My uncle is flying in from Philidelphia. He was there visiting from England (he lives in England). I've never met him before.
Cody, my whole body hurts, but my heart hurts worst of all, physically and metaphorically.

The crazy thing is that I swore up and down for majority of my life I was going to become a heart surgeon, but dad talked me out of it because he knew I was too squeamish. I understand that now. My stomach is definitely not strong enough.

I am so sorry to hear what has happened. It is a lot and there might be this weird numbers for a bit. Things don't feel real and while you may think or others may think that you should feel certain things in a certain way and express them a certain way, know that whatever you are or are not feeling is normal. How you express it is normal. You are not going to be the same as others in how or when you mourn and that does not make you bad, wrong or strange. Also know that other people who are mourning may mourn differently too. They all will express things uniquely and all are right.
