Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution

Juniper raised her hand and waved it. "Hey, I'm June. I've always loved music and singing and dancing to songs while jumping on furniture. Uh, I'm a master at singing really loudly. I can also play some instruments, but I'm still learning. I love rock and pop music because... yeah. Oh and 80's, 70's, too. " She closed her mouth, finishing her introduction to everyone. Ari introduced herself, and Juniper already knew him so she zoned out a bit. A band, what would you know? And Juniper, in one. There was already a singer, clearly. And Juniper wanted to play an instrument. Preferably something she could jump up and down to like she did at home.

She blinked to attention when Ari finished introducing himself, and she looked around at everyone again. She laughed at Ari's little joke, understanding the reference. "I know... a lot of songs. I guess. So whatever everyone agrees on Im cool with." She waited for everything to get to their own things before walking over to Ari. "Hey, Ari... so I want to play an instrument but the only problem is... I'm still kinda learning? So. I mean I'm okay-ish." She paused. Why was she saying this? She didn't even know where this question was going.

"So... yeah. I'd be happy to be a bass player! Since we don't have one it seems. " She cleared her throat awkwardly.

Listening to Ari and Kassie introduce themselves, Lizzy wondered when they were going to start playing and what they would be playing. A band sounded like a great idea, but she imagined it could get very chaotic very quickly without the proper planning and organization. Ari seemed pretty well put together though, so she supposed he would have some sort of plan for the five band members.

After everyone had introduced themselves, Lizzy tried to mentally commit everyone's name to memory. It would be quite embarrassing if she forgot someone's name or called someone by the wrong name. Ari and Kassie she had never met before today, but seemed like two people she would like to get to know. Simon and Lizzy were pretty good friends now, after a bit of a rocky start. Juniper, or June as she had introduced herself as, she had met a few times in the library, the training jamboree event, and they even shared a compartment on the Hogwarts Express together, so it was ironic that she had never really gotten to know her.

"So, I think it would be a good idea to have a little jam session. That way we can learn about each other's styles and techniques. If we're gonna play music together, we need to learn how each of us plays," Ari said. Lizzy nodded, "Sounds reasonable. I mostly just know muggle songs, but like June said I'm fine with whatever!"
