Logan sighed as she leaned against Henry, continuing to think about what he said as she sat for a moment. Silence surrounded the two of them for that moment, except for the occasional whisper of a student or flipping of a page. The peace was allowing Logan to think, without having to worry about what someone else was saying or whether she was missing something important around her.
"I guess you are right," she whispered, "I should not be worrying myself over these things." The Hufflepuff sighed, looking back up at her best friend with a soft smile on her face. She really should not have been worrying herself with this, making a big enough deal that it had stressed her out to no end. If she had just thought about it rationally, or talked to Henry sooner, she would have been able to figure it faster.
Deciding to change the topic slightly, she thought it was best if she asked Henry how he was doing for once. "How are you doing Charm, and please be honest about it." She looked up at the boy once again, this time moving her hand over in an attempt to pet Loki instead. News traveled fast around the school and it was no surprise that Logan had heard about it, mostly because the girl had been one of her dorm mates. She was not as saddened as Henry about the death of the girl, but she really wanted to know how he was feeling about it, although not wanting to bring his mood down too much.

The moment was peaceful which is strange. Strange how moments before Henry found his best friend hidden away with silent tears and now the two sat in silence. Understanding silence. Softly smiling, Henry leaned closer to Logan. Touching her head with his as he took slow steady breaths.
Listening to her words. Henry squeezed Logan's shoulders, unsure what say. A part of him wanted her to voice these opinions, to allow herself to worry so he can help but another part agreed with those words as he spoke"their easy to worry about, that's what friends are for. To pull you out of the abyss of worrying," smiling toward his best friend. Meaning every word that he muttered. Henry wanted aid and help his best friend, he would always be there for her. To listen or pull her out if needed.
Silence filled the room. Resting aginest Logan, Henry took slow breaths. Finding the momenrs quiet and perfect. A sudden realization that since returning to school, this has been one of the first moments where Henry sat in peace with another so dear to him.
Loki looked up toward Logan, licking her hand as a thank you for the attention before turning back toward Sherlock. Rubbing aginest the fellow feline. Loki stretched out besides him, flickering his tail as he licked Sherlock's forehead. His orange tail settling next to Sherlock's, touching his tail.
Henry smiled at the scene then turned his attention toward Logan, smile fading when the words hit his ears. Unsure what to say or how to phase it. The teen leaned his head aginest the shelf as he took a breath speaking"manageable," a breath, the teen hadn't gaced these emotions about Alexa head on with another since finding out about her death with Simon. The teen gazed ahead, hand squeezing Logan's shoulders as he spoke"I experienced death before but this- this feels worse, I blame myself when I know I shouldn't," eyes ahead. Face blank. The teen stared off into the void for a moment.
Shaking his hair back, Henry looked over toward Logan offering her a soft smile as he spoke"enough of me, this is about you. What else is in your mind? Worrying you?"

Logan smiled softly down at Loki and the fact that he and Sherlock got along so well, it was nice that they had each other. Glancing up to Henry, she gave him a sad smile. She knew he had liked her and felt bad that he had lost someone else in his life, she also knew that there was not much she was going to be able to do to convince him that it was not his fault. The most she could really do was be there for him like he was there for her.
It did not surprise the girl that he did not want to talk about it too much, instead letting him change the subject back to her. "I am worried about the boys. They are at home with the tutors most of the way and other than owls I have no really good way of making sure they are okay. I should have gone home to check on them but I did not want to talk with my father. I do not want them to resent him." Her brothers would be starting at Hogwarts the next year, she did not want their final free time at home most of the year to be miserable because they were angry with their father.
The Hufflepuff glanced up at her best friend with a soft smile. Other than Elsian, Henry was really the only other person they trusted that was not in their family or someone they interacted with consistently. Even though their first time meeting was not under the best of circumstances, the boys still saw Henry as an older brother, something Logan was thankful for.

Henry didn't want to worry Logan and his heart ached when he kept things from her, the teen just found it difficult. Difficult to speak about Alexa. About someome he cared about, who he was close to and their death. The feeling that one has after losing another, knowing that they'll never see or speak to them again is something that Henry can't put to words. Can't set his mind on. At least not again.
Henry listened to Logan, gently squeezing her shoulders as he nodded. Listening. Wanting to help, not just her but also her brothers. Henry offered a soft smile as he spoke"your forgetting that they have each other, they each have someone to talk to and cry with if needed," Henry always liked her brothers, a part of it because they were twins like him. Twins can have a magical connection beyond the thought of what others assume and Henry thought that his best friend's brothers hold that connection.
Smiling, Henry squeezed Logan's shoulders as he spoke"letters are sometimes the best we can do and I'm sure yours are helping your brothers, plus when they see you during the summer holiday with your father then they won't resent him. Don't worry about them now but look to habe a brilliant summer holiday with them then." Softly smiling, Henry held Logan's shoulders wanting to help the girl. His first friend at hogwarts and now his closest, his best friend. The teen trusted Logan with all of his heart, only wanting to help her and yet a part of him didn't worry about the two departing or separating.
Henry smiled at Logan, she felt like a sister almost. As silence grew, Henry thought for a moment then spoke"your still visiting my this summer, your brothers can come to and the rest of your family if you want," the teen knew they didn't have the Christmas holiday together but they still had the summer.

Henry was right, the twins had each other and in the end, they would be okay. They always knew when there was something wrong with the other or if one of them just needed to talk. Sometime Logan would get jealous of the boys, growing up they always had each other and were great at making friends, almost always going to visit the neighboring muggle family to watch movies and play games with their children. Logan did not have that, other than the other kids at dance and competitions, she was never really able to make friends as easily as the boys or have someone to talk to.
"I guess I am still able to help there from afar," she muttered as she slowly adjusted to allow her to wrap her arms around the taller boy. Henry gave really good advise, and the Hufflepuff was glad they had met each other in this very spot their first year. She honestly did not know where she would be at know if he had not decided to become her friend. The girl honestly thought she would just be that one student who sat in the back of the room and no one really knew about. "The boys probably already have plans for this summer, they almost always make plans."
Logan really hoped that this summer would be better than the last, maybe taking the boys to see Henry would do them some good. It would not be just leaving to spend time with a family member, it was going somewhere new where you would at least be able to experience something for the day.
"I will definitely be coming, probably will bring the boys as well. They will want to tell you about how excited they are to attend Hogwarts next year." She could not imagine how the boys were going to be eleven in a little over a month. They were so excited and had talked nonstop about it in the last letter they had sent her. "Just think, there will be three Bairds here starting next year."

"You are, trust me. Even if you don't realize it, you are helping them by being the best older sister the two."
Henry replied with a soft smile, feeling Logan wrap her arms around him. The teenoves his arms to hold the girl in his own, leaning slightly aginest her wondering where he would he without her. Wondering if he hadn't came to the library that one day nearly three years ago then would they still have met, still would have became best friends? The teen wasn't one to believe in faith or density but a part of him felt like the two meeting and becoming best friends was sort of written to be.
Henry listened to Logan, smiling a little as he imagined whay plans her brothers would have. A thought formed in his mind as he remembered a box of prank items that Annabeth had- has when she left. A part of him didn't want to let anything that belogs to his twin go but another part of him knee what his twin would do with the hox as he spoke"in your next letter to them, tell them I have a box of prank things for the two that was Anna's." Not bringing himself to continue as he thought the two could enjoy the contents of the box maybe even on their father's girlfriend... smiling softlt at the thought and how Anna would respond to that.
Henry held Logan a bit tighter as he replied "I look forward to all three of you then, even if you have a designated room already," laughing a little as hw held onto the girl finding it strange how this moment changed in a minute. Listening to the girl, he wondered what houses her brothers would be in as he spoke"what houses do you think they'll be sorted in?"

At the mention of a box of prank stuff for the boys, Logan let out a quiet laugh. Oh the boys were going to love that. She only hoped that they would not attempted to dye her hair again. "The boys are going to love you," she told him as she looked up. She could only imagine the amount of trouble the two of them were going to get into with the box of joke stuff. The Hufflepuff had seen what they could do and knew that some of their pranks could be absolutely awful.
A smile had formed on the girl's face at the thought of having a designated room, she had never been this close with someone before and it made her happy that she had someone she could depend on that was not her family.
"Gryffindor or Slytherin." was the Hufflepuff's immediate response to the question of what house the boys would probably be in. "Neither can pay attention enough to figure out the riddles for Ravenclaw and I can not see the boys getting into Hufflepuff. I know they wanted to be in Gryffindor for the longest time, but I do not think they really care at this point. Maybe they will even be separated between houses. I can see the trouble they could cause now."
Just the thought of the boys being separated into two different houses caused the girl to shiver. They would be separated, but it would give them more leverage to prank more people.

Henry smiled at Logan's comment, he didn't think that her brothers would love him for sending pranks and mischief items. He thought that they would love Anna, for the items belonged to her and not he isn't that sure what to do with them. Figuring his twin would perfer it going to her two prodigies than to collect dust.
Henry smiled toward the girl as he spoke"they should thank Anna since it was hers," the teen never enjoyed taling credit or be thought of as different. He figured that she would give her items to the two so that's why he isz plus Logan's brothers always seem fun and like two budens of energy to Henry.
Smiling, the teen couldn't wait for the holidays now instead of dreading them per usual. Smiling toward Logan, glad they met all those years ago and hoped- wished that they would remain best friends for more years to come.
Henry listened to Logan, he always wanted to attend Hogwarts with his siblings. He remebered how Anna and him planned and couldn't wait to learn magic together until the day finally came... the day that separated the two twins. Henry didn't focus on that fact much anynore, he had friends and saw Avery has the younger brother that he never had. Plua he was pretty sure that Logan's brothers could work to, smiling a little as he thought. Next year Logan and her brothers would be at Hogwarts.
"well if they do get in slytherin, I'll watch out for them for you," Henry replied wondering hiw Logan would feel about her brothers and him being in the same house. Spending time together without her possibly. He tried not to focus on that. He was here for Logan, to help her.
