Cat Party! all are welcome!

Sitting reading her book, letting Twinkle roam around the enclosure, Bailey sat up when she heard a voice.
Looking up, Bailey saw a girl, I think her name is Lily? stepping over the picket fence.
The girl, Lily confirmed this saying thay her name was Lily, and that her Ferrit was Frisbee. well… hopefully Frisbee won’t mind all the cats
“No it’s not a private party. This is the first year I’ve brought Twinkle to Hogwarts, I only got her last year, and I figured she could use some friends! And I though maybe, just maybe, I would get some new friends as well! Im glad you came- did you see the posters? I made them over the summer break while I was in Poland. How was your summer?
Did you get to go to summer camp?”
Realizing that she was bombarding Lily with information and questions, Bailey blushed and said “Sorry- I ramble on and on when I get excited. I’m just happy someone came! And I love your dress!”
Smiling at the younger girl, Bailey took a sip of her lemonade. Realizing that she should ask Lily if she wanted a drink or a snack, Bailey said “I have a flask of lemonade, and some glasses if you want some, and some pet snacks I got from the Magical Menagerie of Frisbee wants some. And there are some cookies I made at home and brought for this, if you want one. There are peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip and a few other types!”

“Ahh that’s ok. Maybe they’ll work and some other people will come! That would be nice!!!”
Bailey said, talking about the posters she had made to advertise the Party.
“I’m glad you had a good summer. I didn’t go to summer camp either- I went to Poland to visit my family instead. Well, my extended family, on my mums side.”
As Bailey was talking to Lily, another girl walked up. “Hello! This is the cat party- welcome! My name is Bailey, and this is my cat, Twinkle! And you are..?”
Realizing that Lily had spoken at the same time she had, Bailey tried again.
“Oh.. sorry. This is the cat party! And welcome, my name is Bailey- Bailey Glade. Did Lily say your name was EmmaLee? That’s a beautiful name! And I love your outfit!”
EmmaLee was wearing a pretty dark blue sundress, black tights, and dark blue sandals. They were stunning in her, and the younger girls pigtails were so cute!!
“And I love your hair/ it’s adorable!!! Your entire outfit is stunning!!!”
Smiling, Bailey petted Twinkle and waited for EmmaLee and her cat to settle in.
“Also feel free to help yourself to the lemonade - I have a flask of it and some glasses if you want some, and some pet snacks I got from the Magical Menagerie of Frisbee wants some. And there are some cookies I made at home and brought for this, if you want one. There are peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip and a few other types!!”

@Lily Blaze and Bailey were having a very nice conversation when @Rita Su and @EmmaLee LeDames showed up. They were chatting about their summers when @Clair Fernandez showed up.
Now there was a Slytherin, two Hufflepuffs and two Ravenclaws.
“We we’re just discussing our summers Claire you are not late, don’t worry! How was your summer? Sorry we haven’t caught up- I’ve been so busy. How is the school year treating you?”
Smiling, Bailey wondered if @Colin McCoire would also come- he and Clair seemed to have something going on.
Smiling, she thought aww I hope this works out for Colin he deserves it and Claire is amazing- I want to see this come into fruition. I’ll just have my happiness watching my friends have their romances, since I seemed doomed in that area of life.
Sighing, Bailey cheered herself up with a cookie, hoping no one else noticed her mood shift.
Smiling, Bailey asked “Sp for how long have you guys had your pet’s? And how old are they? Do y’all have other pets at home? I have a few, some family pets. We have two dogs, and then my family in Poland lives on a farm and they have some horses, and cows and other cattle and livestock. I love helping with them!”

Attire: Usual weekend kit: Slytherin pride, neck ring, kilt, no shoes. Nothing fancy!

It had been a long few days for Colin. His first Change of the school year was yesterday, and he was still feeling the effects. After leaving the wolf house, Colin felt a keen need to run and play, to work off his pent up energy. To that end, he ran all the way down to the lake and then all the way up to high meadow and the stone outcrop where he watched the Sun rise over the mountains.

Still a little bleary from the night before, his thoughts turned, as they often did, to a girl named Clair. His mind was full of the events of the first couple weeks of school --- the Slytherin initiation, the shenanigans at the Ravenclaw table, his prank with ∏érre, and whoa! Don't forget his first kiss! More like his first five kisses! He'd never forget Athena --- she was his first real kiss. So many things had happened in just the last few days that he felt hot and overwhelmed. He needed to cool off a bit, so he ran back down to the lake. Shucking off his kilt and shirt, he jumped into the loch and paddled about in the cool shallow waters. He didn't stay in long, just long enough to cool off.

Colin decided to take a short nap, and wrapping his kilt around him, he climbed up into a tree. It was his favourite. It was the one where he and Bailey and Jarael had fed the baby birdies last year. There was a really comfortable spot where the trunk divided and he settled in, dreaming of Clair and Bailey. And then Colin awoke. He wasn't dreaming after all! He was simply hearing their voices --- Wait! Colin sat up straight and listened. Yep! He heard their voices, and several others, too!

Wondering what was going on, Colin leaned out beyond the broad trunk of the tree and could see that there was huge blanket spread on the grass below the tree. He saw some kind of fence was up all around it and there were plates full of sweets and drinks and --- were those cats!? Now this was interesting. He wondered why there were cats down there! He recognised Kiwi, Clair's cat, which means --- thankfully! --- he wasn't dreaming about her voice. She was really here, somewhere! He looked all around, trying to see her, but his vision was blocked.

He saw that Emma and Rita were there, and the LilyTwins. Oh! This must be Bailey's cat party! he thought. He'd forgotten all about that. Then he forgot all about the party again when he caught sight of Clair's long brown hair. Colin's face lit up with delight. "OWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" he howled down from above. "CLAAIIRR!! You're here! I'm here too --- oop!" Colin almost slipped in his haste to climb down. He had his shirt clamped in his teeth as he descended, and leapt the last few feet to the ground.

His hair was still dripping a little and as he went over to the blanket, he wrestled his shirt back on and buttoned it up. "Hey, Bailey! Rita, LilyTwins, Emma!" he greeted everyone there, but his eyes were on Clair and he smiled. He also blushed. Very deeply. "Um." He ran his fingers through his hair. There were leaves in it from the tree he'd been in. "Hi Clair! I'm happy to see you here. Like really! And Kiwi too of course! What brings you he ---?" Colin! Don't be stupid! he scolded himself. "Oh! Um, cat party, right! Um! Er. Forget I asked that! I---I'm just happy to see you --- oof --- I said that already, didn't I?"
