Come home with me, my darling
Hanging over the Diagon Alley, Rita accidentally saw a pet shop owned by a gentle-looking couple. Growing up in a family where pets are never allowed because her mum just hates fluffy animals and thinks it is already difficult to look after two kids, regardless of animals, Rita always dreamed to have a pet. Seeing a pet shop, Rita thinks there might be a possibility of dreams coming true, so she decided to come in. "May I come in and see the pets?" She asked the senior couple. "Of course, you can! What kinds of pets do you prefer?" Asked by the senior lady who was almost the same height as her, with a sweet smell of cookies, reminding her of the homemade cookies made by her mother. "I don`t know yet, let me see the pets first. "
She began to walk slowly in the shop to examine the pets carefully. Maybe a rat? Nah, she`s a little scared of them. One of those adorable bunnies? Nope, though they look cute, she heard a sad story from one of her friends who used to keep two rabbits, but one of them got sick, and because it requires more money to cure the sick rabbit than buy a new one, that sick bunny was thrown away and the other one was given away to one of her father`s friends. The conclusion of that story is it costs a lot to cure a sick rabbit, so a bunny might not be a good option. Could a cat be a better option? Probably, as Rita stopped in front of a small, a little thin, and short-haired orange cat with pretty stripes. After clearly examining all the other pets, Rita made up her mind to buy that cat when she saw his little eager eye looking at her, expecting her to take him home. She later knew he was a male red mackerel tabby and was still quite young, about a half year old. Looking at the price label, however, she become a little bit hesitant since it cost 11 galleons, nearly all her money. Anyway, since she is longing for a pet, she eventually set her heart and paid for the cat. The kind gentleman put the cat in a little box and asked her to take care of the pet and treat it as her child. Rita nodded and took the cat carefully to her dorm. She had come up with a name for him, which was "peanut". The reason was the cat kind of has the color of a peanut. She could not wait to show her friends proudly her new pet and even started to talk with the cat, "Come home with me, my darling! I will take good care of you and you will have fun in my place!"
