To answer the question from 4 hours ago or so regarding Main Story. Main Story used to be something players would have a chance to get involved with if they were in a winning house for a given month. Not every month but every other or every third, some months there was simply money or cards. There were unfortunately issues with Main Story in that the players that contributed the most to a month's win felt that they were entitled to more attention than those that did not put in a lot of the points for the month. Unfortunately these threads are group adventures and what happens would happen to the group, I have no control over how involved other players make certain students feel. These players also wanted to know exactly what the activity/adventure was going to be before the start of the month that they attempt to win the house cup to be certain it was worthwhile. I had no way of knowing what an adventure is going to be because I do not know who will win in a given month. Also, sometimes I expect a certain sort of story to happen and the users in a thread do not take the hook so the thread ends up not being as disastrous as intended. There was also the request for prizes that they would actually want if they as one of the higher earners won, could take instead such as money. This list is brief in truth to the document that was submitted but ultimately what they wanted was not something I could deliver. I let the intended antagonist(s) die or move elsewhere to basically end those stories for people. However, these concerns did ultimately result in a change that the community has taken positively, that being the list of rewards for given months - money, cards, pets, brooms, etc.

This Hexwizard is in truth my final attempt at some sort of community-wide story. If it does not work out, it is fine. I made it as a result of a counter-population that felt less engaged in the community due to the loss of the Main Story because they felt that it pulled everyone together in some manner.

How you get involved with the associated stories? Well, participate in the events. We have the goblet, it is a simple writing prompt. Consider approaching one of the champions once they have been announced. In these balls and during summer camp, get to know people. These sorts of stories are to a level organic so I have no way of knowing where things will be in a few months as it is player driven except for anticipated adventures -- the trials. I also have some work with SCARAB/SCAR in the works as well as an additional roleplay prompt for interested players that will be more visible during the summer months.

Hopefully that answers most of the questions you have.
