It's a long one rip xD
it started off all OOC. for some reason, instead of it being a website, HIO was kinda contained in my house (??). A new player was standing on the stairs (possibly ooc chat?) talking to nobody about suggestions she has for the site, so I went off to get the forums suggestions thread, which turned out to be a really long receipt-like piece of paper which was stored above the washing machine. I run back, trailing this really long bit of paper behind me for her to write on, and then when I get back one of the staff members is already talking to her. I kinda bounce around waiting to give her the suggestions thing or go up the stairs past her (not entirely sure which one), and then I give up and go put the receipt back. turns out the new member followed me and then she also follows me when I go up the stairs.
we go up the stairs and new member turns into ic @Faye Simmons and I think I turn into IC lucia. we go across the landing ans through an open door I see the ravenclaw common room, which for some reason is all flowers and really light shades of blue, and all the ravenclaws chilling on beanbags. *shrug*. we carry on and get to the huffle common room, at which point I think Lucia and Faye decide to play Minecraft (?) so they both go to get their computers from the dorm room (because computers work in Hogwarts now?). I think it must have been Faye's first day though because when they get there she just kinda collapses onto a bed and stares at the ceiling excitedly mumbling about how she mustn't break anything, especially not the toilet. (I have no idea lol.) Lucia laughs and tells Faye that she isn't going to break the toilet, and then they both go to bed and I wake up.
Faye would 100% play Minecraft, although i think she would fail quite easily on because she'd refuse to hurt any animals
Next time I write something with Faye, I am defo mentioning the toilet thing! That is so in character!
THANK YOU LUCIA'S MIND YOU ARE VERY SMART! This is my greatest achievement and has totally cheered me up since I've had a horrid couple of weeks

Yeah, if my Mum OR Dad joined (no idea why they would) or even a very close friend, I think that I would be upset if they judged me, because I made Clair and her life as a way of my own escape, I only planned on staying on the site for around a year, but I love Clair too much, so unless i have too i don't think I'll leave.Lizzy Solace wrote: 9 Feb 2022, 20:48 If, say, my sister or any of my other friends joined, I would be mortified. I try and make my writing something that I wouldn't mind people reading even if they knew me IRL. Like, I wouldn't want someone reading it over my shoulder or something lol because that would be awkward, but that would be the same for any writing i did. I think the only thing people could judge me for on this site would be spending my time writing and being a harry potter fan, neither of which i think are things that i should anyone be judged about, so i try not to pay much attention to when people do. in terms of swearing, OOCly I don't swear, so I have Lucia swear very little, and when she does I just say 'she cursed' or 'she swore' or something like that, I don't actually say what she said. my inpc doesn't swear at all. both of my characters are also very different to me, although they do have a few things similar to me such as Cassie being Catholic or Lucia liking reading.
haha i know what you mean about speech v writing aurelia! you get more time to think about things when writing, i find. plus you only write one thing, but sometimes with speech i end up trying to say two things or something and it comes out all wrong lol.

also my speech irl is not half as competent as what i write. mostly cuz thoughts are usually jumbled up.
