Asian cultures you are able to help represent IC and/or OOC: Japanese & Korean (IC) and None (OOC - Simply because I'm not completely confident, since I was raised as an American. I was adopted and am Korean, Japanese and Chinese as stated from a DNA test I took)

What kinds of club events would you like to see?: no ideas for anything specific, but some topics I think we could base events or activities around would maybe be different Asian languages, food, holidays, traditions, and history!

Asian cultures you are able to help represent IC and/or OOC: IC, Vienna is half Filipino. OOC, I am also Filipino! I am also one-fourth Japanese and partially Korean.

Asian cultures you are able to help represent (OOC): I'm ethnically Chinese and was born and raised in Singapore (in South-East Asia). Grew up with a pretty traditional Chinese background. I've also learnt the Korean and Japanese languages out of interest (to varying degrees of success).

What kinds of club events would you like to see?: We could create a cookbook together! I'm always looking for new recipes to try out, and it'd be so cool to see what everyone can bring to the table.
Asian cultures you are particularly interested in IC and/or OOC: I'm more familiar with East Asian cultures, but I'm totally open to learning about others!
Asian cultures you are able to help represent IC and/or OOC: Chinese culture for both! Gemima's whole family is Chinese, although I haven't decided what traditions or culture they have, if any. I'll admit I'm pretty out of touch with my ethnic roots--I was adopted from China, and then raised in the US. I hope to start getting back in touch with my heritage by learning Mandarin in the near future, though.

Asian cultures you are able to help represent IC and/or OOC: IC-Pax is half Chinese, OOC-both my parents were born and raised in Hong Kong, but they moved to the UK and that's where I was born and raised! I know a bit about my culture, but I'd love to know more about my own and others! (I also tried to learn Mandarin for a few years and am not sure how much I can retain!)

What kinds of club events would you like to see?: Certainly a private food festival of sorts, and perhaps a storytelling event involving folklore. Studies of books written by Asian authors and basic lessons in Asian language and philosophy are eager prospects, in addition.
Asian cultures you are particularly interested in IC and/or OOC: IC, Leonard is most interested in learning about traditional Asian food, Eastern philosophy (chiefly Buddhism and the major Chinese philosophical schools), and more about Mizrahi Jews, in no particular order. OOC, I’d love to learn more about other Southeast Asian cultures in general–including the food, of course.
Asian cultures you are able to help represent IC and/or OOC: IC, Leonard’s ethnicity is primarily Ashkenazi Jewish and Welsh, though he’s rather unobservant of the former, with his upbringing limited to the United Kingdom, and therefore he’s unable to represent any Asian culture better than natives to the region or those ingrained in the culture by any means. However, his muggle education has allowed him to have a good amount of knowledge in terms of general Asian history. OOC, I am fully Filipino and have lived in Luzon my entire life, though other members of my family are scattered around parts of Mindanao and have helped me experience some of the wonderful customs and celebrations there!
