because if it was a day, or an hour, people would just check the map every day, or every hour. you don't get many people checking it every three days, so it's pretty reasonable

The dungeons open up in year 2, the underground map opens the basement. I think that was meant to be undone, but when I sold my map, I lost access. Upon buying it again, I had access again.
