In summary, the detention system is when you have a staff member (prefects or higher, not mentors tho they count as staff and I didn't know that) issue you detention, and when you finally get the detention thread- you can't start *new* threads, but you can continue ongoing threads.
All detentions have something along the lines of this
it may differ slightly from each detention you read.
Here was one of my most memorable detention- starting from the beginning, before he got detention
1) the thread it began
2) the duel
3) the sentencing
All detentions have something along the lines of this
1. Thread is RPG (200 word posts)
2. Limited to 3 posts (can be more if staff AND student desire).
3. Posts can be consecutive: player does not have to wait for a reply from prefect/professor if the prefect/professor is too slow for them.
4. Offending student cannot make or join new RP threads until detention is complete. Threads that were created before the detention thread was created can be continued as normal.
