Hufflepuff vs Slytherin: Match 2
Illowy couldn't blame Starlee's aim for being a bit off. Honestly, it was an achievement in and of itself that the second year was even still on her feet. But she'd accounted for it, with a dash of luck. Obviously Romero was going to do everything she could to avoid the incendio; but it was luck that she would move perfectly into Illowy's line of fire. The Puffball didn't have a chance as the older girl blew her away. Not a single spell was throw back toward them this time. Absolutely beautiful.
The snake cast a glance at her partner, still wanting to make sure she was upright. Truly, she was powering through like a little champ. Colour Illowy impressed, "Yer doin' great, Kennedy. Just keep it up." she encouraged.
I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

She wasn’t exactly sure why she expected them to let her find her footing, and in that moment of vulnerability, the Slytherins jumped. She stumbled out of the way of Starlee’s fire making spell, but Illowy was poised and ready. Tina’s robes were caught in the wind jinx, and she struggled to remain standing as the gusts of wind beat the thick black fabric over her arms and legs.
“Come on! I wasn’t ready!” She protested even though there was no foul play, and found herself hopefully glancing to Dealla. SLYTHERIN EMERGES VICTORIOUS
It felt like the duel had been in a precarious balance since Julian had been taken out of the equation. On one side, @Martyna Romero facing overwhelming odds but holding on despite of it. On the other side, @Starlee Kennedy, who had seemed ready to tip over for the longest time now. Something had to give.
As before, the Vipers abandoned defensive strategies, both wands again aimed at Martyna. @Illowy Magnard loosed an expertly cast Knockback Jinx, while her younger partner cast a magnificent jet of green flames.
Martyna's ability to evade was still impaired, and it showed. Both spells coming at her were well-aimed, barely left room to dodge. Her own spell was meant for Starlee, fire as well, perhaps in an attempt to take her friend down with her, but it was easily evaded, while both of the Slytherins' spells struck true.
If Starlee's flames hadn't been as perfectly cast, perhaps Martyna could have held on a bit longer, but as it was, she was pushed backwards to the floor, unconscious and aflame.
Dee let out a long-held breath. "Stop!" she called for the second time, then quickly extinguished the flames eating at Martyna's robes. She waved the healers forward before turning towards the two Vipers and the audience. "Slytherin has won this duel! Please congratulate Starlee Kennedy and Illowy Magnard on their victory." A quick smile at Starlee and Illowy through the applause. "Well fought." Then, taking another look at Starlee, she called for another healer to look at the girl, she looked to be close to collapsing. Illowy, on the other hand, was entirely unharmed. She had shown impressive skill today.
