that sounds so cool pei! i love fantasy books n/a haha. i have about fifty thousand that i wrote like 500 words of and then abandoned, but my most recent one involved a secret magic community whereby the main character had so little magic that she was practically non-magical, but it turns out that that's actually her main strength and not a weakness after all. it has a lot of creases to iron out if i ever want to actually write it lol, it's very vague at the moment

Well, to be quite honest, everyone imagines the characters from books differently. But, 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?'s adaptation from the classic book by Philip K Dick is JUST how I imagined it. You might wanna read the novel first, though.

Oof, I feel that! I've been working on this one idea since I was 14 and now I finally filled the logical holes And after Freddy Carter wrote that he wants to read it, I will not drop it until it's done >(

ive written my own story called 'a cold day in hell' it was really out of pure boredom but I enjoyed it and I created my own creature called the barbanoba lol I was thinking of creating a second one and if I do I'm sure ill be adding a few of your guys's names to it if you'd allow it!

I mostly write short stories; in fact, I posted the first chapter of a mystery book I was working on a few days ago on Hio, in the City of London. It's called Finding Surcross. I had to modify it to make it magical, but that's mainly the first chapter. Basically there's a teenager, lives with his rich archaeologist/collector uncle and is told to go find some person (here it's Surcross) who has what his uncle want: an ancient scroll. I plan to take it all over the world. Peru, India, the Philippines, England, etc. I've only written about 5 thousand words though: three chapters on paper. Only one chapter is typed out.

thats awesome i just enjoy writing and it takes up time so its a two in one deal for me

i've had the idea of a novel in my head for a few months, but i can never bring myself to write it. i have a plot, i have characters, i have a setting - i just feel like i'll ruin it and lose passion for it if i actually try and put it down on paper. it's set in the real world; as much as i adore reading fantasy, i don't think i have the creativity and patience to come up with my own original worlds. it's so awesome to see other people working on their novels here! it gives me inspo to maybe work on my own one day haha.

Hey, it occurs to me, why doesn't someone create a club? For sharing of novel ideas? And for helping people write their novels!
