Put it to his uptight schoolmates to go on and on about academics. No one here cared, or did they not understand that? If Hogwarts had wanted their biggest and boring-est of their nerds, they’d have asked for the poetry club, or the calligraphy club, or something else equally dumb. Instead they had asked for the broom racers, the Quidditch players, and the duelists.

They wanted a show. They wanted the fun crowd. That Cody-san approved of his comment only proved he was right.

So, of course Aryaan met Shimizu-san’s warning glare with a quirked eyebrow and a half-smile. As the uptight perfectionist continued with his glare though, Aryaan gave him the smallest of shrugs. A silent fine, have it your way.

Aryaan might’ve have stuck out his tongue, but that might make even Mr. Navy lose his calm. Wait. Now that he thought about it, wouldn’t that be something to see?

The Indian boy might’ve gone ahead with his little display just for# the entertainment value, he was addressed by Kobayashi-san.

小林さん、気をつけてねCareful now, Kobayashi-san,” he replied without losing a beat. His emphasis on the honorific in her name was intentional. “呼び捨てにしていると、親しい間柄だと思われるかもしれませんよ。それは好ましくないことですよね?Our glorious classmate in Navy might think that we are very close if you keep calling me that. We wouldn’t want that now, would we?

While he was distracted with Kobayashi-san, it seemed that Cody-san was involved in no less than seven conversations. He’d even entangled into this conversation a random passerby who wanted to chime in with his knowledge of his own school’s grades. It was honestly a bit much; but at least Cody had ended by calling a clear senior a ‘nobody-likes’ Mondays just made the Indian boy snort in amusement. So much for the vaunted ‘rules’ and ‘decorum’ and ‘respect for elders’.

It was honestly rather difficult to keep up with all that he’d said. Something about a Baron of Blood and a Chamber of Secrets and someone called Helga who huffs and puffs? Like that wolf from the three little pigs?

It was at about this point that his eyes fell on Ayucchi, one of his quidditch teammates, who seemed to be sitting with a bunch of people from other schools.

Suddenly, this conversation – ghosts and teasing Shimizu-sanand Kobayashi-san- didn’t seem all that interesting.

“You know what, Cody. You’re right.” He said to the gracious blonde host. “I’ll ask you about the Chamber of Secrets and Hogwarts’ special wolves later.”

And with that, the Indian boy got up and tried to make his way over to his teammate.

“H-Hey Ayucchi.” He addressed his teammate, in English for the benefit of those around them. Why was talking to her always so hard? She must think him an idiot. “You mind if I sit with you here? They’re comparing grades over there and it’s boring.”

The curtains fell. And the silence was deafening

The toddler was still talking to him? Sigh. He claimed to know his name through collected rumors around Hogwarts. He didn't really know anyone except San and Serena. Well, there was that Violet chick too and a few of the boys he had kissed during spin the bottle... But still. What kind of rumor about him would be floating around? "You still knew my name. Coulda been some other white haired guy." Merlin knew he wasn't the only one.

"Who?" If he had remembered the name the girl had shouted at him, he would have realized Cody was talking about none other than Cherry-head (Aurora Ranvier), but he hadn't cared enough to memorize whatever the girl had screamed at him while be dragged away by Santario. "You sure? You're kind of acting like one now." He pointed out, a small smirk tugging on his lips. Ah yes, another successful interaction. Did he seriously try to steal his insult from a cartoon cat? "In the land of witless I am deemed the most capable? Thank you, Connor. Unfortunately for you I doubt your role would change. It’s almost like you already live in such a world." Connor. That was his name, right?

Just as the Swede was starting to wonder if he would have to spend the evening babysitting, a fresh face came to sit down next to him. “I’m Felix—…” Usually Felix was not open to the idea of social interactions, but the blonde haired foreigner offered him solace of sorts. This was before the boy introduced himself, that was.

The soft lilting accent that escape his lips was all too familiar, but then he would introduce himself using a name that caused Felix’s heart to jump within his chest.

Ret. Sunflower.

It had been a name that had haunted his very dreams since the cursed day he had met the love sorceress. Since then he could only think about their every interaction, and had started to count the days, hours, minutes since they had last interacted.

She was to blame for his malfunctioning heart. He was not meant to develop feelings for someone like the other boys in his school. In turn, this southern boy was to blame for making his heart jolt.

How dare he.

“You’re not Ret.” He found himself blurting out. It was becoming an unfortunate pattern thanks to all these new feelings he was developing. He hated it. “Ret is blonde—“ so was the boy… “A southern belle.” He was southern too. “Ret is my date to the fall ball.” There, that was surely enough of a distinction.

Drew was not talking to anybody since he had arrived at Hogwarts a little after noon, which was strange for him. Usually he would have a friend by his side or would make conversation even with a random stranger, but today, right now, he wasn't talking to anybody. He felt... sad. For some reason that he didn't know and couldn't comprehend, he felt sad. The lack of his parents' letters had taken a toll on him over the summer and into the fall. His usually lighthearted self had become to feel more heavy, more weighed down, like when you stick a shirt in water and when you pull it back out, it's three times as heavy as before. His grandmother wouldn't tell him what was wrong, saying that his parents were just busy and she would fill him in when he came home. He knew she was lying to him, telling him nothing was wrong, but something was wrong. He knew that much. His parents had never, ever, ever, ever stopped writing to him, whenever he was away from them. Ever since he was a first year, or they had to go on a business trip, their letters were solid and guaranteed. They always came. Drew couldn't stop stressing over what was wrong. What was he missing?

The feeling of sadness, the feeling of being weighed down, was terrifying and miserable and he didn't know how to make it go away.

Charles came up on him from behind, lowkey tackling him. At his friend's presence, whom he hadn't seen since the summer, he was unable to hold back a grin. As Charles came off of him, he nudged him with his shoulder, pushing away his earlier mood and pushing it down. He could worry about that later. "Grand to see you again, too, Charlie," he said, trying to imitate Charles' accent. It didn't work very well. "A normal visit?" He laughed out loud. "It's Hogwarts, Charlie! I'd like to see you try to define normal when it comes to Hogwarts." His grin faded a little when Charles mentioned the attacks. "...Yeah," he said.

His eyebrows rose as Charles mentioned his new broom. "Lucky! A Nimbus! The 2001s, I heard, are crazy smooth flying," he commented. "I will. We should definitely do that." He had politely passed on the last broom race, but his parents had promised that they would buy him a good broom for the next one.

They went into the Great Hall, and his former feeling of weight had dissolved. He felt light once again talking to his friend. It was almost as if nothing had changed, and Charles himself just embodied all the good memories and all the good times, rather than the shadow of worry and inexplicable anger that lurked around, following him wherever he went.

He then heard Cassie yelling at them from across the Great Hall and grinned. Everything just felt so normal, it was easy to forget that it wasn't. "Well, well, well. If it isn't Cassie Heather McGregor-Martin," he said, sitting on one side of Cassie and letting Charles pick his own spot. He chose to sit on the other side of Cassie. "I think you should be proud of me for remembering your entire name," he said. "I deserve some dessert or something. Or- what do they call it here?" After a moment, he remembered and said, "Pudding! I deserve some pudding." He grinned. He used the word that Charles had used on meeting him and said, "Grand to see you, too, Cassie."

Cassie then jumped into gossip. Drew had never understood why people were such hard-core gossips, but nobody would get hurt by some gentle gossip about teachers and such. He assumed the head of Raven Claw was a person. "An orangutan? Aren't those like, the orange monkeys?" (Orangutans, in fact, were actually apes, but Drew didn't know that, of course.) "How did he stop being an orangutan?"

Drew nodded at Charles' comment. "I heard that too. Although don't expect me to be able to pronounce it as perfectly as Charles. I can barely say Beauxbatons on a good day." His eyes first twinkled in Cassie's direction, and then followed the new students joining the annual Hogwarts festivities. "We do keep adding magical schools each year, don't we? There are..." he took a moment to count in his head. "Five right now. Durmstrang, Beauxbatons, Ilvermorny, Koldovstor-whatever and Moko-uhm- that one. There are eleven in total all over the world. D'you think we'll end up inviting all of them at one point? Will Hogwarts even be able to hold all those students?" he speculated.

Charles invited a girl over to sit with them, maybe because she looked lonely or something.

Another girl approached them and said something. In Russian. At least Drew assumed it was Russian, since he didn't know what other language it would have been. Charles chatted back to her in Russian and Drew leaned over to Cassie, saying, "D'you know what they're talking about?" He sure hoped he wasn't the only person here that didn't know Russian (or possible other mystery language), because then things would get a lot less fun.

He decided to introduce himself to the girls that were joining them, as the girl named Ayu introduced herself. "Hi! I'm Drew, third year Ilvermorny. Nice to meet you too." As the girl asked them another question about Hogwarts, Drew answered, saying, "Yeah! Cass and Charlie and I have all been here before. It's your first time, then? Welcome, we're glad to have you here." He grinned, being his normal extroverted and friendly self. Hopefully he was making this smaller girl feel welcome.

She was quite small, wasn't she?

There was a reason André had decided not too attend the Hogwarts summer camp. It was because of the events of the last ball he'd gone too he wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea of spending that much time there. Then announcements rang around the school of the blossom ball, what a bore really. The aftermath of that once at least wasn't much too look at. He was glad he hadn't gone. There had been too many rumors circulating around for some time after about Hogwarts trying to poison the foreign students. With all the incidents he'd read from the english papers he wouldn't be surprised. Hogwarts still had the grand reputation as ever but he seemed to think it was down a notch with the people that were left to run the place. At least Beauxbatons was respectable. He swore all the students here that he'd met were half-wits. They don't seem to catch the go away your annoying, I really don't want to talk to you, sort of look. The females at Beaux had started to catch on, André had yet to decide if that was even good enough for him, but when he couldn't ask of much more he would rather be the one settling for it.

André had resigned himself to this fate because he needed more. More as in he was bored. He needed to have the once again midlife crisis at his age that happened at least four times and year, and settled down when it hit the two week mark. It had been a few days into his midlife crisis routine when he'd signed up. He had figured at the very least, this time, he had someone with him. It was surprising because it was someone he genuinely wanted with him. He didn't pretend to like them, and at times it was a mix of both a positive and a negative thing.

The example was the fact that he had a distaste at the idea of genuinely caring for someone, and no he was not going to fall through the rabbit hole of ever thinking on this one. If he wanted to provide what he felt was a more legitimate reason, well, he wanted to take the chance to gather any information he could from the other foreign schools. He could consider transferring during his second midlife crisis of the year, just a bit from now. Though aware he was never going to do it, he could convince himself as if it was so, it cured whatever taste he had for the idiotic things of life. Maybe next time, there was a chance he wouldn't be here.

André smiled back as Maxi spoke to him though, this time, Andre seemed less attentive than usual. “The last ball I attended was not smooth sailing. I'm looking forward to the faces, yes, definitely the faces. I'm not to worry about charming people. I'm focused on getting information. I want to know more about the other schools attending that aren't Hogwarts.” A girl in the hall had said there was supposed to be a new school attending this time, Andre would neither confirm or deny it until he saw it for himself.

They were brought too cabins as seemingly the earliest of the bunch before eventually arriving for the feast. Andre looked around with a nod to his fellow companion. “It's quaint...” It was showing-off, this as André thought it to be was the only obviously decent room in the castle such as this. Of course why wouldn't it be, they were bringing the foreign students there. “Never mind that, I know someone who sits at uh-” André paused for a moment, trying to figure out and remember how to pronounce it. Trying to make sure his accent wouldn't cloud the words entirely. “Ravenclaw.” He said with a nod, he gestured over to the blue table. The person he knew of, Nelle, must have not been pleased with him, he'd set her up for failure by owling her and asking her to the ball and never interacting with her once while he was there(The owls came from a little thing his professor had been doing, exchanging letters with those from the other schools. He still hadn't found a good reason as to why he had been assigned to her, but that was beyond the point) “It is weird how they sort them, I've taken notice that this one seems to be the least chaotic. We will have a good view as well, there's seats close enough to the front” André said, there were empty seats right near the teachers table, but it André was going to help his companion in spying, or what he may have wanted out of this situation, the ones a bit back as to not be spotted were the way.

As they walked André hummed, “Do you remember the golden-haired man?” He asked, turning to set his eyes on Maxi. “I don't trust him, I don't think you should either.” His face had said something that did little to comfort André. It was the face the adults made around smaller children. When they were talking as if to dumb something down to their level, besides he had facts. “The civil war one I know isn't true. The other seems unfathomable, I'm calling his bluff. I don't know why he'd especially be wanting to admit in the last one that the headmaster is mentally unfit. If it was true he would have been put somewhere, no? They wouldn't let him keep running the school.” André said, he was confused by it. Overall upset with the man, if he was going to be fed rumors at least make them true. He was also admitting the faults of a professor, which if true would not look good on their part, André didn't buy it. Besides what nerd marries a bard?

Mr. Stevenson seemed to be involved in multiple conversations at once, whether or not the people on the receiving end wanted to be in it or not. It sure took a lot of waiting for one's question to be answered by this self-proclaimed Hogwarts spokesperson. Akira was doubly perplexed as the boy called himself hideous in front of complete strangers. Was that supposed to be endearing?

After the blond boy laughed at Shamsi's school-belittling joke or whatever that was -- out of pure politeness, he hoped -- and after Akira's subsequent glare, Shamsi merely shrugged his shoulders, and Akira was satisfied that the Indian boy didn't take his chances further. To his faintest surprise, however, Kobayashi-san spoke up against the provocative boy. Silently, he was glad that he wasn't the only one who found Shamsi's comments vexing, nor did he alone have to carry a sense of propriety to uphold the honor of their school. Shamsi's snapping response, on the other hand, only served to touch a nerve. "Watch that mouth of yours, Shamsi," he hissed back in Japanese, purposefully dropping honorifics, not because they were familiar, but because the exasperating boy deserved none. "You're addressing your superior in Kobayashi-san and you will show her the respect that is due." He'd had about enough of this boy, and it was only the first hour of their arrival at Hogwarts.

Akira listened half-heartedly to Mr. Stevenson's response to the question about ghosts, as his mind was elsewhere, and he was again perplexed when the blond boy started yelling upon being offended by being called a 'toddler' when had called himself 'hideous' moments ago. Akira realized that his energy was already spent on this belligerent boy, and decided that he had no more questions for Mr. Stevenson after the one about prefect and head boy/girl selection.

Fortunately, an older Hogwarts boy stepped in to answer his question, and Akira was not even vexed by the way he barged in on their conversation. This one seemed to have his thoughts together more quickly and communicated as one should, noting that prefects and head boys and girls were often selected based on a variety of characteristics. "Thank you, Mr. Knight," Akira bowed back in response. "So gracious of you to answer my question in a helpful manner. My name is Akira Shimizu, and I'm from Mahoutokoro."

He realized they had been standing for a while now, and dinner was in due course. "Please, why don't we sit down for a meal?" he asked of Mr. Knight, Kobayashi-san and Ohashi-san, and gestured to a table nearby, where a couple Beauxbatons students (Enzo and Valentin) and what he thought was a Durmstrang student (Jan) were sitting, and supposedly chatting about which schools were the most decent. Akira suppressed a wheeze and it only came out as a forceful exhale through his nose. He didn't seem to be the only one who thought that some of the foreigners here were less decent, considering the belligerence and lack of attentiveness of Mr. Stevenson, who was a self-proclaimed spokesperson for the school, and the general over-excitement and overbearing chatter going on within the hall. If anything, he was hoping a bit to find out who the decent schools were.

Not that he was trying to be obvious, that is, though his ears were certainly perked in their direction and he would be eager to join in on the conversation. But not rude enough to barge in just like that.

He surveyed the food while he sat and picked up a pair of chopsticks. "So, Mr. Knight," he began, already knowing what he wanted to discuss next. "Would you say that Hogwarts students are very similar? What would you say are some defining characteristics of the school's student body or overall reputation? I'm eager to learn more about Hogwarts," he explained, though really he was wondering if most students were as brusque as Mr. Stevenson.

Rett wasn't surprised when Felix stopped dead in his tracks in his introduction. He had that effect on people, he was a cute young boy and he knew that about himself. Was quite confident about how cute he was too. Especially combined with a southern accent that people fawned over. What came next though, confused him.

How could he not be Rett? That was his name. Well, a nickname for sure. But he sure went by it more than his full name. He glanced up at his hair. He had recently used the color-changing charm on it to try out a blonde look for a little bit. How could this guy tell blonde wasn't his natural color? Rett's mind was spinning. He is a southern belle. He grew up in the heart of Georgia. Just because he was a boy doesn't mean he can't be a southern belle!

Then there was the kicker: Rett was definitely not Felix's date to the ball. There was some kind of understanding. His eyebrows furrowed together. What other blonde southern belle was there?

Oh. Oh. How delightful.

An opportunity arose in his mind that was too delectable not to go forward with. Especially since his boyfriend was too busy this visit for them to see each other. Rett had plenty of free time. He knew the Ret that Felix was talking about. It wasn't someone he would call his friend, but the Brooks family and the Montagne family ran in the same circles. Henrietta Montagne must be Felix's date.

Rett leaned into Felix slightly, turning on a more feminine charm than what he had going on before. "Oh darling, do you not recognize me?" His eyelashes fluttered slightly, but not too much to be dramatic. "Of course we're going to the ball together. I hope you don't mind that I'm messing around with my look. I am a metamorphmagus after all." Rett honestly didn't know if young metamorphmagus' could do this. But he just hoped Felix didn't have that information either.

Rett made a note in his mind to find Ret before Felix could.

"Oh, definitely," Cassie said, only a little sarcastically, when Drew practically made an Oscar's acceptance speech after greeting her by her full name. "Et tu, Brute! [Lati for 'and you, Brutus']" she grinned, dramatically quoting Julius Caesar as she gave the American boy a salute with the hand that held her fork, managing to get three messy lines of gravy on her forehead which she then attempted to wipe off. Unfortunately, this just spread it, so she wiped it off her forehead and hands with a napkin as she continued. "I mean, Andrew."

Cassie sniggered at the two boy's questions regarding the head of Raven's Claw. "Yeah," she nodded to Drew, confirming that orangutans were, indeed, 'orange monkeys'. Then she answered Charles' query. "Magical library," Cassie informed him. "The head of Huffpuff told us that he got shut in there overnight and opened a book he shouldn't have. Or something like that, anyway." Cassie wondered if she ought to pay a visit to this 'magical library'. Goodness knew she wasn't a fan of books - what was the point in reading about things other people had done instead of going out and doing it yourself? - but a magical library... That might be worth a look. "Can't actually remember how he got out of it. I think someone, uh, what's the word - untransfigured - I dunno what that is in English - someone did that to him. Charlie, what's untransfigured in English?"

"Academics..." Cassie mused upon Charles mentioning the Japanese school. "Oh! Cauliflower cheese! What was I saying?" After ladling a generous helping of cauliflower cheese onto her plate as Drew contributed to the conversation, Cassie continued. "Oh! I've been practising pronouncing it, so I get it right. For the Russian school too. I still have to say it pretty slowly, though. Wait, hadn't she been talking about something else? "Oh yeah! Academics... you mean, as in, like, exam results? I mean, that's all cool, but exam results aren't that important, are they? Like, you only use them once, when you're applying for a job, then you can just forget them. I'd say it's cooler to be known for, say having a world-class broomracing team." She grinned. "You know, like Beauxbatons." Drew wasn't sure whether Hogwarts really had the capacity to hold all these students, which Cassie laughed at. "I mean, that's true! The campgrounds're gonna run out of space eventually, right? Maybe they'll make us put up tents." Then she suddenly realised something Drew had said. "Wait. Eleven?! Like, total? Even if you did, like, ten countries per school, there's definitely not enough! And each school holds, what, like a few thousand students? Not all that many. How many wizards are there?!"

Charles called over to invite a girl who looked a little younger than Cassie to sit with them, leaving Cassie to shrug her permission when he looked to her and Drew. She did so, and introduced herself as a first year at Mahoutokoro. Mahoutokoro. Cassie made a mental note of how it was pronounced. She'd asked around and was fairly sure she could pronounce it right, but it was still good to hear it in a proper Japanese accent. Cassie did squint, however, when she introduced herself as Ayu. "I thought you had, like, san and... oh, I forgot the other ones. Sensai? What're they called?" Cassie squinted even harder into the gravy boat as she tried to remember. When she'd asked about the other schools, this was one of the things that had come up. "Honorifics!" Cassie suddenly realised. "I dunno what it is in English." She looked to Charles, who would probably know what she meant, assuming that he'd fill in the pause which she left for him with the English version of the word. "Do you want us to use an honorific?"

When asked what schools they were all from, Cassie smiled. "Beauxbatons," she said proudly. "AKA the best school in the world, magical or Muggle, and nobody can change my mind."

Then, the trio of thirteen-year-olds was greeted by a girl with straight hair that was a shade of red which Cassie was almost certain wasn't natural. Or, at least, Cassie assumed they were being greeted, because, whatever language the girl was speaking, it definitely wasn't English or French. Charles, on the other hand, appeared to understand it just fine and replied easily, turning back to Cassie and Drew with a sort of satisfied smile on his face. Cassie gave an exaggerated shrug to Drew when he asked what they were talking about and raised her eyebrows at Charles. "Dude. You feel like speaking English any time soon?" she asked a little sarcastically, and looked at the new girl. "Do you speak English?" she asked. In France, English was a subject so most French people knew at least a little bit, but Cassie was pretty sure this girl wasn't from Beauxbatons. "Or French?"

"Yes," Cassie said happily upon being asked whether she'd come here before (while chewing: her parents would have been horrified), covering her mouth with one hand.

Henry gave Cody a soft smile and kept his blue eyes on the first year as he interacted with a Dumstrang, the third year wasn't in the right mindset to break up a fight or escort his friend to the hospital wing either that night.

Henry moved his eyes from Cody to to the students from Mahoutokoro, listening to their Japanese sort of wishing that he could learn the language either from books or a friend... although he didn't quite have any friends who spoke Japanese well not yet. The teen moved his gazed to the boy in the navy uniform, glad that he wasn't rude or disrespectful to him by accident as he listened to the boy's words.

Nodding to them, Henry spoke with a soft smile, "it's a pleasure to meet you, Shimizu-san," the third year looked at the boy for a moment before looking to the girls from Mahoutokoro as he spoke" and it's a pleasure to meet the both of you as well," offering both a soft smile as he turned to all three of them, blue eyes taking glances as each as he suggested" what about a exchange of knowledge? I can answer your questions about Hogwarts and you can answer my questions about Mahoutokoro? I have always admired your school and if I could, I would have gone there." That was true the third year always have been fascinated with the Japanese school, especially with their academics he would have loved to be at a place that students were viewed upon by their intelligence inside of their house.

The teen hoped he made a good expression upon the three students and upon hearing the boy's question he assumed he did as he nodded slightly and spoke" thank you for letting me join you," giving each a smile, stopping at the girl; Sakura Kobayashi who his orange Feline, Loki rubbed against her legs of before walking over to Henry and climbing up to his right shoulder where the feline say peacefully.

"This is Loki, he's well behaved and shouldn't bother any of you," Henry spoke as he followed the three students from Mahoutokoro to a section of one of the tables where three others already sat.

Two from beauxbatons and one from Dumstrang, Henry offered each a soft smile and small "hello" before turning his attention to the bot from Mahoutokoro listening to his words carefully before attempting to answer the question.

The third year took a breath, as he allowed the three students from Mahoutokoro to sit first before taking his seat and speaking" well, I wouldn't say that all Hogwarts students are similar. Actually their quite different, in species and race and backgrounds and personality. Surprisingly, it didn’t take long for Ye-jun to spot his cousin. She was grown up but unlike him, the resemblance was still there. She was far more fashionable than he expected though. He would have assumed she would go for elegant yet simple clothes. Her family had money but they weren’t extremely rich and he didn’t think she would be interested in fancy clothes to be honest. Still, this suited him just fine, they would be matched and he wouldn’t stick out like a sore thumb when they hang out together. Most importantly however, he was just happy to see her and so he immediately went for the hug.

In retrospective, it was not necessarily a good move on his part. While he got accustomed to a new culture and lifestyle fairly quickly, she was probably still stuck in the old ways. He was too to some extent but compared to her, it would have been nothing. Thankfully, they haven’t seen each other for far too long and so Eun-ji eventually returned the gesture. When they let go, the initial conversation was quite short. It was clear his cousin didn’t want to share too much about her life and he would not pry. At least not now and not here.

“Yes, I have been well. I’m sorry we haven’t been in touch for so long. If we knew you were a witch…” He sighed. So many years wasted. “It’s not your fault. I probably knew about magic earlier than you did but my parents wanted to hide it from the rest of the family as well. I was just more subtle so we didn’t have to move I guess.” The girl shrugged. Ye-jun nodded in understanding, wondering what would it be like if he found out earlier. Eun-ji was lucky since her mother was a witch but she didn’t visit often due to the ongoing conflict she had with their grandma at the time so she didn’t get to witness his little miracles. If she knew, she would tell him for sure. Eleanor was a kind woman. “No matter, what’s done is done. We should go and talk about it somewhere more quiet later. I might survey the area a little but I want to know everything. You can’t escape me.” He paused for a moment. “You look beautiful by the way.” She didn’t know how to handle compliments if he remembered correctly. It was his duty as her cousin to tease her a little, wasn’t it?
Cousin interaction is basically done so OPEN to Interaction if anyone's interested

Aryaan Shamsi @Hui Ming
@Henry Knight
Akira Shimizu @Avery Chen
Sana Ohashi @Juniper Kelly
[font=Shining Like Stars]- 小林さん、気をつけてね. 呼び捨てにしていると、親しい間柄だと思われるかもしれませんよ。それは好ましくないことですよね?Careful now, Kobayashi-san. Our glorious classmate in Navy might think that we are very close if you keep calling me that. We wouldn’t want that now, would we?
- Watch that mouth of yours, Shamsi. You're addressing your superior in Kobayashi-san and you will show her the respect that is due.
Why did Aryaan Shamsi talk like that? Frankly, he doesn't deserve to be called Shamsi-san since 1, he's a Lavender and 2, he's not even totally Japanese. And why was Shimizu-san defending you? You know he knows you like everything artistic. But you know how to answer people. Especially when they piss you off. And despite your legendary calm, Shamsi manages to get on your nerves.
- Thank you Shimizu-san. But I can still defend myself. Have you seen my brother? He is skilled in martial arts. Then you turn to Shamsi. Aryaan Shamsi-san. You probably know that I am known for my permanent calm. That's why I don't shout on you. But on the other hand, I have something to tell you. I don't usually call you Shamsi-san because you're a rank lower than me and you're not entirely Japanese and you're denigrating your own school.
As you replied in an almost annoyed tone to your really annoying classmate, Shimizu-san was talking to an older student than your Japanese group. Your classmate called the tall man "Mr. Knight". When the boy looked at you and your friend Sana, he asked you without saying so, what your names were.
- Thank you for the welcome Mr. ... Knight, right? I'm Sakura Kobayashi. And this is my friend, Sana Ohashi.
- What about a exchange of knowledge? I can answer your questions about Hogwarts and you can answer my questions about Mahoutokoro? I have always admired your school and if I could, I would have gone there.
- Of course! For now, I prefer my school and all questions are welcome. I wonder if they will be holding an event somewhere other than Hogwarts in the next few years. Don't you think everything happens at Hogwarts?
It all happens at Hogwarts... Everything. Why is that? No idea. Hogwarts isn't the oldest school, so it's got nothing to do with date. On the other hand, maybe it's because this school has formed many famous wizards. That must be why. But that's not a reason. While you are deep in thought, you feel something brush against your leg. You jump slightly and look down to see a cat. A very cute cat. You are about to ask who it is when the cat walks up to your English classmate who says it is his cat, Loki. Cute name!
- So, Mr. Knight. Would you say that Hogwarts students are very similar? What would you say are some defining characteristics of the school's student body or overall reputation? I'm eager to learn more about Hogwarts.
- Well, I wouldn't say that all Hogwarts students are similar. Actually their quite different, in species and race and backgrounds and personality. Some are kinder and quieter than others who tend to be louder and doers. I would say defining characteristics in Hogwarts students is their school pride and willingness to help one another in difficult situations. As for the reputation if the school, I think you heard that Hogwarts accepts all students not just humans at the school. But besides from that the reputation of the students are known timber quite prideful in their school and to be well determined or ambitious to win events or games. Does that answer your question, Shimizu-san? Could I ask what classes do you take at Mahoutokoro and how difficult are they? Does you school have a dueling team?
- So Hogwarts students are a bit too active. When you say "Hogwarts accepts all students not just humans at the school", do you mean Dhampirs, Werewolf and stuff like that? The fact that you mention them makes me think you're not completely human. Don't worry, I won't judge. Personally, I think that's a very complete answer. And to answer your question, Shimizu-san is a duelist, even if there aren't many of them. I clearly prefer art - in all its forms.
Sorry for the long post. And by the way, I don't get the mentions. You write "Liz Evanvleck" but it's "Lin Evanvleck". :sweatingbullets:
