It was of no use. No matter how much she pummeled his backside with her fists, or screamed insults, the brick wall ignored her. He ruined her game, and he didn't even care. Instead, he was sitting around failing to cast spells. Did he even know how much time had passed? Sofia half expected to hear the winners being called out while the 'champion' indolently waved his wand around like a kid who just found a neat stick. Was this seriously the best Durmstrang could do? She doubted it.

Well, he said he would catch up with Cielle, but that was definitely not actually happening. Even though his muscles were his greatest attribute, pushing the vines aside didn't seem to weild any benefit. A few others were able to fly through, but the vines had been an obstacle that really leveled the playing field. Supposedly this was the way it was meant to be? Yefim knew fate was tied to him, and that whatever happened was preordained, but it seemed weird that fate wanted him to not fly today. Flying was fun! Well, maybe he wasn't meant to show off his abilities too soon.

However, the vines began to loosen around him, and as he looked up he saw Mik, his hero, with his wand out. Yefim was happy enough to see him that he didn't care what else was going on. Realizing Mik was covered in what looked like painful acid, Yefim tried bringing out his own wand to try and spare him, but his arms were still too tangled to properly cast. ”Scourgify!” He tried anyway, but it was nothing. Was he not supposed to clean Mik either? What was up with fate today?

It was just her as the only person for Durmstrang now. Cielle was slightly unnerved at this, knowing that things kind of rested on her now, but she brushed aside her sudden fears very quickly and leaned forward, determined to win this for Durmstrang. She zoomed through the fields, glad to have a break from the obstacles. When she realised that the Beauxbatons boy was getting ahead, she swore loudly and extensively, hating life thoroughly. No one could probably hear her anyway, she was the only one here now.

Reducio When attempting to use the return to broom action, this is a free action (meaning both users can make a normal action) the rider and ONE passenger (if there are multiple sharing the broom, it would cost both of their actions to return them to their broom also) can retrieve a single broom.

Reducio This broom can carry multiple people. When someone uses the catch option to rescue a falling teammate, they can catch one additional teammate in a given round. If the user has the ability Catch then a user can catch an indefinite number of teammates in a round, but for each person they catch after the first there is a stacking 20% auto-failure chance.

Reducio In the role of Seeker, if an opponent attempts to Bludger or Blatch you, there is a 20% chance that you veer out of the way the last second and another enemy player at RANDOM is targeted instead. The Mondelez boy seemed to having quite a bit of luck in the distance he has traveled. So far, aside from the acid he could feel continuously eating at his clothes (TRAGIC), everything else was smooth-sailing.

The unexpected lull in the excitement allowed Kheanu to think about which seamstress he had to go through to salvage any part of his outfit today—though he was not very optimistic.

Henrik's eyes widened as he came up on the obstacle ahead. A large wooden forest lay before him, and it became very clear they were meant to be going through it rather than around. Oh how badly he wished to simply fly above the treetops. Though the dark maw of the woods waited expectantly waiting for him to go in. It went as well as he had expected. Ricocheting from one tree to the next. The forest would be filled with the sounds of crashing and lost curses as the boy forced his way forward. Once on the other side, Henrik could not help the loud sigh of relief that came forward.

Mikael flew forward his gaze widening slightly as he saw the entangled mess before him. His eyes quickly caught the familiar form of Yefim stuck within the vines and unable to escape. With quick haste, the boy ripped out his wand from his pocket. It seemed almost impossible for something like Yefim to be hindered by such a small thing. It must be that girl who was riding with Yefim that had dragged him down so. It was the only thing that made sense. Mikael pointed his wand at the vines his eyes narrowed with intense hatred. The vines seemed to taunt him with things he did not comprehend. Something that was at the tip of his tongue, but he refused to open his mouth. "DIFFINDO!" he would call out. The vines tore away breaking apart at their seams. Mikael flew forward turning his gaze slightly towards Yefim to make sure he was alright before carrying onward.

With the other school's team now being officially in the lead, the Durmstrang boy had no one to blame but the other students of his own team. And of course the organizers of this track and the impossible challenges thrown at them. Because after all it could not have been his own doing. When the team had still been under his lead, they at least had a shot at winning and now it was falling apart. He did not want to care as it was just a childish game, but this was an embarrassment. Had he been playing against Nicholas that certainly would not have looked good. He hoped the kid was not watching just to mock him about it another time.

Cassie struggled against the vines again, wishing they'd just give up and let her go free. But they didn't. As hard as she tried to free herself from their clutches, she just couldn't do it. In despair, she watched people carry on past her and the others stuck where they were, wishing she could join them.

Chiaki continued to curse and struggle against the vines as they further wrapped around her legs. Seeing people slowly break free, when she was still stuck, it began to anger her more and more. She pulled at her wand and aimed to cast at whoever flew by next, but they'd already shot past by the time they were ready.

"Agh!" She yelled out. "Why!"
