Evidently satisfied with their healing efforts, each side selected targets and returned to a full-blown offensive. It seemed they had picked out who they most wanted dealt with; for Gryffindor, that was Lindsey, and for Hufflepuff, that was Sylvie. Each attack would only be half-effective. Had Sylvie's Flipendo come just a little later, meeting her target after Elsa's blindfold instead of before, it probably would have hit, but alas, Lindsey would use her last moments of unimpaired vision to dodge and weave. It was quite possibly worse to be hit with the Obscuro, though; Lindsey had escaped the last one unharmed, but what were the chances of that happening again?

On the Hufflepuff side, Lindsey sent another solid cast at Sylvie, following the brute force of her last Flipendo with a gust of wind. Lucia intended to catch the Gryffindor aflame, but something went wrong. As Bridget watched, her wand started to spark, and she braced herself where stood on the sidelines, sure she was about to witness a backfire of one of the worst spells to backfire. But with great effort, Lucia would stamp out the energy as it built up all wrong, and though that was one less cast crossing the stage, at least she hadn't taken a faceful of flames.

They reached a pause in between spell volleys. "About halfway!" Bridget called, before resuming her silent watching. Only halfway meant there was plenty of time yet for things to shake up drastically, but the duellists should definitely be keeping the ticking clock in mind from here on out.

Sylvie winced as yet another gust of wind threatened to blow her away, but it didn't stop her from trying to stand firm in the face of another potential flipendo to the face. She gave a comforting side eye to her partner. It would be okay! Despite the fact that Sylvie was clearly feeling worse for wear, she certainly wasn't going to present herself with a frown. There was still a chance, luck be on their side.

Her Ventus jinx just went so well, capturing Sylvie in a strong gust of wind yet again. A solid hit for sure, though the delight quickly faded away - or rather, everything visible things around disappeared. A blindfold, courtesy of one of the Gryffindor, forced her to fall into the inevitable darkness. Lindsey bit her lips, already starting to feel annoyed. Alright, one blindfold in a duel was acceptable, but two - or more, were frustrating. Rolling her eyes behind the piece of black fabric, Lindsey knew that the least spell she wanted to suffer from in a duel would have the incantation of Obscuro.

Lindsey was blindfolded, again. Reaching back to untie it, a movement of her hands that was getting familiar--maybe she'd be finding ways to undo the knot more efficiently?--she was probably resigned to suffering some pain in the coming moments. And that would not be entirely wrong, a sickening green light blazing in, courtesy of Elsa. The nasty curse would immediately have her nose running, and sneezes and a headache were in her future. That one was going to suck.

Anticipating a more brutal attack, Lucia had cast a neat Reparifors on her teammate. At least Lindsey wouldn't hurt and have to deal with a cold, and that restored energy was sure to help. But no second spell, no cuttingly-sharp jinx, would come from Sylvie; the Gryffindor was playing cautiously, swept up in the wind as she was, though it would prove entirely unnecessary, the Hufflepuffs playing defense.

Though Sylvie had been expecting a flurry of spells, cutting through the harsh winds holding her back, her tender skin was met with... Nothing! No pain! Thank goodness, because she really hated being hit by spells. Centering herself, she raised her wand once again, giving a nod to her partner. This duel was not over yet.

Again removing the blindfold - her fingers were becoming skilful in doing this - Lindsey rubbed her eyes to adapt to the sudden light. She blinked to see the things around her clearly and to avoid possible attacks, yet a spell already nailed right towards her. Gah, the curse of the bogies. Almost immediately her nose went running. But Lucia came to aid - even if Reparifors couldn’t treat her cold, Lindsey still felt better. “Thank you - achoo! - I mean, so much.” she said gratefully to Lucia with her running nose. What a nasty thing, thought Lindsey, she was already starting to feel unfocused.
