Sweets for Your Sweet
february 13, 2022. sorry for the wait!Ivy's eyebrows shot up with pleasant surprise at the name 'Pizza'. Now that she'd heard the name Pizza being bestowed upon a rat, she was wondering if 'Adelaide' was a bit too mundane for her cat. Maybe she should start calling her Tomato or Green Beans. Pizza was a cute name, though. Strange, but... still cute. A smile would be offered to the owner of the rat. "That's a sweet name," she said. "Or should I say, a savoury name?" Ivy laughed softly at her own lame joke, hoping that the girl would be kind enough to laugh along with her. Yeah, no, she was glad that she hadn't brought Adelaide... her pet would have definitely given both Pizza and his owner a scare. That would not have been a very good first impression at all.
She finished icing the lemon cupcake and put it down before adding a few strawberries to decorate it. It was no masterpiece but she thought it looked fine. "I'm Ivy," she supplied her name as the other girl - Serena - introduced Pizza to her. "And yes, I do have a pet. I have a cat, her name is Adelaide. She’s probably exploring Hogwarts right now." She left out the bit about her cat being slightly bonkers. It didn’t seem like a great thing to mention right now. ”What house are you in?” Ivy picked up a chocolate cupcake and started to ice it with chocolate frosting now. She wasn’t sure who she’d send these to at all, but whatever. She’d find someone, surely. Maybe her cousin Everly… or that nice Hufflepuff girl, Haven. Or…
She picked up a red piping bag. With it, she drew a sad face before writing “ew” underneath it as neatly as she could. This cupcake would go to the boy she disliked most out of anyone else in the school, none other than Felix freaking Jeong. ”Who are you sending your cupcakes to?” Ivy would ask Serena. ”I’m going to send one to my cousin and one to a… er… classmate.” She didn’t really want to just outright say that it was to someone who she hated with her entire being. It seemed like a little too much to mention. Everly, on the other hand, 100% deserved a yummy lemon cupcake. She would place both cupcakes in boxes and write the recipients’ names in her loopy, slanted handwriting on the tags before stepping back to inspect her work. Not bad for someone who had no idea what they were doing.Cupcakes made:
1. Lemon cupcake with cream cheese frosting. (for Everly Charlton)
2. Chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting + red sad face (for Felix Jeong)
Letters:Reducio1. [Meant for Everly Charlton] My dear cousin - hope you have the happiest Valentines Day! You're my favourite cousin, don't tell the others!
- Ivy
2. [Meant for Felix Jeong] Your face is ugly.@serena towers | wc fulfilled, staying for interactions.

interacting: @Dealla Prince & @Aly Salinger
Cecily nodded in approval at "Professor Stube's" cupcake. It was rather formal, just a smidge romantic. Aly had done a splendid job, even topping it off with two-- oh, just one impressive strawberry rose. Never mind the second one's casualty-- Cecily thought it looked quite professional with just the one on top. Definitely like a sweet delicacy one adult would send to another adult to show their mushy feelings. Or so Cecily thought. She didn't exactly have any precedent to go off of here.
But it seemed Aly and Dee had stumbled upon the weakest link in their plan: the letter. It was unlikely that any of them could replicate precisely her handwriting... but then, she was new around the castle. What were the odds that Professor Iwasaki already knew her handwriting by heart? It would be very romantic if he did, actually, but it seemed out of character for the stoic Head of House to go around memorizing his crush's handwriting. Cecily herself couldn't even picture it, and she had been in Professor Stube's flying class for multiple months! But it was probably cursive, and probably neat, and it would be tricky if any of them had to seriously change their handwriting.
It was this whirlwind of thoughts that Cecily was caught up in until Dee's voice met her ears. Cecily had barely even noticed Aly leave the table to go hunt down parchment and ink, but it seemed the Keeper had gotten sidetracked on her quest. "Short and sweet, yes," Cecily agreed, barely keeping up with Dee's monologue. She made a noise of agreement at Dealla's suggestion to join Aly at the Ravenclaw table, quickly boxing her carefully created confections and following the younger girl over to where Aly was sitting— no, standing— no, nearly colliding with Dee as she approached the table. Cecily couldn't hold back a laugh, particularly because no cupcakes were harmed in the making of the comedic moment.
Dee took a moment to collect parchment of her own, appearing to take this time to write her own letters for her recipients. Cecily joined her at the table, and, after a moment's hesitation, selected five sheets of sky blue parchment and a jar of black ink. She had spent so much mental energy on personalizing the cupcakes that each one would be accompanied by the same combination of colors. Glitter, however, would not be making an appearance on her letters... although, given the amount already sparkling on the table from previous writers, it seemed like she wouldn't have much of a choice.
First, of course, was Adam's. That would be the easiest to write, anyway. She dipped her quill into the ink, tapping off the excess, and began to write.
Taking a moment to reread, she decided it was good enough. She would probably see him before he even got the cupcake anyway. There was no need to spill her heart out on the page, although she would need to ask him about his preferred flavor, just so she would know.@Adam Harringtom - red velvet w/ cream cheese icing & chocolate sprinkles.
Reducio"Happy Valentine's Day! Thanks for always sticking by me. Somehow I still don't know your favorite cupcake flavor (this seems like vital best friend information), so I went with a classic. Enjoy!
Your bestest friend,
Cecily"
Next would be one of her favorite younger students, her best brain on the pitch, Sylvain. This would be her chance to show the deep appreciation she felt for all the help he had given her over the past couple of seasons.@Sylvain Wyllt - chocolate w/ strawberry icing & coconut, blueberries.
Reducio"To the best Co-Captain a Ravenclaw could ask for— Happy Valentine's Day! You've brought so much to this team since you came aboard, so to show my gratitude, please enjoy this Cupcake of Appreciation. May it bring us luck!
— Cecily"
Following that would be another teammate, her Chaser buddy and sneakiest cheater: Lavinia. The recipient of he favorite cupcake of the day (besides the one that would be going in her own stomach), the citrus smiley.@Lavinia Cloven - chocolate w/ citrus icing & chocolate chip eyes, orange slice smile
Reducio"For the best Chaser on the team: a very happy cupcake. May it bring us the best of luck in our next match. Happy Valentine's Day!
Your partner in cheating responsible and legal Quidditch plays,
Cecily"
Almost done. The next letter would be for the Head of House himself. Cecily felt pressure on this one, needing to get it just right. He was rather intimidating, after all.@Professor Iwasaki - marble w/ chocolate icing & lots of rainbow sprinkles.
Reducio"You seem like a rainbow sprinkles kind of guy. I hope I've put enough on this cupcake to adequately express my appreciation for all you do!
— Cecily Quinn"
Leaving the worst for last, Cecily quickly scribbled out one last note, a note of spite and pettiness aimed at her least favorite person in the castle: Ruby Cazares.@Ruby Cazares - lemon, hollowed out, unfrosted.
Reducio"You're the worst."
Notes completed, Cecily folded each one and placed it under the corresponding box. She wished she had a way to attach them so they wouldn't get lost or mixed up— twine, tape, something of the sort— but she couldn't see anything suitable. She supposed she would just have to trust the professors to do their jobs properly. Hopefully some poor unassuming someone wouldn't get the Hate Cupcake by mistake.
Cecily nodded along as Dee began to recite a letter, crafting a short but lovely spark to a blossoming romance. "Very smooth, very smooth," Cecily replied with a grin. "I like it. I hope Professor Iwasaki is a Quidditch fan." But who wouldn't be?
will be updating the post with handwritten letters, uh, when i get around to it.
| C. Quinn | and until we meet again. |

Nicky hopped into the great hall with a huge grin on her face. She didn't really care much about valentine's day but she did care about sweet things and making the people around her a tiny little bit happier. She was hoping that the cupcakes she was about to decorate would brighten someone's day. The little girl made a beeline for the hufflepuff table, with an intention to make as many presents as possible. She was very afraid to forget at least one of her friends. She picked up several chocolate cupcakes and boxes at once and set them aside, then got to work.
The one with the chocolate icing and strawberry toppings was meant for Addie.
The one with peppermint icing and almond topping was for Henry.
The one with whipped cream and strawberries was for Simon.
The one with vanilla icing and chocolate chips was for Rafa.
The one with strawberry icing and candy was for Juniper.
The one with vanilla icing and candy was for Scarlet.
The one with chocolate icing and candy was for Cody.
The one with whipped cream and strawberries was for Sylvie.
She made a very thoughtful face, trying to remember if she forgot anyone, then she picked up a vanilla cupcake, decorated it with whipped cream and chocolate chips, addressing it to Robert. She still felt bad about beating him in a duel and sending him to the hospital after they had so much fun fighting each other.
Then another thought crossed her mind. She blushed and threw it aside. She was not sending a cupcake to Geoffrey Donovan the cute first year. He didn't even know she existed. It was time she forgot about her stupid obsession and focused on the people who were actually there for her. However, she did take one more chocolate cupcake from the pile, decorated it with vanilla icing and decorated it with chocolate chips, addressing said cupcake to her head of house:whistling: She just wanted to show how thankful she was for how amazing their house was and how wonderfully it was run. She also sent another cupcake like that to the transfiguration professor who was her favorite one so far.
Then Nicky got started on the letter. She picked a nice piece of brown parchment and wrote a short message on it in pink ink:
"Dear person who reads this,
I'm just sending this letter into nowhere, hoping that it finds you well and happy. This letter is not going to have a recipient because I want a random person to have a little bit of happiness. I hope you know you are an amazing human being who deserves all the love in the world and more. This is just another small reminder of your awesomeness. Have a great day!
xoxo
-Nicky"
She put the letter in an envelope and wrote "to any random person" on it. Hopefully, it would find the right student and put a smile on their face.

Sweets for Your Sweet
Calm down? How could Junhee feel anything but estactic?! She was hyper and she hadn't even touched the sugar. As her friends knew, Junhee was a good fanatic. But what Junhee loved more than eating food was sharing or giving it to others.
She looked over all the tables filled with students already at work, writing, baking cupcakes, and chocolating or chocolateiring? What ever it was called. Junhee knew exactly what she was going to do. She off to work, first arriving at the Hufflepuff table full of cupcake material. She was going to makr something she knew was delicious. Also one of her favorites, strawberry shortcake inspired cupcakes. They were not too sweet but none the less delicious!
Junhee plugged in her headphones and set the mood, "Cherry" by CL and "Ice Cream" BlackPink was just what she needed. With that she set to work.
First, make sure you have all the ingredients for the vanilla cupcake base.
Flour, check, granulated sugar, check, baking soda, check, baking powder, kosher salt, check, unsalted butter, check, eggs, check, vanilla extract, check, sour cream, check, strawberries, check, and milk, check.
Great! All the ingredients were all called for, and an over abundance to be exact. Junhee started by preheating the oven to bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Junhee had learned from her mother to always preheat the oven because it will be ready once the cupcakes are all prepared.
Alrighty, time to knock out these cupcakes, Junhee thought. She pulled on her plastic gloves and tied a apron around herself.
Junhee made sure to be exact, cooking wasn't something you could guess at. She learned that the hard way, she got a good size bowl. Junhee thought it was adorable especially because it was pink with red hearts. She set on measuring the dry ingredients, pouring one at a time mixing it well. Setting that aside she grabbed the wet ingredients, measured and mixed. Since she and her little sister always watched baking shows, Junhee knew that using only egg whites always made the cupcake lighter and fluffier.
The oven made beep to let Junhee know it was all heated and ready. Junhee lip synced the lyrics to "Weekend" Taeyeon while she gently folded the wet ingredients into the dry making sure not to knock out any air. Junhee took out the cupcake pot and set the cupcake liners in, they were red with pink and red hearts.
She carefully poured each one into the slots, she was making 2 dozen cupcakes. Junhee wanted to make sure she had a lot so she could give away more cupcakes. She grabbed fresh strawberries she washed each one under cold water then dried them. Junhee cut off the top of the strawberries, and taking them like a triangle she pressed them into the cupcakes in the pot. Now whenever anyone took a bite of the cupcakes they would be greeted by fresh, crisp, sweet, strawberries. She made sure to set some strawberries aside for decoration.
Junhee put them in the oven, and set the timer. She awaited for them to be down, she made sure not to open the oven in case they lost air. She didn't leave in fear they would burn if she left.
It felt like forever but finally the alarm went off, she took them out and set another timer for cooling. (Of course she also turned off the oven.)
While she was waiting Junhee noticed Gemima at the Slytherin table making delicious chocolate. She looked like she was having a lot of fun, Junhee was glad about that. The cupcakes finally finished cooling, she took them all out, still in their liners, and iced then with vanilla buttercream, and a strawberry on top.
Junhee went to the Ravenclaw table were everyone was writing letters. Junhee was Anti-Romantic, but she had good friends so that was who she was writing too. She got started:
@Gemima Sable
@Winter Wolfhartz
Junhee couldn't help but feel nervous, all she could do was hope they liked it.

Sweets for Your Sweet
Valentine's Day. A day full of pink and spreading love. Vale didn't really understand why such a day should exist when she's always spreading her own form of love to her friends. Maybe she had to involve the color pink for it? Who knew. Apparently the adults did. Which is why they set up this whole thing.
ActionReducio- @ReducioFound in post. NoteReducio- OutfitReducioIn Slytherin uniform.
At least there was one thing, well a few things, that Vale can do. And that was making cupcakes and some letters to her friends.
The cupcakes she made first and foremost, and Vale made them in a way that reminded her of her beloved friends.
The first cupcake, she made for someone who came very quick in her mind:
@Hunter Argentum
A cupcake made with cheesecake flavor and cream cheese. Blue toppings of various degrees were also placed on top of the cupcake. One could say it was signified to the Ravenclaw house's main color.
A short letter even was involved with it:The next person, Vale found easy to do:May your enemies suffer at your hands as they realize they are no match for you! You should come to my party for Easter break! Time you meet my family yourself!
- Vale Ashwood
@Liana Kerr
A cupcake made with red velvet and vanilla icing. Its toppings were that of strawberry. Maybe Vale did it to what she knew of Liana's personality. Or maybe she did it because she hoped to sneak a cupcake into her mouth before anyone noticed. Whatever it was, she had it made.
She even made a letter for the girl in question:Another girl was next. (And most definetely not another attempt to sneak a cupcake into Vale's mouth.) This was a girl that excited Vale back during a friendly duel match among friends:You're very smart! And very sinister too. You and I should hide a body together someday! Oh, and you're invited to my party that happens during Easter break!
- Vale Ashwood
@Maggie Hawkins
A cupcake made with lemon flavor and citrus icing. It matched, as far as Vale knew.
There was also a short letter for this one:@Hildegard SchneiderYour bloodthirst and destructive abilities are envious! Wanna come to my party during Easter break?
- Vale Ashwood
This cupcake was made with chocolate completely; both as a flavor and as a icing. Even the topping was chocolate chips.
The letter written was a bit different to the others, but it was friendly in gesture:Now, Vale would realize as she went further onto her list of people that it was getting a touch harder now to write to. But she was determined to keep going.You make it clear to all those who you define as an enemy, that they have a reason to think as such. So cool! But, isn't it a bit lonely? I think it is. You should come to my party during Easter break! There'll even be cake!
- Vale Ashwood
@Hui Ming
A cupcake made with vanilla flavor and vanilla icing. And coconut shreddings. Give Vale a break, she was sure it'll please Hui Ming.
She made a small letter for him, which was just as plain in color:And there was one more person to write to. That was none other than...Ashes says thank you again! Wouldn't leave me alone about it. You should come to my party during Easter break! I swear there'll be alligators too!
- Vale Ashwood
@Avery Chen
A cupcake made with marble flavor, and peppermint icing. But she didn't do just that, no. She even added a whole strawberry on top (that she almost try to eat herself). The cupcake was specialized, as it showed.
A letter that went with it was even pink and had some glitter to it:Vale finally felt finished with what she wanted to do, and set her creations away as instructed. It was a lot of work, but to her, it was worth it. All her wonderful friends were. It would only cross her mind and wonder if there were people making her cupcakes and letters too. The thought was exciting for her. Maybe one person did at least!Thanks for going to the Fall Ball with me. It was quite lovely. Maybe we can go together again next year. Wanna come to my party during Easter break too?
- Vale Ashwood
Maybe she'll learn during the tea party tomorrow.

Interacting with:
Mentioning: @Marius Brown
@Finley Grey @Aurora Accola
@Lizzy Solace----------------------------------- Date: 13th February 2022
Outfit: x Adelaide never really put much thought into Valentine's Day. Sure, the idea of it was cute, but it never really interested her that much. Still, when she heard about a Valentine's Day event in the Great Hall that involved sweets, she wasn't exactly going to say no. The Ravenclaw still had people that she loved platonically, and now was as best a time as any to give them something to show her appreciation.
Making her way over to the Hufflepuff table, she grabbed a vanilla cupcake and strawberry icing. She swirled the icing on top of the cupcake, and grabbed a strawberry to place on top. This cupcake was going to go to Marius Brown, a boy who had heroically found Nina when Adelaide thought that she was never going to see the kitty again. Even though he said he didn't want anything in return, and he had honestly likely forgotten that their interaction even happened, Adelaide still wanted to give him a little something to say thank you. She packaged the cupcake and scrawled 'Marius Brown' on the attached tag before setting it off to the side.
Next, she grabbed two chocolate cupcakes and buttercream icing for both of them. She done the same swirl design and added chocolate chips on top of both of the cupcakes. These two cupcakes were going to go to Finley Grey and Aurora Accola. She hadn't seen either of them in a few months, but since they were her first friends at Hogwarts, they still deserved a little something. She hoped they were both doing okay. Adelaide packaged the two cupcakes separately and scrawled 'Finley Grey' and 'Aurora Accola' on the two separate tags.
The last person who was going to get a cupcake was Lizzy Solace, because Adelaide was a very petty person and even though this was a day for love, the blonde would absolutely love to give Lizzy a 'hate cupcake'. So, she grabbed a lemon cupcake and cream cheese icing. She swirled the cream cheese icing on top of the cupcake and added a few shredded coconuts onto the icing. This was the weirdest, probably most disgusting cupcake she had ever saw. It was perfect for Lizzy. Satisfied, she packaged the cupcake and scrawled 'Lizzy Solace' on the attached tag.
After her beautiful creations were made and packaged, she went over to the Ravenclaw table to write the letters.
To Marius Brown:
While I am aware you said you didn't want anything in return for finding Nina, I thought today was a perfect opportunity to give you a little something to say thank you. I hope you like vanilla and strawberry, because this is going to be very awkward if you don't. Please don't worry about getting me anything in return, because this is my way to say thank you and I don't expect anything back.
Signed,
Adelaide Barlowe
To Finley Grey:
How have you been? It's been ages since we've last saw each other! I hope you're doing okay, and you didn't just disappear out of no where. We really should meet up again sometime soon, but this is just my way of saying thank you for being my first friend at Hogwarts.
Signed,
Adelaide Barlowe
To Aurora Accola:
I hope you're doing okay, I haven't heard from you in a while. Here is just a token of my appreciation for being my first friend at Hogwarts! Since we met in Diagon Alley, you really do deserve that title. I hope to see you again sometime soon!
Signed,
Adelaide Barlowe

Finally, to Lizzy Solace:
You may be wondering why you're getting this letter from me. I still don't like you, but I decided to give you a cupcake for Valentine's Day. It's lemon, tangy and bitter just like you! It's also cream cheese icing, which I have never tried, but sounds disgusting. It suited you perfectly. I hope you have a horrible day!
Signed,
Adelaide Barlowe
She put all the letters in an envelope, and added glitter to Lizzy's one so the girl was greeted with a glitter explosion when she opened the letter. Adelaide hoped the girl would be cursed with glitter all over herself for hopefully, the next week. She grabbed all the cupcakes and letters and placed them on the Gryffindor table, before leaving the hall.Thread left.
Word count: 721/400Cupcakes made:
A vanilla cupcake with strawberry icing and a strawberry on top for Marius Brown.
Two chocolate cupcakes with buttercream icing and chocolate chips for Finley Grey and Aurora Accola.
A lemon cupcake with cream cheese icing and shredded coconuts on top for Lizzy Solace.

Sweets for Your Sweet

With minutes to spare, Avery rushed into the Great Hall. He was due to be at quidditch practice in the next 20 minutes, and he wouldn't finish making his sweets or writing his notes if he didn't hurry! With a quick glance, his dark eyes took in the cupcakes that still needed piping and toppings at the Hufflepuff table, and the various cauldrons for chocolate bark on the Slytherin table. At once, he discarded the idea of piping buttercream onto cupcakes -- they would only end up a nightmare of dripping cream and crumbling cake within his fumbling hands. Snatching several bars of dark chocolate, he immediately staked out a cauldron of his own and dumped the bars into the quickly-heating pot. He decided to be efficient: There will be plenty of chocolate bark for everybody; enough for his many friends!
As the chocolate began to melt, he headed over to the Ravenclaw table with no time wasted, selecting some pieces of cream parchment and dark blue ink before schlepping it all back to his cauldron. There, he set up his workstation and began to write rapidly, whatever popped up in his mind. Mind you, the notes were a bit unfiltered and random at times -- just enough to match his frenzied pace and mood.
To his best friend @Hui Ming, he would write:
To his bunkmate @Henry Knight, he would scribble:You are my best friend, but I'm so sad we don't really hang out anymore. I remember the days when we would study, chuck tomatoes, and do everything together, but now I hardly see you. What the heck has been keeping you away from me! I'd even be willing to help you with your parents' homework, you know! If you'd just let me. Your (hopefully still) best friend, Avery.
To his quidditch friend and teammate, @Maggie Hawkins, he would jot down:You're like a brother to me. I've learned so much from you since coming to Hogwarts, and you're always there to support me. You really see the best in people. I'm so so sorry about the dungbomb. Will you please forgive me? - Avery.
To his smart, pure-blooded friend, @Liana Kerr, he would scrawl:Name your game and I'll beat you at it, whatever it is! Anyways, always appreciating your spunk! It makes me want to get better at whatever it is we're competing at. But, remember I'll always beat you in the end! - Avery.
The chocolate was already bubbling, hard. He better finish up soon, or he'll have a dry brick of inedible bitterness! Or something.Hoping this cute chocolate bark will help you loosen up a bit! You've been so down in the dumps lately, that I feel like I need to try extra hard to make you smile for once. Chin up! Rudolph has a red nose and you have red hair so you guys match! Enjoy. - Avery.
He took a deep breath and scribbled his last note to @Vale Ashwood, thinking about their burial adventure and the Fall Ball. He wasn't quite sure how to write or express his emotions so that they formed actual words, but he eventually jotted down whatever he could possibly grasp:
There were still many more notes he wanted to write, but time was up. He glanced at the violin-themed watch that Henry gifted him, and saw that he only had a couple minutes left. With much speed, he poured the contents of his cauldron into a tray, then broke a few pretzel pieces to form reindeer antlers, some googly eye candies, and red M&Ms for reindeer noses. Confident that the house elves would know to break the chocolate pieces so that each piece had a reindeer face, he set his tray and letters onto the Gryffindor table.I had a great time getting to know you better last fall! Somehow, I remember each moment spent with you being fun, one way or another. Here's to hoping for an even deeper friendship this year. Perhaps we can go to another ball together? I would love that. - Avery.
With that, he darted to the quidditch training pitch.

Sweets for Your Sweet
Interacting with: Pizza Rat & @Ivy Bellamy
She could not help but join in on the laugh, "I like that," Serena grinned at her with a nod, "I may have to steal it," She added, deciding that it was a good joke. Perhaps she should introduce Pizza Rat in that way. Tell people he's sweet - or rather, savoury! Yes, yes, she could see it now and she loved it.
Taking another cupcake, she started to ice over it as she listened to Ivy talk about her pet, "Aw, bless. I'm not sure I would trust Pizza alone. He likes to, well let's just say, get in trouble. I'm in Hufflepuff though, and yourself?" In truth, Serena had no idea how many cupcakes to make or exactly who to send them to. When she thought of Valentine's day, and how it was supposed to be all lovey-dovey and whatnot, she thought of one boy that made her stomach flip too much and her heart pound way too loud. However, she also knew that she needed to get over him and move on.
"Oh- Uh- well-" She stumbled as Ivy asked her the question she did not have an answer to. The younger girl went on to explain how she was going to be sending one to a cousin and another to a classmate. Right... Serena pondered for a moment, trying to figure out exactly who to send hers to. She had a lot of classmates...
She looked down at her cupcakes. She had three of them. Three cupcakes, all entirely different. Serena stared at them quietly, pondering if she should send them all to one person or up to three different people. There was always the option of making more too, though she had no idea who they would be for. With a sheepish expression, she looked back at Ivy, "I'm not really sure... I think... Maybe some friends?" Serena replied as she took another cupcake.
Before she knew it, there were five cupcakes in front of her. Deciding that one of them should be for her and the other should be for Pizza Rat, she decided to include them in Hugh's cupcakes. She could totally steal them from him later. He would, obviously, share with her right? They were like besties! Sort of. Er well, she liked him. She was not entirely sure if he enjoyed hanging out with her or just pitied her but he did it anyway, "Yeah, I'll just send it to some friends that come to mind," She decided, grabbing some tags to write names on as she placed the cupcakes onto the tray.
She lettered 'Hugh' on the first one, 'Rosie' on the next one and then paused. Her hand hesitated over the third one. There was a name that came to mind. The same person who she had been thinking about this entire time, even if she did not want to admit it. Writing it felt like an admission though. Her hand hesitated a little over the piece of parchment. What would she even say to him? Well... now that she thought about it, perhaps she did not need to say anything. Sighing, she lettered 'Howard' onto the last one.
She finished the cupcakes off, topping each of them with different toppings to try and match their icing or cupcake flavour. Deciding to keep them all very simple, she just went with one topping on each. Though she had no idea if red velvet was made with this sort of icing or worked with sprinkles but hopefully it tasted good.
"Hm. I might go write their letters, though - if you want to come with? Or did you want to make some of that chocolate stuff for them too?" Serena asked, pointing over to the Slytherin table where the chocolate bark was being made. She had no issues joining Ivy there and making a bag of chocolate to go with their cupcake. That might actually be pretty cute... But if not, she would go to write their letters. Honestly, Serena figured that the letter part would be the hardest.
What the heck was she supposed to say to Howard?
Letters for moderation purposes:
Reducio1. [For Hugh Lowe]
--- Vanilla cupcake with strawberry icing swirled over it and pieces of freshly cut strawberries
--- Marble cupcake with vanilla icing that looks a bit like a rose with chocolate chips
--- Lemon cupcake with citrus icing and orange flavoured candy
Letter:
I know these cupcakes are pretty small for such a big guy but hey, I make you enough as it is! I don't know why given that you like to throw them away! However, maybe you could try eating this instead? I'm just teasing, please don't make me do drills! Oh, and you have to share with Pizza Rat. This is why you have extra - because you obviously love him and want to share with both him and me. Thanks, big guy!
Love,
Serena J. Towers
2. [For Howard White]
--- Chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing in a heart and chocolate chips
Letter:
I feel like sometimes, you don't realise just how incredibly amazing you are and that sucks. I am sure that you'll be swamped with so many sweets, chocolate and cupcakes today from your many many admirers but in case they got eaten before they got to you, here's one to remind you that you are incredible. You're the kindest person I know, whether you realise that or not.
Yours,
A friend
3. [For Rosie Parker]
--- Red Velvet cupcake with buttercream icing with sprinkles over it
Letter:
Life is pretty sweet. Why? Because what more can I really want in life than good friends and cupcakes? This one isn't as sweet as you but hopefully, it tastes good! Thank you for being such a great friend over the years.
Lots of love,

Sweets for Your Sweet
Marina had not planned on attending the sweets for your sweet event but when her plans for the day were suddenly canceled. Marina decided to enjoy the decorating fun.
Marina walked over to the Hufflepuff table deciding she would rather do cupcake decorating than making chocolate bark but maybe she decided if she finished early, she would do both. When Marina arrived at the Hufflepuff table she selected the chocolate cupcakes to decorate. For the icing Marina decided to do a mix of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and mint. Grabbing a spare frosting bag, she combined the four flavors together. It looked pretty bad not at all like the swirled ice cream look Marina was going for, but she went with it and began icing her cupcakes anyway. When she started icing her cupcakes Marina realized how ugly the mixed up frosting was and instead, she decided to use the strawberry icing. Marina had iced all six cupcakes and she thought they looked beautiful. So, Marina moved on to decorations she decorated the cupcakes with a rainbow of different sprinkles. Marina also added coconut shavings along with chocolate chips. Once the decorating was done Marina placed the cupcakes in the white boxes and labeled them it took her a moment to decide who to give them to at first, she considered bringing them to trivia club meeting when she created that club, but Marina decided that by the time her trivia club was official that the cupcakes would no longer be edible, then she considered keeping all of them for herself, in the end she came to the conclusion that she would send five home to her family and one to her friend Victoria so after labeling them she set off for the Ravenclaw table to write her letter. When she arrived at the Ravenclaw table she brain stormed what to write for a while. Finally, she just wrote a classic normal letter to her family and one for her friend Victoria too. Once she had wrote the letters Marina taped them to the cupcake boxes after this, she walked over to the Gryffindor table. Marina was amazed at how many students had already finished their cupcakes. She carefully placed her cupcakes on the table not wanting to drop them and ruin them. Once her cupcakes were on the table Marina left the great hall with the spirit of Valentines Day in her heart.

Sweets for Your Sweet
|| Interacting with @Dealla Prince and @Cecily Quinn ||
I know the errand is over, I'm just rounding out my storyline!
✿✿✿
Nodding along as Dee and Cecily brainstormed ideas, tossing them back and forth much like her cat Dauncey would a stray mouse in the Ravenclaw common room, Aly tried to think of some unique things to add herself, things to make this letter sound more and more like it had been written Professor Stube instead of three giggly, idealistic Ravenclaw girls ranging in age from thirteen to fifteen.
Like a bolt of lightning arcing down from the sky, inspiration struck her, and she straightened upright almost instantly, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "A Quidditch game's all well and good, but Professor Stube's American," she pointed out with the grin of an inventor who has just come up with the idea that will write their name in history for the rest of eternity. "We should add something about Quodpot in there! That's the popular Quidditch-ish sport in America, right?"
Without even waiting for the girls to reply, Aly scrambled to pick up some plain cream-coloured parchment and dark black ink. She had seen Professor Stube's handwriting a small handful of times, on homework assignments that the professor had handed back with little comments written in the margins, but she doubted she would be able to replicate it perfectly. Still, she knew the basics: the Professor wrote in small letters that were halfway between print and cursive, strung together by tiny, almost unplanned lines of ink, and though her sentences weren't quite illegible, they were certainly bordering as such on occasion.
Trying her best to keep the Professor's handwriting in mind, Aly carefully dipped her quill into the inkwell and touched the tip to the parchment, then began to swirl her hand about in an imitation that she hoped was passable of the American's calligraphing style. She certainly did not add a speck of glitter; Professor Miriam Stube didn't strike her as the glitter type. With Dee's and Cecily's suggestions running through her head, trying not to feel strange about duping her Head of House into having a Valentine's Day date, Aly slowly wrote:
After quickly blowing on the parchment to get the ink to dry, Aly tucked the note under the strawberry-rose cupcake she had decorated "from" Professor Stube. Standing from the table, she collected all of her own boxed-up cupcakes into her arms, adding the aforementioned letters to each and ensuring that the proper letters were matched up to the proper cupcakes. She beamed at Cecily and Dee.Letter #6
ReducioDear Marcus,I hope your Valentine's Day is coming along well. I noticed that you have a nice smile, although you don't seem to use it very often. Maybe this treat will help. Also, it's no Quodpot, but would you care to watch the next Quidditch game with me?Sincerely,
M. Stube
"This was absolutely wonderful, but I do have to run - got Charms homework to do for tomorrow," she explained, trying to balance all six cupcakes in her grip without letting any of them fall or get smushed. Keeper grace was certainly coming in handy right about now, though she doubted she could juggle them should they fall from her grasp."I'm going to go drop these off on the Gryffindor table... see you two in the commons later!"
And with that, Aly bustled off to do just that; soon her cupcakes were on the table - five knowingly from her clustered together, and one "from" the new Flying professor, carefully and deliberately located far down the table so that her impersonation couldn't be linked back to her - and she was sweeping out of the Great Hall, a very Aly-like grin on her face.
It was the season of love, after all, and she was sure that Professor Iwasaki was going to love his cupcake and note!
Who knows? Maybe he and Professor Stube will make a good match...
✿✿✿
Got the description of Professor Stube's handwriting from Prof. Stube herself!
Aly has left the thread.
