The night of the ball, cuddle up in a blanket, tissues all over the rainbow blanket. Lucifur would be the one to get the blame since she would choose allergy as the excuse. But the red and puffy eyes didn’t do much justice. She had been in that foetal position for hours, reminiscing the good times with the one who didn’t deserve her time and affection. It wasn’t particularly the best day for Aurora, perhaps there was a curse on every day that the ball happened. The day started with the adorable kitty doing his business in a place he wasn’t supposed to. He was somehow being a little territorial, despite being less than a year old. Early puberty, that was what it was. Though being mad was not an option since it would only waste not only time but also energy that she didn’t have in the first place.
Rough was un understatement. Imagine you just bought this really delicious frozen yoghurt that everyone was raging over with delicious chocolate drizzle on top and some freshly cut strawberries decorated every corner. But fate was playing a hat trick. Not a single spoon, a tall person bumped your shoulder and just like that, your hope and dreams vanished from existence, never to be seen again. Since that day, it was rare to see the bright and cheerful girl that she used to be. One hoodie a week, her part of the dorm was messier than ever, it's making a shipwreck look like the tidiest squeaky cleanest place on earth. All because of one boy. Nicholas, more like Nicholass. It was the best and worst of times. Cursed and blessed at the same time. He won an award of the best worst not boyfriend of all time. He can be affectionate in his own way but it rarely happens, only 0.1 out of 1000 chances. If you want to be a therapist, he would be the perfect candidate to date so you can practice. Buy, Nicholas McCowan, only 9.99 knuts and 50% off with no return.
Broken heart equals a needy appetite. And when the stomach growled like an angry lion, that was her cue to enter the ball for one reason. Free food. In her unicorn onesie, bright and colourful, quite a contrast from her overall mood and current soul, she stepped into the great hall looking a little unrecognisable. She was pale, the rosy tone on her skin was not there anymore, she looked like a living corpse trying to find purpose in life. Who needs a date when you can have food? But that was when she saw him. Out of sight out of mind, but now that he was there, looking incredibly cute in that non flannel clothing, probably the only thing in his trunk that isn't a squared pattern, he ran free in her head. One step further into her goal. Again. But he wasn’t alone, no. That girl was there too, the same one that held his hand when the Koldovstoretz students arrived. Both were wearing white. Are they going together? Is she gonna be his girlfriend? Is she his girlfriend? The snaps from the same little break, the old familiar ache, it was unbearable. She wanted to go there and rip the face of that beater and kick her into the bottomless pit, letting her bones be crushed as she fell into the void.
Her purpose was changing. It was now ‘bring back what once was mine’ mission. Being as nonchalantly as possible, she casually walked there and would step in between Nicholas and Erin. She would also try and grab his hand before the other girl could and probably drag him away from the man stealer. “Nicholas! Your broom snapped in half! You should come with me.”

After his second attack, regardless of whether it struck true or not, he would earn another screeching rebuttal, as well as possibly a slap. If it hit true, he'd not need to address it. One small slap was not going to amount to much, not when he had endured vastly more severe injuries with a smile on his face. Their outrage made him glow with pride, he would take each bit of retalliation as kindling to the flame inside. The more people he got mad, the more disheartened they would be when they saw him rise to glory and fame. He couldn't wait to pounce on another victim.Playing as iNPC Yefim Rumyantsev
That was, he could wait, because he started to slowly get surrounded by other Durmstrang students. Some he knew well, others were faces he recognized in passing. Simza, a new Quidditch player, would be the first to protest, though their protest was less an insistance to stop, and more a decrying of his approach.
[”I take requests.”] He'd offer, his chipper attitude clear in his tone. [”I'd love to hear your ideas Simza.”]
Little Greta would appear partially hidden behind Niffler, like trying to take cover behind a lamp post. Though she was talking to him, Yefim would hear her mousey little words as well.
[”Are you afraid of trouble, fishlet[1]?”] Yefim's kinetic energy had slowed now that he had been engaged in conversation, and he would lean on the food table, the dishes all jostling and clinking in tandem to his disregard of them as he moved. [”Trouble isn't always bad. In fact, you should never assume the people in charge know what's right. Me, however, I'm always right.”]
With that said, he'd throw his head back and laugh loudly. Maniacally, maybe. Coming down off that, he'd finally catch sight of Mik in the crowd, wandering around. He was really easy to find, what with the pitch black outfit he was wearing.
[”He never disappoints. He is wearing a body bag this time, that's so him.”] Yefim would muse to no one in particular as he wistfully shook his head. Sometimes he wondered where Mik would have been if he and Yefim hadn't become friends so early in their lives. Probably nowhere good. [”What is that mad man doing now...”]
He'd not scream Mik's name across the room as he might have with another, he respected the fact that Mik was not fond of attention being drawn to him, but if Mik looked his way, he'd enthusiastically wave him over. He was at least tall enough that he was a head above most of the skittering little children, and his actions had made a few of the smart ones avoid getting too close.

It seemed the night was threatening to become a repeat of the last Blossom Ball that Winnie and Matt had spent together. The girl was quickly crumbling beneath the weight of his words, and it was only a matter of time before she could no longer bear to be near him without breaking. At least she had not tried to tackle the boy. At least he wasn't kissing someone else after calling to obtain her attention. Well, not yet. The two were a mismatch, but stubbornly bound to each other through Winnie's feelings for him and whatever excuse Matt told himself to shield himself from accepting his own feelings.
Whatever the reason was, the tears she shed had been curated by his either careless or carefully calculated words that clawed their way beneath her skin, a parasitic being feeding off of her insecurities. It was not the first time she had been broken, and it would not be the last. She was being punished for what he given her – the gift of a world he had built around her, one of feeling loved and needed by someone, one that he had so easily destroyed in one fell swoop – she was still too attached to let go. This scene was likely not what Matt had envisioned when he had first entrapped her. She was meant to be a disposable toy, a stepping stone, but she was likely just as much a burden as she was an asset, and now he no longer needed her.
As the rubble of what the two one had surrounded her, she began to feel overwhelmed. There was talk of clavicles, apparently Mathias' new fetish, of not wearing his girlfriend's clothing. Girlfriend? Her? Why did he still refer to her as his girlfriend? His need to continue playing with her heart likely drove him to it. "You've made it PERFECTLY clear how you feel about my current clothing, but why the hell would you buy me anything?! You broke up with ME."
Hiro was only interested in her because she was close to Mathias? How could that be true? Hadn't they had a lot of fun together the past few days? It was true that she likely spoke about him a lot, but... Maybe it was all a lie. Perhaps she was just something new and different. "... Is that true...?" Her voice had softened considerably, but it was not a permanent adjustment. She was ready to scream at either one of them if need be. Hiro and his date seemed to be getting ready to leave the area, but it was then that Winnie suddenly remembered she had hidden away Hiro's proper ball wear inside her enchanted satchel bag. "The small hall. Top right hand corner... The bag is there. Just leave my clothes there..."
Her screeching had attracted the attention of others. Most notably a giant bunny-- how adorable. If she wasn't in the middle of a temper tantrum she might have gone over to greet it. There was something else bothering her, gripping her attention. Matt had said 'after they call my name', and Winnie could not think of a reason they would be calling his name other than the Goblet. Matt was... Frail. Sickly even. There was no way he could survive such feats. "... Tell me you didn't put your name into the goblet, Matt."
Through the settling dust of the ruins surrounding them, Levi would arrive dressed as a prince. Was that not what this evening was meant to be? That was how she had once imagined balls. A fairy tale moment, that was how she used to envision balls. Someone like Levi would approach her and offer her his hand as a gentle melody started to play. They would dance beneath the star light as they stared into each other's eyes, flustered and unwilling to believe such a magical moment existed. Then the clock tower would ring and break the spell, remind her that it was all in her head. Because moments like that did not really happen. For the rest of the evening, Matt's words would taunt her; she was nothing but a muggle girl playing pretend.
The real tragedy in the eyes of Pumpkin the cat was likely that neither Winnie or Mathias was playing any attention to him. The plump ginger cat rolled over onto his belly, silently staring up at the two. They were getting hostile but he likely did not understand why, for he was simply a cat. A soft 'mew' would show his displeasure in being ignored. It became even worse when the other boy entered the room. Pumpkin hopped up onto his paws, his back arching as he backed up against the orange boy. Yes, the tall one would protect him from this menace. In the mean time, he would show his displeasure in seeing the short boy with a less than impressed glare.
Levi still stood there, dressed as her prince and offering his 'affections' in the form of a tiara. A dazzling golden piece that he had carefully woven flowers into. She recognised the tiara from their trip to Hogsmeade, the same day she had snuck away to buy him a camera for his birthday. Perhaps he was buying the tiara while she had slipped away. A smile graced her features, "Levi! I... I meant just a flower crown b-but it's beautiful... Did you go back just to buy it?" It looked expensive and she hesitated at first. Did that mean she wasn't going to accept it? Hell no. The piece was accepted and placed gingerly on top of her head. There was an odd sensation throughout her scalp, a tingling. Winnie wouldn't notice since she already had ridiculously long hair (though Hiro might have if he was still present, given his obsession with her hair), but it had grown a few inches under the effect of the tiara's spell.
An arm shielded her from Matt, and Winnie was surprised. She was not used to someone physically protecting her. She also had never seen Levi get violent before. He had experienced Matt, though. He knew what it was like to be loved by him and then to lose him. She could see it in his eyes. Wait a minute, were they talking about another girl? "Who is Nikita?" Winnie asked with a furrowed brow. Had Matt really held on to Levi and their relationship for so long? Had she simply been a rebound for him? "What lie?" She suddenly asked Matt, the gears in her head turning. "... You two dated... That's what you said." Unless he had lied about it, but why would he do that...? It made no sense, her head was starting to hurt. "... That... Is it a lie? Why... Would he be fake crying?"
A shattering of an illusion as a thought occurred to her, something she had speculated during her nightmares but had quickly waved away because surely there was no way that Mathias Pride, her once beloved boyfriend, had lied to her about something. Manipulated her loss of memory. She took a step backwards as her eyes scanned him over. "Y-You're... Not who I thought you were." So why did she still love him? How was that fair?
With Levi's arm wrapped around her, she turned from the former Slytherin and allowed her date for the evening to guide her. A dress, he had brought her one. "Thank you... I'm sorry." For wearing the other one in the first place, that was. He had been understanding, but she could tell he was disappointed, but he was prepared, he had known that Matt would upset her, but he had not said anything, had allowed her to figure it out on her own.
She paused, perhaps a bit suddenly. There might have been food flying through the air near the two of them, but she seemingly didn't care. She looked back at Matt. Had he truly not cared about her? Was he really willing to let her walk away with Levi? He had broken her heart, and maybe she wanted to hurt him. At least a bit. So, her arms slid around the Gryffindor. Despite his short stature, he was still a good three or four inches taller than Winnie and she had to push herself onto the tips of her toes so she could press her lips against Levi's cheek.

Midspring Celebration
Interacting with @Galton Lansdale and @Howard White
The silence was definitely awkward. She stared after Bloom and Erin for a moment, contemplating the conversation that she had earlier with the latter one. There was something she needed to figure out. It served as a nice distraction from the awkward. Looking up at him, she opened her mouth to speak. She had to know and Howard might have known the answer. In fact, it kind of seemed like he knew her well enough to be able to help Serena sort through the mess in her head.
Unfortunately - or perhaps, fortunately - she heard her name being called. Turning, she noticed a boy. Tilting her head, it took a solid moment for her to put a name to the face. Galton! Right, that was it. He was Hugh's good friend and part of the odd misfits of the 'Operation Save Erin' - a vital part of that if she recalled correctly as she remembered his excellent duelling abilities. But they did not really speak outside of that stuff, now that she thought about it. Wait- what? Stand him up?
Raising her eyebrow, she stared at him confused for a moment, "Hey... Uh, were we meant to be meeting- wh-" She started to reply, confused as to what he meant. What was he even talking about? "Wait, what? Wh-" She continued, still very confused. Her eyes widened slightly as Galton went ahead and invited the 'tall guy' on a 'date'? Wai- THIS WAS A DATE?
"What date? I didn't-" She started, trying to express her confusion. She definitely did not recall agreeing to a date. Hell, they had not even spoken since... when was the last time they spoke? October? They might have passed each other a little since then but nothing memorable, clearly. And there was definitely no mention of a date! "I don't have a date-" She continued in a whisper, clearly exasperated by the whole thing and kind of shocked, but mostly confused. And then she heard Howard's words...
Turning back to him, she looked up taken back by his words and the nudge. Her chest hurt. It felt heavy and as though it was shaking. Her fingers shook slightly by her side as she stared at him, her eyebrows furrowing. Her lip quivered a little as it fell open, her nose scrunched up slightly and her eyes watered. Hurt painted her face.
If anyone else had done it, she would likely have taken it as a friendly teasing action. Just trying to get her a date or let her have fun or whatever. But... Howard doing it just served as a reminder of what she already knew: he would never like her. "I'm not anyone's," Though her voice was low and quiet - barely audible in the noise of the ball, it was laced with a tone of irritation as she snapped a little. Her voice was so quiet that they might not even have heard it. She was not Galton's, nor was she anyone else's.
Looking down at the floor, she exhaled. Her expression returned back to normal, unfurrowing as she blinked the water back. "Okay..." She whispered in a mutter a few times, talking to herself before and just trying to convince herself that she was indeed okay. She exhaled sharply, calming herself down. Howard was not wrong. He was just reiterating what she already knew and she had no right to be irked by it. It just... hurt. Even if it was not his fault, it hurt and she was foolishly taking it out on him. She never expected him to like her, so why should she be hurt by it? He was just being friendly. Right. It was just because he was a friend, she should not be mad. And she was not. But there was a sensation of being hurt and that was coming out as irritation. But she had no right to be hurt either. It was not his fault. She was the one who was making things awkward with her unnecessary feelings. She knew he would not reciprocate, so why in Bodrig's name was she suddenly hurt by it? It was unreasonable and unfair. She sighed softly, composing herself.
Turning back to Galton, she allowed her gaze to observe him. "You know what? That sounds great. I'm in," She responded as she looked at Galton, putting a smile on her face and nodding. It was not Galton's fault by any means and he was pretty sweet. If nothing else, he seemed to be enjoying the food, at the very least and she was definitely down to have some fun at one of these balls. "Just uh- when you say 'fun', you don't mean killing more slugs right? Because I'd just rather... not, to be honest," Asking for clarity and for her own sanity, simply to avoid having to deal with that nonsense again. In fairness, if he said yes, she would still help out. She just... wanted to be prepared.
"Can I uh put this down now or did you want some more?" She asked, motioning to the box of samosas with her head. She wanted to add it into the table for the potluck rather than walk around carrying it but he seemed to be enjoying it and that kind of made her smile.
Though... did he always have that god-awful facial hair? Was he trying to be more Hugh like because if so, he really needed more than half a moustache? Though, she did have to admit that he looked pretty ready with his robe which seemed to have a ton of pockets and pouches. What did he even have in there? She had no idea but if they were fighting slugs, hopefully, some repellent.

Kamila had been completely oblivious to the people around her. Until a couple moments ago when an older student had spoken. "Hi! I love your dress. It really fits the theme here," Kamila looked around because it was not often that the older students noticed the first years. After confirming that it was, indeed, she who was being spoken to. Kamila replied, "Hello, Thanks," Kamila said pausing to wait for the older girl to continue speaking.
"You don't go to Hogwarts, I don't think. What school do you go to?""No I don't," Kamila admitted, "I attend Koldovstrovetz actually. I really only came here for the hexwizard tournament but I have heard a lot about the balls at Hogwarts and thought it would be fun to attend." Kamila paused for a moment and then continued. "Are you a student of Hogwarts or do you attend a different school like me?"
Kamila had plenty more questions to ask the Hogwarts student, but she decided to refrain from asking anything more. So, then Kamila waited for a reply, trying to hide how happy she was that she had someone to talk to. Hoping that she had not talked too much and that she did not sound stupid.

It was starting to become apparent that what Winnie wanted from Mathias would not happen anytime that night. Hiro didn't think Mathias meant everything he'd said to her, but then again he might have. It wasn't as if his roommate was known for being honest when it came to others, but at the same time sometimes he did relate the truth. Mathias was a very hard person to figure out, that was something everyone who'd met him could agree with him.
At any rate, Winnie's emotions seemed to be running high and Hiro sensed it was time to leave. For now, at least. He could always check back on them later.
Hiro's eyes darted down to Pumpkin as the cat was dumped on the floor and he leaned down to pet it. But Mathias chose that moment to make a sarcastic comment about his exposed clavicle. A smirk came to his lips. "You never know. To some people, showing any skin might be considered indecent." Hiro said with a shrug of his shoulders and then regretted doing so. There wasn't much holding his dress up right now and it had slipped a bit.
Even if it fell completely off his shoulders and exposed his chest, it wouldn't be too bad. He was a boy after all. But it would feel really odd to let that happen! Hiro did not care what other people called him. It just didn't bother him in that aspect, despite the fact that he attended the most popular school for witches and wizards in Japan. He did care about his culture but it wasn't as if he had anyone to please. The thought was sobering to the student.
And he quickly tried to focus on something else.
Like Mathias and Winnie's drama that was still going on.
He wasn't entirely sure what Mathias's purpose for all this was but it was downright complicated. Then again, perhaps Hiro's circumstances were easier so to speak, it wasn't as if he had any parents or family who expected anything from him. Despite coming from a pureblood family, they treated him like he didn't even exist to them. All because he'd been born a boy and not a girl. He would have loved to have seen their faces if they saw him now.
Hiro blinked at Mathias's next words. "Dresses? Why would I buy a dress when I don't wear them? This is my first time. I only did it because Winnie is awesome. You should pay more attention to her and less on me. It's not like we're into eachother for real, you know." He said with a shake of his head. Seriously, did Mathias like him or something? Hiro might flirt all the time but he didn't really mean anything by it.
Wait a second.
Didn't Mathias say something else before?
"Also. Hey!! Pink is definitely my color this week!" Hiro said with a pout.
"You don't know what I had to do in order to keep this color from being changed back to normal dull colors by the teachers." Hiro added with a shake of his head.
That was when Mathias had to go and say something that totally blew his mind. "Huh?" Hiro said, his lips parting in astonishment. "I think you've gone mental, Mathias. Did I bother you so much that you've finally lost your mind?" He asked his roommate. "I actually like her for who she is. Not because she has any connection to you. I don't need anyone to help me get closer to you, I can easily do that on my own."
"And no, that is not me coming on to you." Hiro said, resisting the urge to tease him.
Because that would probably only make things worse right now.
Hiro probably would have said and done more if Akira hadn't come up to him and grabbed him by the shoulder, steering him away from them.
Distracted by his date, Hiro grinned at him and wrapped his arm around Akira's waist, as Akira's own arm was currently around his shoulders. "You say you're not my date. But if you aren't, how come you accepted my invitation to come to the ball with me as my date? Not to mention the fact that we arrived together, held hands and entered the ball as a couple. Don't you think we're destined for eachother, Aki?"
Hiro asked with an arched brow, resisting the urge to laugh at his words. Serious. He needed to be serious!!! It was only when they were leaving the area that he heard Winnie's last words. Thankfully, he'd heard them, or else he'd have been in trouble later on. Hiro looked back over at Akira, still waiting to hear his response to his earlier words. He'd spoken the truth and Akira knew it, so how would his date get out of this one? Or would he admit it was all true?

Her dark-brown eyes would carefully scan the corridor as she waited for her friend to arrive. Or perhaps she had missed her passing? Still, Maddie was easy to pick from a crowd. Either by her chosen attire or the way she moves through a crowd. One only needed to follow the trail of eyes slowly following her every step. Something Cassanora did not envy her friend for in the least.
She had taken the time to dress up for once, usually preferring the trustworthy comfort of her school uniform over an attire that was likely going to just make her actively wondering how she looked all the time. This blue dress was pretty to look at, the two straps on the back feeling a bit like a cape. Which, admittedly, had her grin every now and so often. Yet at the very least, her uniform made certain things very clear: She was from Beauxbatons, and she valued business over "pleasantries". Sure, she knew herself to be a capable social butterfly when needed. She was, after all, Caradoc Browne's daughter. But the fact was that she did not enjoy it. The vast amount of energy she needed to spend to indulge some stranger boring her with "fun little Hogwarts facts" or "good ol' Durmstrang traditions" forced her to witness her mind shrivelling in agony. Energy and, perhaps more importantly, time she could spend on her work or reading. Which is where the actual truth was hidden.
["Merde, where is she?"] Cass' voice hissed, unheard through the buzzing of the passing crowd. She was getting nervous, and she certainly didn't wish to be here by herself. Perhaps there were others she might find around? Angelique ought to be around here somewhere, right? If there was one who definitely liked the attention she attracted, it was her broom racing friend. Cassanora's face grimaced in disgust as she recalled one of Angel's comments about her father. Sometimes, that girl was beyond crazy. But a good friend nonetheless.
Trying to leave awkward conversation topics in the past. Cass jumped into gear and left towards the door. Maddie would find her quickly, she felt sure. In the meantime, she might get a chance to stuff her face with the various foods being delivered by the students that wished to share something new with the others. Time to learn through food. Yes, that sounded more like something she'd enjoy. Just a quick evasive trajectory towards the table that displayed them and then off to the sides of the room. Ready to blend in and observe. Knowing Hogwarts, there was bound to be something to watch later on.

Life is filled with great duos: Calvin and Hobbes, Simon and Garfunkel, Hall and Oates, Thelma and Louise, and... Ami and Arjan? It was maybe an unorthodox combination, one that seemed to be a direct clashing of dominant personalities (insert metaphor about magnets that repel each other), but Ami actually enjoyed Arjan's straightforward and flamboyant nature. They had a lot in common, which gave them a lot to talk about. Luckily for her, Arjan's personality was just as loud as hers, and the two firecrackers were bound to stir up a bit of excitement. She had kept her nose clean this year, stayed focused on school, sports, and the Headliner, and kept a relatively low profile. But now she wanted to let loose and have fun, hopefully giving in to her wilder side. Arjan may have technically been her date, but he would really just be her accomplice. Also, as she had made crystal clear to him, they were both appreciators of fine foods and even finer women.
Like Drake said... "say that you a lesbian, girl, me too".
Ami wasn't actually sure how the two of them had decided to attend this year's Blossom Ball together, but the topic had probably been broached by her during one of the many times in which she had seen him at Hogwarts. She knew the Durmstrang student was a Quidditch player and frequently saw him exercising on the grounds, so already, the two had far more in common than most other students. His slightly narcissistic tendencies didn't bother Ami much at all, so even though the two didn't know each other very well, she figured that he would be good company to keep for an evening.
For once, Ami opted to embrace the chance to dress up, and chose a simple cowl-necked gown that matched her fiery locks. Her wand had been stabbed into her messy mane, holding it in place in a precarious-looking updo. A bit of red lipstick (a la Marilyn Monroe) and eyeliner later and Ami was making her way toward the ball, her gladiator's sandals flopping loudly on the stone floors of the castle. The nearly-6-foot Hufflepuff held her head high as she strolled into the ball, scanning the area for her date.
Finally locating the orange-clad Durmstranger, she approached Oberoi with a lopsided grin. You had to admit, the dude was seriously handsome, even if his pompadour was more pompous than his attitude. "Dude, you look great!" she exclaimed, patting him on the shoulder. Her head swiveled around as she scoped out the action, mentally noting the various conflicts that had already begun to simmer. This was exactly why everybody hated freshmen the younger years. However, the sign ups for the games caught her eye, and she turned to her date and raised her eyebrows. "I heard there were games, right? Let's go beat some first years' butts."

Mentioning | his angsty situation
Drew always seemed to be behind his friends to these events, didn't he? The blonde entered the Midspring Festival to find his friends radiating their ever-present chaotic aura. He almost didn't recognize his friend Charles until he really took a good look at him. He was donning Cassie's style, but that was definitely Charles Alluring. And there was Cassie, though her clothes were much more plain than usual. And there was Rosella, looking almost like him. If she was taller and blonde and not as feminine and her hair was shorter and-
Well, she was dressed like him.
Drew exhaled a deep breath. He had convinced himself he was going to have fun at this ball. He was going to forget how his grandmother had kept information from him. He was going to push all the anger out of his brain and focus on tonight. He was going to have fun. Last time, he had fun. But then the tent had collapsed and his fun had been cut short with the knowledge that he had to leave.
He missed all the banter between his friends about if this ball was going to be a disaster, too. But he was definitely thinking it. What evidence was there to tell him that this ball was going to be at all successful?
Drew raised his chin and grinned at the sight of his friends. He wasn't wearing a single colorful thing. He was dressed up like Charles, donning black jeans, a plain black shirt, and a black leather jacket. He was wearing black high-tops. And as if he wasn't looking emo enough, he wore black socks. Drew had nothing against what Charles wore. He just thought it was a little ironic that black was all he wore. Since they were dressing up as each other for the ball, Drew had a free pass to overdo it a little bit. Drew hadn't known that he had black fingerless gloves until he found them in his trunk. (It was a thing that happened often, finding random stuff he didn't know he had in the bottom of his trunk.) So to top off all the lack of color, Drew was wearing fingerless black gloves.
As he spied his friends starting to leave, Drew realized that if he didn't walk faster he wasn't going to catch up to them. "Hey, wait up!" he called, sprinting to catch up with his friends. He slowed down as he came beside them. "Sorry I'm a little late," he said with an apologetic grin, but quickly moved on. "Y'all look amazing," he said honestly. They did. He spun. "How do I look?" he asked his friends. With a sarcastic glance at Charles, he asked, "So colorful, right?"
Drew followed his friends. The last Blossom Ball and the Fall Ball with Cassie and Charles had been very fun. Hopefully they would have some activities like those last two balls that they could participate in. Either way, they were going to cause a little bit of chaos tonight whether they liked it or not. That was just their thing. "I wonder what kind of activities they'll have for us this time."

She caught his attention immediately. The fiery red outfit, the bright red lipstick and the stunning hair was very noticeable. It helped that she was also taller than most other students, particularly the other girls. Perfect. For the future Hexwizard winner, she was the perfect girl to have by his side. At least for now. He had to make a good impression, after all.
"Damn, gurl, are you sure you're not straight?" Arjan teased as he eyed up the hottie in the red dress as she approached, not even trying to be subtle about the whole thing. She was hot on a normal basis but today, she looked even more gorgeous and he was not going to be subtle about that. He had definitely wasted no time in hitting on her on previous days - to the point where she had to make it very clear that she was not straight. Not that that would stop him, of course. He flirted because it was fun - who did not want to be complimented, after all! And the ultimate compliment was him saying anything positive about anyone else, right? After all, it was coming from someone as gorgeous as himself.
He gave her a wink nonetheless and a smirk, running his hand over his hair to make sure it was perfect as he looked out into the sea of students. Both of them were taller than the average student it would seem, giving them a nice advantage with their view. It was a perfect way to allow them to appreciate what needed to be appreciated. "Hmm? Oh yeah. There are two. Walking on fire is just a piece of cake though. The flying one looks decent, and has enemies that we can beat. But we'd rock at either, obviously. " He responded, not actually looking over at her since he was still busy looking for their next target. He did, however, spot the food table, at the very least. For a moment, he could not help but wonder what the food was. Rumours of a potluck had him a little worried. He came for good food, after all - not some random kid's terrible cooking.
Glancing over, he nodded towards the sign-up sheets, "Over there. Bruh, let's be fair. We're gonna beat everyone's arse at either," He added, knowing full well that he would not lose to anyone, even if they were fellow sixth years. Offering his hand to her - she was his date, after all - he would make his way to the sign-up sheets, giving her the quill to sign up first. No one can say he was not a gentleman!

I'm lazy to redraw this, but it's like that, the difference is that her hair is now short with pink highlights
