Opeila scowled when her spell missed the Hufflepuff. What was she doing? Why did she even care what Dmitri bloody Jones thought? He certainly didn't care about her opinion, it was time to stop sharing it. Not worth getting distracted now.
Opeila took a deep breath and shook off her irritation. Game on.

The Slytherin Captain let out a small growl as an Incendio grazed his left hand. It was not—by any means—what Dmitri would consider a devastating blow, but it was annoying nonetheless.

And it stung.

"How dare you." He remarked icily before letting out a spell of his own towards their lone opponent. It was a generic Flipendo; not quite as powerful as the previous one he had cast but it certainly did the job, hitting the Hufflepuff girl right in the shoulder.

Dmitri wasn't one who fell back on regular, mundane spells—and it'd surely reflect poorly on him, resorting to a knockback jinx—but this duel hardly required creative thinking.

It was just a matter of time before they won.

At this point, Callista was just glad her spell actually hit the target. No one expected her to come back and win the duel, and she certainly didn't think so either. Let it be over soon. Preferably not painfully. Although I guess that's not possible in duelling. Then... let me be knocked out really quick like last time so I won't be able to feel my head hit the floor. Despite the situation, the second year let a small smile flicker across her face. Call me crazy, but I'm expecting you to come up with a great, creative way to knock me out. None of that Flipendo nonsense.

Callista was ready to face both of the vipers and she would actually manage to land a nice hit on the oldest of students, who ironically seemed the least elusive. All three students were on the same page with which spell to use as now it was all about damage either due to panic or due to the vipers desiring to deliver the last blow gracefully. While Dmitri did not look anywhere near passing out, he clearly had taken a beating from the little badgers, younger students that despite their apparent disadvantage had managed to take a big chunk away from his health, his stamina fading and breath possibly ragged at this point.

And just like this Dmitri and Opeila would deliver the final blow, it truly was as if striking down a cornered prey that desperately used their last strength to fight back. Both knockback jinxes would connect with Callista, gracing her rib cage and shoulder as she collapsed down to the stage. "Stop the duel!", Alan would quickly call out, fearing for her getting hit once more in the heat of the moment, as a pair of Kelsey's assistant student's would move fast to remove the passed out girl from the piste. Alan wasn't sure whether he was happy with the result of this duel, it had seemed immensely one-sided and the disadvantage had been too apparent to call it fair. He'd step on the piste, straightening his posture before giving the vipers a nod with a smile. He was happy for Opeila, the girl was an acquaintance to him after all!

"The Viridian Vipers claim the victory, this match has concluded. Congratulations to Slytherin!" After this he would make sure to shake both of their hands, as protocol and etiquette would demand of him and he would make sure to tell Dmitri to see the medics about the obvious wounds he took away from this duel.
