of sorry. Hopefully her bright smile could say all that.
"I can definitely teach you sometime! I'm sure your great, though. You might just be doubting yourself.
"aye, maybe we can go running sometime here. I personally love sports, the competition, everything!" A blissful look crossed over Kayla's face as she remembered the first athletics she had participated in school, where she had come first place in 60 meters. Yes, she did love sports so very much.
"You play quiddtch? Thats so cool! Of course I'll come watch you play, I'll be cheering for you," Kayla assured Rita, getting way too excited than necessary to see her friend play against Gryffindor. As Kayla didn't have more to say, she continued to munch on her food when Rita spoke again.
"Alright! I like rain. I don't like lessons as much," she said, taking her last bite and clossing her childish lunchbox. "Lets get moving, future Quidditch star!"

Rita smiled when Kayla said there was no worries. She knew she always talks too much and often speaks things without thinking, and it is a shortcoming she needs to work on with. Luckily her friend Kayla did not seem to hate that side of her. They continued to discuss something about drawing, running, and Quidditch, and then it seemed that lunch break was nearly over, and the two girls were preparing to leave.

"Yeah, it would be great if you could teach me to draw! Maybe I would eventually like it, who knows? And we can totally run together someday! I feel like running alone is a bit tiring to be honest, and I think having a friend to run together would be more interesting! I don`t think I am a really competitive person when it comes to sports, I am just doing it for some fun and for keeping fit." The Second Year Hufflepuff replied while beginning to pick up her lunch box and other stuff, "Yeah, it would be great if you can come to spectate the Quidditch match and cheer on me! I know I am far from being tough on the broom, but I am practicing hard and gradually improving! I know I would get better at Quidditch if I practice more! So, I think it`s time to call it a day, catch you later then!" After waving goodbye to the other Hufflepuff girl, Rita picked up her lunch box and left the grounds for the afternoon class, hoping to see and have a nice talk with the other nice Hufflepuff girl next time.
