Winnie blinked in surprised when Mathias admitted the boy or boys were related to him. "... How related...?" She found herself asking. Hopefully not a close relation. She then added in Hess' direction. "If he's your family, you should be nicer to him!" The boy was older, or at least he looked older. Should he not know better? Mathias was obviously the gentle kind of boy, just look at how he dressed! If Winnie had a younger family member attending Hogwarts, she would want to protect them.
Matt would offer her pieces of information about himself, which Winnie quickly whispered back to herself in order to memorize them. She seemed to be having trouble with her memory and the last thing she wanted was to forget important things about the boy she was dating. "Gerald is such a nice name. Oh! July... Did I get you anything? I'm sorry I missed your birthday, I will have to make it up to you." Her jittery excitement would not last long, as Aurora continued to question to pair.
She would nod along to Matt's statements, in her head they made perfect sense. Why not? To believe something as 'far-fetched' as being 'poisoned', or drugged, would take a little while to sink in. Aurora was really not helping her case either. She was quickly starting to sound unstable as her hands started to weave figurative red string and try to connect the dots. "I'm sorry, Mattie, she's not normally like this." Well... That was debatable, but this was definitely as quirky as Winnie had seen her dorm mate. "Aurora, that's enough."
But it wasn't enough, because the Ravenclaw had decided Matt needed to learn a lesson in the form of a can of pepper spray. Winnie flinched at the sound of her boyfriend screaming, it seemed her efforts were in vain. At least they would suffer together. Her own screaming continued, she heard her dorm mate fall onto the ground and scream something about how she always got angry for a reason. "YES!" She screeched back through her pain, her eyes were streaming tears, her nose snot. "YOU DO IT ALL THE BLOODY TIME!"
"IT'S PEPPER SPRAY...!" She was rambling through her pain, trying to explain what was happening. "W-WATER, WE NEED WATER!" The palm of her boyfriend's hand would manage to hit her ankle, and she fell to the ground next to him in a desperate attempt to try and search for something to ease the pain, a jug of water or liquid, her hands patting the surface of the picnic blanket in an attempt to find something to use. If she succeeded, she would try to splash it directly into Matt's face (I will leave it up to you to decide if she finds anything/if she manages to hit him).
The world would cease to make sense once again when Hess tugged the blanket from beneath them. The food would scatter everywhere, and Winnie would tumble off of the blanket. Perhaps landing on some of the food or even poor Matt. She could only continue to scream through her pain as she heard Aurora going on about being kidnapped still.

His eyeballs were on fire!. The sort of fire that involved plucking them out, filling the eye sockets full of lava and then dipping the skewered eyeballs in salt before ramming them back into his head. "Wh@T tH3 hELL i$ wR0Ng wiTh yOu!" [What the hell is wrong with you] He roared, the chemical assault on his eyes basically criminal. He did not touch her, he did not force her to do a damned thing. He laid out a feast of admittedly tainted food, not that she could prove a darn thing. Her gave the girl a couple of nerds that were so out of their league, even the weird loud one.
He would feel a splash of cold, gelatinous substance land on his face.A mayonnaise-based salad, he was not even sure what it was. He never ate that sort of thing but it was made with twisty pasta, black olives, onions, celery, sliced hardboiled egg, black pepper and yes, paprika. Still, respite in the form of goopy mayo to the face. It felt disgusting, he was not even certain what the substance was that was not on his face, that slopped onto his chest and finally lap.
He screamed this shrill, girlish scream. Yes, the sort of sound you expected Levi to make when someone plucked his first chest hair at the age of twenty. What was this! He grabbed and squished in his bare hands a handful of pasta salad and flung it at Winnie. Breathing heavy, he would try to open his eyes through a veil of stinging tears and shunky mayonnaise. It hurt... somewhat less. He tried to wipe some off his cheek, off his chest. "Wear the goop!" The world's oddest battle cry.
He would attempt to smash two handfuls of used pasta salad onto Winnie's face.

Winnie's screams echoed Mathias' own. He demanded to know what was wrong with her dorm mate. Oh boy, if only he had known. Surely he would have selected some other Quidditch girl to attend this date? Or maybe just not have invited Galton at all... Still, Aurora was quite the unpredictable force. "EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING IS WRONG WITH HER!" Aurora would likely leave the picnic with some hurt feelings, but considering how much Winnie's eyes were burning... Well, she couldn't seem to care in the moment. They would have to make up later, such as when she carried her away from the dangers of a forest.
"WHAT'S GOING ON?!" She could hear some sort of fight happening but she could not see it. She had no idea the Hess boy had managed to trap her unstable room mate between the blanket. All that matter was that she needed to heal Mathias somehow. Whatever she had thrown at him was not liquid, so she would continue to try and grab random dishes, this time smooshing her hand into the bowl to see what it contained. Until she got hit with the salad. "What the--..." Suddenly Mathias would come at her with a handful of something he called 'goop'. She couldn't see him so the shock alone was enough to cause her to yelp.
"AH! MATT!" She gasped when two handfuls of the substance were smooshed into her face. She was about to yell at him when the soothing cold that the ingredients provided hit her. It hurt still, but... It felt good, soothing. "Oh...! That feels... So GOOD!" She would squint at him, the lines of his form coming into view. "MORE GOOP! MORE MAYONAISE!" Her hand reached for the same bowl, providing Mathias with a fresh dose of mayo-coolness as she shoved it towards where she thought his eyes were. Then she would grab a container that looked like it held liquid and pour half of it into her eyes. The substance wetting her hair and probably ruining the nice dress she was wearing. "HERE!" She then would pass Mathias the jug of whatever it was.

While Mathias and Winnie were making unique use of the potato salad. The foreplay between the two of them was concerning. But in their defense, it was mostly Aurora's fault. Jürgen had tackled the ravenclaw girl with a protective layer, the picnic blanket now filthy from spilled condiments and parts of sandwich. He would rush the girl like a very small football player that had no business trying to tackle anyone, let alone a screeing raven.
Yet he would find the girl, a squish of some carbohydrate that had adhered to the picnic blanket and was now between his shoulder and Aurora. He would attempt to knock her to the ground, wrapping his arms around her but not for the sake of embracing her but rather to wrap her with the beaten blanket. "Burrito roll!" Jürgen declared his move of choice. He attempted to roll Aurora in the blanket. Arms pinned to her sides, the rounding motion hopefully disorienting her, keeping her dizzy.
“KIDNAPPER! HELP! ARE YOU GOING TO HOLD ME FOR RANSOM!?”
The girl was absolutely bonkers wasn't she?
“JUST SO YOU KNOW, MY MOM PROBABLY WILL NOT SEND YOU THE MONEY AND YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH ME FOREVER! IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT, EVIL GUY?”
"She is paying me to keep you," Hess grumbled as he attempted to roll her over a few times. He was not rolling her to the lake although he briefly considered, nor was he rolling her to the woods where the trees could have her. It was far too distant to the next new moon and he wasn't really the sort. No, towards the camp. The camp was not too far.
Did he care about embarrassing her? No really, when someone acts in such a shameless manner they often do not care about being embarrassed. "I plan on giving you to the first lonely student I find," have fun being their kidnap victim. He would attempt to roll her over again. Oh look a hill. A hard push.

The soothing power of goop.
Who in the world would have thought a potato salad facial would feel so damned good. He could hear Aurora screaming, carrying on. Hess was not really one to get too flustered, mostly a 'professional' at this point it was rather entertaining seeing he knocked off kilter. The boy needed to loosen up and by loosening up he did not mean playing kid-games with his lion housemates. Total nerds.
Winnie would scream about it feeling so good. Aurora would shriek about being kidnapped. Winnie would grab hold of something, he could only hope the same sigh-worthy mayo Winnie was going on about. Sadly, it was not. He would find something, bread. Winnie would lob a piece of crusty french bread at Mathias' waiting face.
THUNK!
"My nose!" Mathias would cry. He would scoop up two handfuls of pasta salad. One to his own face, for his safety and satiety. The other recklessly flung at Winnie, "the bread is a bludgeoning instrument. The salad!" He let out a relieved sigh as the mayo counteracted the capsaicin. It still throbbed, but it was better. Better enough that he could see something wonderful. He saw what would be known as an Aurora Burrito. A screaming, noisy, messy thing. He would take a few sloppy deep breaths and stop for a moment.
Yes, he was going to leave Aurora to her fate. he got what he needed from the bot of them, their usefulness has been exhausted. "Winnie, you okay?"

"EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING IS WRONG WITH HER!"
Everything? All she intended to do was help a blind friend from an evil in Matt’s costume. Something weird really did happen, or did her situation reading flawed? Words sometimes cut deeper than a knife. While the pain is different, it sinks into her skin, changing the way she sees herself. It could be a conversation for later time, because the most important thing to do was to get out of the blanket wrap.
What is happening?
Goop and more goop and mayonnaise. They were feeding each other while she was becoming a cocoon. She was forgetting the fact that her friend was unable to see clearly because of her cursed water and jumped into a conclusion that Winnie consciously ignored the kidnapping of Aurora right in front of her two ocean eyes. But reality wasn’t as beautiful as she thought. Once upon a time, both of them showered each other with love, and now it was just food on their faces.
"She is paying me to keep you,"
“O-oh, I knew it!” It wasn’t a surprise. Honestly, the most astonishing moment that ever happened in her life was the fact her mother did not put her back into the womb the moment she was born. While other babies cried the moment they experienced the new world. Not Aurora. She probably was, but some convinced without a doubt that she challenged the doctors, nurses, and her fellow babies for a duel. But did her mother really pay someone to kidnap the loveliest daughter ever existed? It sounded illegal, but not impossible. Maybe a letter to seek an answer should be made after this ‘date’.
"I plan on giving you to the first lonely student I find,"
“HOW KIND OF YOU! BUT IT’S BETTER IF YOU REMOVE THIS BLA-“ And off she went, into the hill, rolling into the abyss. “-AAAAHHH!” She remembered slipping, then tumbled over and over again. It happened so sudden, making no space for her to process the out of control endless spin. All because of one spray of pepper spray, and now she was almost one with the nature. Trees, branches, rocks, ripped the thin fabric that was covering her, maybe caused some scratches here and there all over her skin. Helpless, was what she felt during all of it. Her hand tried to grab on her wand and cast whatever spell that came to mind, but it was just a fruitless attempt. Imagine an extreme roller coaster but you constantly bumped into things. It was nauseating, she was dazed. And the last memory she had was her slamming onto a hard object and blacked out.
For the first time in forever, the high pitched scream of the young girl was absent. Gone, but will not missed

Well, he did not expect to render the rather durable-seeming girl unconscious. If anything, he expected her to make a scene when he left her at camp and in the care of some 'trustworthy' minor. A sort of pass the curse on sorta thing. When she stopped talking, well screaming really, he would find himself ashamedly relieved. His ears were still ringing from her shrieking cries. The blanket would roll to a stop. He did not roll her through a thorny briar, rather a grassy hill of slightly long green grass.
"Merlin," he muttered as he fumbled with his wand. There was the impulse to fix her up right here and now, she was injured and while the was the cause of the more injuries with a deleterious, likely illegal or at the very least contraband substance. His goal was nothing more than to thwart her obnoxious presence, the screaming and the violence and to leave her in the distant company of some underclassman that she could torment.
A non-option at the present time at the very least he would check the girl for injuries since now was likely his best opportunity. A bit dramatic, she did have a couple of scratches that might have come from the roll but objects such as branches would be few in an open field capable of rolling a girl. Rockasm occasional and more likely to be unseen but present. The blanket should have been an adequate buffer against the basic elements of the earth. The biggest mistake she made was she had no concept of the tuck and roll with her chin. She bonked her head on something be it a rock or just simply the ground. A developing contusion served as evidence. While he checked her for injuries, if he found any pepper spray on her person, it would be removed, unceremoniously stomped underfoot and destroyed. The bent and broken, possibly pepper-soaked remains would be shook out and then stuffed in his pocket. Evidence of why.
"Worst date ever," he claimed. He had the fortune of not being on a date like those his cousin had. He pulled a roll of wizard tight from his pocket. He would attempt to wrap it once, twice, thrice around the blanket clad girl. The reason simple, when she regained consciousness he was not gong to willingly wrestle the crazy person.
But since they were parting ways with Winnie and Matt and whatever strange mating ritual they were about to undergo. He could hear the rapturous exclamations about goop and honestly he was rather unsettled by their strange fetishes. Perhaps safety with his kidnapping victim was his better option.
At the very least he stopped rolling her. There was no need. He carried the bound package back to the outskirts of camp.

Unfortunately for Aurora, Winnie could not focus on her screams of terror as Hess rolled her up in a burrito and tried to push her down the hill. It was difficult to notice someone rolling down a hill when you were caught up in a whirlwind of pain. Such as having your eyes feel like they were two burning orbs of fire and she was still having trouble seeing. For all she knew, the unfiltered background noise was her dorm mate screaming her conspiracy theories at the Gryffindor. Hopefully he had something to shield his eyes with.
Somehow, while caught up in said pain, she had mistaken a damn loaf of bread for a pitcher of water. It was not a cooling liquid that would hit poor Matt in the face, but instead the crust of some baked goods. Perhaps her efforts to 'feed him' would have been more romantic without context. Instead the action had earned her a handful of salad flung in her face. Most would miss, the remainder splattering over her cheek. "Y-You missed, here!" The Ravenclaw would try to grab the Slytherin's hand and press it against her face.
She squinted at her 'boyfriend' through the globs of the substance he had termed as goop. He was a mixture of shapes and colours, but her sight was starting to return to her. "Getting there, but... no more group dates." She requested, her hands trying to wipe the food off of her face. She couldn't hear Aurora screaming anymore. "Are you okay? Is she gone? I still can't see..."

Battered and covered in potatoes, somehow still not the worst first date in Hogwarts history. A strange revelation he would not come to until later. He would apply more soothing potato mixture to Winnie, the fact that she was helping... the first time they held hands technically.
He asked if she was okay, she was his house elf not victim. A broken, blinded elf was no good. She was healing from the hurty juice as was he. He furrowed his gooey brow and started to wipe away the chunky, creamy substance that covered his face. He flicked away the goop with a flick of his hand. Disgusting.
"My eyes are on fire still but," he opened and closes his eyes a few times. Soothing the fire within his orbs. "I think I am fine," he admitted. He lo0oked for the hellion, Aurora. He was going to ruin her. Only, she was nowhere to be seen or heard. A thankful respite in truth. The screams and protests and madness that dribbled from her hideous maw was maddening. "I think she attacked us and ran off," Mathias admitted relieved.
"Sorry about this hun," he admitted as he leaned in for what would be their first kiss. His... well, definitely not first kiss possibly even this week.

A hand wiped away at the globs of salad still clinging to her face and the strands of her curled hair. The sleeve of her dress was used to get rid of any of the more stubborn pieces. It was ruined after what had basically turned into a two-person food fight. She smelt like mayonnaise and potatoes, not particularly a perfume she would have bought for herself, but at least the pain was starting to fade.
Matt confirmed that he was okay, and Winnie could feel her shoulders relaxing. "Thank Merlin... I'm sorry I couldn't manage to shield you enough." If only she were a few inches taller, curse her short stature. She blinked rapidly, the Slytherin's face finally came into view as his features became more pronounced. She glanced around for any sign of Aurora, but she was no where to be found. "I... I thought I heard her yelling. Did she attack the other boy...? Maybe they both ran off."
"Maybe we should make sure--..." She turned back to face Matt as she spoke, her cheeks burning a soft pink when she realized how much closer he was than before. "I..." So close that she could have counted every eyelash or recited poetry about those enticing hazel eyes, the aureate ring drawing her in and--... What were they talking about again? Her heart was drumming too quickly against her chest for her to even bother remembering.
"It's not your fault..." She mumbled, raising a hand to, if he would allow it, rest against Matt's face. She would wipe away a bit of salad with her thumb. Yes, very romantic. Every girl dreamed of being slathered in salad for their first kiss. Regardless, Winnie was lost in a dream land of her own as she closed the distance between them, her lips fitting against Matt's own.
