You can collect money every day from the common room, which you should definitely do. It's free money. If you can, try and collect it around the same time each day to get it as much as possible since it's a timer.

You can also do errands, as some of them will have money as rewards (it tells you beforehand so you know which ones to do).

The other way is getting it through the house cup, if your house or you become a top earner. This link tells you the rewards for the month so you know which month to "win", depending on what reward you want.
