Cash nodded their head when Opeila complained half-jokingly about the nickname that Cash used for her. "No to Pei, duly noted!"Cash said to Opeila and make a mental note to call her by Winters from this point and out. After the fourth year spun the bottle and landed on their former mentee, and a fist bump had been delivered, Cash watched as the others take their turn.

And when it was Katherine's turn and the lip of the bottle landed on them, the green eyes wonder what their good friend will do to them. Surely hug was not common for both students so Cash could make a mental scratch on that note. "Lay it thick on me, mate!"They said to Katherine but the other girl did not do anything,

Cash's eyebrows knitted together and they about to asked whether Katherine was alright or not in front of the masses but they opted to do that when the crowd disperse at some point from this game. Katherine seems out of it. Cash feels bad a bit for her and they wonder if it is related to Cash pushing the other girl to be here without her willing participation.

Whatever it is, Cash will deal with it later on. Now, they need to focus back on the game. The Beater then looked at McCoire and Pea shared a kiss. When they kissed was done for, McCoire let out an exciting whooped. Cash can not stop their eyes from rolling. As the game went on, Cash can not wait to be over with.

The next round of empty butterbeer bottle spinning commences. The young socialite watched Pierre spin the bottle and land on McCoire. Then it was their turn again. Cash spun the bottle and waited for the bottle to stop. When the bottle stopped, it landed on Su again. Cash wonders if the bottle is being rigged by whoever hosts this little game and gathering or not.

At least the bottle paired them with someone that was not that annoying at least for now, anyway. "It seems the bottle wants us to have some kind of friendship,"Cash said to Su. The last time the bottle landed on the young Hufflepuff, Cash fist-bump the girl. Perhaps they could make some effort.

"Since we already did some fist bumps, how about a high-five this time?"The Cuban descendant lifts up their hand and waits for Su to meet them halfway and reciprocate their gesture. "Do not let me hang here,"They joked out. And when Su slapped her hand against Cash's own in the gesture of a high-five, Cash will bring their hand down and shot the other girl a small smile.

The young Ironwoods then saw that McCoire spun the bottle and landed on Winters. McCoire then asked whether he could kiss Winters but Winters rejected him and offer a hug instead. When the two hug it out and it is somewhat a bit longer than a normal hug should be (in Cash's own opinion that is), Cash feels a bit uncomfortable with what they saw.

Cash did not know whether Winters was comfortable with the hug or not but McCoire's previous comment about taking his chances for trying to kiss Winters sprang back to their mind again. "Don't be a creep, McCoire!"Cash admonished the other boy.

Since the green eyes were a bit uncomfortable with McCoire and if the next spin the bottle landed on them (being Colin that spun on Cash) or landed on him (being Cash spun the bottle and landed on Colin), Cash will not do anything about it. They will reject blatantly what McCoire ask of them.

After Kim's little moment with Bailey - a misleading kiss on the forehead, of all things? - Sophia found herself watching with a bit of amusement. Poor Bailey. Sophia knew what it was like to have Kim inadvertently flirt with her. It was... confusing, and exciting, and so many other adjectives rolled into a ball of flusteredness. At least, that was how Sophia'd felt about it when she'd first started crushing on Kim.

Her amusement multiplied tenfold as she watched Colin's attempt to kiss everyone with a pair of lips. Thankfully he'd mellowed out just a bit when he'd spun the bottle onto her before, or she may have to actually invest in a spray bottle.

Strangely, despite the fact that she knew the thoughts were wrong, part of Sophia's mind couldn't help but wander to the last time she'd been in this game. She'd behaved just as scandalously as Kim and Colin were doing, and worse, she'd enjoyed it!

No, a nice calm game of hugging and handshakes was exactly what Sophia needed, no matter how much her mind wandered back to that adventurous, sinful night with Della.

Sophia made a mental note to try and look Della up. Maybe they could be friends? Sure, the kiss could make things a bit awkward starting out, but Della really did seem nice. Maybe Kim knew her last name?

Her attention was brought back to the moment by the bottle pointing right at her.

The kind question from Harper brought a smile to Sophia's face. She didn't know Harper well, but she'd certainly seen her around since they were both Ravenclaws.

"A hug, please?" she returned, wrapping her arms happily around the other girl.

Goodness. Sophia really loved hugs.

After a comfortable and warm couple of seconds, Sophia pulled away with a beaming smile.

"Thank you. You're very soft and warm," she said happily, before realizing it was her own turn to spin the accursed instrument of fate and awkwardness.

She gave the bottle a spin and giggled as it landed on Harper.

She walked to the other girl and gave a playful bow, with one arm looped behind her back and the other extended in offer. Her head was bowed low as she asked, "May I have this hug, milady?"

She tried her best not to giggle as she awaited the response.

This was fun.

Everything was going swell, after a quick(albeit awkward) hug with Lily Blaze, Alec walked back over to sit down and take his seat in the blanket. Admittedly he wasn't sure he was as much of a fan of the awkward physical contact of a hug as he was a fist bump, but he had been fine with it in the end. It wasn't as if a hug was going to make him run from the scene, screaming in horror. If anything, the hug was rather anti-climatic for what he was making a hug out to be in his head. Yes, hugs were a big deal, but not that big of a deal. He would watch the game, patiently waiting for his turn to roll around, when it did, Alec took his chance, spinning the bottle as hard as he could. He would watch it go around, and around, stopping and landing on Bailey Glade, Alec paused, taking in the sight of the other girl before he stood up.

Alec made his way over to Bailey Glade, however, she had already started to do the same, they met in the middle. She said she didn't have any preference on what they did and asked if Alec did. Alec would laugh and shake his head no, running a hand through his hair. “Can I kiss you?” Despite her saying no preference, he would ask, if she agreed, he would peck her on the lips, if not, he would take the rejection in his stride and offer of fist bump, the sting of rejection wasn't that big of a deal.

It was a quiet moment, one that had ended almost as quickly as it began when Alec found himself returning to his seat. The Gryffidnor wasn't sure what to make of the moment that had just occurred, and thus kept it fresh and away from his mind, focusing on watching the game instead. Laughing at certain pairings the bottle spins would produce, and eventually it would come to a point where it was Opeila's turn. He was surprised as the bottle came to a slow, landing on him, and suddenly sobered of from his childish shenanigans and antics of being apart of a spin the bottle crowd. He could no longer 'oooo' and tease strangers about tension, it was almost a shame he had to participate when he was having this much fun watching, either way, he decided to take it in stride and slowly he stood up.

Alec had been curious as to why Opeila of all people would have wanted to attend spin the bottle, much like Cash she didn't seem like the type to play spin the bottle, whatever that type was... A small half smirk edged at his lips. He wanted to ask why she was playing though now didn't seem like the time, what reasonable answer could you get from people who wanted to play spin the bottle? Alec could only better his answer sounded irrational to the average person.

Opeila asked what it would be, a kiss or a hug, Alec would chuckle as his mind immediately want back to the two of them caught in a situation with pumpkins on the run. “Now is a better time than ever for either, I am one hundred percent pumpkin gut splatter free this time,” he joked and winked, there was a moment in which Alec seemed hesitant. “I wouldn't mind a kiss,” he spoke, finally, his eyes flickered away from Opeila. If he let her, he would cup her cheek and take the chance to initiate the kiss(Alec feeling the need to make up for not knowing how to feel about kissing pei lol).

Sirin heard that there was quite a bit of drama going on down by the lake, and there was nothing Sirin loved more than some good drama or gossip. It was supposedly a game, and a fun game, she hoped. Maybe this was her opportunity to meet new people and maybe make some new friends. Sirin felt a bit lost, being a first year who barely knew her way around Hogwarts. When she arrived, the other kids were gathered around in a circle. Then, Sirin noticed a bottle. Oh, great.She thought. They're playing spin the bottle.In Sirin's lifetime, she'd never been fond of that game. It made her uncomfortable, kissing someone she barely knew. Mostly, the game gave her second-hand embarassment. Back when Sirin was younger, she played the game and ended up kissing a girl a couple years older than her. They all commented that she was a bad kisser and Sirin went home embarrassed. She didn't even show her face at school the next day. This time, however, she decided to "conquer her fears" as all the main protagonists do and give the game another chance. She really hoped that these kids would be gentler. After all, Sirin could just ask for a hug instead of a kiss to avoid more trauma. She approached the group cautiously.
"Hey everyone, mind if I join this game?"

Opeila shook her head at Colin's indignant claim that he was almost thirteen. "So you're twelve, wasn't that what I said?", she teased in return.

The fourth year allowed her housemate to hug her, but the whisper that followed absolutely missed the effect that was likely intended. Instead of being amused, Opeila felt quite relieved when the hug was over and she could step away from the for her taste entirely to physical second year.

Hadn't her joking rejection still been a rejection in which she had made her boundaries clear? Why would he linger on the subject anyway? Opeila felt creeped out, too creeped out to banish her astonishment entirely from her face at first, but then she turned to Alec and shook it off.

Opeila got off the ground too while she waited for her classmate's answer and chuckled when he made a joke about not being covered in pumpkin guts this time.
And then Alec picked the kiss, something that caught Opeila off guard just a bit. Yes, frankly she had expected that he would pick the hug, her own and surely many others' comfort choice, but apparently not for Alec.

Suddenly his hand cupped her face and she found herself so close to him. Opeila's heart quickened when she gathered all her courage, closed her eyes and leaned in until her lips met his, shy, hesitant and curious at the same time. The Slytherin would remain like that, not quite sure what to do, how to move.

Rita su spins the bottle and lands on Jessicah Armstrong. Rita has no idea who Jessica is and wanted it to land on someone she was familiar with. Sadly that would not be the case. Luckily for her, it was a new person, a stranger and perhaps a soon-to-be friend in the making. She decided the best course of action was to go in for a high-five, would the act be returned?

Harper Jordan spins the bottle and lands on Sophia Nelson.The bottle seemed to spin forever but it would finally slow on Sophia. Harper was happy to land on someone she was familiar with, hoping it would be a less awkward experience that her former one. She would walk up to Sophia offering a hug or a handshake!

Lily Blaze spins the bottle and lands on Kim Sato. Another person relieved to land on someone they were familiar with, they didn't exactly know each other but it was enough. Walking up to him she would tell him what she was up for, offering the options of either a hug or a handshake.

Kim Sato spins the bottle and lands on Clair Fernandez. After hunting her down her would raise his hand in the air to grab her attention.

Bailey Glade spins the bottle and lands on Pea Elena Fowl. She would walk over to the other and kneel down to her reach her level. Asking if a hugged worked than mentioning she was up for anything despite her offer, or maybe was it... preference of a hug?

Colin McCoire spins the bottle and lands on Opeila Winters. While he was looking for a kiss, Opeila Winters had boundaries and offered a hug instead. Colin would take the hug then make sure to note that perhaps a kiss would be in order next time...

Opeila Winters spins the bottle and lands on Alec Mason. It was a different situation from her other spins, she was left slightly nervous as the other was actually an option to kiss. They would kiss, though for her, really, it must have been such a shame when she would later find out her first kiss wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

Piérre Marchonné spins the bottle and lands on Colin McCoire. A bottle spin which turned into quite an interesting ordeal when Piérre leaped after Colin, as if for fear the other was going to run away. Well he certainly didn't seem like he'd be able to run now. Piérre would attempt to go in for a kiss.

Cassandra Ironwoods spins the bottle and lands on Rita su. The bottle thought it destiny, thus, who could reject it? What was the bottle trying to harness here? Who knew?! Either way fist bumps seemed boring in comparison since they had already done it. High five time!

Sophia Nelson spins the bottle and lands on Harper Jordan. Recent interactions had come and gone and this seemed to be another pair the bottle was particularly fond of. After hugs in the last spin Sophia would offer Harper a hug as she spun on her again.

Alec Mason spins the bottle and lands on Bailey Glade. Alec would walk over to Bailey who started speaking first and said she was fine with anything. Despite her assurance, Alec was direct and would ask if it was okay to kiss her before doing so.

Alma Stoll and Sirin Liu would join the game. What would become of them as they entered the game? Who was to know?

Pea Elena Fowl spins the bottle and lands on Athena McClenin. However is it another spin lost to time and nobody quite remembers this one. It would go the same with Jessicah Armstrong when she spins the bottle and lands on Piérre Marchonné. Another one left out of the history books, oh well, let's at least hope it was good! Athena McClenin spins the bottle and lands on Lily Blaze lost and gone as well! Another! Clair Fernandez spins the bottle and lands on Cassandra Ironwoods. Everyone here who was spun on can assume they were gently rejected and nothing came of it.

As Sirin nervously watched the bottle spin, she wondered who it would land on. She hoped that her luck wouldn't fail her. As the bottle slowly stopped, Sirin looked up to see the neck of the little bottle pointing in the direction of an older girl. Who is this girl? Sirin didn't know. She certainly looked a lot older than Sirin was, and, judging by the girl's appearance, she seemed to hold some sort of importance. The girl was wearing a Slytherin robe, and from Sirin's limited knowledge she guessed that this girl was named Opeila. Sirin really didn't know how to react. She obviously wasn't going to kiss her--she knew that both of them definitely wouldn't want to. Her instinct told her to just go with a friendly hug. Yes--a hug would do. Of course, Sirin was very nervous. She didn't want to appear awkward. Suck it up, Sirin. You can do this. She looked at the older girl tentatively, waiting for her response. As she was waiting, she noticed the bottle spin again. Only a few seconds passed before Sirin found the little glass neck of the bottle pointed directly at her. A young Hufflepuff girl, who Sirin remembered to be Rita, had landed the bottle. Oh, great. She thought. A couple hugs wouldn't hurt. Besides, this would be the perfect friend making opportunity....
At least, Sirin hoped.

When Alec came over to her, he asked if she was ok for a kiss. Smiling at him, she said “Sure! I’m game for anything.”
She really was, and and since he was (a.) a boy and (b.) someone within a year or a year and a half of her, age wise.
Leaning forward, Bailey closed her eyes and tipped her head sideways, waiting for Alec to kiss her. She wasn’t one to iniate stuff like this.
Lily spun the bottle in the next round, and it spun into her! It was a nice surprise, and Bailey walked over to her, knelt to be on her level, and asked “How does a hug sound? From one friend to another? A handshake or fistbumb work too- if you’re not a physics touch person!”
Waiting for the younger girls response, Bailey smiled.
Later in the game, it was baileys turn and she spun onto a friend of hers, fellow Ravenclaw Sophia.
Walking over to where Sophia was, Bailey smiled, knelt and asked, “How does a hug sound? I’ve been told I give great hugs.. though I’ll settle for anything.” Bailey winked, and then smiled and laughed. She honestly was enjoying the game more than she expected too, and was having fun.
