As Bubba told his story about leaving a guinea pig in his teacher’s desk, Serena laughed. “That is hilarious! Thank you for sharing that with me.”
After she finished speaking with Bubba, Serena heard someone say her name. “Yes, that’s me! Nice to meet you!” She said with a smile.
After the girl asked her question, Serena thought for a moment. Her worst grade… Ah, yes, she remembered now!
“Okay, so this one time in my first year, I remembered that the Transfiguration professor mentioned that there would be a short test during the next class, so I studied the Transfiguration textbook super hard because it’s one of my harder subjects, and I wanted to do well on it, you know? Well, it turns out that I had somehow mixed up which class the test was in. It wasn’t Transfiguration that we had a test in; it was Charms! So I took the test as best I could without having studied at all. I ended up with a D. Ugh, I was so mad at myself! Anyway, moral of the story, make sure you write down all of your assignments or ask a friend if you’re unsure. At least I can laugh about it now.” She explained with a chuckle.
As Serena finished her story, it seemed time for the next round. She walked back to the cannon and let another piece of paper fall into her hands. Stephen Schwartz, dare. As the fourth year looked around, she noticed a boy getting super into the theme of summer camp by talking like a pirate. Could that be him? Serena decided to find out.
“Hey, are you Stephen? I’m Serena!” Serena introduced herself.
“So…you’ve picked dare… Hmm…” Serena thought for a second about what she could give for a dare. “Oh, I know! I dare you to keep your eyes closed for the next round!”

reena got her next name. A boy named.. leo was it? She looked up and glanced next to her, then behind her. She began to walk around, determined to find the boy before someone dared her first. She didnt know what sort of dare she would get but she didnt want anything distracting her from giving a good question. "Leo?" She called, looking at people as she did. "Leonardo?" She pushed through people with mumbled "excuse me"s until she found the boy she was looking for.
"Leonardo. Hey. I was beginning to think you didn't exist." She let out a breath of relief. " so you chose truth... boring... uhhhh. Who is someone you are friends with now but used to really hate? Thats all Ive got." She shrugged. Could be better, she wasnt the best with ideas. Once he answered, she nodded and left.
She walked around, unsure where to walk. A little bit from her were two boys singing their hearts out until one of them called her name. She stated until she realized that he probably needed to give her a dare. She headed towards him and waited politely for them to finish their song. "I didnt take you for a popstar, but ok." Her words were a joke but her tone was serious. In a teasing way. Gee, maybe she shouldnt have teased him because his dare made her... freeze.
"Fine. But it sure isn't you" she stuck her tongue out and wiggled her fingers before climbing on top of a trunk. Her ankle tilted and she wobbled before she regained her footing. She looked around at the people, taking her time. She finally found someone. "Oy!! GIRL WITH THE BROWN CURLY HAIR AND THE CORAL COLORED TANK TOP! YEAH YOU!" Here goes nothing. "I like you!!" That felt weird. She didn't get crushes on people, but the girl was admittedly 'hot'. "I like you! You have really pretty hair!" One more time. This felt weird. "I like you and I think you are really nice looking! And attractive and other flattering things! " she made sure the girl saw her. To add a little spice, reena waved at the girl and made a phone symbol with her pinky and thumb. She mouthed 'call me' knowing full well that that wasnt possible in this world. Then reena got down and put her name for another dare.

Interacting With: @Esmeray Rosslyn | Mentioning: @Kim Sato | Dialogue Hex: #143314The boundary between rationality and righteousness was but a windlestraw scraping of a stick against sand, and fortunately for the many prepubescent (though Leonard found himself doubting that whenever encountering a specific string of Slytherin purebloods) monstrosities an assortment of arcane academies had the misfortune to call students of their schools, Leonard Oaksworth was just the tidal wave to sweep away all such lines to his own benefit. Indeed, his moral compass was something more of a wonky gramophone stuck on the Modern Major-General’s Song and inadvisedly used to create a remix to the point where the turntable turned everywhere but the right direction. Oddly for someone who prided himself on wisdom and intelligence, he was fine with witnessing the consequences of this gramophone’s cacophony when it deafened others but considered it a sixteenth decisive battle of the world when so much as a strand of his hair became a tad uncooperative. How wonderful it was to be different, and how wonderful it was to be indifferent to the plights he’d caused port and starboard by merely existing.
Standing before the gangplank of doom and facing a fate of floaty sharks devouring his face, Leonard believed he should’ve been a little less wonky in his resolve to win or sign up at all. He reviewed the terms of his dare while tying the blindfold around his–truly thick, for who else would manage to give away his greatest trauma in a children’s game so quickly–head, each disappearing dot of colour becoming a bullet in his list. He didn’t have to jump high enough to touch a seagull, and he didn’t have to jump hard enough to splash the Great Lake’s squid all the way to London. All he needed to do was jump twenty times continuously, which could be defined by common sense as jumping twenty times without a second’s pause in between. The only: falling in the water. He didn’t want to fall in the water, but he also needed to be truthful with himself with his track record of physical activity. No matter. He’d count it off, and he’d have his mandatory fun in the form of creating a bad sea shanty of his own.
Once, twice, thrice, and it passed with ease. Four times, five and six, and he wasn’t shaken by the cooler sea breeze. Seven, eight and nine, he heard Sato begin the song; one he’d perhaps heard in passing in matter akin to its vocalist’s nomen-cog. Then again, he considered with ten, eleven, and twelve, it could’ve been on purpose. Thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, and he figured that the dare he’d been given was the, and yes this was absolutely a rhyme, worse-st. Sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, and he was certain that no matter how successful he was, his tendons were already a wreck. At nineteen he nearly stumbled, a slip of his shoe against some conveniently indiscernible slime, but he wasn’t going to stop or take his blindfold off to check.
The twentieth hop came and went, and so Leonard scrambled off to safe, dry planks without hesitation. Kim Sato may have been the pirate king, as proclaimed by the surprisingly good performance that was still going on, somehow, but Leonard Oaksworth hadn’t become a bilge-sucking piece of Elasmobranchii edibility, and by the bloody hells that awaited him if he failed his very first dare did he consider that enough.
“Brilliant performance, Sato!” He hoped his call would be heard over the crowd and the ongoing tune, though the sun’s pounding rays made for a newly obscured view of the ship in its entirety. He stepped down from the gangplank with a hand over his adjusting eyes and the other attempting to remove and tie the blindfold to his wrist, a task he only succeeded after a temporary retreat to the shadowed space underneath the crow’s nest. There were many faces to the boy/polygonic mirror of everything wrong with society, and in spite of their differences in temperament, none of them could withstand temperatures above the perpetual drizzle that pattered at the window of his craven cavern of a bedroom.
The greatest rests always came to the rudest ends, and Leonard’s came when the cannon fired once more. Sprinting off towards the paper, he’d received a name even more unfamiliar than Kim’s: Esmeray Rosslyn. It sounded like a proper witchy one, really, and he had half a mind to dare her to read his fortune with a mystical orb. He supposed it was fair that he wouldn’t get the chance to, though, considering that he’d already completed his first year of Divination classes and that there probably weren’t any crystal balls on board. Again, then, would he have to sprint towards anyone mentioning the name Esmeray and its various diminutives, and despite it taking a minute at most, it very well could’ve been a century to his jellied legs.
“And Esme would be short for Esmeray Rosslyn, I hope?” He jumped into the conversation a little more than a moment after Esme had stopped speaking, offering a sheepish smile towards the unknown girl who’d just received a dare from her. The paper slips must’ve wanted a warmup round for him, and he was very much unwilling to make another round of running around the ship like a headless chicken if he was wrong. Headless parrot, perhaps? “Apologies for intruding, but the cannon’s wills are far above mine. It’s a pretty name, I must say.”
“So, Miss Rosslyn, what is a secret opinion you’ve had about your family or a friend for however long? It can be nice, a little mean, a lot mean, whichever is true.” The Slytherin knew there were riskier questions to ask, more interesting potential answers to receive. Still, his brain was sloshing around from the impromptu exercise, and he didn’t believe being the catalyst to a stranger’s estrangement from family or friends would be satisfying without some context to savour it in. He waited for a response patiently, leaning against and wondering who the cannon might’ve assigned to him.Actions: Completing his dare, giving Esme her truth.

The older girl had a pretty answer to Della's truth question, although Serena didn't seem at all embarrassed about her story. Yet, there was a bit of wisdom in her answer. "That's good advice, thanks!" Della almost never wrote down her assignments—she had bought a planner, but often found herself doodling in it. So far that had not yet led her astray, but she noted Serena's story as something to think about when preparing for the new school year.
Della waited for her truth, but no one approached. As if on cue, the cannon shot something toward her. It was a question she was meant to answer. Had she been scolded in front of a friend? Oh god this was embarrassing. But in the spirit of the game, she mustered that Gryffindor courage, and loudly said, "I've never been scolded in front of any friends because well I didn't really have a lot of friends growing up to be scolded in front of." Great, she sounded pathetic.
Red-faced, she rushed back to the cannon to hopefully be distracted by her next target. Serena Towers. A truth and a dare. Della made a small gulp. This Serena was even older than the other Serena. Should she think of something safe so that the older girl wouldn't hate her? Or would Della seem too timid, especially after telling the whole group she basically had no friends growing up?
"Hi, Serena. I have to give you a truth and a dare. For the truth, who, in your opinion, is the most attractive person at school? And I dare you to do an impression of someone else here."

Truth or Dare — Group THREE
MODERATION POST—Round IIIStephen "Rattlebones" Schwartz was really getting into the game, adopting a full pirate-y persona that surely would have made the organizer smile. Calling upon Bubba McGarry, he would summon the mate for the next challenge. Should he choose to accept it of course. The task was a complicated one, but Bubba was the sort to step up to the place and did so with such gusto as to redefine teh meaning of fun. Honestly, if the dare had been a complicated one, Bubba had turned it over into something else entirely, chipping away the rough stone until it shined a diamond worthy of plunder.
Fully gussied up, he would approach six at random, breaking into an absolutely FABULOUS rendition of "I feel pretty", then god-modded the entire playerbase that would have served as the audience as having given back the dubloons (shame on you, but I'll allow it this once because nobody in their right mind should have been disappointed by that performance). Next up was the bull cannon riding complete with country song and lasso. Again, apparently some of the PCs present had given him a "yee-haw", so feel free to claim to have done so, and all gave their dubloons back (that or he never actually handed them out in the first place and was only claiming this to be the case). Finally, part three required the walking through the crowded deck with a tankard on his head. Alas. THE STAGGER. 17 of 18 dentists had approved, but that last one was the kicker. Whew! Well done to Bubba, though. And kudos to the Rattlebones for the creativity on the dare.
Crewmembers and Lackeys, this is how you do a dare.
Bubba McGarry, having worked up quite the thirst, would down about an aquarium worth of goodness knows what that he had passed off as pirate grog. After which, Kim Sato would become the outlet for any creative ideas that may have formed during the span of his own dare accomplishments. A bit of prep work would be needed (having learned that not everyone knew the lyrics to everything, naturally), but the task would be the duetting of a sea shanty. No doubt horribly unmelodic, but fun nonetheless. Kim would be only too accepting of the dare, singing through the shanty with apparent relative ease despite the lack of familiarity. Well, perhaps the shanty was a simple one and easy to pick up.
Partway through, however, it would seem Kim would get bored, diverting his attention and interrupting the song while Bubba yet sung, to flag down Reena Delgado and explain to her the rather elaborate dare she was to complete. To stand on a chest, and declare thrice and by either name or description who she thought to be the most attractive on the boat. And then go back to singing, silently commenting on Bubba's voice. It was definitely Kim's imagination though. Bubba was a peach. Reena would comply (but not without a little snark to suggest the answer definitely wasn't Kim), hop to the chest and yell out the description of one Vivienne that she liked her, complete with a collection of compliments and accolades to her physical appearance.
Kamila Yavlinsky had found herself in conversation once again with Stephen who seemed to be bordering on smitten with the girl. At least in-so-far as looks were concerned. Her attitude was a problem for him, though, and while introductions would be shared with pleasantry, he would be quick to correct the fact that she hadn't actually completed her dare as intended. To her credit, Kamila would quickly remedy that, walking right off the end of the gangplank, and returning dripping wet from the ladder up the side of the ship.
Vivienne Beaumont was more than satisfied with the eventual show of her daree, trilling a pretty peel of laughter before offering her compliments. She wouldn't be able to talk long, however, soon drawn by the canon's decree to give Della Barfield a dare. In theme with the recent antics, she would pick another piratey task, daring the girl to speak like a member of the crew for the rest of the round.
Serena Towers had been given what had appeared to be a simply question, what she would do if there were no consequences. Her answer would be a bit deeper than the sea of the pitch, however. To hold a secret meant withholding the truth. But to tell a secret often meant inflicting harm of some sort or betraying the trust of another. So to be able to tell the full truth without the consequence of doing so... that had been her answer. From there, the canon would direct her to Felix Kolbeck. Of course... it wasn't that he had wanted both a truth and a dare, but rather than in the absence of picking one, he would be cursed with both. Serena's efforts would not go unnoticed, her question eliciting some juicy information should he answer. Her dare was even better, building upon the question, and having him serenade the subject of his answer complete with boldly romantic dance or gestures.
@Felix Kolbeck (]mention]Winnie Harper[/mention]'s iNPC) failed to post this round and has been removed from the game going forward.
Esmeray Rosslyn had gotten (yet another) question to relay her most embarrassing story. It seemed children really thought pajamas were embarrassing. A curious sentiment given the much adored pajama days that many early year schools would host on special occasions. But hers at least had the merit of it being a lie, and her being the only one dressed as such. She would soon be seeking out Kamila Yablinksy, however, the latter freshly doused from her previous dare. Already keen for a new one, she would now have to keep one eye closed for a full round, until such time as she completed her next dare. Good thing she hadn't picked truth going forward.
Fresh from the task of sharing about the time she'd gotten her worst grade (getting a D in a Charms quiz after having accidentally studying Transfig... embarrassing) Serena Bowen would be on the hunt for Stephen Schwartz. It was as though she and Esme were conspiring, each having targeted one of the chattery pair of Stephen and Kamila, and each daring them to keep their eyes closed until the end of the next round. Maybe the two would have to hold hands so as not to get lost.
Leonard Oaksworth had somehow written a novel about hopping as well as a very horrendously timed and paced self-proclaimed "rhyming" sea shanty without stopping. Really, truly dreadful the whole thing was. A preoccupied audience and not a single applause. If only someone could hear the thoughts, to have shoved him overboard they really ought. But never mind that, dare complete he would scramble down to offer his own applause to Kim before seeking Esmeray Rosslyn, keen to carry out the will of the all-mighty cannon. The question he would have for her was an intriguing one: What is a secret opinion she has had about her family or a friend?
Reena Delgado had gotten the very same Leonard Oaksworth. What fun. If only he really hadn't existed, though, then perhaps the whole mess later in the month would be avoided. Alas, he very much did, his boring Holmes-loving face having picked boring Truths. (But were they really boring when you could finally get down to the nitty-gritty details about Marnard?) Reena's question would be equally uncompelling even by her own standards, asking him who he was friends with now that he used to hate. Stay tuned for his answer.
And finally, Della Barfield would admit to Serena Bowen that growing up, there really hadn't been anyone in front of whom to be scolded. She hadn't really had friends. Well, that would clearly have to change, and there was no shortage of students at the school in search of close friendships. Soon, she would find herself tasked with giving both a Truth and a Dare to the other Serena, Serena Towers (another who had failed to indicate a choice). Coincidentally, hers wouldn't be far off from the one Serena had given Felix: to declare who she thought to be the most attractive person at the school, and then to do an impression of someone else present on the ship.
@Lillian Ward, @Annie Morgan, and @Felix Kolbeck did not post this round and thus are removed from the game. As a result, several individuals would fail to receive a challenge, but the cannon would be quick to rectify this. BANG. BANG. Twice the canon would fire, sending crumpled balls of paper into the crowded deck, both to receive a dare from the enchanted device.
Serena Bowen: "You are dared to allow someone in the group to draw something on your face."
Vivienne Beaumont: "You are dared to confess to the person that you have a crush on. If they are not on this boat, then shout so that everyone can hear the name of the person you have a crush on."

Truth or Dare — Group THREE

Stephen chuckled as the true meaning of what Kamila had been dared to do seeped into her sphere of understanding. She had honestly taken the dare at face value, not understanding it was not to be taken literally. It struck him, not for the first time since being at camp, that there was a lot to learn about other cultures and communication and assumptions. As he watched her puzzle out the meaning of her dare, he was pleasantly surprised when she didn't hesitate for a second about walking over to the plank and straight off into water. All right, Kamila. This girl appreciates adventure.
He moved quickly to the side and watched as she made her splash into the magicked depths surrounding their ship. As he had earlier predicted, she was a strong swimmer, but she still had to swim half way around the ship to get back to the stairs to climb back aboard. "If you meet up with a shark, Kamila, just punch it in the nose! Do not try to ride it," he called out to her helpfully, and laughed.
Stephen stood in place, watching her go at a nice clip, while vaguely aware that Bubba was singing, somewhere, once again in the background. A smile lit across his face as he turned and saw Bubba belting out an unfamiliar tune with the kid Stephen had first approached on the ship -- the one who distanced himself. It did not surprise him when the boy shirked off Bubba's arm while they were singing, but the boy could definitely sing. And he apparently liked to do it which was even better.
As all this, and even more craziness was going on around him, Stephen was approached by a blonde girl. She was clearly an upperclassman and she had quite a cheerful disposition. She introduced herself as Serena and asked if he was Stephen. He squinted and cast a suspicious look her way. "Aye. I 'twas called such in me yuth, but now ye be addressin' Airship Capt. Rigel 'Rattlebones' Notleigh. Wot be yer bizness wit ol' "Rattlebones", me lov'ly? A dare, ye say? Ye wan' me to keep bot' me eyes closed fer this roun', eh?" Without even a moment's hesitation, Rattlebones swept his hat off and bowed in her direction, smiling broadly.
"Yer wish be me c'mmand, me lov'ly, but I be tellin' ye now, me shins an' me knees will lik'ly not be blessin' yer name at the end o' it. ARRRRGGGHHHH!"

Closing his eyes before Serena had even turned to leave, "Rattlebones" took a few steps to his left, with his hands waving back and forth in front of him, but he still managed to stumble over... well... who the hell knows what he stumbled over? Certainly not Stephen. He couldn't see a blasted thing.
Then a brilliant thought hit him. He unsheathed his prop cutlass from his cutlass belt and used it as a swerving or a tapping cane. As he moved slowly around the deck, just for the jolly roger of it all, he amused himself by calling out occasionally "Marco!" hoping, but never really expecting, to hear someone... anyone... bark out a "Polo!" in reply. As the blind was clearly not being led by the blind in this instance, good ol' Rattlebones tried to amuse himself. When he would walk into someone or bump into anyone, he would off-handedly say,"Tag! You're it!"
At one point his entrepreneurial self had him take up a space just near the the base of the steps leading to the helm. He placed his captain's hat right at his feet and dropped a few doubloons in it, just to prime the pump so to speak. Then he started playing a concertina he had felt around for... and found.... in the Captain's quarters. He placed his fingers in the straps and pressed the air button and started to play while singing (this was a very musically inclined pirate crew!)

He had completely zoned out the moment some punk kid ordered him to dress up like a complete idiot and sing about wanting it a certain way. He was so annoyed he forgot to make a comment about the name 'Bubba' (English wizards were weird). What the hell did that even mean? Was that some sort of muggle code he was too much of a pureblood to understand? He gave an over exaggerated eye-roll.
"You can't tell me to do two things, kid. That's not how the fucking game works." Wasn't it? Who knew. Whatever. "But I'll tell you what; since I'm such a great sport, I'll do it anyways, but I'm not climbing all the way up there. I'll do it here." He pushed past the kid, like the wonderful sport he was, to focus his attention on the chest of pirate clothing. Under normal circumstances he might have been a bit more reluctant to dress up like an idiot, but Arjan wasn't here, so who cared?
Felix tugged on the first brightly coloured coat that caught his eye, pairing it with a clashing skull hat. He pinned a toy parrot to his shoulder, and slid two fake hooks over his hands. Meh. Good enough. Positioning himself within the center of the ship, he cleared his throat to draw everyone's attention. "Attention all ye scally wags, I apparently wants it that way 'n no other way will do. This chanty be about nah gettin' it that way but wantin' it."
He stared at the piece of paper Bubba had given him... Before tearing it up into little pieces and deciding to wing it. Felix Kolbeck was a lot of things... A singer was definitely not one of them. Scales were long forgotten as he started to compose the song within his head. Unfortunately it came out as more of a rap... A poorly delivered one at that. It was tough enough to make up an entire song, so the pirate part failed to come through as well.
"I want it that way, not your way.
It's my way and today is the day.
I'd be happy to see you go away.
If you're brave enough stick around and play.
You thought you could beat me,
How could you when you lookin' so beastly?
You think you know me little wannabe?
Sit your ass down; you're about to get a degree.
There's only one way and it's mine;
So don't bother crossing that line.
Not my fault I was born to outshine.
Now go build me a fucking shrine."
He would have been cocky about his masterpiece, but unfortunately he ran into someone he knew. He was happy to see Serena, but less happy that she might have witnessed his attempt at song writing. "Oh-- Fuck. I forgot to write what I wanted." Was that how the damn cannon worked? Whatever. Surely Serena didn't plan on giving him something embarrassing--...
"What?" He could feel his face heating up at her question. Who did he like? Why was she asking? Was Arjan trying to figure out who his girlfriend was? Truthfully they had broken but, but he wasn't going to let him know it. Dammit, now he was just thinking about Arjan's stupid face. "NOT ARJAN." He stated rather bluntly, his face darkened further when he realized that made it seem like he did like Arjan.
"I m-mean... That... I... I LIKE..." He desperately looked around to try and find someone, anyone, to distract her from his sudden outburst. His options were limited. So, he did what any sane person would do; close his eyes and point to someone random.
Reducio
"That one!" When he opened his eyes he realized he was gesturing towards some guy who looked like he had sacrificed years of sleep to some sort of hair deity to ensure his perfectly coiffed curls did not fall out of place. Dear Merlin, did they not give him a mattress to sleep on? He looked a bit uptight too.
"Yep, that's the kind of man I like." He told his friend in a very believable, not at all strained tone of voice. He grabbed his pirate hat and tossed it aside, sighing as he walked directly up to the Slytherin. If he was currently talking to someone Felix would interrupt, he didn't give a shit. He bent down on one knee and tried to take Leonard's hand within his own. If the boy didn't pull away he would lean down to press his lips to the top of his hand. "Hey you, Sourpuss. I'm into guys who look like they're constantly in pain I guess. When this is all over come meet me by that one tent with a large image of a battle on the side."
He looked pointedly towards Serena, as if checking if this were up to her standards. Dusking his ripped jeans off he ripped off the pirate coat and tossed it over the boy's head. "Don't be late."
Note: Felix is now exiting the thread.

After he had finished singing his Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life for Me), Stephen heard a crusty barnacle of a brute begin yet another song. It was something about My Way.... was it going to be a Sinatra song? Not even close. It had the cadence and rhythm of rap. Rattlebones listened and then decided to try to accompany the poor bastard with his concertina. It clearly did not help the performance, but it certainly did not hurt it either.
When the pufferfish had completed his song, he professed his love to someone. The thing about having no use of one's eyes was true. Stephen was becoming more dependent on his other senses. What he could detect was that the one-time singer was less than sincere in his proposal of love to whomever. Even a blind man could see there was no love match there, but for his own, earlier effort to accompany the tone deaf, melody-dropping singer on his concertina, ol' Rattlebones took it on the chin as a piece of clothing blindsided him in the face. One of the mother of pearl buttons hit Stephen's tooth and an electric shock of sorts radiated from jaw bone up to, and out of, the top of his head. Grrrrrrrr
Stephen was about to tap his way over to the crusty barnacle to give him an accidentally on purpose whack of his cutlass cane, but the scurvy seadog benefited mightily from the cannon's roar, indicating that round to be over! When he heard the cannon roar, he knew his time to keep his eyes closed had passed. Looking around for Serena, he found her and gave her two thumbs up. Surely she would be pleased with his dare execution, he hoped.
Then Rattlebones looked down in his Captain's hat to see how much loot he had earned. He was heartily disappointed on a personal level to find that there were exactly no doubloons left, but on a pirate's level, he could respect the opportunistic thievery. "Wot a sorry lot ye all be, ye thievin' bags o' bones," he muttered as he turned to catch his crumpled piece of paper shot at him from the cannon.
Round 3
The paper told him he was looking for a girl named Kim. He approached any girls who were not Kamila, and none of them were Kim. Figuring they were probably finishing Round 2's dare somewhere in the water, he jumped up on the yardarm and yelled loudly for Kim Sato. "Kim Sato shuld meets me at the mainsail tuh r'ceive yer dare an' don ' keeps me waitin'! As the tide keeps risin' -- the 'arder yer dare be!!
When Kim showed up, Stephen was surprised to discover it was the boy he approached when they first came aboard. Excellent. And he had been Bubba's duet partner. Stephen changed tack and steered into the wind, changing his dare right there on 'X' marked the spot. He decided to offer a dare more suited to the fellow, at least he thought it would be more suited, more than his original idea anyway.
"Yer dare is tuh put on a fashion show, me 'earty. The gangplank wil' be yer runway, and ye are tuh n'rrate each ensemble. Nuthin' is tuh com' from the prop chests, but I wan' tuh see at least 3 diff'rnt outfits on yer sorry carcass, an' ye bett'r be ownin' it wit' att'tude. One wil' be a rum barrel, one wil' be sailcloth and ropes, and one ye kin su'prise me wit' o' yer own choosin'. ARRRGH. Hav' fun, matey!"

Stephen chooses Dare next round.

Truth or Dare — Group THREE

This was turning out to be an extremely disappointing event for Bubba. He'd given Mr. Burly his first dare, he'd been kind enough to write out the words, given him a recipe for a truly lovely time. It was a truly epic dare. And Ol' Mr. Burly just had to ruin it. First of all, he cursed him out just because he thought he was a giant badass. Someone should tell him that he was, in fact, just a giant douchebag. Come to think of it, given the opportunity Bubba would love to tell him himself. No doubt he'd be in for a maiming but it might be worth it. Some people were just no fun at all.
Kim had been a bit more fun. At least Kim had made the effort, and Kim was quite a good singer. Bubba had at least managed to have fun with that. Still, the great time Bubba had envisioned had really been diminished, nearly been completely ruined by the Durmstrang douchebag. Plus, after Stephen's trifecta mega-dare, Bubba was just absolutely exhausted. Still, Bubba had signed up to play the game, and play the game he would. As he walked up to the cannon, however, his heart simply wasn't in it anymore. The cannon began to spit out names and Bubba patiently waited his turn. Finally, the cannon spat his name out. Serena Towers. Bubba couldn't say he knew her but he was about to get to know her.
Bubba stepped toward the largest group of people and called out, "Serena Towers?" It took a couple of tries but he got her attention. As she turned to face him he just tried to come up with a dare, any dare, to give her. He sighed because he knew this one was going to be phoned in but he couldn't help it. Mr. Douchebag had damn near ruined his day.
"Serena," he began with a half smile, "I dare you... to run around the deck and pretend to be an airplane, while explaining to your fellow shipmates how airplanes stay up."

Truth or Dare — Group THREE
after her little show, reena thanked kim for the fun dare and headed to see the name of her victim for this round. When the cannon fired, she discovered she had to give someone named stephen a truth and a dare. Reena didnt even know that was possible, but at least there was a dare. The problem was, coming up with good questions was hard enough without trying to think of a good dare.
The gears in her mind turned as she searched for stephen, trying to think of some good things. By the time she found him, she only had one thing in mind. "hi, stephen right? Well I have to give you both sooo." She had the truth idea first. The paused for a second before continuing. "for the truth, what is the worst thing you'd do for a thousand galleons?" she didnt even know where this question came from, but as he thought to answer she had time to think about her dare idea.
"and for the dare- its not that great- but I dare you to" she paused for a dramatic effect and raised her eyebrows. "walk like a model for the rest of this round." she lifted her arms and did some half-hearted jazz hands.
She would watch him walk away after they spoke, then she woukd look around in case anyone was calling her name. She was starting to really enjoy this.
