Felix had to admit the scene was quite amusing. His mouth twitched at the corners and he raised his brows as he beheld the wonderous sight of the firewalking obstacle course in front of him. Hold on- were those legos? Felix's eyes widened as he stopped in his tracks, taking in the sight of the flaming plastic blocks which littered the floor from checkpoint to checkpoint. It may have been concerning, the sheer lack of nerves Felix consistently seemed to posess. On the contrary, he was quite excited to see what the course would entail. Being a muggleborn, he hadn't competed in such events before, it should have been unnerving. Having finished gazing at the flaming scene before him, he whipped his head back and forth, looking for the one and only squirrel boy. Though, he highly doubted that he would be here, Kim was too timid and shy to compete in such an unruly and surely dangerous activity, it seemed bizarre that he would find the boy here. So he gave up looking and swiped at his forhead, brushing his dark hair out of his handsome face and leaning on whatever furniture was closest to him. His arms fell place crossed over his chest, and he calmly relaxed for the first time that evening, the atmosphere having a strange sort of tranquility to it. Ironic and peculiar you could say.
"FIREWALKING CONTEST PARTICIPANTS, GET READY!!!!!!"
Felix's ears perked up, and he raised his head slightly, his gaze zeroing on a girl who stood, apparently in charge. Felix cast his gaze absentmindently around the place and scoffed at the sight of people actualy stretching and preparing. God, was it even that serious? Maybe he was being lazy, careless even, but after all, did he really care if he won?

Wait- what were those things on the course? That were making the course? Drew squinted at the material. They were like... little bricks. Drew had never seen such a contraption before. He stared at the material, and then heard Cassie say something about... Legos? "Cassie? What in Merlin's pants is a Lego?" Drew asked, noting how she had said that this was going to hurt. What were these items capable of that made Cassie so sure they were going to hurt?
Drew rolled his eyes a little bit. He wasn't sure that the games were rigged for Hogwarts students. Though Charles could be right, Drew didn't think that the organizers of this event were those kinds of people. The blonde then laughed. "Sure, Charlie. Whatever you wanna tell yaself." He scoffed, in a way that implied he was not intending to loose. As Cassie mentioned that she was the racing champ, Drew was about to shoot back that he was the racing champ, then was reminded how he didn't even participate in the last broom race, so he didn't poke at that.
He nodded at his friends with a grin. "Though I'm sure as the International Student Squad, we're all superior to all these other lowly people. Good luck, y'all. Ready to kick some butt?"

Quentin was just beginning to enjoy the fresh night air when he felt a rush of rising hot air hit his face. He thought that maybe he was lost again. He was looking for a silly play-pretend game called "firewalking," but alarmingly, he found himself in front of a path that was actually on fire.Roleplaying as iNPC Quentin Gagné of Beauxbatons
Out loud, to know in particular, he said alarmingly, "Wait, it's on fire? For real?" Quentin quickly racked through his brain: He didn't know of any spells that made a person's feet impervious to flames. He didn't know of anyone with a special ability to touch fire without getting burned. Were these British traits? Had he signed up for the wrong game?
Then he noticed something in the fire: LEGOs. The little bricks were on fire. Quentin attempted to wrap his brain around how the children's toy could look so devious. And then something else occurred to him: They wanted him to walk on the monstrous bricks. They wanted to him walk on LEGOs. They wanted him to walk on LEGOs?
Okay, there has to be some trick to all this. Some magical trick. And Quentin felt confident he would figure it all out in due time.

FIREWALKING ROUND ONE
The girl in charge of the course stared down the contestants as they were stretching. Some of them seemed to have no idea what legos were. Oh boy, were they about to be surprised! She wondered how they went such a long time without knowing the basic things about the muggle world. Sure they could be from pureblood families but research existed for a reason! And it was dumb to have muggleborn friends and not find out anything about their world. However, she knew some people were just weird like that. Not too eager to acquire knowledge. So instead of giving everyone by the course a lecture on the origins and purpose of legos, she counted the participants. It was obvious that some of the people who signed up didn't make it to the firewalking course but she didn't blame them. The festival was exciting, it was nearly impossible to not get distracted from one activity by other, equally fascinating ones. So without another thought, she decided to start the contest. Those who didn't arrive on time were disqualified by default.
She brought a tiny whistle to her lips and yelled:

General OOC information:
1. There are three rounds in this challenge: walking to the end, returning to the starting point and then walking the course all over again. Participants walk the course one at a time.
2. For each round, three checks will be performed: Composure check (Stamina), Perception Check (Wisdom), then a Challenge Check (Evasion).
3. Each round, you can choose to perform one of the following actions:
- Prepare for Pain: Raises stamina +3 for this round
- Calm Your Mind: Raises wisdom +3 for this round
- Stretch your Body: Raises evasion +3 for this round
4. The person with the most points in the end wins.
5. DO NOT use actions other than the ones listed above.
6. I don't know if it's even possible to cheat in this challenge but any cheating will result in a player being removed from the course. Any rule breaking will result in disqualification as well.
7. Your first post should be your character getting ready to walk the course - stretching, staring at legos in horror, etc. Don't perform any actions until the next round.

Charles stretched out his muscles, loosening his arm joints and cracking his neck as his thoughts floated about Yefim Rumyantsev. The blonde couldn't shake his mind off the lad, not completely sure on his thoughts that he will be the champion of Durmstrang. The blonde wasn't sure on his emotions, he did want to be the durmstrang champion for the glory but also wasn't sure about the risk factor... never thought about hoe brave someome has to be to compete. He always thought of it as fun and whay if someone did die again this time? Whay if they aren't a hogwarts student....
Charles shook his mind, he needed to clear his head after all that night is suppose to be fun. Just him having fun with his mates.... right?
Charles threw his arms over Cassie and Drew's shoulders. Listening to each talk about lego. Charles rose a eyebow, an unfamiliar term as he looked over to rhe course and saw multicolored bricks engulfed in flames. Are those the lego? Charles wasn't sure, Drew asked Cassie what the word is and Charles spoke"Lego? Sounds mental," sounded off to the blonde as he looked about. Their group was already small due to Scarlett and Ayu not at hogwarts but it didn't feel right for the group to be decreased to three. A part of him missed Ro's presence and words, one of the few whom he can banter with and know no feelings will be hurt.
"Everyone knows quidditch is better," Charles playfully replied to Cassie claiming herself as the racing champ. Squeezing her shoulder a bit in an playfully way, noting Drew's own reply as he remembered that the American wasn't in the recent quidditch match nor race.
Playfully ruffling Drew's hair as he spoke"apologies if the topic of champions is sore for you since you hadn't played last holiday," laughing a little as his mind reminded him of the durmstrang champion. Yefim Rumyantsev. The Durmstrang in his year who was perfect at racing and before that quidditch even if he brought chaos wherever he went. The fellow Durmstrang annoyed the blonde with hiw grand he is.... is Charles jealous of him? A little maybe...
Nodding toward Drew's words of the international student squad being the superior ones there, the blonde replied"course were the best out of this lot, one of us are winning no doubt but the only question is which," a smile those each as he only jad two to lool at instead of three, his mind jumping to Ro as he spoke"shame Ro didn't join, she would have won probably, " a look toward his friends as he ruffled Drew's hair and playfully jabbed Cassie in the side.
Turning to the front to the girl running the event, the sound of the start then the whistle to begin.
Charles shot his two friends a smile as he spoke"eldest to youngest perhaps?" Emitting a laugh as he knew well enough that Cassie is the youngest and shortest in the group while he, himself is the eldest and tallest with Drew being in the middle.
Charles playfully raced ahead of his friends toward the course, stoppinf for a moment when his eyes spotted the pale hogwarts girl who reminded him of Valentin that called him out at the festival.
Charles narrowed his eyes at her and took a moment to stare before turning and racing back toward the course, stopping at the beginning as he looked at Cassie and Drew.
"If one of us wins then we all in, all for one and one for all."
A nod toward each then his eyes found the course, a breath as he rolled his shoulders back. Fear crept within as he shook it away. A breath as he relaxed his body, slipped his shoes followed by his socks off then eyed the course. A breath. Attempting to focus ahead as he lifted a foot and placed it on the course, the lego edges and heat flowed through his body.

Sophia scoffed as she stormed away from Kim. She didn't even feel angry anymore, but she was still struggling to process everything that had happened at the Ball so far, so being angry was the easiest default reaction.
She approached the firewalking course, and yes, it was still just as scary as it had been at first sight, but in the rush of emotions she was feeling right now because of Kim, it was a scary obstacle that she could overcome. It was a distraction. It was something to focus her frustration on.
Part of her mind vaguely wondered if Gem and Sage were anywhere nearby. They'd chosen their own events for the night, but there was still a chance they were nearby. If so, she hoped she didn't make too big a fool of herself in front of them!
She stood, enjoying the cool breeze as much as she could in contrast to the fiery hot LEGOs before her. The wind blew through her hair and caressed her burning cheeks and arms, preparing her for the course ahead of her. She only had to cross three times, technically. A to B, B to A, then A to B one last time. She could totally handle it. She'd stepped on LEGOs tons of times as a kid. Not flaming LEGOs, but still LEGOs, and that had to count for something.
Sophia took a deep breath as the whistle followed by the countdown to her suffering began. She gave her ankles one last little roll and stretch before taking the metaphorical plunge into the depths of the inferno. She braced herself for the coming agony.
Action: Prepare for Pain (+ 3 stamina for the round)
Free Action: Giving Kim the ironically cold shoulder at the festival of fire during the firewalking course!

█Did Drew and Charles... not know what Lego was? Cassie was amazed. Surely there was at least some wizarding equivalent of it for pureblood children! "It's... a toy," she attempted to explain, squinting at them. "A kids' toy. But adults use them sometimes too. Sometimes they get really serious with them." Cassie had once known someone who had a parent who was obsessed with Lego. He was honestly almost like that tall guy in the Lego Movie. "They're little bricks that come in different sizes and different colours, and they come in a set within instruction booklet, most of the time." Of course, sometimes you could just buy a bucket of them, which must have been what the people who made this course had done. "They have things that jut out on top and go in on the bottom so they kinda click together." It was a very satisfying sound sometimes, to click two Lego bricks together. "And when they're in a kit they come with instructions so you can out them together to make cool things. Models, mostly." Should Cassie try to introduce her friends to the idea of minifigures? She decided not to. They'd just be confused as to why they couldn't move of their own accord. "And they really hurt when you stand on them 'cos of the knobbly bits coming out the top."
"Obviously." One of the three would surely win - Cassie just needed to make sure it was her. She nodded at Charles' next words. It was a shame Ro hadn't signed up, but maybe she just hadn't liked the idea of walking on fire, which was understandable. "Yeah." Although... "I'm sure I'd have still won though." If Cassie wasn't going to have victory in the Triwizard, she was sure as heck gonna have victory in the firewalking.
Charles suggested they go in order of age. Cassie shrugged at the idea. "Go for it," she said. Since she was youngest, she'd go last, so she'd be able to see if there were any surprises on the route when her friends went first.
When Charles and Drew had both gone, Cassie would steel herself for what was to come, remind herself of the healing charm if needed, and step onto the Lego.

Hadashi finished his mental prep, and decided further physical prep was needed. He rolled up his pants up to the knee, and took off his kimono, placing it where it couldn't get dirty. This was a gorgeous kimono, and he was not about to get it burned or dirty.Stats:

Upon looking at his competition, few stood out to him. Though one of them... seemed strange. He carried a plate of food with him, but it appeared to be comprised of absolutely nothing but sweets. How did this boy function if all he ate were sweets? He was going to be diabetic before he graduated. Further, he seemed to Hadashi to be some sort of... oh what was the word? Goober? Goblin? No, neither of those... Gremlin! That was it. This boy seemed to Hadashi to be some kind of gremlin child.
He wasn't sure what led him to that conclusion, but he just seemed kind of... off.
Hadashi put it out of his mind. Others were going on about it being a group thing, if one won, they all won. Whatever. Hadashi needed to prepare himself. There was little doubt this was going to hurt. And hurt a lot. But, he was sure he'd be able to do it. So, he prepared for the pain about to shoot through his feet.

Kim blinked as Sophia spoke.
She'd seriously said something like that in front of everyone present?
Even if it was meant to be a joke, it wasn't funny when others could misunderstand! It was one thing to say things in private between them or with 'friends', but what if someone actually thought he'd done something like that? Kim still didn't know how Sophia had come up with this. He hadn't done anything that could be construed as this, at least not to his knowledge?
What had it been?
Now it was bothering him, his damned curiosity over the matter.
Kim wanted to ask her for more information about this but not in front of the other participants. The chance they could be overheard was very high and this was one conversation he did not want anyone talking about later on. "We'll talk about this more after the game." He told her, lowering his voice a bit. If Sophia was upset over something, she should have told him before. This type of thing was not something to mess around with.
And it also couldn't be ignored like other matters, which made things problematic for him.
Why?
Because when someone tended to bother him, Kim usually ignored them and let their words wash over him like water. If they became physical, he tended to simply let them do whatever they wanted to him. Unless it looked like it was going to be too painful and then he would simply avoid their attacks. He was pretty good at dodging things when he wanted to. Not everything of course and not all the time. But he mostly tended to pick and choose his battles.
That way, in the end, although he might get hurt in the process, he would usually end up winning the 'war'. And that was all that truly mattered to anyone, right?
Kim's attention was drawn to the front where a girl had raised her voice to alert the participants. She was the one in charge then. A line formed and Kim got into it, with Sophia directly ahead of him. A countdown began and then a whistle was sounded at the end and the first participant started to walk the course. A boy who looked like he was from one of the foreign schools was first up. Directly after him was Sophia. Despite her nerves from earlier...
Well, she appeared to do quite well.
Next it was his turn.
Kim took a deep breath and let it out slowly, calming his mind down. He was going to do this course just fine. As long as he went fast and didn't think too much, there was nothing to worry about. Kim placed his foot onto the first LEGO wrapped in flames and proceeded onto the course. All that was on his mind was going from the start to the finish. He would not think about anything else, or get distracted. After all, he needed to focus in order to balance.

Cassie started to explain Legos to Charlie and Drew. "That's kinda cool," he said, looking at the Legos. The things Muggles came up with. It was just brilliant. Apparently you could make some really cool stuff with these Muggle inventions. But these were not brilliant creations of mankind, according to Cassie. These weren't wonders of the human race. They were just toys that kids played with.
Drew winced a little at the thought of the pain of stepping on the bricks. It couldn't be as bad as Cassie described, right? Even if he did step on one, if couldn't hurt thaaaat much.
As Charlie brought up his lack of participation in the last round of inter-school games, Drew rolled his eyes. The blonde ruffled his hair and Drew ducked a little out of instinct, nudging him back with his shoulder. He wasn't sure why he hadn't participated in the last broom race. Life had just felt like a lot at the moment, maybe. "I'm not sore. I made the choice not to participate," he said, his tone sassy.
Charles ruffled his hair again, Drew was inwardly thankful of his choice to not gel his hair. He didn't think it was something Charles did on a daily basis, first of all. If it was, Drew probably just hadn't been looking close enough. But Charles would have messed up his hair a good number of times now.
Charles suggested oldest to youngest and Drew shrugged with Cassie. He knew Charles was older than him, but didn't know if Cassie was older or younger than him. "Don't die," he said, grinning and giving Charles a thumbs-up. Once the blonde was out of earshot, Drew said to Cassie with a smirk, "That just means we get to learn from his mistakes." Drew wasn't entirely sure he thought that one through- he probably just wanted to tease them about being the oldest. Drew couldn't blame him, though. Everything seemed to be a competition between their group anyway.
