Reason for Joining: Lucky currently enjoys writing poetry and short stories in her free time. Her mother was a journalist and although the woman died before Lucky even began to show an interest in writing -- she feels this is another way to remain connected to a woman she loved dearly and misses. She's still figuring out if she has a passion for it and figured joining a club would be a good way to see. For me, I also enjoy writing but I would say I'm much more sure about my passion for it than Lucky is. I've written numerous short stories and dabbled in poetry in high school. I saw the old prompts and figured it'd be fun!
Additional Details: Lucky is currently second-string quidditch and involved in two other clubs so she (and I) may not always be present but we will participate as much as possible.
Suggestions for Us: Characters are a big part of writing so maybe a fun prompt where we create a character for a specific set of circumstances?
