News got around fast, and of course when Alec heard the words 'time capsule' he just knew he had to be involved. Was the wording not strange enough for anyone to be immediately attracted to it? Before Alec could partake, he had to figure out what a time capsule was. He had decided his best bet was stopping students in the corridors until he had received a detailed enough answer. It was a capsule... for time... of time? He didn't know how to put it. Basically people usually store stuff in there to maybe open and look at later, or leave for other people to open and find years and years and years from the time it was put into the ground. To Alec, it sounded very strange, but there was something about the activity that felt also oddly sentimental. It was a muggle thing, not that it made too much of a difference.

Everybody was supposed to bring an item. Something that represents you. As much as Alec liked the idea of putting something in the time capsule to represent him, whether that be nail polish, or those buttons, possibly a knitting project; it seemed like such a waste to put something in there only about him. One sided stories were never that much fun, and as much as some items could hold sentimental value, he felt it be a people connected to an item that made an item more important. Alec had too take a bit and brainstorm, eventually he came up with the idea the seemed perfect to him. His art. He'd done sketches of many a person that year. Besides, nothing better represented a person more than the people they choose to keep around, right? And Alec had some pretty amazing people he kept around him. It was positive, mushy and all, old friends, new friends, people he was getting to know, and the strange ones.

However, as much as he wanted to highlight the good, it wasn't as if he should erase the bad, even the not so great people sometimes deserve a starring role... Well.. Sometimes. It was a reflection in a way, he couldn't keep it mushy and friendship-y he had to be realistic. A small way to highlight his time at Hogwarts and a few of the people Alec has met for it. The third-year couldn't think of a better way to go about it.

Alec went to his room, pulling out pages with certain people on them from his sketchbook. Alec even took the time out of his day he write little descriptions on them. Whether it be of the person, or perhaps the incident that had made him sketch them on whichever day he'd done it. When he finished Alec rolled the papers together like a scroll. With excess ribbon he wrapped it around the scroll and tied it. The young teen took a moment to look at his ribbon handi-work and the scroll. Perfection.

Then began to race down to the courtyard as if his life depended on it. Alec was lucky he didn't run into anybody as he entered the courtyard. Waving his scroll proudly in the air, up until the point where Alec remember nobody knew what his scroll was, what it meant, and nobody would particularly care to know either. Though it wasn't as if he planned on showing anyone Oh well, it was not going to be the thing that ruined his mood. Alec knew what it was and such was all that mattered. He would walk confidently up to the metal capsule and toss his scroll in, bidding the scroll ado. As sad as it was to leave the only proof he has done something productive today buried underneath other's things, in a metal capsule, in the ground. He was sure whenever he saw his scroll again, it would be a touching reunion.

wc:649 | Alec both enters and leaves the thread within the post
There are seven different sketches within Alec's scroll. These are descriptions of the sketches for each and anything he may have written on them. I did it for fun. Need not worry, this is not going into my word count

Leonard Oaksworth: The sketch was old, but it was one of Alec's favorite. It's a sketch of leonard holding his flobberworm. He wasn't as amused over the situation and the slimy flobberworm as much as Alec was.
What Alec wrote: The flobberworm mucus is pretty slippery. It reminds me of soap

Rose Moon: A sketch of Rose dressed up for the blossom ball
What Alec wrote: Incredible duellist. All around good person. Fast learner for someone who didn't know how to dance.

Kim Sato: A sketch of Kim in his school robes, almost a comic panel, Kim is appearing various places at hogwarts, his eyes are comically large with stars drawn in them.
What Alec wrote: Starry-eyes with starry-eyes, need I say more?

Henry Knight: A sketch of Henry shouting at Alec to have sportsmanship 'or something like that' mid-duel.
What Alec wrote: Not sure if Knight has any morals or principles as much as he'd like to believe he does. Don't yell at someone for mid-duel trash talk if you're willing to take situations further and get physical with people.

Wyatt Starkey: A sketch of Wyatt on his broom, wearing his broomracing uniform. The sketch of Wyatt was the only one left without a note.

Elsian Cox: The sketch only includes Elsian's face, he's glaring at Alec.
What Alec wrote: He's better than I thought he was. The whole incident was still incredibly humiliating though.

Cassandra Ironwoods: A sketch of Ironwoods in their winter running outfit throwing snowballs at Alec. The sketch making the incident seem much more light-hearted than it may have been for the innocent bystanders watching.
What Alec wrote: That certainly is one way to get a person to turn around.

A time capsule was an ingenious muggle idea, or at least that was the opinion that Pax held about the whole affair. Their family had made one when they had been aged five, and then opened it aged ten, before creating another for the next five years. So, upon hearing they could leave a message for the future generations of Hogwarts in its own time capsule, Pax jumped at the chance.

But the looming question was as follows: What to put in the time capsule?

There was a large amount that embodied Pax, and Pax embodied many things. Unsure what they would settle on, they brough an armful of objects down to the courtyard, any and all ready to be deposited if they so wished to. Not too far fro the capsule, they sat and laid out all the things in front of them.

The first seemed trivial, but was such a large part of Pax's life that they had almost been convinced to keep it instead of giving it away, but the idea of another finding it in several years' time was just too fun an idea to let slip by. It was a pair of old leather sports gloves, battered and worn. They served no use anymore, not since they no longer fit (reason one), and that they were broken at almost every seam (reason two). However, these were the first pair of gloves that their father had gotten for them, the gloves they had been wearing the first time they rode a broom, the gloves they had been wearing when they first played quidditch at home (or a Zhang variation of it). Everything else that theyhad from that time was either at home in London or had been thrown away or broken beyond repair. These gloves fell into the latest category, but they represented so much more than that. They represented a passion, a fire, a spark that had been ignited in them when they first climbed onto that shared family broom, the feeling of a secure grip under the leather protection of those gloves, their father supporting them from behind. By leaving these behind, Pax hoped that whoever would find them in a decade would find their passion as soon as they had, and be lucky enough to pursue it, detailed on a note attached to the broken leather.

The second object they brought out was an old copy of a book, the book that chnged their life. It was a book that they had made themself in an old scrapbook, and illustrated/ decorated themself as well. They had called this book The Book Of Queer. Inside was photos printed out from online of numerous pride flags, with a small description written underneath. They'd started writing this when they were eight, and finished it the summer before thir first year at Hogwarts. In the back of the book were diary accounts of their own gender dysphoria and pronouns struggles. This copy was the original copy, which made it even more special to Pax. Knowing that they may have been putting inside the capsule meant that they were able to copy it out into another scrapbook and recount all the life- changing information that they had learnt over those few years. With the first copy, there was messy scribbling- outs and circle around certain words that correlated with their own gender. In a small note that they'd slipped into the front was a short message, where they sent out all their love and support to anybody struggling with gender dysphoria especially, but any who were questioning their identity in general, with some words of advice that they wish they'd had.

The third and final object represented Pax's love for adventure and exploration. When they were younger, Pax and their siblings would always explore in the woods around their house, and bring back a large collection of various woodland flora. Fern leaves, acorns, spiky conker shells, colourful leaves from all the seasons, even different flowers and the occasional (non- poisonous) berry were all brought back at one point or another. To preserve them, Pax's mother had come up with a clever idea- resin. As a family, for the first attempt, they found spherical molds that they filled with resin, before shoving inside every single leaf, acorn and conker shell they had collected. When it hardened, it showed the flora perfectly inside the sphere, and Pax adored it. They had continued to make many more over the years, but the one they would surrender was their most recent one, which also happened to be their best one. Attached to it, they had written the following on a note: 'This is what the world looked like in 2022. Hopefully it is still as beautiful in 2032. And while it is, make the most of it'.

Pax stared at the three objects that meant so much to them. They didn't want to give any of them up, yet simultaneously, it felt right that all of them went into the capsule. So, with a sigh, they placed all three into an old shoebox, and quickly wrote:
'From: Pax Zhang, first year, Gryffindor
To: Anybody looking for guidance, help, or even an adventure'
After, they placed the lid on top, sealed the box, before putting it into the capsule. They stared at it in there for a second, before moving away. It saddened them to say goodbye to things that meant so much, but it would be better for the next generation.

Clair was not one to dwell in the past. While the past had been full of Happy memories and fun times, it had also been full of Sadness, Self doubt and pain.
Clair had often wonder what the last really was, after all, everything was the past, two seconds ago is the past, one second ago, half a second ago, 1/1000000th of a second ago was the past.
Time was a concept that she had pondered about for many hours, it had been something she was baffled by.

Today as she stood in the Courtyard, surrounded by other students she wondered what she should put in. It had to represent her, what was she? She thought for a moment, she was a Ravenclaw, no that would not be good enough, a Farm girl, no.

After a few minutes she decided to change her idea.
Pulling out a quill she started to write.
June first 2022
The Courtyard, Hogwarts.
Dear Reader,
I'm not sure who you are, what year your in or if you'll have ever heard of me, but my name is Clair, Clair Fernandez. By the time your reading this, I'll be 22/23 years old. But right now I'm 12.
A little info on me is that I'm a 12 year old Ravenclaw girl, I'm muggle born. I live on a farm in Carlisle. I have a rabbit named Comet, once I had a pet Rat, I named her Clover, but she ran away and now is living somewhere in my barn at home. I'm writing this because I was not sure what to put in, I could have left a note to myself, but in ten years (which is what we were told is how long it'll be staying in the whole for) I'll be gone from Hogwarts, who knows! I could be married and having a child, I doubt it though.
I love animals so very much, and I would devote my life to them if I could. I am not a big fan of the City, but maybe one day I'll learn to love it.
I love to read, and yes a Book would be a good thing to put in here, but, I could never part from it.
I'm a Broom Racer on the Ravenclaw team, we won the last race! I really hope we win again in the next race.
Another thing about me is that I am Parentless, my father died when I was eight, and my Mum died this year. I know that does not define a person, but it is something that effects me almost everyday. And it's very annoying, granted, I should have had at least 40 more years with her.
Part of me feels anger at her, kind of weird though, I'm not the one dead!
And then I feel guilty, my Mum and Dad are dead, and I'm not. why?
Oh well, I'm not going to wallow in a pool of self pitty, God has made it happen for some reason, and one day I will find out. Maybe in ten years, when this letter is opened again I will know.
With that thought I shall finish, I have written about me, left some of my heart here and over all, I've opened my own eyes a little more.
⁓Clair Fernandez⁓
Clair read the letter over again, and then again. It was her, she had left herself inside that letter, or at least part of herself.
She folded it up and placed it in a envelope.
Neatly she wrote Clair Fernandez - 2022
On the outside, and then she put in with everything else, before sliding back into the crowd to watch.

June first… the day of many firsts. The first day of Pride month, the day of the Time Capsule Errand, among many other things.
For the Capsule errand, the students had been told to bring something that represented them. Bailey had a hard time deciding, and had spent several hours the previous night trying to decide.
Getting up Bailey headed to breakfast, and ate while thinking of what she was going to put in the capsule.
She decided to write a letter to whom ever would read it, and she hurried back to her dorm to write it.
It read:
June 1st, 2022

Dear reader,
Happy Pride month! I hope you are having a great day and a great time at Hogwarts.
Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Bailey Glade. I am currently finishing up my second year here at hogwarts, and I am in Ravenclaw. Fiercely proud of that as well. currently the biggest thing that has happened is the Blossom Ball and Ravenclaw’s five month winning streak. Griffindor just broke it, but we decided to allow them two. Whatever house you are in, be proud of it.
Also, you should explore the library. It truly is a magical place, and has so many cool things beside books there.
And once you are old enough, go check out the kitchen. I’ve been, maybe twice? It’s really cool.
And, participate in errands. It’s a great place to find new friends and gain money or house points!
If you ever want to contact me, feel free to send me an owl! I am sure the owls will be able to find me, as long as you put my name, Bailey Rose Glade on the outside. I would love to hear from you as well! I love sending and receiving owls!

Anyways, I must go put this in the capsule now. Enjoy!

Much love,

Bailey Glade

P.S. hopefully, Hogwarts is still a thing when this letter is read. I believe it will, but who knows.
Besides the letter, Bailey dig through her trunk, trying to find sometime else. Bailey dig up some random things, including a glass jar (ohh this will be perfect to put my letter and everything else in! bailey thought) and a few charms from her broken friendship bracelet (and these would be great to have in there too! They have special memories behind all of them, and who ever opens the capsule can keep them as well! Bailey thought)
Bailey also found a muggle picture of her and her friends from Taekwondo. Bailey had several versions of this picture, so she decided to also include it in the jar.
The jar itself was also special to her- it used to hold some perfume, her first perfume. Her mum and grandmother had gotten it for her in Paris, and she had received it for her 10th birthday.

After putting a cork in the bottle with the letter, picture of her and her Taekwondo friends and the charms inside, Bailey got up and slipped the bottle in her bag. She did not trust herself to walk to the courtyard without tripping and breaking the bottle.

Luckily, Bailey made it down to the courtyard with no problems. Placing the bottle in the capsule, Bailey nested it among a few other things.

Standing up, Bailey looked around for @Kim Sato. Kim had been the one she had told immediately about the errand- she had begun to immediately tell Kim about the errands, and/or drag him to them with her. At the most recent errand, Kim had escaped with Sophia, and Bailey had wanted to leave soon after, but she made herself stay.

With that, Bailey stood there. She had spotted Kim and Sophia, but did not want to interrupt them. She just stood there, waiting for someone to approach her or something to happen.

It was just like any other day for the green eyes. Cash wake up early and when they are permitted to go around the school ground, they put on their running shoes and run around the campus. They still had some time before the first class of the day started. Once Cash had been done with their morning exercise, they jogged back towards the castle but their steps halted when they saw a group of students and Professor Galim standing before the students.

From where they were situated, they can see that Professor Galim stood with a shovel in her hands. Even though Cash stood a bit far away from the crowd and Professor Galim, the instruction that was been given by the Muggle Studies Professor is clear as a day. It seems another errand will begin. And today the errand will be a time capsule.

The Beater more or less knows what a time capsule is. Though they were brought up in a Pureblood household, their mother always makes sure that Cash is well aware and informed on muggle cultures, histories, and news. And time capsule is one of the things that their mother had told her way back before they attend Hogwarts.

From where they were located, they saw familiar and unfamiliar faces. Not that Cash plan on talking to any of them. Their plans are to make a quick change, grabbed the thing that they wanted to bury within the time capsule, and prepare for today's activities.

And when Professor Galim told the masses that they need to choose an item that represents them and is not too big in size, Cash knew what they will take. Once Professor Galim finished with her errand introduction, Cash run like a bat out of a cave towards their own house. The green eyes make a mad dash to their dorm.

Once in their dorm room, Cash opened up their trunk. At the bottom of their trunk laid their first Beater gloves. Their father's Beater gloves to be exact. The glove is already worn out and had some holes here and there. The thread that keeps it together can be seen in various places of the gloves.

Cash stood up with the said gloves in their hand. And when they turned around and looked at their reflection in the mirror, they felt gross. Their hair limps and is stuck on their forehead. A sweat stain was visible on the v-neckline of their running garb. Cash then decided to have a quick shower and change into clean clothes.

And when they were presentable enough, they made their way back to the Courtyard again. When they arrived at the scene, some of their peers had already dumped their sentiments on the pill-like metal that was opened up near the Muggle Studies Professor. But some still write on their piece of parchment to make a note that they will be attached to whatever things they will bury.

Cash then walks up to the Muggle Studies Professor. "Good morning, Prof,"The third year greeted their elective studies educator. The Cuban descendant was ready to throw out their old and worn-out Beater gloves that once belong to their father. But when they stood in front of the pill-like metal, they hesitated.

Though the gloves were not up to Quidditch standards and were not deemed wearable anymore, the gloves held stories of two generations and Cash could not just dump them like the gloves did not matter to them or their father. It was a bittersweet moment. Cash stood there for some minutes. Then they realized if they stood there and do nothing, they will hold the line.

Cash side-stepped to make some room for whomever they were ready to say goodbye to the things they held the most. The third-year looked down at the worn-out Beater gloves that they held in their hands. Without them realizing it, tears pooled in their eyes. The gloves were there with them every step of the way.

From their father bestowed upon them before they boarded the Hogwarts Express for the first time up until the last match of the season. Sure, Cash will come back in 10 years' time and along the way, they might have a new pair of Beaters' gloves but it will be different. It would FEEL different. Cash then stood in front of the pill-like metal again when the hole and the line were not too crowded.

The soon-to-be fourth-years held the worn-out gloves up to their face. They tried not to choke up with what was to come. "It was been one hell of a ride, my friend,"They whispered softly to the inanimate object once they pulled the gloves back from their face. "Thank you for the wonderful moment that we shared and for your service,"The green eyes bent down and put the gloves inside the time capsule.

"I will see you around,"They expressed and turned around leaving the scene. Cash hoped when 10 years rolled in and they opened the time capsule, their Beater gloves still recognizable even though earth and time had passed by.
Cash both enters and leaves

Noah took a thought about what he wanted to put into the capsule. What could he possibly want to show the future generations that attend Hogwarts, should it ever show again. In the hands of students of the future. Would they be forever following the antiquated costumes and props that Noah himself had to wear? Well, if so, then Noah possibly had something for them. Of course, if they were Muggleborns, they probably wouldn't recognize these in the future then. He brought a box consisting of all the below, to put into the Capsule.

He put the signed picture of Freddie Mercury performing his signature move, as a sign of Hogwarts and their will to survive even though they went through a lot of issues. Hogwarts and Freddie went through a lot, and had a lot to prove. Both rose to fame, this point especially. There was once a rumor, or perhaps it was something fully made up in Noah's mind, of Freddie Mercury being a wizard when he was young. His singing inspired the Weird Sisters. And since that "rumor" that didn't exist, appeared in the purpose of Noah putting that signed Freddie Mercury picture in the capsule, Noah also put Twisted Sisters, a muggle rock band, into the box.

The second thing he put into the box was a giant picture of Noah's head, folded up for ease. It was the head he wore on the back of his shirt for the 2021 Summer Camp, the year he graduated from his First Year, to his Second Year. He was with the Hippogriffs that summer, and literally came across a student asking why he wouldn't eat a frog! The answer was simple. He was simply a superhero in training, knowing that his time will come, even though it clearly wouldn't. Ok, ok, fine, it's because he's allergic to them and has a fear of them.

The third thing was his second cape and headband, as they were a symbol of what Noah was for the entirety of his First Year and half of his Second Year. He didn't spend a full second year at Hogwarts, since he was pulled out over a conspiracy Noah made. His dads didn't seem to make much sense of it and thought Noah was really in danger over a lie if they would've just asked the prefect Alan Vanes, and pulled Billy, his twin, out as well for breaking rules. When Noah returned, he had a maturing look showing he grew over the six months he was out.

The fourth thing, was a strip of the Nimbus 1500 he got in September from a family member. He kept a wood strip of every broom he gets, same with a wand, even if it wasn't necessarily a wood strip, it could've been a splintered piece of wood. That was one proof of his success... before he disappeared for the six months.

The week before he returned to Hogwarts, his parents got him a Tawny Owl, and Noah named it Billy Maxipup, mainly to annoy his twin of the same first name. So, Noah put a feather from Billy Maxipup into the box.

The last thing added, was a note from Noah. It read:
---
Hello, viewers. Inside this box is autographed pictures, a symbol I have for Hogwarts. A picture of me, which I used for Summer Camp of 2021. My cape and headband, from when I was a first and second year. A piece of wood, from my Nimbus 1500 broom, as a sign of success. And then a feather, and it came from my owl I have received halfway through my second year.

- Signed, Noah Jupe (Gryffindor, Second Year, 2022)

Emma yawned, groaning as she stretched, her hand in a fist wrapped around a small scroll of parchment with a pretty bow wrapped around it. She had struggled with what to put in the time capsule, and only recalled the one time that she had done so with Muggle School, so had limited ideas on what to include. Her brain had been racing, and it had been difficult to get to sleep. This had meant she had tossed and turned and slept quite badly last night, only to wake up quite early and sneak down to the common room with quill, ink and parchment to write some things down. She had sat at a table, yawning and struggling through the brain fog to come up with things to write. So instead Emma had done a bit of a brain dump, something she had heard of from several planner videos she had watched prior to coming to Hogwarts.

She had mixed the words up between different hand lettering styles and just wrote. She had written her goals, interested to see if in 10 years, she would have done even two of them, or if she would have chickened out and settled for safety. The ones she knew for a fact would likely happen were to graduate (after all she wasn’t struggling in classes…..for the most part), and maybe fall in love? Though again that one was kind of iffy. She would like to visit Greece but wasn’t sure if she would have worked up the nerve or money to visit before the 10 year marks and she was certain that she wouldn’t have written a book by then. It was a new thought that had started to bounce around her head as she remembered some of her more vivid dreams. Some of those dreams repeated and Emma thought would make for excellent reading. She had dedicated a corner to a few of her favorites, such as baths, chocolate frogs, Sherlock Holmes and Herbology. Then the bottom was just some random thoughts she had had. Namely about change, her feelings about being a witch, and friends.

Honestly, things had changed a lot this year and Emma had struggled with saying goodbye to the familiar. She had probably been a bit of a brat about it at least around her family. But she tried to present a sunny front to the people she had met because it wasn’t their fault that their world had upset her own. Now she felt at least somewhat comfortable in the wizarding world and so maybe she had learned that change didn’t totally suck. Although it did set her on edge but it had turned out that this change was good, so why couldn’t others be just as well?

Once Emma had felt comfortable with the amount she had written and doodled, she had rolled up the rather small scroll of parchment and realized that she would need something to hold it together. Emma had run quietly up the stairs and found a ribbon from a birthday gift that had been discarded in the very bottom of her trunk. As she left to head to the courtyard, she did her best to ignore the mess, knowing she would have to deal with it later, even when all she wanted was a nap. It felt like Emma was on autopilot as she left the common room and went out to the courtyard, and finding the crowd of people who she assumed was here for the time capsule. After all, why else would they be in the courtyard. She stayed to the edges, watching to see what others would do as she wasn’t sure if she just went up and gave it to someone or put it in the capsule or what? Biting her lip, Emma looked around nervously, trying to figure out what others had done, and feeling that maybe her idea had been foolish.

More people continued to show up.

But that was fine. Kim had already done what he needed to do for now.

If it got too crowded, he could just leave. It was then that a familiar voice was heard, right after someone bumped into him, and he glanced over to see Sophia there. She really did seem to find him everywhere. "Mm." Kim replied when Sophia asked if this was awesome. "It's something alright." He added. The blond glanced around him, taking in those who had come. Kim saw familiar faces. AF. Emma. Quinn from the Prank Club and a sweet lover too.

Clair was there. He knew her from the Goosebumps Club. She was in charge of advertisements. Cash was also present, who he knew from one of the clubs he'd founded. She'd had some trouble deciding upon a dish to audition with and they'd worked out a different time for her audition. And of course, Pax and Noah had come. Those two were quickly making their way into his heart, even though he knew it wasn't a good idea to give in.

Having too many friends was a weakness.

Miss Ray of Sunshine Bailey Glade had also showed up, no surprise there.

Kim had come to expect to see her everywhere he went from now on. It was almost as if they were joined at the hips. Where one went, you could always find the other one close by.

Kind of like twins. The blond's eyes narrowed upon catching sight of his tormentor. What was Alec going to do to him now? Or maybe he was just there to do the errand? One could only hope. Thankfully, Alec seemed intent on just putting his item into the capsule and leaving, which made Kim let out a breath of air he hadn't realized he'd been holding all this time. And then his eyes fell upon Eun-ji. He hadn't seen her in awhile and it was nice to see her again.

Kim moved over to where Eun-ji was and raised a hand in greeting upon reaching her. "Yo." It was his traditional greeting, one that he used with everyone. Even his closest friends. He even used it with Charlie. "So what did you put into the capsule?" Kim asked, curious. He didn't see any sign of Mordred, which was a relief. While he was waiting for Eun-ji's response, his gaze fell on Emma. She had a strange look on her face. Nervous? No, not quite.

What was it?

Kim's eyes fell upon some kind of scroll wrapped up in a ribbon within her hands.

Ah, she hadn't put it into the capsule yet. He wondered if she knew what it was she needed to do. "Emma!" Kim called out and waved to her, implying that he wanted her to come over to him. If she did do so, he would ask her if she knew what she was supposed to do. But if she declined to come over, he'd simply nod and continue to wait for Eun-ji to respond to his previous words. Needless to say, this errand was turning out quite well for him so far that is.

Even though a lot of people had shown up, that didn't seem to be a problem.

Because there were a lot who just put their items into the capsule and immediately left.

Very precise. So there was never any problem of the place getting overcrowded. That was awesome. This was how all errands should turn out, Kim thought to himself.

He knows Japanese and Korean from his parents. Hiro, his father, is Japanese and Kwan, his mother, is Korean. So naturally, he learned how to speak both languages. In his off time, he learned Mandarin. Once he has some free time again, he's debating between learning French and Russian but still can't decide.

He also knows Parseltongue.

PARENTS

The Satos are a very powerful and well connected family and are very high up in the inner circle of purebloods. Purebloods all want to make connections with them. Halfbloods seek out their favor to gain better status.

Even some muggles who are aware of the workings of purebloods try to make a connection to get into a better position in the wizarding world. This is why he keeps his last name secret most of the time, to protect himself.

𝒯ime capsules had always been something Amadea adored. The practice catered perfectly to her sentimental side, allowing her to reflect back on her life so far to see what she wanted to preserve for the future. Additionally, she was able to get her creative juices flowing as she determined what exactly she wanted to include in this time capsule. Amadea always struggled with the literal idea of living in the present. While she understood the meaning behind the phrase - appreciating what is happening now and not getting caught up in the past or the future - she always became slightly anxious when she heard the phrase because realistically, every single second that passed became the past. To truly live in the moment, she would have to never think about anything besides what she was doing in one specific second before it slipped away.

She snapped herself back to the present as she reigned in her wild thoughts so she could focus on the task at hand. Amadea found it amusing that this was considered one of the "Muggle" activities, which made her wonder if wizards did not have this same tradition of putting together little memory boxes. Well, she figured, with being magic and all, they probably had other ways to preserve memories than simply putting together a capsule. The idea that everyone was doing this together was something else Amadea enjoyed. She often thought about the idea that nothing that anyone ever does is completely their own. If someone became a professional pianist, most people would applaud the pianist for their skill and dedication to getting where they were. While Amadea did not diminish the natural talent of the pianist and the hard work put in to utilize those talents, she also thought about how there are so many other factors and actors behind the scenes that shape a person into what they are. In the pianist's case, all of the teachers that helped the pianist learn would share a part in the success of the pianist. The parents would share part of the success because of their support and encouragement of their child's passion. The list would go on and on. That was why Amadea enjoyed this idea of the collective; while she felt as though she was distinctly herself, she also thought it was almost comforting to know that little parts of her came from everyone she had interacted with throughout her life.

History had always been something that Amadea was interested in. While History of Magic was definitely not Amadea's favorite class of all time, she could appreciate and understand the beauty in knowing history. Particularly, Amadea was interested in her own family's history. Her lineage was quite complicated, with generations prior to Amadea being part of the wizarding world but also detaching from that world as the family tree moved closer toward Amadea. And yet here she was. A witch. It was so interesting to Amadea and she wished she had more physical objects from her great grandparents about their experiences growing up in the wizarding world.

Amadea had put considerable thought into what she wanted to include in the capsule. Her item could be anything, as long as it represented her. After her existential crisis at the beginning of the year prior, Amadea had tried not to put too much weight to the question of who exactly she was and what defined her. She was slowly in the process of refinding herself and finding what made her happy. Eventually, Amadea settled on a Hogwarts towel that had some sentimental value and she wrote a quick little note to go with the towel.

To whom it may concern,
I know it must be quite odd to open this and find a towel, but I want to leave you with a story. During my first year at Hogwarts, my friends and I kept in touch with each other by letter and somehow this towel became the item we all exchanged when we wrote to each other. The friendships I've made at Hogwarts have been the most important thing I've learned here; I would not trade them for the world. I encourage you: step out of your shell, embrace the world, try to meet people because you won't regret it.

Satisfied with her contribution, Amadea went up and placed her note and towel in the area where capsules were being collected. She was happy to see that so many other students seemed to be showing up for the event as well; sentimentality was something Amadea cherished and she was glad that so many of her peers did as well. She hoped that the future generation opening the capsules at Hogwarts would appreciate it all.

Exeunt Amadea.

Eun-ji just finished putting her memento into the capsule when Kim joined her and asked what she decided to leave there. In all honesty, she almost didn’t expect him to do so. The two of them met occasionally and while they had somewhat special bond, he always seemed to be surrounded by people. Friends or not, the blonde freshman was obviously pretty popular and Eun-ji did her best not to get caught in the middle. Even now as he awaited her reply, he already spotted another familiar face close by. The Ravenclaw didn’t know her. She barely knew the first years from her own house to be honest. It gave her time to think about her answer however, for which she was grateful.

Choosing her next words wisely, the witch looked into the pit once more. The pointe shoe was still partially visible but the message wasn’t. That was good. She didn’t really want to go into too many details. “A dying dream.” The girl finally answered. Vague but true. “What about you? Anything interesting?” She asked in return though she wouldn’t push him if he didn’t want to share. She also didn't plan on sticking around if more of his friends started flocking in but for now, it was okay. Kim had an advantage of having chosen his best friend well. Had it not been for Charles, Eun-ji would probably not entertain him at all. Not that he was bad or uninteresting person. On the contrary, the witch believed he was a rather interesting young man but that didn't change the fact that she didn't want to create a new bonds. At least he is a pure blood. He should be fine then.
