A time-out was called as the other team pulled their Seeker and replaced him with Cash, a friend of Aly's and a person she knew fairly well from being partnered together in Herbology class. Aly waved to Cash with a friendly grin as they took the field, but as soon as the whistle blew to resume the game, her face hardened with determination and resolve. Having another pal on the opposing team did not mean that the captain of the Pygmy Puff Riot! was going to take it easy on the Mighty Ducks. No, that was not her plan at all!

Of course, the Ducks weren't going easy on the Riot, either, and before Aly knew it, there was Henry flying towards her with the Quaffle in his hand. "Hey, aren't you supposed to be guarding hoops, not scoring on them?" she shouted teasingly to her fellow third-year, moving skillfully to swat his thrown Quaffle at her with one hand. But she was getting cocky, and Aly watched helplessly as Henry's second Quaffle grab sailed right by the edge of her fingertips through one of her goal hoops. As he moved for a third scoring chance, Aly narrowed her eyes. Not in a billion years, Knight! And again, she swiftly swooped to kick the Quaffle away from the goal hoop. Maybe she was a halfway decent Keeper after all.

Catching the eyes of each of her teammates, Aly lowered her hand and did the appropriate hand signals to signify what to do next so that they would know what to do. She was used to following captains' signs, not doing them herself, but desperate friendlies called for desperate measures, and she was about ready to win this game.

The game was on pause as Dexter was swapped out with Cassandra Ironwoods. Another player who was on a quidditch team. She also played the position of beater. Once they where given the ok to resume the game, Quinn kicked off.

She saw George send a bulger sword the new seeker, She knew that she had to get revenge. Not just for Cassandra, but for the bulger that she took for Dexter and that near miss. As soon as she saw an opening she would take it. Sending one right at George. It hit! Not only did it hit, but it made George move forward a bit.

She was blind to what else was going on. When she heard Henry shout Cash, That was when she finally looked around. What did he mean? She saw her falling. Oh god! That must be scary, it would have to hurt quite a bit if she hit the ground. She put her hand to her mouth. Understand why Henry shouted.

She really didn't want to see whay would happen if she hit the ground. The joy that she had for landing a hit, was now gone.
On a brighter note, Mighty ducks where in the lead.

George looked back in surprise when Selwyn stopped the game abruptly. But it was only to replace the previous seeker with a Cassandra, whom she had never heard of before, or so she thought. To be honest, good for Dexter; the kid seemed out of focus from the beginning, but George couldn't be said to be particularly happy about the change. Playing against a team at a disadvantage was something she thought she was counting on until the end of the game, and even then they were trailing by ten points, despite Monica's extreme attempts to retake the Quaffle.
It wasn't that Monica was a bad chaser per se, but Knight had come up with the outstandingly brilliant idea of taking Reena's place for this round (by the way, why?!), and had to admit that the boy sure knew how to play. The Pygmy Puff Riot situation was becoming worrying.
Gritting her teeth, George's eyes moved unbidden to the new seeker... Well, why not? She'd just come in, no one would miss her if she went out. She batted the ball without calculating too much, aiming for the seeker's back, but though the bludger passed close, it didn't even graze her. Gia bit her lip. By the way, NO ONE had mentioned to her that Cash was a BEATER. Well, she'd have to figure it out from now on. She clenched her fists at Cassandra's words, but the fact that the girl seemed quite a bit older than her somehow inhibited her.
She looked away, not without anger, to meet Monica's eyes. Despite of she doing nothing, every word sank deep in her mind. Revenge, that was all she could think about. A quick idea made her eyes flick quickly back to Monica's. Yes, it seemed like she was thinking the same as her. The whole match was craving for a kickback. She gave a brief nod.
«Time to make things a little funnier,» thought George, seeing that the chaser was determined to cheat this time.
But she didn't have time to enjoy the moment, because at the precise instant she turned to see the (spectacular) foul on Cassandra, something hit George in the arm rather hard, causing her to move a little to the side. Of course she didn't even need to look. Root. She turned to direct a murderous glare in the direction of the beater. Someday soon she swore she was going to kill her.
The shout of the Mighty Ducks keeper, however, made her forget for an instant about the blow, which really hurt. A smile of triumph came across her face as the seeker fell off her broom.
"Come on, Ironwoods, hold on!" she shouted, her voice sounded worried but her faced drew a mocking grin. "At least put some effort on it!" she scoffed.

With one chaser running a penalty lap, Pygmy Puff Riot chose to rely on the talents of Aly Salinger. With her beautiful hair and winning smile, she seemed to be the best option to fill the role. As the quaffles were released, though, Reena Delgado would speed ahead, swooping two of the quaffles in one arm, leaving only one for Aly in their wake. Aly, as wonderful as their hair is, was not able to be in two places at once. Reina flew by the goals, effortlessly tossing the quaffles through two of the hoops. "Twenty to Mighty Ducks!"

It was another keeper versus keeper showdown. Henry seemed to be prepared this time, though, stretching out his body as much as he could to try and block any scoring attempts. After aiming for a possible gap in defenses, however, Aly's scoring attempt was swatted away.

Quinn Root dove after Cassandra Ironwoods, not willing to give up their new seeker so easily. Down, down, down they plummeted, before finally pulling Cash aboard their broom, and returning them to their own. June let out a sigh of relief. "Nice save, Root!"

George, with no such teammate to save, clearly had their sights set on other things. Those other things being Henry Knight. His stretching maneuver may have allowed him to block more easily, but it made him a lot more vulnerable to blunger attacks. Which he probably noticed as one slammed into his side after his save.

Monica opened her eyes... her shoulder throbbing. She could hear the whistle in the distance, looking down here eyes met with June's and she could see the disappointment on her face. Looking down, Monica could see the girl falling, why did she do that?
Now that her rage had subsided, the reality of her actions had taking there place in her head, she just knocked a girl off her broom after just joining the game!

Before she could do anything, Monica saw the girls teammate rushing to her aid, "Good" Thought Monica, "If she was falling, and no one would save her...." She pondered for a moment, would it have been against the rules for her to dive down to save the girl herself? Well, having already had a penalty lap, how much worse could it be if she took the time to insure another students safety.
Luckily she didn't have to worry about that. Though the opposing team was in fact her enemies right now, Monica could tell they were, for the most part, honouring. Maybe not in how they play, but at least in looking out for each other, which had to account for something.

With the crisis averted, Monica took her lap. Watching helplessly as the opposing team scored 2 more quaffles, "It's Okay Pygmy Puff Riots!! We might be down but not out!" She shouted from the outer part of the field, racing as much as possible to get through this lap, and get back into this game!

Taking another corner, she spotted Simon, searching for the Snitch. Wanting to call out an encouragement, but refraining, he needed all his concentration to find this. "That could be the just what we need to overtake this game."

As soon as her lap was over, she dove in and went straight for the quaffles. She glanced at the other chaser and glared, wondering where she even was. Whatever. Reena grabbed two quaffles and spotted someone else grabbing the third one. She ignored it and swooped to the rings seeing no one there. She shot both through and smirked. She raised a fist and raised her eyebrows up and down. She looked at the rest of the game and spotted the other chaser. What was she doing? How dare she try and cheat after reena just got caught. Disrespectful. And she even succeeded.
Reena called out in anger and shock as her team mate got hit. Thankfully someone saved them.

She let out a huff of relief and disapproval. Cash is such a good player, no way someone dared to try and get them out. She couldnt even tell which player was which on the other team. She just needed to stay on her broom, her team had other moves up their sleeves.

She shook away her thoughts and put her head back in the game.

Down but not out. Simon didn’t care so much about winning and was very much enjoying learning about this game if quidditch but he knew that winning might be important to some of his team mates so he would do his absolute very best. If he could just see that little golden ball in the air, if he could just see that snitch, he could capture it and get the win for his team. Otherwise, there was risk that the quaffed grabs and the toss through the hoops could wrack up a high score.

The sooner he found that snitch and hopefully caught it, the better. Eyes to the sky, he skimmed it. He would focus less on his opponents, less on his teammates, and just keep his direct focus on that little golden ball.

Where was it. He scanned the area and listened carefully, hoping he heard the fluttering of little wings from the ball, or caught a glint of a glare of the sun. The snitch was somewhere out there.

When one area seemed clear, he decided to go to another area on the pitch to try and catch sight or sound of it there, and then another.

Her teammates were doing fabulously - much better than Aly herself at this point, if she were being quite honest with herself. Twice more the opposing team had scored on her, ducks quashing pygmy puffs as though they were nothing beneath their webbed feet; Aly gritted her teeth and focused on her next action. She was going to be useful to this team she was captaining, Merlin curse it all! Other than sit here on her broom, give orders through hand signals, and get scored on, she'd done very little this match. Even her lame attempt at scoring had gone awry, saved by a Keeper with more skills than her.

But yet, her teammates were doing amazingly, considering her lack of leadership skills. Aly watched with a growing grin on her face as George's Bludger sank right into its intended target, and yelled out, "Nice hit, Rees!" Monica was just finishing up her penalty lap, and with Simon's keen eyes scanning the sky, suddenly Aly was confident again.

We got this. They got this. No, WE got this - Quidditch is a team sport, after all! Even when it's played with four players per team instead of seven... she thought to herself, gripping her broom as she moved to complete her next action.

The other thing that Cash hated about playing Quidditch? It was when they just stepped into the pitch and someone either bludgered them or in this case rammed into them hard. They were out before they even begin. Cash is an official Quidditch player therefore their competitive side is running deep and high within them.

As they fell from such great heights, the one that tried to bludgered them before, shouted their name and used the same words that the young socialite had just uttered to her as a mockery. Who does she think she is saying Cash's last name like she worth of it? With the tone was George using, Cash's blood boiled.

If only the Beater-turned-Seeker for this game could aim the iron ball towards someone, Cash will definitely bludgered or even backbeat George into oblivion. But alas, today Cash was not in their correct position but as a Seeker for today's game. The green eyes closed their eyes. The young Ironwoods then waited for their impending doom.

Where their back will collide with the hard green grass of the pitch but it never came. Then a voice that belonged to the acting referee said the name. Whoever this Root is, Cash was thankful for her. "Thank you,"Cash said as they landed on the back of her broom. As Root returns Cash to their broom, Cash plotting vengeance in their mind.

From the distance, they heard Henry cheer for each and every teammate of his own. "Considering you switch sports, H?"They asked the blue-eyed boy and sent out a playful smirk. "You are more fitting as a Cheerleader than a Duellist, mate!"They continued with their playful banter in French. Although it was fun to tease Henry day in and day out, they still need to put their head in the game.

"Where is that darn snitch?"They grumbled to themselves and to no one in particular. Turns out being a Seeker was not as easy as it looks or what Palmer made it out to be.
