ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | It wasn't too bad now. But nothing had started to happen yet. There was a lot of time for things to go wrong and Kim was nervous. This was the one game he really hadn't planned on attending, he'd avoided it during summer camp for good reason. However, Haley had managed to drag him into participating back at Hogwarts. Despite his nervousness, Kim did manage to spot the refreshments offered to those who had come to participate in the game. Maybe he'd grab something from over there. Perhaps it would calm his nerves. But for now, Kim was occupied on both sides by Sophia and Avery, so that would have to wait until later. Sophia's retort to Avery's words to her from before was........ Well, it was interesting... Kim didn't know what they were supposed to mean. Did she have something in particular in mind, or was he not getting it? As he decided to tease the two of them, Sophia jerked his arm down a little with a jealous glare and a few choice words. A faint smirk could be seen on his lips and he resisted the urge to pat her head to calm her down. Then again, it wasn't as if either of his arms were free. So the action was not doable right now, but maybe later on. "Mm." Kim murmured to Sophia, soothingly and hoped it would work on her. She was rather cute. Avery's response to his words made Kim smirk. "You think that counts? You didn't do it because you wanted to, you did it because I made you! If you want me to choose you, you'll have to do better than that! Come on, I know you thrive on 'friendly competitions'." He teased him, finding this amusing and wondered how Avery would respond to his words. Yes, he'd used Avery's own words from before. Still, Kim was curious as to who Avery would spin onto when the game started. When he spun onto himself, Kim had to hold back a laugh that threatened to spill from his lips. Attention was called to Nuisance as Alec spoke. Instructions were given and the game started, each participant given a chance to spin the bottle for a partner. As luck would have it, Kim ended up spinning onto Sophia of all people. He glanced over in the girl's direction and a faint smirk came to his lips. "So, I spun onto you, Sophia. What do you want from me?" Kim asked, curious to know what her response would be. He had a feeling he knew but at the same time she could surprise him too. Regardless, this would be rather interesting to see what would happen. Not just the action that was done but Sophia's reactions were what he wanted to check. Normally, he'd ask if she wanted a hug, but this time was different. It was around this time that someone approached him. Kim glanced over and a familiar face was seen. Even though they'd never met, Kim knew who she was. And not because of the bottle pointing at him, which Pea had probably spun a few seconds ago. This was the girl who'd received that lovely howler back during his first year. She'd probably attracted lots of attention from that particular incident. But even if she hadn't, Kim would have remembered the girl. Because she was connected to someone he knew. Another nuisance who followed him around nearly all of the time. A boy whose name wasn't Alec. Pea was sporting the same white hair as him and it looked good. Kim let his eyes flicker over her for a few seconds. "Nice to finally meet you, Pea." He said, wincing a little as she used his last name. Perhaps he should start signing up with a different last name, just to avoid it being tossed around so casually like this. He'd give it some thought later tonight and start using it the next time he had to sign up for anything. Sure, a lot of people already knew his last name now. But Kim hoped they wouldn't try to take advantage of him due to it. He didn't want history to repeat itself. Some might wonder why he'd consider adopting another last name so late in the game, which was understandable. But there were always new first years coming in all the time. Even if he couldn't get the higher years to call him by a different last name, he could get the new ones to do so. Hm, maybe he'd use the name he'd gone with when he'd first met Hana-chan. Aoki. It had been the name of one of his childhood friends and he had good memories of them. Kim Aoki. Yes, it had a nice ring to it. Perhaps he could spread this last name throughout the school and eventually it would stick. "I'd prefer if you called me by the name I've adopted lately though if possible. Kim Aoki." If he could get a lot of people to call him by this name, it would be better for him. It could also ensure that it was not as likely to cause him any trouble in the future, due to his family name. He'd run into a few issues during his first year with some people feeling more comfortable calling people by their last names. Or rather 'family' names. Kim wasn't comfortable with that and yet the same could be said for others. So this was the best possible solution. Change his last name to something he felt more comfortable with when it came to students. It worked for both sides. Students could call him by his last name if they felt more comfortable with that. And Kim wouldn't feel uncomfortable when they called him by his 'last name'. All he had to do was spread the word. Thus, why he'd said it out loud at a game like this. Hopefully, those who knew him would overhear him. And those who didn't know him would now know the new last name he'd taken. Of course, when it came to school related things his legal name would remain the same. For grades and the yearbook. But in general, Kim intended on spreading the word about his new last name. To eradicate his real last name from the memories of as many people as possible. The poor boy was very paranoid about history repeating itself, but who could blame him for thinking so? After all, if people approached you wanting to make powerful connections because of your family name, hid that behind fake words of saying they wanted to be your friend, and then betrayed you when they realized you wouldn't ask your parents to hook their family up, wouldn't you be paranoid it could happen again? By adopting a different last name and getting people to know you by that name, it would potentially save you a lot of heartbreak and maybe let you live a good life. Of course, for homework, yearbook and dueling his last name would have to be his legal one. But for everything else it would work. As Pea moved forward, it became clear that her intent was to kiss him. "You can kiss my cheek if you wish." Kim told her, giving the girl permission. No one would get his lips though, although there were two exceptions to this. One, he'd accept it from Rabbit, if Rabbit decided to join the game. And two, there was a slight chance he'd consider doing it with one other person. Perhaps not right now, but at some point in time. The fact that he was considering it at all was a surprise. Not only to him but probably to her too, if she could have read his thoughts. Once more, Kim wondered whether it was such a good idea to participate. Going up to Colin, Bailey mentioned that she though he might be into another Ravenclaw. She did not mean Jarael, whom had been Colin’s first love (that she knew of)
Bailey had a feeling that Colon had feelings for Clair. Bailey loved watching things like this unravel, and could wait to see what happened!
He blushed, but didn’t say anything against a kiss, so Bailey leaned in and have him a quick peck on the lips. Smiling at him, she turned and went back to her seat.
As the game progresses, Bailey was thinking that the bottle would never land on her again, until it did. Clair was the one who spun it, and when Clair approached her and asked for a hug for a fellow Ravenclaw, Bailey was more than happy to do that. Leaning in bailey gave Clair a hug, and then leaned back. “You look great! I’m glad you came!” Bailey said, smiling so wide that her mouth began to hurt.
Debating saying something about Colin, Bailey restrained herself, figuring that meddling never helped anyone; she didn’t want to be the person who messed up what was happening between Colin and Clair.
Bailey did love playing match maker though, and she couldn’t wait to see what happened between them- fingers crossed that something did. Bailey only wanted the best for her friends

@Kim Sato @Sophia Nelson @Cassandra Ironwoods @Lily Blaze @Avery ChenWhile Kim was busy with greetings and conversation, Haley calmly glanced around the room before they would finally make their way to take their seats. "Thanks! I guess at some point I just got used to the last name and stopped thinking of it as special or nice." Replied Haley with a smile at Sophia's comment, pondering it for a moment. Before she sat down she looked at the boy introducing himself, "Hey Avery, the pleasure is all mine!" replied Haley to the words of greeting from one of Kim's friends.
Once Haley had sat down with Kim and all his entourage, it wasn't long before the game started and Haley was able to get an organised overview of those present. It wasn't long before she spotted a familiar face and a broad smile formed on Haley's lips. Just as they turned the bottle and pointed it funnily enough at Haley she laughed heartily. "Luck is on your side." She winked at her friend. Haley started laughing louder now at Cash's command and raised her hands innocently. "Take it easy, I'll do it!" she replied laughing, quickly standing up and taking Cash into a bone crushing hug.
Haley had known Cash for a while now and she knew that they didn't often show feelings openly and it would probably soon become awkward for them at a certain point, but Haley took no notice in that regard. Them was a good friend whom she had taken to her heart and accordingly she deserved a warm hug a lá Haley.
"It's good to see you again!" she giggled to Cash as the two hugged before she broke away from them again and went back to her seat.
It wasn't long before it was Haley's turn to spin the bottle and so she did the same as her predecessors and spun the bottle with a flourish, waiting patiently for it to come to a stop. The neck of the bottle pointed to a girl unknown to Haley and she smiled at her. "Hey there!" the redhead greeted the unknown girl and walked up to her. "You wanna hug? Or maybe just a handshake? What ever you prefer." Haley would leave it open to her which she preferred. Depending on which she chose, Haley would act and then sit back down in her seat.Action: Hugging Cash and waiting for Lily to decide

Katherine would find herself a little late to the party as his friend group got to smooching before she ever could but fear not as there was certainly more time and more smooches to go around. Katherine would be joining the game this round
When spinning the bottle Colin McCoire and being introduced to him options... Colin seemed to have a mental break. It was quite unclear whether he had actually agreed to play the game at all or happened upon it. No judgement, however, someone hadn't quite explained the rules to him with his claims of winning something. Poor Athena McClenin had to endure all this, at least she would be able to be the one to let him know that you couldn't win this game and he would not receive a prize. Well, if she wanted to that is. Grumbles about how long the boy was taking could be heard throughout the circle
Rita Su spun the bottle and landed on Harper Jordan. Focusing on introductions Rita must have believed a handshake is key. But key in what? A newfound romance or fostered friendship?
Alec Mason would take his time spinning the bottle and land on Piérre Marchonné. It seemed he preferred to butter up his romantic partners before he got down to business. Piérre accepted Alec's offer of a kiss... but at what cost?
Sophia Neson happened to land on the earlier mentioned boy(Alec Mason) and would sweetly ask Alec for a hug. She wasn't looking to get down to kissing anytime soon.
Cassandra Ironwoods spins the bottle and lands on Haley Rose. Threatening that they would be angered if they didn't receive a hug from Haley, it was a joke of course. However even a a jokey threat held truth and one had to wander was behind their's.
Pea Elena Fowl spins the bottle and lands on Kim Sato. Pea thought the game was stupid. Finding out what the game was a little too late she felt she had lost her chance to quit. Pea wanted to get right into it and would tell Kim so. She had some guts, going for a kiss unlike most.
Lily Blaze spins the bottle and lands on Avery Chen. She was another person not particularly thrilled by the situation in which she'd been put in and walked over to Avery Chen seeking to get this over as quick as possible.
Avery Chen spins the bottle and lands on Avery Chen. Huh that doesn't seem quite right. It was strange to see a person land on themselves. How would they kiss themselves? Luckily after didn't have too. His spin provided a good laugh for all those involved in the circle. He respun and landed on Clair Fernandez who he would be forward with and offer a peck on the cheek.
Piérre Marchonné spins the bottle and lands on Cassandra Ironwoods. Piérre was jovial player in the game and took his turn singing a tune as he spun the bottle. Fine with either option of a kiss or a hug, though he preferred a kiss which if accepted would be on the forehead.
It was an unusual sight to see, Opeila Winters arriving and showing up the join the game. Hopefully she was ready for whatever the night may entail.

“Alright, it is Athena, again. What is she doing this evening? I saw her spinning the table, and it landed on me. Then she does not seem to pay attention to me and seems to instead focus on her things. Was she disappointed that our mutual friend Cara is removed from the game? Now I spun the bottle, and it landed on her. There is definitely something going on between me and her.” Rita admitted to herself that she was a bit frustrated when the bottle paired herself and Athena together again, "Anyway, I do not want to let one of my few best friends down. Let me just walk close to her and attempt to hug her." She walked closer to Athena and appeared to speak politely to sound friendly to Athena, although she was indeed a bit frustrated when she was paired with the same person again, "Hi, Athena. How is your day? What are you doing this evening? Are you disappointed that Cara left the game? Would you mind if I give you a friendly little hug? It won`t hurt, and I hope it won`t ruin your night." After speaking with Athena, she noticed that her former mentor, Cassandra, has spun the bottle and it landed on her. She knew there are rumors about Cassandra being the naughty girl and liking to play planks on others, but how would she treat her former mentee? "Let me see what Cassandra would do to me later this evening. Would she give me a hug? Or she will play a plank on me? I am expecting a friendly hug again, actually, anything is acceptable to me, as long as it is friendly. Let me see what she will do. Besides, let me keep an eye on the drama this evening while viewing this beautiful night sky." Rita thought as she sat on her comfy blanket and continue to enjoy the somewhat peaceful night.

It was Rita’s turn to spin the bottle. Athena had spun onto her the last round, but she had not so politely frozen up and then maybe ran away. It wasn't Rita’s fault, it was Athena’s stomach’s. She had eaten one too many pastries and in the process has ended up throwing up a little ways away. She had returned and given Rita a weak smile, though that could easily be replaced with disgust, because wow was she disgusted with her behavior. And what had come out of her mouth minutes earlier. She had stayed there, watching, observing. Finally Rita spun and…landed on her. If she believed in gods, she could have said the gods put them together. But instead she thought, the fates had put them together. Something really bad, or really good was going to happen. She didn’t know which, but she knew one. She walked into the ring, staring Rita down, tempting her to make a move. A kiss was out of the question, they were friends for goodness sake. A hug seemed a little, what’s the word—touchy? Still Athena went in for a hug and was nervous to see Rita’s reaction to her move. She and Rita were friends, but they weren’t good friends.@Rita Su

The slight smirk on Kim's lips irritated Sophia, though she knew she had no right to feel annoyed that he wasn't just going for it. After all, this was her chance. Her biggest objective since summer ended. She had the opportunity to kiss a boy. Not just any boy, either. Kim! Her Kim. He was teasing her with his little response, asking her what she wanted from him. What she wanted from him was simple. She wanted to kiss him and prove that she wasn't a sinner, once and for all.
A distant thought tunneled its way into her head. Was it really fair of her to kiss him just to prove her straightness? Kim was so, so important to her. Could she really ask him to kiss her just to settle her guilt from the summer?
Reluctantly, Sophia muttered an excuse that sounded believable, given her Catholic background.
"B-boys are supposed to decide that, Kim. Not girls.
She gave him a quick hug, pulling away with a faint pinkness to her cheeks. She couldn't taint their first kiss like that. If she was going to kiss Kim, it had to be a real kiss with feeling. Not some pathetic excuse to prove she wasn't attracted to girls.
She returned wordlessly to her seat, watching as Colin - who she was quickly realizing was quite the lady's man, apparently - shared a kiss with some girl Sophia didn't know, and the boy looked to be quite overwhelmed by the whole thing. First 'Eyes of Sky,' then Clair, now this? She'd have to invest in a spray bottle at this rate. Wait, wasn't that a thing for cats? Surely it would work on her werewolf friend too, right? Oh well. A good question, for another time.
Then Kim - the same Kim she'd just refused to kiss because of her crummy morality - was approached by a, frankly, beautiful girl from Slytherin. The girl leaned in to kiss Kim, and Sophia should have felt jealous. She really should have. She didn't feel too terribly bad about, though. She knew Kim, and after the whole Gem incident, she didn't find herself getting jealous over Kim anymore.
She pushed the thoughts back into the deepest corners of her mind, giving the bottle a good, strong spin. When it finally settled, she felt relief. It landed on one of the safest options: a girl who was friends with Kim. Haley.
Soph walked over to Haley, thankful for the interruption from her butchered interaction with Kim.
"Uhm, is a hug okay with you?" she asked with a small smile.

As the game started to unfold within their very eyes, Cash lost the appeal of what so great about this game. Sometimes, their cousin - Ronnie - is more a mudblood muggle-borns than a pureblood that he is. Cash did not know what Ronnie saw in this game. Sure the game will involve all sorts of affection and it was not up to the green eyes alley but it was too late to back down now.
Cash then saw the next person that spun the bottle which is Alec. Alec then stood up and walked across the circle towards Piérre. Mason then attempts to move a piece of Piérre's hair out of his face and tuck it behind his ear. Cash watch it with rapted attention. And when Alec said he loved Piérre's hair, there a pang of hurt crossed their heart.
The affection that Alec give to Piérre was so tender like the other Gryffindor is his lover or something. Cash swallows hard as they see the soft touch between the Lions. Sure, Alec and Cash had some history between them but they never saw Alec could be that gentle towards others. As the pang of hurt intensifies, the Cuban descent wonders if what they feel is brewing jealousy.
The Quidditch player shakes their head at the silly feeling that they felt at the moment. The young Ironwoods did not do jealousy. Not now and definitely they will not start ever. Alec then asked Piérre if he could kiss the other boy and it seems Piérre was not that mind at all. Cash needed to pick up their jaw when both of the boys locked their lips for a brief moment.
It seems there are new things they do not know and learn about Alec. As the boy pulled back, Cash felt the same pang of hurt again. Stupd feelings! There is no way I am jealous of them they thought to themselves. Alec and Cash were never a serious thing despite the betrothal arrangement that happened between the fourth year three years ago.
Cash took a deep breath to calm the confusing feelings that reside in their heart. Within two years period of the betrothal between Alec and Cash; although Cash never loved Alec as a lover does, the young socialite cared enough about the other boy even though they did not show it blatantly. Then their reverie broke by Haley's voice entering their hearing sense.
Cash let out a small laugh as Haley innocently raised her hands. And when Haley stood up and gave the fourth year a bone-crushing hug, the Beater was not ready for such a force. "Oof!"They lost their balance and toppled over taking Haley along with them. Cash and Haley quickly corrected their position.
"I share the same sentiment."The green eyes smiled up to the red-haired girl. Cash did not dare to look Katherine in her eyes since Cash a bit going soft towards the Lioness. They broke away and with a parting pat in the back both of them returned to their sitting position respectively. Then a familiar face shows up. "Good to see you here, Pei"They greet their dorm mate and fellow Prefect.
Cash did not make a fussed about whether Spin the Bottle was up on Opeila's alley or not. "Move! make some room for her"Cash expressed to whoever seated not to far from the young Ironwoods not caring if they sounded rude or not. Some rounds later, it was Piérre's turn to spin the bottle. Cash watched the empty butterbeer for quite some time until the bottle landed on them.
Cash groaned internally. Piérre then asked whether Cash wanted a hug or a kiss. With the question Piérre slings their way, Cash stiffens at the thought. They contemplated for a bit. "A kiss, maybe?"They answered unsurely. The Gryffindor boy then asked for Cash's name. Cash was ready to retort with their trademark sarcasm but they held their tongue.
"Ironwoods,"They replied shortly. Their last name was good enough for Piérre since the Beater did not know the other boy at all. At Cash's answer to Piérre's question, the other boy then gently holds Cash's head in his hands. At the touch, Cash stiffen a bit but they pushed themselves to relax. Physical touch was not their forte.
When Piérre holds Cash's head in his hands, the green eyes can feel their heart beat erratically. It was not Cash who had a sudden crush on the other boy, no, it was because of the lack of warmth that they received from their parents. And when Piérre pecked Cash's forehead, they let out a deep breath.

When the next round rolled in, Cash waited for their turn, Finally, it was their turn to spin the bottle. Cash deliberately spins the bottle with a little bit of force. The bottle spun for quite a while then finally stop at a bespectacled girl that they helped a year ago by showing her around and telling her the ins and out of the castle.

Rita was just admiring the beautiful night sky when Cassandra approached her, appearing to lift her left hand to give her a fist. Rita understood Cassandra felt awkward hugging and kissing a person they are not familiar with and thought a friendly fist in the hand might be a suitable way to avoid drama at the first sight. "Alright, I will accept that bump in the fist. That is quite friendly. No need to kiss or hug someone at the first sight. When I meet Harper for the first time, I also felt a bit awkward kissing or hugging her, so instead, I just attempted to shake hands with her." After thinking to herself for a few seconds, Rita also raised her fist and had a fist bump with Cassandra. A normal thing to do at the first sight. After bumping with Cassandra, Rita left them and continued to lay on her comfy blanket to admire the peaceful night sky while casually looking around to see what happened later this evening by the great lake. "I hope I can see some further drama later this evening, let me wait here at the great lake and see what happened next. I hope there is some new drama and gossip happening later this evening, which gives me something to chat with between lessons or at other activities.

Kim spun again and it pointed directly at a familiar face. A very familiar one. A grin came to his lips. It was the girl that everyone thought he was dating lately because they spent so much time together. "Well, this will fan some rumors, won't it?" He said to Bailey with a smirk. The white haired boy leaned forward to whisper something into Bailey's ear. "What do you want me to do to you?" Kim asked, finding this whole thing quite amusing. The bottle seemed to know what it was doing, as it seemed to be the voice of all the students at Hogwarts. Maybe they should put on some fanservice for them. "I'm up for anything."
