Background: Evangeline was born into a wealthy, respected family, known for their prestigious ambitions. Her parents, Castellan Chrysler and Elizabeth Chrysler, expects the highest education and the best future for their children. Castellan owns a share of the family's car business and spends most of his time away from the manor, working on improving the business. Elaine Chrysler is Evangeline's older sister (by 3 years), and was raised by Elizabeth, while when Evangeline was born, Elizabeth had busied herself with her ballet school, entrusting the young girl to the family governess, Charlotte (Lottie). Evangeline often found herself envious of Elaine's favored presence among her parents. Unlike her sister, Evangeline did not inherit her mother's talent in dance and was often overlooked, therefore left to tend to her own needs. Lottie was the one who made sure Evangeline had a proper education, and was more like a mother to her. Out of all those who lived in the Chrysler Manor, Evangeline was the closest to Lottie. Because she was raised to stay in the manor all her life, her social skills were lacking, but before leaving for Hogwarts, Lottie made sure to teach her the basics of interacting with other children her age.

First instance of magic: Her first instance of magic was during a boring history lesson in the study room. Lottie had been trying to get nine-year-old Evangeline to memorize some Welsh history, but it was an unbearably hot afternoon and the little girl simply wasn't interested. She had been staring out the window facing the garden, watching a duck swim around in the fish pond when suddenly she found herself in the pond, soaking wet. Lottie was dumbfounded, but the quickly brought her back inside. The incident wasn't spoken of again. Other than that, some of her other unexplainable instances were when she magically pulled books from the top shelf and turned the pages of her books without touching them.

PERSONALITY

Evangeline (sometimes called Eva or Lyn) has a mindset of one eager to learn and has been considered to be a bright child when she chooses to be. It isn't hard to grasp her attention because she can get easily interested in a very wide variety of things as long as it is somewhat curious. She can also be described as moody; her feelings can change multiple times in the span of ten minutes as her mood swings are quite unpredictable.

Generally quiet in nature, she does open up to the people she spends the most time with (usually someone she finds interesting) and once you have earned her loyalty, Evangeline will stand by you until the end of time. When you first get to know her, she is rather closed off. However, it is simply a mechanic of self-defense. Once she's warmed up to you, she will go out of the way to make you feel cared for; crafting little gifts, or lending you a book with sticky notes decorating it is definitely something she would do. Evangeline leans more towards the optimistic side, although at times she may enter bouts of pessimism. One cannot say she is a rule-follower, as she often gets away with breaking smaller rules, but she has never broken any major rules in her life. She tries to remain in everyone's good graces, yet isn't afraid to make a few enemies. To persuade her to do something, or just change her mind, one must go about in a logical way, reasoning with her and perhaps bribing her with a new set of stationary.

APPEARANCE

Evangeline Chrysler stands at 4'3 (134 cm), a little on the shorter side for an eleven year old. She has a rather skinny frame, and doesn't consider herself to be a sporty person. Her short, wavy hair is naturally dark ash brown in color, but she insisted on dyeing it black just like her older sister, Elaine. As for her facial features, her eyes are a pale green, she has sharp eyebrows, and no dimples or freckles. Her skin tone is pale; this quality inherited throughout the family line.
