I haven't had chocolate in ages since I can't eat it now with my GERD.

I have GERD too, recently diagnosed but they give me Famotadine and I take Gaviscon daily so it's almost like I don't have it! I thought I was having a heart attack a few months ago, it scared the living daylights outta me.

What kind of effect does GERD have on you?
Is it the normal stomach acid reflux or is it the shortness of breath and hurting throat/ear?
Mine is the latter (having trouble breathing, hurting throat/ear).
I don't have the acid reflux part.
