Click 'Common Room' and once it loads, directly to the right of the icon 'New' there should be something that looks like a round silver circle that says 10. It's directly to the left of the bell icon and directly to the right of the 'New' icon. You can collect it once every 23 hours real life. It will always be in the same location. Once you collect it a clock thing will appear saying the amount of time you have left to collect it.

As for the beans, everyone can claim them. They appear 4 times a day daily. One at 6AM, 12PM noon, 6PM and 12AM midnight. Sometimes you can't get the bean because it might be in a location you can't access yet but most of the time you will be able to get it. You have to hover your mouse over the entire area on the chain to see if the bean pops up. It'll always be on the chain at the top of the page. You will see a chain on the left hand side and right hand side of each page. The bean will always be there if it's on the page.
