Every time she thought the game was nearing an end, something ended up stalling it again. Her stomach was in her chest as she watched her team mates, her fingers clenching her uniform. "Come on..." She mumbled under her breath, watching River intently. "You guys can do it..." She was literally on the edge of her seat this entire game, between watching the actual game and checking on Marshal and Matt, that was.

He had fallen. Stanley's breath bitched and his eyes widening at the sight of the sky rapidly getting further and further away from him. Thoughts started to race through his head 'what did I do wrong?', 'why am I such a failure?'. Stan shut his eyes and accepted his fate of a large impact on to the ground.

But it never came. He felt himself sitting on another broom who someone else was also occupying. The boy opened his eyes and saw his team mate Serena had caught him. "Thank you." He said smiling gently. Now he had another chance to prove his worth. Both Serena and Stan could end the game. Maybe Stan could win his first Quidditch match.

The new addition to the team and the best hair keeper was doing such a great job at kicking that other seeker out of his broom. But unfortunately caught by the Hufflepuff girl. “DO NOT CATCH HIM YOU DINGO!” Did Aurora just call another person an inappropriate name? She did. She was so caught up in the moment that the word just slipped out of her mouth. The kind guy from the train was doing something to River’s broom, the same thing that Nicholas did to hers during the scrimmage. It wasn’t good. But hopefully Ravenclaw will take the victory again.

Serena had just finished her penalty lap when she saw Stanley get knocked off his broom. Zooming over as fast as possible, she grabbed hold of him and gently placed him onto her broom.

“No problem! What are teammates for?” Serena said, giving a sweet smile back. “ Now, let’s win this thing!”

Seeing that Stanley had seen the snitch, Atlas quickly swooped over to try and give them a quick chance at getting the snitch. Alley-oops were challenging but when they worked it was one of the quickest ways to get a jump on the other team. It was a maneuver she had practiced hundreds of times with Ethen...mostly because it was just fun for her to throw him at things.

As the spin began, Atlas grit her teeth and made sure that she didn't launch the seeker in the wrong direction. As soon as there was enough momentum, Atlas released her grip and sent the boy flying forward in the direction of the snitch. Air erupted from her nostrils in irritation as she could see that it wasn't going to quite make it. And the other team's pressure was swift and immediate. If not for someone on lifeguard duty things would be looking far direr. But they were still in it... They could still pull this off.

The game had been close for a while now. With blatches, bludgers and brooms flying all over the place it was getting too difficult to track everything going on. Sylvain happily began to fall back on his training. Unfortunately it wasn't until after Howard blurted River that Sylvain thought of a new plan and got into position. Hufflepuff had clearly sussed out their plan. Picking up speed, Syl tried to put himself nearer to the center of the pitch so that maybe he might be in the right place at the right time.

The game seemed to be going on forever. Or maybe it was very short. Edme couldn’t quite tell between things flying left and right and the intense air floating around, it was hard to tell what was really happening.

Her eyes had been closely trained on Aly, of course, as this was the girl who they may have to go in for at any time. Edme was a bit surprised to see the cheat, but that was Quidditch, was it not? The younger Ravenclaw worried quietly that she may have to cheat at some point when they actually got on the pitch one day.
