yep! you can sell them, or if its anything like a broom or permission form you can use them in threads or to access areas.

also- anyone wanna help me decide on a ball dress? i've narrowed it down to six options hehe

Hi Marcel, yes the items do have value! You can sell them for slightly less than they can be bought for (I don't know the exact numbers). However, keep in mind that you can't sell the required school supplies (i.e. books, scales, clothing, etc.).

Like Vienna said, miscellaneous items such as brooms, prank items, Fake Permission Slips, etc. can be used (responsibly) in threads. For example, you can buy a Rock Friend and roleplay your characters getting and playing with said Rock Friend. Keep in mind, though, that you cannot roleplay your character having an item if you don't have it in your trunk. For example, you cannot say that your character is wearing the Cloak of Sky if you haven't purchased it from Gladrag's Wizardwear (a Hogsmeade shop).
