The words 'Vienna Goodwin' and 'calm' didn't really go together. In fact, the girl was a spitting image of the word, 'chaos.' With an overactive mind and unreasonable amount of energy, there weren't a lot of things that could calm her down. However, today seemed to be an exception. That morning, as she walked through the peaceful environment of the Hogwarts grounds, she couldn't help but feel a feeling she had barely ever felt before. Tranquility.
The girl wandered through the grounds, taking a short moment to breathe in the fresh morning air. Despite her constant social drive, she liked being alone sometimes. It left her unattended with her thoughts, able to fully analyze them without the distractions of the outside world. So what was on her mind today? She tilted her head, pondering for a second. Oh. The ball.
It was growing closer and closer yet Vienna seemed to remain completely unprepared. Who would she go with? Friends? Boys honestly kinda stunk. They could seriously be pricks sometimes, and Vienna was never the biggest fan of romance. Yeah, friends would work. But would she have a date? Or just go with a group? Did she even have a group? Where would she get a date? Yep, peace and quiet was not working. Vienna scowled, facepalming. Curse you, overactive brain.
However, her thoughts were soon interrupted as she heard the sound of footsteps behind her. Oh right. She wasn't alone. She was waiting for someone. She whipped around, straightening out her overalls as her friend approached. The two had met under quite... strange circumstances. Dropping a bag of maggots then returning said bag wasn't a situation people often bonded over. But somehow, the two had. Despite their peculiar meeting, Vienna enjoyed their company. So much she had agreed to meet her that morning.
"Hey! Edme! Over here!" She called, waving. There were times when her loud booming voice did come in handy.
