That is a terrifyingly old age to be losing a tooth. All of your baby teeth are long gone by the age of 12.

I couldn't remember if he was 12 or 13. Either way, if he's lost a baby tooth, that would be very concerning to a dentist.

Actually sometimes if an adult tooth simply cannot go out (somehow), the baby tooth just won't lose either because there is nothing new to grow in its place.
Having eyes, but not seeing beauty; having ears, but not hearing music; having minds, but not perceiving truth; having hearts that are never moved and therefore never set on fire - these are the things to fear.
