MODERATION POST—Round II
Valentin Schnell would approach @Ambrose Dante, daring him to break an old clock on the wall and then try putting it back together. Apparently the dare would be just a little too daunting for Dante, though, and he would take his leave from the game. (Ambrose Dante did not post).

Charles Alluringwould ask Percival Gray a question, wondering who was the one person they would like to erase from their memory, never to have met them and never to meet them in future. The answer was given with little thought: Mathias.

And then kick things up a notch by daring his mate, Valentin, to wear a captain's hat with a parrot on his shoulder for the duration of the game. An easy dare, and one that Val would fulfill without hesitation before turning right back around and daring Charles to flirt with the cutest boy on the ship. While shirtless. The target: Sara Kohana.

Charles wouldn't be the only one to present Val with a dare. The canon had delivered Greta Fransson his name with the task to present him with a truth demanding question. What better an opportunity to ask about his one true heart's desire? She would get quite the dramatic explanation, too, as he ultimately admitted his desire for Greta's child-hood friend, Romeo. Scandaloso!

Louca Dufort asked Elizaveta Mikhailov to tell the truth about the worst rule-breaking thing that she had ever done.

Bloom Silverton would receive Elena Jangleton on her piece of paper, electing to ask the underclassman whether she would rather eat one week old sushi or extremely, like extremely, salty steak. With food poisoning promised in both cases, was there even a right answer?

Rita Su thought the game in the setting of the boat a fascinating idea and would receive Miles Thatcher as a target. The task: To pick a person he didn't know and tell them their first impression. Poor Greta would be the receipient of that dare, the American suavely praising the colour of her eyes. If only she could understand him. Fortunately Valentin would come to the rescue on that, while also translating the boy's follow-up statement that dared Greta to act like a cat until she was next approached for the following round.

Sara Kohana would receive Winnie Harper for a victim. Of all the dares he could have suggested, he commanded her to talk backwards for the rest of the night. If it did anything, it was to show how much Winnie struggled with it. Night the of rest the for backwards talk than rather... She would ultimately switch words every now and then, sounding more like Yoda than a successful fulfillment of the dare. Perhaps a bit of practice was in order.

Chiaki Hikoi would approach Sara Kohana as well, introducing herself properly for the first time, despite a shared school. A truth was in order, and she had just the question: if they had to ask anyone on the boat out, who would it be?

They would be approached shortly by an Elizaveta Mikhailov who seemed keen to try to prove herself to Charles. O, the angst of crossed lines and misplaced affection. Nevertheless, she would administer a simple question unto Chiaki, wanting to know the name of her stuffed animal. Bold to assume she had one.

Elena Jangleton would apparently also receive Bloom, the two in a unique position to exchange questions. While pondering the answer to Bloom's question, she would think of one to ask. In a moment of deepening her understanding of the girl, she would ask what sort of useless skill the girl would love to learn anyway.

Percival Gray wouldn't tarry after getting his question. Having drawn Louca Dufort, he was quick to seek the boy out, daring him with the night's first grotesque task. A dare to touch a dirty, chewed, discarded piece of gum plastered to the deck of the ship... with his tongue.

@Haven Bohannon was another who had failed to act. No doubt her distractible self had gotten lost on the way and she had departed on her own adventure to find the bubble fairies. Or had lost her wand. Or maybe was too busy sorting through the hats her mother had sent for all of her unfortunate tent-mates.

Unfortunately there would be those left without truths or dares to fulfill.

Rita Su was left without anything to answer, and that just wouldn't do. After a few minutes when it became clear there would be no one heading in the girl's direction, the canon would fire, one last canonball of a crumpled piece of paper colliding gently with the girl's shoulder. Unraveling it would read: "Tell the person nearest to you of your darkest fear."
THE CANON HAS FIRED!

"You have to choose one!" she joked, but shrugged thinking it was okay to have a third option. She was not competitive during this game, and just wanted to have a lot of fun with new and familiar peers.

A question from Elena was then asked to Bloom and she had no idea of what to reply with. Bloom never thought of herself filled with talent. She was actually talentless, which she and her boyfriend knew, which was why she was still so shocked to have been asked to join the Hogwarts Hexwizard team. She had no skill sets to bring to the table. But if she could have any useless skill in the world... "I would probably say creating music using crystal glasses," she answered, wondering if they were familiar with the muggle oddity of making music.

A new round was announced and Bloom was given a piece of paper with another name. Waving goodbye to Elena, she made her way to someone she had never met before. Realistically, she had no idea who to look for. "Who here is 'Low-ka'?" she asked, probably butchering the name. It was definitely someone from a different school, but she had no idea which school they belonged. to. "Low-ka?" she called out again, trying to find the person.

When she finally did find the person, she would give them a dare as what they had asked for. "I dare you to...," Bloom paused and had a sly smirk on her face. "dance a jig on top of the table for all to see!"

Whilst waiting for Sara's answer, another girl approached. Chiaki could only presume that they were here to give her a truth.

"What is, er, your name-I mean, what is the name of your- your stuffed animal?"

Chiaki blinked, raising an eyebrow at the person who had just asked the question. "My stuffed animal? Uhm, well, I do not use a stuffed animal no longer, but when I was a younger child, I had a stuffed cat that I named Yujin."

She wasn't about to admit that Yujin meant 'Friend' in Japanese. That would be embarrassing.

When the next round occurred, Chiaki grasped another parchment reading 'Elena Jangleton-dare'. Feeling a little more at ease, they tried to concoct a dare for the girl as they searched for her.

"Elena Jangleton? ...Elena?"

When she finally found her next target, she greeted them with a smile. "Hello! I presume you are Elena Jangleton, correct? I have a dare for you...or at least I think I do."

Hesitating a little, Chiaki decided to just come out with it and say it. "I dare you to walk over to whoever you find the most attractive here, and give them a...a...what's it called? Ah! A compliment."

It was Greta’s question that made Valentin realize what Charles needed next. Really, the captain and the chaser weren’t that different: it had taken them time to get to know so many people. Charles’s reaction, trying to get out of flirting with more people, was a dramatic reversal of the chaser’s previous direction. Was it, perhaps, because of the threat of hooking up with someone new that made Charles realize he wanted someone back in home territory? Of course Val and Charles had needed to meet various people on a basic level before, but now… now it was time to pick a direction and try things out on a deeper level. It was unfortunate to toy with the actually fascinating Mahou boy's heart, but then, the captain's choice had granted the Japanese boy a chance at Charles. For now, Sara would be the last to receive that boon, as Greta's question and Charles's panic had uncovered the 'X' on the treasure map where the captain thought the blonde should dig deeper. The two Durmstrang boys had no shortage of options now, but gutsy Charles would not have tried to back down on a dare if his heart weren’t already on reserve. After Valentin’s misplay, he would have to throw wind hard into the sails of Charles’s ship to get him home to… to...

Conveniently, the cannon fired Charles’s next dare request Valentin’s way. Destiny? Well, Valentin would play his hand one way or another.

“Karlchen,” resolved Valentin in German. “I want you to push this Japanese kid into the sea.” The white seeker smiled, stroking the plumage of the electric blue stuffed macaw on his shoulder. “I dare you.” The official phrase came only as an afterthought. “And then, as my personal dare to you when we get back home… I dare you to tell Johannes what you really think of him.”

Pushing his hat more firmly onto his head, Valentin climbed up a nearby rope ladder to get a better strategic position on the scene to come. Glancing over his shoulder at the sea with his keen amethyst eyes, Valentin felt his own heart calling him back home to someone, too.

"I understand Haven for forgetting to ask me a question, maybe she is distracted by the variety of items on the boat. That is normal as I also often forget things, but she should try to remember it next time," Rita thought as she read the notice posted by Evelynn on the wall, "Thankfully the cannon has posted a question for me, tell the person nearest to you your darkest fear. I do not know many people on the boat, and I feels wired to tell a random person my darkest fear, so I will just say it out loud. I hope that doesn't feel wired." After Rita thought about this, she decided to say her darkest fear out loud, "My darkest fear is being haunted by ghosts or other dangerous creatures in Hogwarts when I come back to my dorm at midnight after astronomy classes. Even though I can use Lumos to light up the roads, walking alone at night is still quite terrifying for a twelve-year-old girl, especially considering the variety of magical creatures on campus." After telling Evelynn her darkest fear, Rita has to think of a way to dare Elizaveta. "Mikhailov seems to be a Russian name, hope she understands English." Rita thought, "Maybe daring her to stare at me for 30 seconds without changing her facial expression." Rita asked someone else on the boat who Elizaveta is and after finding the right girl, Rita said to her, "Elizaveta, I dare you to stare at me for 30 seconds and do not change your facial expression!"

Oooookkkkkaaaaaaayyyyyy this was definitely too much staring. It seemed that now it wasn’t only him that was staring at Sara, but his close friend as well? Stares this intent could only mean one thing….

Hurriedly, Sara combed his hair with his hand. Doesn’t seem like anything weird is sticking out of it. How he thought anything could even stick to his already incredibly short hair was beyond him. As kind as they may be to give Sara friendly stares, the Japanese boy could only hold eye contact for so long before erupting into a faint shade of red. Far from cute, he looked more furious than anything. Ah the downfalls of an intimidating face. All this sharing was just making him shy.

Thankfully, a savior arrived and immediately distracted Sara. Not a cat, but a young student. She was unfamiliar, but as there aren’t a lot of students in Mahoutokoro joining the Hogwarts trip he could as least identify that they were from the same school. That, and they started talking in fluent Japanese. A language Sara was far more comfortable in talking. Once she double-confirmed his name, Sara merely nodded.

Perhaps it was because of that helped him feel more at ease. The earlier friendly stares shared between him and the other kids appear to drained him much more than he thought. It could also be Chiaki’s gentle aura that did the trick. Whatever it was, his shyness overload just now almost seemed like a dream.

That was until Chiaki asked her truth question, he almost immediately turned his face beet red once again. Of all things that could’ve been asked! The only reason why he hasn’t started sputtering in shock was that she asked in Japanese, a language perhaps only a few or less knew on this boat. Even if he told the truth, the whole group wouldn’t be aware of his answer. With that in mind, he was incredibly tempted to thank Chiaki. Young kids are so bold these days, asking questions like this.

Er- aahhh ahah.. Well you see..” He scratched the back of his neck in attempt to ease his nerves. Would it suffice to say that he never asked anyone out, therefore he wouldn’t know? He was already having such a difficult time gaining friends, much less attracting romantic interests. It just seemed like a faraway future hidden at the back of his mind, barely noticeable. Could he just say ‘ people like you ‘ and get it over with? He didn’t want to scare Chiaki when she’s been so nice to him. Pick another random face and end it already? He didn’t want to look like he was only after looks. Lie? The guilt was too much. He placed his thinking cap on, which means he looked incredibly angry right now, but that wasn’t much different from his usual expression. So perhaps Chiaki wouldn’t misunderstand (but honestly feel free to).

He scanned the boat for other possible answers. Would Winnie be alright with it? He recalled she didn’t understand Japanese. And it would not be all that bad to date Winnie. Asking someone out was basically like spending more time with them, right? Also, she has a cat. And a cat handkerchief. He guessed she also was kinda cute. Even cuter when her cat was around.

Before he could conclude his answer, Mister Intense Staring from earlier approached Sara and Chiaki. With the same amount of (or possibly worse) staring. This person and his friend earlier enjoy staring at other people, do they? While his staring made Sara conscious once more, he concluded it was another act of being… extremely friendly.@Henry Knight as their INPC @Charles Alluring
This next thing is only for if Charles is shirtless, because I’m not entirely sure he is, but if he is, then do take this action into account [I can confirm that he is not shirtless, yet-]

Reducio
And this time he was…shirtless.

Why.Is.He.Shirtless.

Sara wanted to smack himself when he realized he had been staring for a bit too long. Instead, his shoulders tensed and he looked away with even more eagerness to avoid eye contact. This wasn’t a regular sight for Sara to see. While he could admit this person took incredible care of their body, Sara was certainly worried more than anything. Was it too hot? Did they need some water? What if he passed out from the heat? It took every self-control for Sara not to place his hand on the stranger's forehead to check if he was alright. Instead, he merely looked away trying to ease his worry of him.
Sara was about to greet him with another charming smile until Mister Intense Staring spoke. And later, Sara would wish he never did.

"I couldn't help but stare, for you see I thought I saw a cherry blossom but then realized it was the mere flower from one,"

“...cherry blossoms…f l o w e s?” the words rolled out of Sara’s tongue like they were the vilest thing he ever said. The boy’s flirty sentence wasn’t as impactful as his choice of words. Just like Sara losing rationale when cats are involved, the same could be said for the mere mention of flowers of any kind. Just not in a positive way. (feel free to react to his Terrible Presence or not)

By instinct he glared at the boy who approached him, seriously considering if Sara assumed his kind personality too early. It didn’t take a genius to know that Sara was not pleased in the slightest, nor was he swooned. He wouldn’t take off his glare and he wouldn’t take the suspicious boy’s hand. What if he just sprung out flowers from his back seemed he liked to say it so much.

Irrationality would’ve continued to take over Sara if the suspicious boy stopped his sentence from there. Alluring introduced himself and gazed at Sara as soft as the words he spoke. In fact, he almost forgot his generally kind greeting early, despite the mention of cursed flowers. Sara sighed, releasing tension from his shoulders. “Charles…Alluring” He tried to pronounce slowly, attempting to match with Alurring’s soft tone. However, remnants of his earlier glare were still present. Whether Alluring thought it was on purpose or that's just Sara's face is all up to him.

Apologies. I am not a fan of… cherry blossoms” the word has such a negative connotation that the idea that it implied something nice flew right over his head.

This was probably the time to say introduce himself as well, but the earlier mention of flowers only made him incredibly hesitant to share his name. He feared just the mention of his name would make him look ready to kill once again. Kohana Sara. Such a cursed name. “ You may uh…call me…senpai”. Clearly, he didn’t have the bullsh*tting skills to come up with a fake name on the spot. Senpai would have to do for now. Though from his height, Sara doubted he was older than the boy. Whatever it is, he really did not want to reveal his name right now. " O-or if you don't want to, that is okay. You can uh... call me..whatever you want?" The more he spoke, the more unsure he sounded. If he were more confident, he definitely would've been high-key flirting back right now. Sara was blissfully unaware until mentioned, as his main concern right now is Alluring took offence to Sara not sharing his name.

Well since they were exchanging names now, it wouldn't be too bad to get to know Alluring's friend, right? His nerves were kicking in and he wouldn't be able to come up with a coherent sentence for Valentin, but he did send the boy a questioning glance (which ultimately looked like a glare, unfortunately). And with this he silently asked who the other boy was, not wanting to leave him out of this conversation. Or um- introduction. Whatever this was. @Aida Mòrsgor-Ama Ellwood as their INPC @Valentine Schnell

A decision he would regret later on when Alluring complimented his looks and asked if he could have a moment of Sara’s time. With soft red tinges across his cheeks, it seemed that he was shyer than anything right now. It was not every day his face was complimented. And alluring’s face was good enough to distract Sara from his earlier frustrations. Forgive forget.

He was feeling a lot of emotions with this boy, wasn't he? First admiration, then worry(if he was shirtless), then distaste, then slightly swooned. All these mood swings were making him slightly dizzy. “Su-sure” he mumbled out, avoiding eye contact. “Is there anything you need?” If it’s about anything except for flowers, Sara wouldn’t mind allowing himself to feel more comfortable with the boy. Flower lover or not, he might be friendly after all. [If he was shirtless: Perhaps he really did need some water?]
His face immediately brightened when Winnie recalled who he was (an extra grin towards Pumpkin's little wave though. Pumpkin also received a small wave back), but it faltered only slightly when he heard she still called him with honorifics. Honorifics weren’t as important here as they were in Japan. But still, being called that by one he considered quite a good friend stings just a bit. Perhaps did Winnie not see him as he saw her? A good friend? Perhaps he was going a bit too fast. They only had met once after all, and this would be their second meeting. Sara’s positive opinions on people who liked cats as much as he did cloud his judgment. Perhaps there were times when Winnie showed that she was uncomfortable with him but he didn’t notice. @Winnie Harper

While he was frankly disappointed, he stared into Pumpkin’s eyes and found resolution once more. Yea, that’s right. There were plenty of times for them to be better friends. Now that he was aware of what she thought of him, he could work harder in gaining her trust.

"Pick this round... What did you...? Dare or Truth?"

Oh, I’m a bit too scared to pick Dare. I-I think I will be choosing more truths today. Though some of the questions so far is a bit…” he glanced warily at Chiako whom truth he still owed. Truthfully, he wished he could prolong the suspense a bit longer, but they both had to move on.

"This works, does it?"

He sniffled laughter at her attempt at reversing words. “That was wonderful, Winnie” he complimented, relievedthat she didn't hate him. “Would you be okay doing that for the rest of the night?”

Ah, Chiaki. Sorry, It was difficult for me to give you the truth before.” He apologized sheepishly in Japanese. With much haste, he quickly glanced between Winnie and Alluring. Both seemed to be the most logical answers to Chiaki’s question. But between someone incredibly attractive who called Sara a flower and someone who has a cat in her arms, it was an obvious choice to make.

In response to his truth, he bent down to Chiaki’s height, eager to keep his truth just between them. And if Chiaki allowed it, he would whisper to her ear. “ But it will be the red-haired girl with the cute cat in her arms. M-must I say her name o-or can I be spared..?” Despite his using his lowest volume, others could definitely guess what he was sharing. Face almost as red as tomatoes, he looked apologetically at Winnie and Pumpkin. Language barriers were always tricky. Normally he was the first one to translate whenever it was needed, but this time would be an exception. This little truth would possibly be best if it was never known. @Pax Zang as their INPC @Chiaki Hiroi
But that was until the game went on and he received the 2nd person he was supposed to play this game with. Another dare? Sara sighed, rather tempted to steal another dare idea from another pair. He clearly was not fit for fun dares. And to make it worst, this time it was someone he was not familiar with. Rita Su. A lovely name he didn’t recognize. Nor did he recognize a face. He grimaced, the urge to run obvious. Striking up a conversation with a stranger was going to take a lot of mental energy for the boy. @Rita Su

But alas, he needed to find her anyway. Coughing just a bit, he looked around warily. “ U-um. Rita Su? A-anyone here know a Rita Su?” He wanted to jump off the ship now. His instincts were saying run run run but his feet remain planted on the deck. Frankly, he looked like a lost Doberman. Anyone kind enough to offer help would gain immediate gratification from him. But there was no way he was going to people one by one to find out who Rita Su is.

If anything, all he’s doing is refraining from asking Winnie if he could hug Pumpkin instead. Cuddling with a cute cat-like Pumpkin sounds so tempting to the nervous boy right now. In fact, thinking about Pumpkin already helped slightly. Suddenly he found it easier to breathe. All hail Pumpkin.

The raised eyebrow of the other girl hinted that her question hadn't been the greatest, much to Eliza's disappointment. Wait, it wasn't normal to have a stuffed animal at 13? Embarrassed by the thought of the dozen of stuffed animals at home and the 5 that were waiting on her bunkbed back in the tent, she quickly looked down at the ground after Chiaki mentioned having one as a younger child. "That is a nice name," she replied before rushing back to the little place she had claimed as her own for the duration of the game.

Trying to make up her mind about hiding her stuffed animals when she came back from the game or keeping them on her bed as all her tent mates had probably already seen them, she looked up in surprise as she heard her name, slightly mispronounced, spoken by a boy not far away from her. "Here," she said doubtfully as she raised her hand. As she tried to think of the answer to the first-round question, her eyes wandered across the deck noticing Charles looking at her. The attention of the boy raised the stacks for her to answer the question with the coolest answer she could think of while also telling the truth.

Once she remembered the worst rule-breaking she had done, she straightened her back and got ready to tell the story. "I was," she started before quietly counting in English in her head. "Seven years old," she showed 7 fingers to make sure the others understood what age she meant in case she had said the wrong number. "I stole the quidditch things of my brother and then I tried to put fire on it," she nodded proudly. Eliza still remembered the events well, including how angry her father had been at her once he found out. At the time, it had seemed like the right thing to do because whenever her brother came home from playing quidditch he had a lot of bruises and injuries, something she hated. On top of that, all the time they usually spend playing together before he went off to Durmstrang, he had spent training for quidditch so the only thing she could do was get rid of his quidditch stuff. It hadn't been very successful, as she was caught in the middle of the act by her youngest brother when she failed to light the match and asked him for help.

Sometime after she had innocently answered the question that had been given to her, the next round started and a new batch of paper flew in the student's directions. On her piece stood the name of Miles Thatcher and the by him selected option, truth, but before she could look for the students she was approached by the girl who had her name. The dare she was given, staring at the other for 30 seconds and not changing her facial expression, didn't sound hard and the idea of Charles watching her every move made her determined to complete the dare. It was unsure whether she was even important enough to Charles that he paid attention to him but she had to prove to him she was worthy, even if he didn't look at her she had to succeed. "You count?," she asked before starting her 30 seconds by staring at the girl. With every second she came closer to completing the dare but it also became harder for her to keep her eyes open and not change her expression. Once the 30 seconds had passed she would sight in relief and close her eyes for a couple of seconds. "I did it!" she said with a big grin.

With the piece of paper in her hand, she would search the group for the next person she had to ask a question hoping she could come up with a better one this time. Once she found the boy, whom she recognized as one of the champions, she opened the piece of paper again to double-check what he had picked. "Hello," she said with a charming little smile, trying to make a good impression with the Hexwizard champion. From her father she had learned it was important to make the right connections with the right people and for their age group, Miles was a very important man as a champion of such a big event. "You got truth," she thought about a good question for a bit, "Who is your favourite person and who is your least favourite person in the world?" she said asking two questions as one.

The dare, the teen closed his eyes and walked in a circle only to open his eyes at the Mahoutokoro boy. How faith aligns.... unless the blonde purposely planned the spin.

Charles would offer a soft smile to the Mahoutokoro lad, a nod to the sound of his name. He would be lying if he didn't say he liked the sound of his own name. The teen would offer a light head bow to the lad then the words... he didn't like cherry blossoms? The teen didn't lose focus, keeping to his flow as he spoke"well, then your beauty is that of a shining star with the affection of a kitten." The classic half smile, his flirting was a tad corny but he didn't know anything about this lad so he had to wing it.

Senpai. The teen offered a smile, a half bow as he spoke" an honor it is to stand in your presence, Senpai," a quick wink to the lad. The teen had been running out of material, how to continue... how to continue... the question, the teen would reach for Sara hand (if he permits) to gove him a soft kiss on the hand as he spoke"only to tell you that your the most beautiful person I have seen today." A nod, stepping back to the sound of the canon frie as he spoke"Shall we meet again, Senpai."

The teen took the path to the canon, taking the paper that exploded at him. A look over. Greta Fransson. Dare. Smiling, dares entered his mind as he signed himself up for the next round. Deciding for truth next round, why not mix things up for a round.

The teen walked back to his accompanies, Valentin and Greta. Blue eyes studied the American champion. The words of flirt from him moments ago directed to the Valkyrie. The teen studied him for his intentions although he had a slight need to shove the lad overboard, eyes turning back to his friends. Hand out for his clothes back from Valentin who went the opposite way from him, running along the ship before Charles would feel his clothes returned to him. Pulling on his shirt, followed by his jacket.

The teen held the paper out for the two to see as he spoke"it seems I have gotten the faerie, this time," a soft smile as he tossed the paper away. Mind mauling over dares. The teen knew the dare had to he perfect for the Valkyrie, herself. A fun yet courageous dare, one that would have Valkyrie written all over it. Only thing is, Charles is the worst when it comes to thinking... just take a look at his grades.

"Faerie, I dare you to," Charles started, drumming over possible dares through his mind for a moment when his eyes met with the younger Durmstrang. Elizaveta Mikhailov. A idea sparked in the blonde's mind, one of wickedness as he spoke" I dare you to pretend to be that girl's best friend and convince her to walk the plank," a half smile to the girl, a step back to lean aginest the side of the ship when his ears caught Valentin's dare.

"What-" Charles spoke, cuaght off-guard. The teen looked back at the Mahoutokoro lad, a seemingly strange presence about him. Something felt off about the lad yet it interest him, drawn him in instead of pushing him away. He couldn't shove him off the the ship.... could he? The blonde looked back to Valentin, not fully believing that the Frost Captain got his name.

What did he mean by tell Johannes what he reslly thought of him? The blonde drifted his eyes back to the Mahoutokoro, crossing his arms over his chest. He didn't feel for Johannes.... did he? The teen shook back his hair, reminding himself he couldn't as he spoke" tell Johannes how I think of him? Pretty sure he already knows, no secrets there," the blonde was lying a bit but he couldn't admit to a crush. Especially not one he may have on a team mate.

The teen nodded toward the Mahoutokoro, looking back at Valentin as he spoke"shove the Mahoutokoro lad into the sea? Now, this I'll enjoy," the blonde knew that the american who flirted with Greta wasn't Japanese nor a Mahoutokoro student but he was sure Valentin wouldn't mind the interpretation of his dare.

The teen pushed himself off the side of the ship, walking toward Miles Thatcher who seemed to be speaking with Elizaveta now. The blonde perpared his stance, hands held in front as he shoved it backwards and off of the ship. Simon feel free to roll if Charles succeeds/fail or rp Miles falling into the sea

The blonde would smile at his handy work, walking back over to Valentin and Greta. Retaking his spot, leaning aginest the side of the ship. Brushing back a few strands of hair, eyes flickering to Valentin as he spoke"who do you think is the hottest guy here, Frost?"

".. your beater?" Greta blinked, flashing Allu a look of confusion that became quickly laced with mischief.

So there was somebody. And, naturally, mention of a beater suggested that it had to be somebody on the quidditch team. Or... perhaps someone on a quidditch team. Or was. Alright, so that really didn't narrow it down much at all, except to say that there was someone that he pined after, and by the time her gaze flicked back to Nif, they were positively burning with anxious anticipation, the grin that slowly spread across her face suggesting that he assuredly would not be going anywhere until he had completely divulged in full.

"Who!" The demand accompanied a giggle as she pivoted, slipping her hand into the crook of Nif's arm, effectively locking him in place.

The arrival of a stranger would interrupt their moment, however. Greta's attention would be drawn to a tall brunette (everyone was tall compared to Greta) with strikingly blue eyes. In spite of herself, she felt drawn into them, crimson blossoming across her cheeks in reaction to the way they seemed to gaze upon her in study. It wasn't common for her to have the attention of another boy from her own school, let alone a stranger from another. His lips were moving, words spilling forth from them in a way that sounded gently poetic. She had caught her name. And the colour green. But whether it was the speed at which he spoke, words she hadn't yet mastered, or simply the clouding of her thoughts, he was rendered incomprehensible to her. Like a deer in headlights, her eyes would widen, free hand drifting to paw at Nif in silent plea.

Her saviour would descend with a translation, seemingly understanding her situation immediately without her needing to voice it. Of course, most of the group had long ago come to accept her less than solid grip with the evasive English language. Some, like Nif and Allu, were quite attuned to it, offering translation whenever she was present as though second nature to do so. Her gratitude in those moments knew no bounds, and in this moment, she felt herself leaning slightly against the former, a sheepish smile displaying her embarrassment as fingers lifted to tuck loose strands behind an ear. "T-thank.. you.." she murmured back to the boy. And then to the dare, nodded. As far as dares were concerned, it was a relatively innocuous one. Releasing Nif, she would drop immediately to her knees at his side, fingers curled into little fists to emulate paws where they rested on the deck.

"Mjau!" She would butt the side of her head against Val's leg, rubbing her cheek against it. "Mjau." A full ring would be crawled around him, shoulder and back rubbing up against his legs like a little kitty winding their way obnoxiously around their owner's legs.

Only when she received no response would she plop herself down to kneel-sit in front of him, chin inclined way way up to peer at his face. As though a hand had descended from the sky to pluck his very essence from the earth, Valentin would seem to be lost to her for a time. Eyes vacant and mind lost to thought, the little Valkyrie could do not but peer expectantly up at him, rocking back and forth on her feet to pull upon his arm at routine intervals. But even her attempts to gently tug him from his reverie would do little. Plus, she didn't want to disturb him completely lest he choose not to share such tantalizing information.

So with a huff, she was forced to wait. And wait. Until his inner monologue had concluded. By the time he had spoken up, it was like a had-been-sleeping dog hearing the word "cookie". She instantly perked up, eyes alight all over again with anxious anticipation.

Someone pure and infinite? She echoed in her thoughts, tilting her head. She had been expecting a name. Not a riddle. Brows pinched in confusion, mouth puckering, uncertain whether to be disappointed yet, but certainly confused. How could she possibly know the answer...A pitiful mewling whine escaped pouting lips when asked if she could see the answer to the puzzle, and she flopped onto her side on the deck, hands pawing at the sky as though batting away at some distant toy. She couldn't even see the puzzle. "Mjauuu...."

But he would continue and she would listen, expression smoothing out in favour of a placating smile, lip sliding over her teeth at the mention of his daily inflammation. "Mjau?" She had never really taken him to be so poetic, but how she could relate. Every day that she gazed unnoticed upon Nichlas was a night cast into darkness on the outskirts of the frozen tundra. Yet, but a glance from him was as the unbridled gaze of the sun, heat extending like an explosion to envelop her in a burning furnace that was sure to devour her on the spot. More often than not, it left her whoozy, unable to move or speak. Even now, a dizzying sort of smile accompanied a light blush as she rolled side to side like a cat soaking in the sun, her best imitation of a purr reverberating in her throat.

Destiny? Another mental echo, this time distant as it tried to pull her mind away from her own day-dreaming and back to the present moment. She'd never really thought about it...

The way Valentin was going on about it, she felt herself getting wrapped up in the talk, nodding along to what he was saying. It seemed to make sense. It made little sense to think that no control existed over one's own outcome. Was that not what she had been trying to do, anyway? To reinvent herself and take a more active approach to her own life. To be the confidence she wanted to see in herself. To stop allowing her life to be dictated entirely by others. If her parents had it their way, destiny would be theirs to control, after all.

And then, like a rock shattering the tranquillity of a glass lake, he spoke a name. "ROMEO!?" Greta's mouth dropped. She hadn't been able to stop herself in the exclamation, hands clapping over her mouth as she broke kitty-character. Amusement, shock, glee, disbelief, and every emotion in between threw themselves in a colourful mural upon her countenance as she scrambled to her knees. She had never thought of him as anything more than a friend. A brother, really. He and Hanzo had run in the same circle of friends for so long, the circle after which she had traipsed and trailed for as long as she could remember. He liked Roooooo, she mewled wordlessly with a giggle, absolutely tickled by this revelation, hands pawing at his leg.

She nodded along all over again as Val continued. A loud exclamation of "MJAU!" answered his question as to whether it was time to ask him. Honesty was the best policy. Generally. Not for her, of course. The idea of coming out to confess to Niche scared her more than the pang of "what if". Besides, those little moments like when he had asked her to the ball and given her the daisy necklace—a necklace that had once again been displaying itself prominently around her neck since the quidditch matches—were enough to satisfy her longing. As few and far between and punctuated by droughts of doubt and longing as they might have been. But for Valentin, certainly.

To his follow up question, on what she thought of Miles, she pulled back her hand. Arms stretched out before her, body dropping partly to the deck like a cat stretching from a relaxing dose. Only once she had plopped her bum back onto her heels, once again in an upright kneeling sit that resembled a seiza form of posture with her fists on the deck, did she peer over to him. And shrug. He seemed very princely in his own way, but he wasn't Nichlas. She would have left it at that were it not for Nif's addition. Eyes widened with embarrassment, crimson returning to her features as she pawed the back of his leg, a guttural, "MJ-auuuu...."

Fortunately, the cannon would fire, interrupting any further bemoaning on her part. And hopefully soon sparing her from her continued state of being incapable of proper communication with even those whom she could understand. She would bat the ball of crumpled paper down from the air as it fired towards her, entertaining herself for a while by smacking it across the deck and chasing after it in true cat-like fashion, giggling in spite of herself all the while. Only when approached would she pause, losing track of her crumpled cannonball which had skittered past the boy.

"Finally!" A high pitched sigh of exasperation accompanied her flopping back onto the deck as she rubbed her knees. "I thought I would have to be a cat forever!" Pushing herself to a rise, she turned in the direction of Allu's gaze. "What?! How am I supposed to do that?" Ugh.. "Alright... but it'll have to wait a moment... I haven't actually looked at my next target and I've lost my paper..."

She would leave him there, turning on the spot and darting off in the direction from which Allu had come. "H-hello.." she offered sheepishly to those that were there as she ducked and retrieved the make-shift cat toy. Paper in hand, she unravelled it to reveal the contents. "Kohana Sara... Truth.." she read. Then glanced up. "K-kohana?" Her voice was small, nervous as she called it out without any power to overcome the surrounding din. Little did she know she was standing right next to him. One might have thought the organizers of the event could have had the forethought to make identification of targets a bit easier... Frowning, she would try again, "Kohana?"

Movement from the side would catch her attention. Seafoam green eyes would glance over to catch the subversive movement of a hand being slowly and innocuously raised to shoulder level. As though the boy were begrudgingly identifying himself while simultaneously attempting to stay out of notice.

"Kohana!" Greta exclaimed, immediately brightening, amused by the coincidence of his proximity. Just like she had with Val, she bounded up to him and held the paper up for him to verify. "I am to give truth!" Of course... that now meant thinking of a question. And not only thinking of a question, but trying to figure out how to get it out in the right words. "Ehm..." The paper would drift down with her hands to reveal a face of concentration. "Hm.."

Slowly, she would shrink, body dropping into a crouch, seemingly melting on the spot as she pondered, trying to disappear from view. Really, she should have thought of the question before announcing the name. Fists closed to cover her face, the paper still clutched between them moulding over the top of her head like a hat of invisibility.

"Oh!" In a second, she was right back up onto her feet. "What to be.. Ehm.. What is.. big... ehm..." She would pause before turning to cup her mouth and look back to Val, shouting in German, "Niffy! How do I say, 'What is your biggest fantasy?' in English?" Only once he had provided the translation would she turn back to Kohana, smiling apologetically and repeat exactly what he had no doubt just heard Valentin say. "Yes... what is biggest fantasy?"

Louca brushed off the rough pronunciation of his name, used to everyone pronouncing it just that bit differently. Honestly it didn’t matter, he knew who they were talking about and worried about bigger things. “That’s me. Louca. Do you have a dare for me?”[/b]

Looking to where Percival pointed, Louca almost gagged. He was adventurous but that was almost too much. It was disgusting. “Whole tongue or just the tip?” Louca asked, giving Percival the side-eye and hoping that he would be able to get some kind of revenge on the student sometime in the near future. For the moment, Louca just decided to go full hog. Getting down on his hands and knees, he brought his mouth super close to the wad of gum, sticking out his tongue fully, and quickly licking the disgusting piece of old gum. Making a face, he stood up, jumping as he did so with his hands raised in victory. Pointing at Percival, Louca said “Did it! Thought you had me scared?” Louca gave a giant Ha. Usually he wouldn’t be this rude but honestly, he thought he could still taste the disgusting mass. It had almost tasted like nothing but there had been an unexpected aftertaste of some sort of bad breath. He couldn’t describe it any better than that honestly.

Returning to the cannon, he grabbed the next piece of paper, carefully reading the name that he was given. Bloom was an interesting name. He’d have to come up with something just as interesting. Looking around, he once more approached several people before finally finding his target. “I dare you to climb the crow’s nest, and swing down on that rope with a sword in hand, doing your best pirate impression.” Louca pointed to a rope that was caught on the top of the crow’s nest. Honestly he almost wished he had been dared to do that. It seemed like it would be a lot of fun. “That actually sounds fun but too late now. You’ve been dared.”
