But you must have enough galleons/money to purchase one.

But if the positions are full, you will be put on a waitlist.
There are also sometimes requirements to sign up for something like this.

Also there are some requirements to sign up for something like this.
For dueling, you must wait until you have at least 2 dueling spells and 1 offensive spell I think it says?

One last thing, you cannot join BOTH dueling club and quidditch club. You have to pick between one of the 3 (Quidditch, Broom Racing, Dueling). But if you are part of one of them and don't like it, you can leave it and join a different one.
