Covering Scars like Emotions
Her words really weren't getting to Bloom, so much so, that the Ravenclaw requested she clarified, as whatever she had told her so far was not relatively straightforward. "I'm warning you about his past - the reality - letting you know he committed a grave crime. Not just one as simple and forgivable as shoplifting, it was assault. He assaulted me. And you are being very unkind to me in order to defend him." She explained once again, shaking her head.
"Even after that incident, I protected him as you did, stuck with him for years, but he didn't defend me when the false rumours about me surfaced. I'm sure you've heard about the headliner incident. I continued to be on the worse end of the... alliance we had- if you can even call it that. I only realised recently... after he hurt me again..." The events leading up to their fallout were many, Aurelia wished she were wiser, that she'd told more about it rather than keeping the turmoil of feelings within her - to manifest in such unhealthy ways, perhaps she could have gotten much-needed advice earlier.
"I'm afraid for you Bloom. Your naivety seeing through rose-tinted glasses." Fitting indeed with the name. " I know Howard. That side of him exists. And you need to be cautious about that even if you are to love him." Warned Aurelia. If Bloom were still to remain in denial, it was hopeless to try to reason with her more. She was sharing her wisdom and experience, it was up to the Ravenclaw if she were to decide which to take home. Aurelia only hoped Bloom would be smart enough where Aurelia hadn't been - when she stuck with Howard for so long.

Covering Scars like Emotions
@Aurelia Notresvace
Bloom took a deep breath when Aurelia had pointed out the obvious: Bloom was being extremely mean to someone she just met. All because she was standing up for a boy she was falling madly in love with. A boy who probably has eyes for their ex, Falentra Black, or best friend, Serena Towers. They hadn't connected since the Blossom Ball and here she was putting down someone because they were talking rudely about Howard. Maybe she was in the wrong on all accounts.
"I'm sorry," she said, looking at the Gryffindor through the mirror. "No one deserves to get hurt by anyone. I just can't believe that Howard would do something like that," she said, fighting her heart and mind about him. She wants to stand up for him, but she also did not want to put down Aurelia anymore. Sure, she was peeved about Aurelia putting Howard down, but Bloom needed some tact.
"What do you mean again?" she asked, curious to listen more to Aurelia's story. Was this wound of hers the second time being attacked by him? What happened between them to make their "alliance" faulty? Bloom looked at Aurelia in person when she started that she was afraid for her.
"I don't expect him to be perfect, Aurelia. I'm going to have faith in him and know that he's a changed person," she said, not necessarily denying Aurelia's warning, but taking it in. Maybe one day she would talk to Howard about it, but as for their friendship was looking now, it wouldn't be any time soon.
Bloom cleared her throat and began to walk out of the lavatory. "Again, I'm sorry that happened to you," and with that, Bloom walked out of the bathroom and to her first class of the morning: History of Magic, where she was going to see Howard again after a couple of weeks.
