It was unfortunate that Lucia apparently anticipated the attack coming from Ileen and sadly her other wind jinx was dodged although her aim had been almost perfect.
The young girl wrinkled her nose, slightly frustrated. At least Hanako had hit the girl as she had been distracted by Ileen. Yes, she would take full credit for that.

She snorted slightly amused by her partner's comment and gave him a smirk. “Good idea, that will help for sure.” She leaned in a little and gave him a meaningful look. “But however, you can thank me for saving your butt. Again.” If Lucia had her wand she would totally focus Hanako down.

Lucia opted not to go off in search of her wand, keen to play a game of evasion against the two Slytherins. The matter of hitting the Hufflepuff should have been simple, shooting a single fish in a barrel, but this barrel seemed to be large and this particular fish was agile and nimble. Ileen and Hanako would find that both of their attempts at Flipendo went wide of their intended target. Lucia would come out unscathed from the exchange.

Inwardly, Thomas wondered how long such a game could be played by the badger. What exactly was she waiting for? Was she counting on one of the Slytherin's spells to fly askew once again? For now, she found success, but how long would it be until either of the Slytherins anticipated where her dodge would place her? The Ravenclaw hummed quietly to himself as he awaited such an outcome. He had little patience for observing a war of attrition, but Thomas did find himself to be interested in the girl's thought process.

Hanako merely rolled his eyes at the girl's words, not liking what she implied. Who was she to say Hana would be k.o-ed if Squidward Lucia still had her wand? Only Hana could say that. While she may be true, it still irked him, obviously.

Wow. Alright, this was what he got from being so cocky earlier. Victory seemed so close until just a few minutes ago, where Squiddy evaded both of their spells with ease. Now, usually, Hanako would find that hot. People evading spells looked wonderous when they did so. But thinking back on all that happened during the duel, Hanako was in no safe position to be having the hots for Squiddy’s evasion.

Ileen merely held back a chuckle as her partner didn’t respond to her teasing words. Maybe he knew she was right after all. The fight club, the fall ball secret… They already had some events that bound them together somehow.
Lucia however, didn’t give up the fight yet. She was wandless, sure, but quick on her feet. Ileen hated it to focus on someone who was more or less defendless, but that’s how it works. She didn’t make the rules.
It was like they had jinxed it. After such a strong start they seemed not to hit her anymore.

Spells were slung, not left and right but certainly more than one crossed the stage. Ileen missed her attempts at blindfolding Lucia, as the Hufflepuff stepped out of the way with the grace that she had been exhibiting for the past good while. It seemed that the other Slytherin on the piste, Hanako, had grown tired of her evasive maneuvers, deciding to put a definitive stop to them for quite some time. A powerful Arresto Momentum crossed the stage, and Lucia found herself unable to dodge such a spell as it struck home. She'd feel considerably slowed, all of the dexterity she had previously felt dramatically diminished. It was as if she was stuck in slow motion, or perhaps swimming through mollasses.

Unpleasant, no doubt. Thomas found himself wondering how the remainder of the duel would play out.

God, evasive people are so hot and annoying at the same time. Unlike their last strategy, they decided to say ‘screw luck’, and opted to get rid of that disgustingly gorgeous evasion. No incendio II or flipendos this time? How upsetting. To make up for his noodle arms and weak stature, he liked to keep his spells to offensive ones. Yet, he could not shake off the lack of impact from the last round. 2 flipendos and no damage. The embarrassment! While he looked far more unenthusiastic in his spell casting this round, he managed to shoot a spell out of his wand anyway.

He first noticed Squidward dodging Ileen’s spell, feeling a sense of irritation bubble up in him. He didn’t like it one bit. Both the irritation and her evasion. Yeah, she was hot doing it, but for how long did she intend to do the same thing? Was she trying to seduce both him and Ileen with her fluid dance moves? That could work, honestly. But not this round, no. Right now, Hana was more irritated than enchanted.

Perhaps the irritation seeped into his wand, for he felt nothing but rare determination to just strike her down already. To his utter surprise, it landed perfectly and powerfully. Immediately, his frown was replaced with surprise. He took a quick glance to Ileen to make sure it wasn’t actually her that shot that spell. No? It was him? He did that???

Immediately his mood lightened. He was now surrounded by imaginary rainbows, unicorns and sunshine. Arrogance flowed snarkily through his short lived chuckles as if they had never been lost. “ I told you Squidddyy~ Give up or stay still~ Doing neither? It’s alright! Just helped you with that~” he laughed again, even louder than before, possibly making him look a bit cuckoo. But the opinions of others could not bother him less.

Once he calmed down, he turned back to his partner with a wide grin. “ Did you see that? Did you see what I did? Gosh, I’m so awesome. You're awesome. We’re awesome.” With Ileen throwing Squiddy’s Lucia’s wand to god knows where, and Hana’s slowing charm? No more graceful dancing. With her face, she could probably dance nicely even with the motion of a snail. But he’ll determine that in the next round.

It was unbelievable! Of course, it was a devastating situation for the Hufflepuff girl, but how long did she want to drag out that duel? She should surrender or go for her wand. But maybe there was a strategy there that the young Slytherin simply didn’t understand. However - it was time to end this.
With a simple blindfold she would stop that annoying dodging and force an ending, right? So, with this mission on her mind, she raised her wand and aimed properly. The spell was powerful and decent, but again, the quick Huffle stepped out of the way.

Ileen was just about to snort frustrated as something amazing happened. Her partner, Hanako, hit Lucia with an even more effective spell.
Both of them blinked as the slowing charm took effect. Ileen was impressed and her dark brown eyes sparkled, as she turned to the boy. He seemed to be as amazed as she was - especially considering the words he used.
A grin curled Ileen’s lips. Yes, they really were awesome. Their teamwork was amazing. Who had expected that? “Nice! Good job, Hanako! And great taste in spells. Let’s finish this!”
