Yes, you can get I think 7 abilities total in your years at Hogwarts. 1 ability per year, UNLESS you have a special ability/talent that gives you something during a certain year, then you don't get any new ability that year.
You have to wait until you graduate July 1st, 2022 before you can apply for a 2nd ability.
