Jürgen would rush Hugh Lowe, he was not able to take the part giant on his own. He was outmatched in terms of strength and Galton had withheld the Gryffindor his wand, so magic had become a no-option so all he had was a means of restraint. He would attempt to whirl around the larger student, he was astonishingly fast but his lanky form ad hinted at a speedster. Only his buzzing and darting about would be brought to an end as a massive pair of hands reached down for him, his legs bound but his arms were free and he made good use. Snatched from the ground, Jürgen was picked up by the head and dragged to Hugh.
His meaty digits would tighten their hold, Jürgen would attempt to struggle free. His teeth gritted as Hugh's grip grew tighter. With a squeeze, nothing would yield less Jürgen's skull. A terrible pop, a snap, a guttural cry of pain, Hugh had broken Jürgen Hess' head.
Jürgen cold smell the blood that filled his sinus' and could taste the iron that filled his mouth. The world warped, his existence temporarily crushed, he could feel the crunch and the break. Woozy, bleary. Not wholly defeated, Jürgen would attempt to stumble away, out of Lowe's reach and attempt to retrieve his wand.

A slap across the back of Victors head rang true, leaving him with a nasty sting as he continued to fire away at other students. Whatever his intention was Gray couldn't care less anymore. For all he knew it was probably a petty dispute not worth getting into. Grumbling every swear word under the sun he slowly turned his body around and began to walk away from the chaos, uninterested and sick of resolving an endless battle.
Instead, his attention was drawn to Erin. Everyone seemed to be surrounding her as she prowled like a wild animal, trying to sink her teeth into anybody she could find. His and Sans thoughts were right, she really was turning into the very thing that had haunted hogwarts for years. Just looking at the girl made his shoulder tingle, almost as if it was trying to remind him of something that never happened. Whatever it was trying to tell him, it seemed to be stemming from Erin herself. Gray slowly lowered a hand down to his wand and gripped it tightly, trying to stop his hand from shaking as he slowly approached the scene.
Something deep inside of him was trying to ward him away, telling him it was a bad idea to do such a thing. Instead, it was drawing his attention to a girl close by. Percival rested his gaze on a more than familiar girl who was watching not too far away, an individual who hated him with every part of her being. That student was Willow Anderson, and right now she was all alone. His attention had all but been lost on Erin, now it was all about Anderson who was in the perfect place to strike.
Unknowingly grinning to himself, his feet were about to move in her direction until he heard a shout from close by. Santario had made her presence known by shouting a word of warning to both him and Jack Burnett. All of their suspicions were right, this wasn't Victor Moore, but a hag slug filled version of his former self. Gray opened his eyes wide and snapped a look at Moore, who still had his back to him. Santario had never lied to him since they first met, out of all the people here he would trust her with his life.
Gray let out an angered growl at the fact he couldn't spring his surprise on Willow, but the night was still young yet. With a shake of his head and a last glance, the prefect roughly began to push past multiple party goers, nothing bothered by the slightest if any of them were injured due to his determination. Literally fighting his very will he stood behind the dead man and hesititantly aimed his wand at Victor "VICTOR!" he yelled to gain the boys attention before gracefully swishing his wand "Immbolus!" in an attempt to restrain and prevent any further harm to the other students.
If the spell landed true the boy would suddenly look unsteady on his feet and only regain his composure when he put a hand on someone's shoulder "Restrain Victor and keep him down... do not let him out of your sight" the flushed and messy boy would grunt to the surrounding students, his head turning to the floor to hide a gag from almost being sick

"Oh," she just smiled back, slightly furrowing her eyebrows when Aldor assured her that she didn't take long. Is he really being honest? or just saying for her satisfaction? she didn't know how true his utterance was as everytime, he arrives first before her. The blonde nodded looking at him when he agreed with her on the decorations. Suddenly Freyja caught her attention and when she was about to pick her up, she got distracted by Aldor's words and at that instant started blushing. Looking down at her clothes, "uh... um... really? Thanks" she giggled as she smoothed her dress repeatedly to avoid looking at him and murmured, "You look great too".
luckily, her friend Samantha bailed her off from the abrupt ruddiness being witnessed by Aldor. "Sam!!" the blonde shrieked and pulled the Ravenclaw into a hug and "I missed you" released her from the hug. Tho they both had a class together a few hours ago, it was so much exciting to meet Sam again and again in new new settings. Vivian hid her chuckle when Samantha greeted Aldor, trying to be nice to him but she usually gets annoyed whenever the blonde talks about him to her. "Thanks-" she twirled around and stopped as she realised Aldor's presence beside them and gave a nervous laugh, "You look adorable- and wait! is this dress inspired by Ghostbusters?" as she gaped at her friend. "Don't be, this is Freyja, Al's pet, isn't she cute?" as she finally picked her up and gently scratched her head.

[font=Monotype Corsiva]After taking a rather long detour around the school, contemplating merlin knows what, Enzo finally stepped forth, arriving at the annual fall event. He could not quite believe that it was already exactly a year ago that he had attended one of these Hogwarts balls with the Monet girl. Perhaps these occasions weren't as bad as he liked to let on, for he was indeed back for another round, and even on his own accord this time. His mother would surely be impressed.
Unwilling to add anything bright-coloured to his wardrobe, Enzo was dressed in a suit that was fully black, which he then paired with a long dress coat over top as well as a watch that was secured on his wrist with a dark brown leather band. Nothing too special, but nonetheless made him look chic in his own humble opinion. Though this was in truth, a formal event, so to make his look a little more fashionable, he decided to add a little jewelry. A small set of golden rings adorned his fingers, being the finishing touch, and pulling his look together nicely.
Looking around at where he had found himself, and after only briefly inspecting the set-up of the place, he started making his way over to the quidditch pitch, where an enormous tent stood.
How different this was from the last ball, though he supposed that just this time, it was only fair to put his opinion on hold until he got a better view of the festivities.
Pulling up his sleeve, so that his watch was visible and he could check the hour, Enzo realized it was much later than he had anticipated.
His tardiness usually would not have bothered him in the slightest, however, he had told Val he would be there, so he should have paid more attention to the clock. Well, better late than never, one could say.

Henry looked over his shoulder, he felt worried leaving Rose and his beloved feline; Loki back at the ball but it would only be for a few minutes and they were together.
Taking a breath, the third year held his wand in his left and loosely followed his captain to the festival not knowing what to find but expecting the worse.
Hogwarts balls tend to end in disaster or find it's way to chaos, one of the reasons why Henry didn't want to stay long at the place but it seems things were taking a unsettling turn.
Coming to a halt, Henry looks over the scene. There seemed to be multiple sides and spells flying, the boy who should be dead; Victor Moore was with his dorm mate.... Henry thought Jack was sane and smart but now seeing him attempting to help a boy that was suppose to be underground and turned his wand on so many classmates. Henry wasn't sure what to think as he moved his eyes toward Gray, another dorm mate who had his wand aimed for Victor.
Two sides. The question was which was right and which was wrong? Henry took a step back trying to decide that same question as he turned his gaze back at his dueling captain.
Something seemed strange about the girl as he watched her talk to Jack but aim her wand to another, curious what the captain and Thomas Lestrange was discussing but unsure what to do next.
There was chaos but what would Henry do? He looked around, wondering who he should a his wand for and what he should do. Moving his eyes back to his captain, wondering if he should aim his wand for whoever her target was... that was when another sight caught his eye.
Someone, the slytherin quidditch captain was bleeding. A odd sight but Henry knee what he had to do as he took the short steps toward her aimed his wand for her injury as he spoke " what happen here? Is that a bite mark?" The size was a bit harming to the third year ad he cleared his throat, aimed his wand then softly spoke " ferula."

"Oh! Really? Wow, that's just-"
She gave him a cheeky, cheesy expression and a pair of thumbs up. Was she constipated? Gassy? Exit stage adjacent...
"so cool. And totally relatable. I had a few plastic crowns when I was two years old, you know- but I won't brag.."
"What is... play-stick?" A legitimate inquiry, a crown made of some material he had never heard of. "Mine are made of brass and silver, some gold plate," Gold being far too heavy for his delicate neck to endure. Little did she know, his interest was piqued in this muggle item - play-stick.
"Right, so, I'll just-" An awkward exit, her index finger pointing away...not necessarily in the direction of the table... "Go get that drink."
She would run off and then start complaining to some other random gent, Lin Evanvleck. He adjusted his sash and his crown and followed with a slight strut.
He would tell her the oh so important tidbit where some boy had expressed interest in the midget girl. Yes, even a guy as petite as Giddy was able to refer to some unfortunate people 'short.' life. "Cody..."
Code-E, sounded like some pragmatic title for a project. Not some boy, he looked more fitting a Smeagol than a Code-E but thats muggle parents one can suppose, naming their children after objects like Reeds and Rods.
"Don't worry about him. He's a... what you posh people call people like him?"
"--a pedestrian?"
"He hath no more brain than I have in mine elbows, or whatever that quote is."
He knew his literature, a many thanks to his tutors, a boon of a charmed life. "Thou sodden-witted lord! Thou hast no more brain than I have in mine elbows; an assinego may tutor thee: thou scurvy-valiant ass! Thou art here but to thrash Trojans; and thou art bought and sold among those of any wit, like a barbarian slave. If thou use to beat me, I will begin at thy heel, and tell what thou art by inches, thou thing of no bowels, thou!?" An inflection of a question in his quote, a statement where Shakespeare called someone dull and brainless. She just called Cody an idiot rather than a commoner. "Just dumb, I see..."
"For the record, we are not together. At all. We're just... next to each other. Talking."
She took it a bit too personally. The reasoning obvious, "she doth protest too much." He commented to Juniper's friend, Lin Evanvleck. Nothing wrong with stirring things up just a little bit. "Name's Gideon but I prefer Giddy," he announced with an extended hand. "I have not had much of a chance to meet my peers, candy" he made a saccharine offering to the stranger.

Percival stood in front of the mirror in the shared dorm bathroom. The boy frowned into the mirror as he adjusted his tie straight once more. He did not know what to expect at this ball. It wasn't as if this school had a good track record of balls going smoothly. Memories of the last fall ball floated to the surface of his mind as he stared into the black pits that made up his eyes. Percival had been to two different fall balls during his time at Hogwarts, and both times had gone to flames far too quickly. Swarming mosps and broken hearts. Nothing good has ever come from going to one of these balls. The boy blinked at his reflection before moving out of the bathroom and down towards the grounds. His eyes caught the time realizing that he was not only late, but very late. Cursing under his breath the boy hurried towards the ball.
It was a wonder how Ileen had convinced him to go with her. Though, if he were, to be honest, it hadn't taken much on her part to convince him. Maybe that was why he had so readily agreed to go with Ileen to the ball. The want to keep her safe from yet another disastrous event. Though, he would be lying if he said that was the only reasoning behind his agreement. In truth, he found himself wanting to be around the girl more and more often.
The wind hit his cheeks harshly as he walked towards the grounds. His gaze followed along the trail of intricately carved pumpkins that gave off a warm glow. It was as calming as it was creepy. Putting him on as edge as much as it reassured him. The boy glanced towards the sky noting the growing mass of clouds. Though maybe it wasn't really growing as it was moving towards him at a slow pace. Almost as if it were stalking the event.
Percival glanced about the area trying to figure out where his date had run off to. They had agreed to meet at the entrance of the event, but he could not make out the girl's familiar figure anywhere. A frown crossed his lips as he glanced about more sporadically in an attempt to locate her quicker. Had she set him up? It seemed far unlikely especially coming from Ileen. Just as he felt the pain of disappointment, his eye caught a familiar figure. "Ileen!" he called rushing up towards his frozen date. "What happened? Get your hands off her, dead boy!" he snapped at the group of students about her. Focusing in on the one who had shot the spell at her. Rage pulled into his features as he realized that his tardiness had put Ileen in danger. It was far easier to blame those around him than to blame himself. The boy gritted his teeth pulling out his wand in a quick jerky motion. Pointing his wand towards the boy who once had not lived amongst them. Rage making him inwardly seeth. He wasn't too sure why he found himself reacting so strongly to seeing Ileen immobilized. It wasn't as if she had been particularly hurt. Maybe it was the helplessness of it all. Trying to put back the pieces of what had been lost. Whatever it was he found himself despising the whirlwind of emotions that pulled at his heart.

When the announcement that another fall ball would be hosted at Hogwarts spread, Lavinia immediately wanted to ignore it. The last and only ball she went to was the spring one and it would have been an understatement to say that it was full of love. Not traditional love though, love potions. Lavinia was one of the first victims of it and it lead her to try and kiss a first year student. Then it seemed like she spent the rest of the ball trying to make sure no one made the same mistake as her which didn’t work out too well. The night ended with her confused over real love was and disappointed in herself that she didn’t do enough to help Haley out.
Now the fall ball had arrived. Lavinia had been very hesitant about whether or not she wanted to go and ultimately the decision was made by a meal time conversation. She had eaten lunch with Elena shortly after the announcement and was convinced to attend the ball with her as friends. Lavinia was still a bit confused as to how Elena kept convincing her to step outside her comfort zone but couldn’t really complain in the grand scheme of things. Going to school events was overall good for her even if it set her hairs on edge.
Since Lavinia had weeks to prepare this time, she was able to put together a nicer outfit that somewhat fit the theme. The theme was Samhain which was similar to Halloween but had many more fires. To be fair, Lavinia never really dressed with the themes that the dances had. For the last one, she tried to take inspiration from the theme to come up with her own cool outfit. That was the same thing that she was attempting to do with this ball outfit. After some research on the theme, she found a dress that embodied the dark colors with stars and looked absolutely gorgeous. Even if she didn’t enjoy going to balls, she definitely enjoyed dressing up for them. The dress Lavinia was wearing was deep blue with short sleeves and a flowey skirt. It had almost a corset style top that just pulled the whole look together.
As Lavinia started to get ready a few hours before the ball, she realized that something felt like it was missing. She had the dress and shoes but wanted to do something a little different with the hair. She wanted to play into a Halloween costume a little bit by adding a bit of her muggle magic. Taking out a newer deck of cards from her trunk. Lavinia set out to make a playing card headband in just a few hours. It turned out to be harder than she expected. To make it the way she wanted it to be, she needed to size some cards down and magic them into positions where they almost seemed to be floating. Hard at work with her card headband, Lavinia forgot about the time and when the ball started.
The original goal was to get there at the beginning, find Elena, and stay out of the way of whatever crazy stuff may be happening. However, Lavinia lost track of time making her headband and when she didn’t finish, her plan would not work. Finally finishing the headband, Lavinia looked up to see that the time was 6:30, which meant that she was already 30 minutes late to the ball. Rushing through everything else she had to do to get ready, Lavinia found herself ready to go to the ball. Feeling really bad that she left Elena there alone for so long, Lavinia hoped that nothing bad happened to her while speed-walking to the grounds.
Arriving upon some decorations and people, Lavinia knew that she was in the right place to find Elena. To be honest, she had spent so much time working on her outfit and rushing to arrive that her brain hadn’t gone into overdrive about all of the bad things that could occur. Spotting some pumpkin decorations, Lavinia looked out for the one person she had agreed to meet. Lavinia felt so bad for being around an hour late and wondered how to even make it up to Elena. Already seeing the crowd of people that had gone crazy, Lavinia shifted her attention away before her eyes locked with a girl in a black and white checkered dress.
Rushing over to Elena, Lavinia took a moment to calm her breathing before starting to apologize. “I am so so sorry for being late Elena, I thought that this headband could come together quickly but it didn’t and I apologize.” Lavinia said quickly still somewhat in rushing mode. Looking at Elena’s outfit, Lavinia loved the choice of the pink flowered heals and the flower in her hair. “You look amazing Elena, I am in love with those boots, where did you get them from?” Lavinia asked kindly while adjusting her body so that she was away from the insane group of students.

Rett and Ret | OPEN
Someone had been glaring holes into the back of his head, apparently. It didn't take long for Felix's gaze to shift from Arjan over towards the older Gryffindor boy (@Alec Mason). Ah yes, his spin-the-bottle partner. He was wondering if the boy would manage to recognize him. He had grown a lot the past few months. It looked like he still had a vendetta against him. Felix had tried to be nice and apologize, but the guy had just cried and called him dumb.
His attempt to puff himself up with oddly adorable and he had to bite down on his lower lip to keep himself from laughing. Yep, he definitely wasn't over it. Alec should have just punched him and got it over with. He stared back at the boy, before winking over at him. A picture would have lasted longer, darling. He was finally distracted with his date, a tiny male student (@Hanako Tone). Well, apparently Felix just hadn't been Alec's type. He seemingly liked his men scrawny and pocket-sized. To each their own.
He wasn't too worried about the brick wall of a kissing partner, however. He was grumpy because of Arjan's (@Serena Towers) presence and the lack of Ret's (@Levi Drakos) own presence. Thankfully Arjan would soon disappear to go Merlin knows where with his dance. Felix felt the tension in his shoulders release. The Collin kid (@Cody Stevenson) had also decided to ignore his comments, so it seemed like all of Felix's issues were leaving on their own.
Then Ret (@Willow Anderson) reappeared, she had changed her form to the one she had greeted him with on the day they had arrived at Hogwarts. Testing out her new powers, it would seem. Felix's lips curled into a rare smile, it didn't matter what gender Ret was, she was always beautiful. Although he was still getting used to this form. "It's fine, whatever you're comfortable wearing." He reached forward, attempting to take his date's hand. "As I was saying, I need to ask you something." He tried to continue, but was interrupted when Ret suddenly shoved the sunflower necklace he had so carefully picked out for her into his hands.
"... What?" Too much to explain? What the hell was she talking about? All a ruse? Ret was around here somewhere? What?! Felix stared in horror as the boy who was supposed to be his date for the evening launched himself at another guy (@Rafael D'Spacito). His hand clenched the sunflower pendant, his knuckles white and the metal digging into his skin. What was he meant to do? Punch the obviously stronger guy and tell him to get away from his girlfriend? Girlfriend...? Wait, had Ret even been that? He had wanted to ask her, but now he wasn't certain if Ret was the sweet Southern girl he had met over summer or a lying metamorphmagus who had used her power to snag two separate dates.
He turned away from the happy couple, unable to continue watching. Tucking the necklace into the pocket of his leather jacket, he would head in the direction that Rett had motioned towards. "Ret? Where the hell are you?" He sounded unimpressed, but the moment he saw that she was a separate person, relief would wash over him.

Truly, Aurelia had underestimated the power of her own talons which she was still trying to get her bearings on. Talons were significantly anatomically different from feet, they didn't feel at all like her toes or foot but rather packed immensely with potential and power at the end of her legs. Not nearly a thing she felt, nor the resistance of a small limb as she ripped through the air and lashed out at the blonde girl. Only upon settling onto her perch which was Hadrian's shoulder did she realise that her talons had delivered quite the damage.

Following the exchange of words between the two boys, all blame would be put atop of her betrothed's shoulders. Mentally smirking, Owleia coed with much nonchalance. The sharp insulting words then shot at her betrothed, no doubt with the intention to rile him up further. But thankfully, the injured girl was sane enough to request to leave. Wise. Aurelia knew Hadrian well, if it weren't for her very vice grip on his shoulder refraining him from acting and her own presence, she was entirely sure that he would lash out.
"Goddamit, Ori." He would mutter as the couple moved away. The boiling rage evident on his face simmering down. "Making me take responsibility for your actions? I could just called you out right then and there, darling." he'd say with a huff. Ori simply placed a peck on his cheek before taking off. No hard feelings.
