The bottle continued to be passed around the circle. Rhea kissed someone Gabriella didn't recognise - which was strange, because she hadn't had Rhea down as the sort of person who might do something like that. In fact, she hadn't had Rhea down as the sort of person who might join a game of Spin the Bottle at all - but then, Gabriella herself was there too, and she wasn't at all that kind of person either. The whole idea of romance made her queasy, in all honesty - and embarrassed, she thought to herself, remembering her run-in with Tory and that incredibly rude third-year nearer the beginning of the month.
Some people, however, seemed to be really really enjoying it. A few passionate kisses were made. A couple more hugs, so Gabby assumed hugging was in the rules after all.
Next time, decided the Ravenclaw, maybe I'll just give my partner a hug. Seems easiest...
Her previous partner, the Hufflepuff prefect, did seem really rather hurt when she ran away. As she picked herself up off the floor - feeling incredibly dizzy as she did so - she tried to rectify it, but it was clear it wasn't going to work. "Don't worry," she said, feebly. "It's got nothing to do with you - it's all me, I promise--" but the game had already moved on, and the Hufflepuff prefect was getting a lot more sympathy than Gabriella thought he deserved, especially seeing as she had given an explanation and why would he want to kiss a random second-year anyway?
When the bottle came back round to Gabriella, she was determined not to make a fool of herself this time - even if it was with just a hug and not a kiss. This time, the bottle landed on another boy, a boy from another school, Gabby supposed. She got up and calmly made her way to the centre of the circle, her face burning red. She felt like she was going to faint... no, Gabby, she told herself, it's just a hug... pretend you're hugging a friend or something... But to her surprise, the boy didn't try to kiss or even hug Gabriella. Instead he gabbled some nonsense she didn't quite understand the meaning of - something about not kissing girls who aren't into kissing him - and, to Gabby's great alarm, leaned over and gave a full-on kiss to the Hufflepuff boy she'd just rejected. Was this how much it meant to her? Gabriella thought. Was he so devastated that he needed a kiss from another random boy?
Not wanting to be involved in this fiasco any longer, Gabby stumbled to the edge of the circle, vowing to kiss whomever the bottle landed on next.Action: Awkwardly walking into the circle then out again

@Lydia Cooper @Evelynn Decipio as Greta Fransson @Ethen Emrys
Theo got to spin the bottle again. This time it pointed at a redhaired girl- if he recalled correctly, the last kid she spun had run away. Well, she'd definitely had more luck this time! The Thunderbird knew his manners and while running away seemed to be an option for the game, he didn't count it one. By joining it, he agreed to play and why ruin the game for someone else?
So he smiled at the girl- another Hogwarts student, he assumed- who introduced herself as Lydia. "Hi Lydia, I am Theo, nice to meet you." He leaned towards her as well and turned his head to the side to allow her to kiss his cheek. Wait, wasn't it his turn to kiss? His spin, his kiss? Well, he was fine either way.
Those thoughts were erased anyway when he turned his head only to lock eyes with Greta for a split second. She was sitting next to another boy who was talking to her- Theo remembered that Greta couldn't understand much english. Did she know what the boy was saying?
And then he kissed her.
This was the moment to turn away. This. Now. Too late. As if he was mesmerized, Theo stared at Greta and this stranger boy, for a few seconds, way too long seconds forgetting where he was. He didn't notice when Lydia stopped kissing him or that he had held his breath until his lungs hurt. Right. The pain in his chest... That was his lungs. Only his lungs.
He finally forced himself to look away from the pair and lightly rubbed over his chest. It shouldn't hurt so much.
If Lydia had not gotten fed up and left yet, he would send her a quick smile, a mere shadow of his cheerful grin before. He knew what he had signed up for, or so he had thought. A game where kissing was involved, he had been prepared to kiss and be kissed. But how could he have guessed that seeing others kiss would be the problem?
It shouldn't hurt so much.

Interacting with @Alec Mason, @Atlas Reid and mentioning @Haley Rose
This game moved at a much faster rate than back at his muggle school in London - not that it was a bad thing. So he offered up a kiss to Rhea Miller, saw his girlfriend get rejected and then kiss a girl. He watched, not in that weird sense of some guys liked that sort of thing, but just curious to see Haley's reaction and he was a little surprised that she seemed more than okay with it, maybe even to appreciate it.
Alec Mason, a third year he knew by name and face only but not personally came to him. Simon had been the type who had liked girls since as back far as he could remember. He was the type that had his first girlfriend at the age of nine. He had held hands and hand his first kiss since before coming to Hogwarts.
The Gryffindor approached the Hufflepuff, first leaning in for a hug and he did so. Then a fist pump? I mean, with so many different options for people these days to find the love that fit them best, he didn't think it was wrong to go ahead and continue the game of Spin the Bottle no matter which partner he was paired with. The older boy then leaned in, placing his thumb on his lips, and then kissed that. As the boy winked to keep things chill, Simon laughed but he returned to his seat to keep Alec's secret of not really kissing.
But now there was Atlas Reid, the Hufflepuff girl who had just kissed his girlfriend! Talk about a threesome... She approached him, saying she had just kissed her but hoped that he wouldn't hold it against her. He laughed and nodded.
"It would be my pleasure," he told her, stating that it was more than just granting her the courtesy. "Haley and I have always liked a good competition. You'll have to tell us who's best," he said, but then grew quiet because no need to talk away and ruin his chance.
He leaned forward toward the blonde and despite her being a year older, he was taller. That was the help from his dhampir genes which seemed to accelerate his height, his quickness, his strength. But now was a time to be gentle and he leaned down, bringing his lips to the other Hufflepuff's. It would be slightly cold since he was a dhampir and that was always a bit unexpected to someone who was caught off guard, but there would be warmth behind the kiss as well.

Moderation Post - Round 3
Jack Warren was the recipient of much bromance, which was pretty cool. When it was his turn to spin the bottle, he ended up landing on Haley Rose. Would they kiss or would this be another rejection?
Simon Kincaid was ready for another round. Quickly spinning the bottle, he found that he was paired with another fellow Hufflepuff, Lydia Cooper. What would they do now?
Felix Kolbeck had stepped up to be a saviour for Jack last time. This time, he spun the bottle to find his next target. The bottle had deemed that the target was going to Alec Mason.
Ethen Emrys had shared a kiss with Greta Fransson, which was a nice way to greet someone, right? Well... luckily for them, the bottles had decided that they would get paired again and thus, had a second chance to kiss! This was fate, surely!
Gabriella Haworth spun the bottle again, making a vow to kiss the next person... The bottle chose Sarah Lightwood, would they go through with this?
Atlas Reid was totally happy kissing everyone! For shame, was she a homewrecker? Perhaps. Who knew! They both did choose to play the game so it was probably fine, right? Well either way, it was time for another spin! This time, she got one of the visitors from another school, one Theo Duncain.

His match had introduced herself as Greta, and Ethen quickly began to wonder if she even knew what he was saying as he babbled at her. Not that it would stop his babbling for there was much to be babbled about. Her accent, even with those few words was thick enough to confirm that she was not a student of Hogwarts but had to be one of the visitors. But he didn’t have much time to dwell on some extensive analysis of the young girl. His actions were already in motion and he had committed to following the commands of the bottle.
She had seemed quite nervous with his initial approach and Ethen wasn’t sure if that was a sign that she didn’t understand him or that she didn’t want to kiss him. Regardless, he pressed forward and pressed his lips against the girl’s. There wasn’t an immediate slap...a good sign he supposed. After a moment, Ethen felt the girl press into the kiss some and tilted her head for a better angle. Her lips were soft but still felt unfamiliar as he held the kiss for several moments.
Not wanting to terrify the girl further or overstay his welcome, Ethen slowly pulled away from the kiss and re-opened his eyes. He smiled at the girl and believed he could see a slight flushing of her cheeks that made him chuckle quietly. “Thank you for not hitting me,” he said with a warm smile before allowing the girl to reclaim her personal space as he moved to retake his seat.
Watching the rest of his peers, it seemed that those who remained seemed more willing to follow the path set for them by the bottle. He didn’t quite know how to feel as Atlas moved in to kiss a vaguely familiar girl but teasingly shook his head at her. When she then spun the bottle and landed on a separate young boy, Ethen chuckled softly. “You homewrecker Atlas, for shame. At this rate you’ll have half the school done by morning,” Ethen teased as he again had to watch the girl kiss another. It was an awkward thing to see and he found himself sneering at the sight but he couldn’t exactly hold it against the girl. They were there to do the bottles bidding and it was just a game after all.
When it was Ethen’s turn again, he gave the bottle a hearty spin and watched it intently as his fate was placed back into the hands of the bottle. But as it would have it, the bottle again slowed and stopped on the familiar face of Greta. At least Ethen was far less nervous about kissing the somewhat familiar girl now that he was...mostly sure that she wouldn’t hit him. It seemed that the bottle was on a mission to send him after the visiting girl. With a shrug, Ethen decided he was not one to question the mighty decisions of the bottle.
Again moving to approach the girl he gave a smile. “Well, I guess you won’t be rid of me that easily,” Ethen teased with a grin, still not sure how much the girl could actually understand from him. More confidently this time, Ethen began to close the distance with the girl. There was still a lingering thought in his mind that the girl might surprise him with a slap for being presumptuous. But he held faith that the girl wouldn’t attack him. Placing a hand on the girl’s right cheek, again Ethen moved in to kiss the girl tilting his head slightly.

His playful kiss with Jack was, of course, his first kiss. It wasn't even his first kiss with another boy. Not that it would matter, bros kissed other bros all the time, as Jack kept telling himself. When the pair parted, the Swede would offer the boy a playful wink. "Not bad at all. I'd give it an eight, he definitely flosses too, you missed out." The comment was aimed towards Gabrielle, of course. Why? Well... Why not? If Ret was absent tonight, the least he could do is keep himself entertained. He would be heading home soon enough anyway, why not end the summer with a bit of fun? Until Jack decided to ruin the cool image Felix had given him by speaking like he had just arrived from the stone age. The Swede cleared his throat and continued. "So he talks like a caveman, who cares?"
It would seem that poor Jack would receive no kiss. The guy couldn't catch a break unless it was Felix's doing. Oh well, he was certain some girl would give the man a kiss eventually. It was his turn again, and he quickly spun the bottle. He felt like he was getting the hang of things, especially now that he had that awkward first kiss of the night out of the way. It didn't really matter, since there was only one person he'd like to be kissing. Wait, what? Shit. No, he shook the thought from his mind. He was not falling for the southern belle. It was just... A reaction. That's right, something in the food. Dammit, he had to focus, to push the thought to the back of his mind.
That's when the bottle landed on a boy he'd seen kiss a few people already. He wasn't aware that they had been fake kisses because he hadn't been paying attention. He shrugged his shoulders and moved towards the boy. "I'm Felix. Come here." Yes, he was quite the romantic, how would the Gryffindor be able to resist his charms? "I mean--Dammit. I'm kissing you, okay?" His usually pale features were flushed when he reached down to cup the boy's face with his hands. He leaned in to try and fit their lips together.

Alec was already feeling off after pretending to kiss a boy. He felt uncomfortable with the premise in which this game was set. It felt like a game as long as it was with the ladies. Alec fingers picked at the grass, his eyes focusing on it rather than the game in the dark, he knew he looked like a shy dork that way but maybe it was best. He was trying to keep himself from debating the difference between boys and girls in his head. He didn't want to think about that now.He couldn't figure out the difference between them and why correlated to him cat so much. This was stupid. Alec plucked a larger piece of grass from the ground before bringing his hands to his chest. He fingers felt ice-cold was he the only one this cold? Alec pulled his hands into the green sleeves of his hoodie, practically hugging himself in the dark. He wondered if he looked odd to just suddenly go quiet. The boy was frowning slightly. His eyes looked out on the nature around him.
The night was where Alec lived. It was the only time he'd ever been able to feel free. There was an aching of something inside to be able to wander once again. He was far more watched here than at home however, there was no getting away with that. There'd be more people as the school year started. He could find time than. It was harder to watch around with an increased amount of kids. Summer camp was fun but school would be better. He couldn't see why it wouldn't be. He'd have Leo, Marshal, and Wyatt... He had others as well now something that made his excitement about the school year hard to contain without uttering a word.
Alec's eyes fell back on the game just as a white-haired boy had spun the bottle. Hadn't that boy kissed uh... Alec wasn't sure what to call the guy. Minty fresh? Alec's inward chuckle was visible with a heave of his chest even as his mouth didn't move. He visibly cheered up however, his eyes the main giveaway. He was too feel even less alone as he remembered he had his wolf pin with him on the right side of his pants as always. Alec tried not to ponder too much on the fact he was wearing the same outfit as he had on his thirteenth birthday. Wyatt... Maybe he thought about his friend too much.
Alec was focused on this thought as someone walked up to him. Gesturing for the boy who was paying little to no attention to get up. At least Alec assumed so. Was-was the game over? Alec's eyes looked around the circle. He didn't see anybody else getting up. What? Alec was extremely confused. His eyes set back on the white-haired other. Wasn't he the one who'd spun the bottle? Why wasn't he going to who he was supposed to kiss? Was he avoiding everybody the bottle landed on. Then-then this boy said he was going to kiss Alec.
Hey boy! Go kiss whoever the bottle landed on, please ignore the curly-haired mess of a boy. Do what you are supposed to do.
Despite the rather loud alarms in that of a sinking highly technological boat in Alec's head. Alec's outward expression looked rather calm. Except for his eyebrows, but really who knew what was happening with those. Alec was actually frozen. Compared to his earlier on freeze up, this was worth, a way whole sinking ship loud siren alarms worse. I got deafeningly louder as the other leaned in. Alec move away, now. Alec was frozen, he couldn't, he didn't... It was clear he sending the wrong signals as his face was cupped and he was kissed.

Alec was only stuck frozen for a few seconds more before he finally pulled away. Alec looked horrified. His cheeks heated up slightly, only from embarrassment. That shouldn't have felt so personal, this-He was upset, and it was oh so clear on his face. At first when he'd pulled away Alec's mouth had been agape. Staring at Felix till Alec had regained his senses and frowned, brows furrowing. Maybe that was the worst part. He couldn't imagine how this looked to the strangers around him. “I-I hate you.” Alec's voice may have been soft but it was sheathed in some odd anger. Alec took in a breath of air; before shoving Felix to the ground so hard it must've knocked the wind out of his own chest.
With this Alec made way to leave this place and this horrendous game. The child had just run into one problem. Alec hadn't been watching where he was going and as he attempted to exit the scene he tripped not so smoothly over Felix. Scuffling up his knee and he tried to catch himself. Huffing at this, because out of everything he had to mess up his knee now. His naturally ripped at the knees pants were only going to be even more ripped, no doubt that knew was going too bleed later as well. Alec picked himself back up. Brushing off his pants before finally trying to make a more graceful exit out of the scene.

The brunet boy stayed put as Felix grew closer to his face. There was no outward expression telling him to back off. So, without hesitation, he closed the distance between them and pressed his lips against the boy’s own. It would have been nice to get his name first, but whatever. Kissing him was sort of like kissing a statue, however, considering the boy was frozen in place the entire time. At least Jack had kissed him back. Where had his confidence from earlier gone? Why did the kiss seem so weird? It wasn’t just his lingering thoughts of another person, either. The kiss was cut short when the Swede pulled back, his brows knitting together as he stared at the other boy silently.
That was when the Hogwarts student suddenly expressed his hatred for Felix. The blonde’s brows shot up in surprise, "Vad? Av vilken anledning? What? For what reason?" He would say in his native tongue, his shock causing him to forget to speak English at first. What had he done to deserve such venom-laced words? Not that he particularly cared, but he was confused. Wasn’t this the game? Hadn’t he seen him kiss others? He hadn’t pushed him away at first either, so why? Had the two of them interacted before and Felix had forgotten him?"Was it that bad--... Whoa!"
It was then that his view of the world around him shifted, and he was suddenly stumbling backwards. Luckily, he narrowly avoided landing on poor Jack Warren. Instead, his body thumped to the ground next to him. The boy had pushed him with such force he had knocked the wind out of his chest and left Felix gasping and greedily gulping down lungfuls of oxygen. This wasn’t the first time his snark and/or actions had gotten him in trouble, and it was likely not the last. He felt pressure on his legs when the other body suddenly tripped over his body, his blue eyes blinking upwards to watch him try to stumble away.
"What... What the hell...?" He managed to gasp out, the palms of his hands finding their way along with the cold dirt beneath him so he could push himself back up onto his feet. At first, his body felt weak, wobbly even, especially in the area he had been pushed, but he managed to find his footing. Instead of feeling irritated at his own stupid feelings, he was now annoyed at... Whatever the hell the brunet's feelings were. He hated him? Felix was the recipient of a lot of dislike, but this time he hadn't exactly meant to cause the boy distress. He wasn't that bad of a kisser, was he? Dammit, now he had to find the damn kid.
His eyes scanned the nearby area for his target, Push-Happy Boy, or whatever his name was. "Hey! Hold up." He called out after him, stepping away from the circle of children, the scene they had just made, and the game that had caused it. "What the hell was that? Is kissing not the game?"

Spin the Bottle Group 4
Gabriella waited in suspense as more people spun the bottle around, each time praying that it didn't land on her. Fortunately, her prayers were answered - she would have hated for the bottle to suddenly land on her without giving her any opportunity to collect herself and put herself in the right mindset for what was about to happen. Because she would kiss this time, she was sure of it. She would definitely kiss whoever fate landed her with.
The bottle was given to Gabriella for the third time in a row. She spun it weakly, her hands shaking. Mesmerised, she watched as it spun round and round, hypnotising her, making her dizzy. But she had made a commitment, and she was determined to follow through. After a while, she realised the bottle had stopped, although when that had happened she wasn't sure - she could only hope that it hadn't been sitting there for five minutes, and that everyone wasn't staring at her right now and making her feel even more humiliated than she was now.
She looked up and saw that the bottle had landed on an older Slytherin girl, whom she recognised but wasn't quite sure where from. She didn't know the girl's name. For a moment Gabriella froze - it hadn't occurred to her that the bottle might land on a girl. She hadn't considered her sexuality much, but she assumed that she was straight, and while she didn't particularly want to kiss anyone she didn't love, the idea of kissing a boy was much more appealing than the idea of kissing a girl.
However, there was no time to dwell on that. She had a promise to keep, a promise to herself, and to the honest Gabriella, a promise to herself held as much weight as a promise given to anyone else. So, she stood up and rushed over to the girl, determined to kiss her before she changed her mind. She couldn't particularly remember much of the girl's story with regards to this game of Spin the Bottle - evidently she had had a pretty calm time of it all. Ha. I wish.
Gabriella leaned forward flung her arms around the girl's neck, pressing her tight and kissing her passionately, right on the mouth. It was horrible, but she had done it. She broke away, shocked by what she had just done.
Of course she shouldn't have done that.
Why would anybody want that?
All the other kisses had been pecks on the cheek, not full-on snogs.
Gabriella bit her lip and looked apologetically into the girl's face. She couldn't decipher her expression. "If it makes it any better," said Gabriella, "I really hated that. I didn't find it... fun... or - anything..."
Then she turned, and, tears streaming down her face, fled from the circle, hoping that she would never meet any of them again - even Rhea, who she considered a friend, in a way.
It was just too much. Far too much. As she ran she realised that everything she had done while in that circle had been a mistake, and the tears began to flow even more. She had had enough. How was she to know that signing up for a fun bottle-spinning game would result in this? And even worse, she had now ruined her first kiss. She rushed into her cabin and sat down on her bed, hoping that she could just sleep into total oblivion, wishing that nobody would ever speak to her again.Action: Kissing Sarah Lightwood on the lips then running out of the thread

As Atlas’ spin landed on Simon and she had to quickly process her fate, the young girl wasted no time as she stood and walked over to the boy hearing Ethen call out that she would have half the school done by the morning. Throwing him a playful glare as she stuck her tongue out, Atlas turned her attention back to Simon. There was a small uneasiness filling her stomach as she wondered if any true barbs had been in Ethen’s statement or if he truly didn’t care about the people she was kissing, her hope being on the latter.
Continuing to remind herself that they both sat down for the game and understood what would happen, she still wondered if he had seen the way she reacted to Haley’s kiss. Most people in the circle were kissing their temporary partners quickly and sitting down like nothing had happened but Atlas knew her cheeks were vibrant from the kiss she could still feel tingling her lips. Matters were not helped as Simon stood to meet her and Haley’s familiar voice pulled her focus so easily.
"I'll wait for you here then, after you realise I'm the better kisser."
Pursing her lips together, tongue in cheek, Atlas felt her breath fill her chest as she shook her head finding her eyes falling to Haley. “Don’t tease me with a good time.” Atlas played back far more confident than she felt as she let out a soft laughter allowing her seized breath to escape freely. She shouldn’t be feeling this way as she had a boyfriend and so did Haley, clearly, and yet the girl made her realize that while she was loyal to Ethen she was clearly not straight. She had never given it much thought as she and Ethen had been friends since before Hogwarts so when their emotions and feelings started to heighten and reveal themselves they found it even easier to be in each other’s company and officially date. Prior to second year she had never even had romantic feelings for anyone but now she could feel the similarities between how she felt about Ethen's kisses and how she felt about Haley's.
“I know I just kissed your girl, but I hope you won’t hold that against me. Perhaps you would offer me that same courtesy?” Atlas had said to Simon pulling her attention once more back to him as she hoped he wasn’t picking up on the myriad of emotions and thoughts she was having about his girlfriend.
Simon’s comments at least seemed like he didn’t notice or think anything of her and Haley’s kiss as he was able to make her smile with his comment about making sure to tell him who is best. “Deal.” Atlas had spit out before Simon leaned down and kissed her back. There was an initial shock of cold when their lips touched that tensed Atlas’ body but quickly dispersed as she closed her eyes enjoying the kiss for a moment before slowly pulling away.
At this point, her heart was pounding in her chest as she hoped despite standing so close to Simon he wasn’t able to hear it. Taking a step back, Atlas smiled at Simon as felt the strain of her cheeks knowing full well she should just give up trying to play cool. “You were exceptional,” She finally spoke to Simon, scrunching her nose as she tucked her hair behind her ear. “But I’m afraid Haley has you beat.” She continued once more darting her eyes to Haley before bringing them back up to Simon.
“Maybe you will have another chance to make me change my mind,” Atlas toyed as she bowed her head before turning on her heels back to her spot in the circle. Though if she was going to be honest with herself she hoped she would have the opportunity to get Haley once more before the night was through although those seemed like dangerous hopes.
Taking her turn once more, Atlas inhaled through her nose and exhaled through her mouth as she gripped the bottle in her hands and spun it forcibly watching as it worked its way past Ethen, Haley and Simon before landing on one of the visiting students she had yet to get acquainted to. His American accent she had heard a bit from previous rounds told her that he was from Ilvermorny and that his name was Theo as he had introduced himself to his last partner but presumably that would be the most information she would get out of him before the round was up as no one was too keen on getting to know the others in the circle.
Depending on the boy’s reaction to her offer she would also be able to decipher his confidence and openness level, which would reveal more information about him without having to say a word, although she had loved the playful banter she had experienced with her past partners.
Once again making the first move, Atlas got to her feet as she made her way over to Theo before kneeling down in front of him. “Hiya! Theo isnae it? Me name is Atlas.” Her Scottish accent only becoming more apparent as she got more nervous. “I have quite the reputation in this circle now, but perhaps that doesna scare ye away.” She teased as she locked onto his comforting brown eyes. Leaning forward halfway to Theo, Atlas inhaled, “Would you like me to kiss ye?” She offered once again feeling her nerves building inside of her.
