Opeila gulped when the boy flexed his arm while slicking back his hair. Was he a moviestar of some sorts? That was totally a moviestar move, yes, it was. And then he talked to her, he actually talked to her!

Like the naive and inpressionable little girl she was, she stood there for a moment, staring. Her heart pounded and she felt her cheeks heating up. Surely he'd be able to see her turning red, she realized embarassed, only to notice right afterwards, that she should probably react to what he said. And maybe, maybe start breathing again too.

"U-uh..." How did a person form words again? How did you put syllables together to make sense? The boy certainly didn't forget, he saved her from her embarassment, asking something- and then Winnie saved her, falling out of the sky and on top of him. For the second time now Opeila was completely covered with water, but it helped her to regain her ability to speak english.

Winnie and the boy came back up, asked them both if they were alright- ohmagawd- and then made an unmistakably flirtatious joke towards Winnie. Opeila felt something sting in her chest that she couldn't quite give a title- not jealousy, but maybe annoyance that Winnie ruined her chance to talk to this good looking guy one on one, involuntarily or not. "I'm fine, are you? Did she hit your head? Winnie, are you alright?", she asked both of them anyway, pushing those childish feelings into a corner.
... Winnie had a crush on Jack Burnett anyway, as Opeila knew very well, she was no concurrence- wait, what was she thinking?

Another girl was coming down to them, a familiar from house Gryffindor, Scarlett. Great. More company, that was... amazing. This time Opeila was prepared, taking some steps back and covering eyes and nose before the girl jumped.

"Heck yeah!!!"

With an enthusiastic shout, a young boy ran into the water, tripped and fell in completely. Chuckling, he came back up, brushed the wet hair out of his face and got back to his feet.

That was Theodore, a third year Thunderbird, who still couldn't believe that he was already in England again. Summer Camp was truly a highlight of the year so far with all the different activities they could take part in.

Theo hadn't bothered to wait for his friends- if they wanted to come, they would, and if they did he would not miss a chance to push Everett under- but directly ran to the lake when the students got permission. Happily he spun around and looked at a boy, who seemed not as enthusiastic- or welcoming the coolness?- as Theo did, he was only walking in slowly.

"Oy, you good?" The Ilvermorny boy raised a hand in greeting. "You can come in, water is great!" There were already quite a few students swimming and jumping into the water, the whole lake was just a display of happiness. "I'm Theo by the way, from Ilvermorny. It's my second summer camp, amazing everytime! I don't know how they do it."

August 3rd, 2021

On this the third day of camp, Irina was excited to hear about a lake party going on. It was a nice warm day that would become great with a bit of cooling off in the lake. This camp wasn’t too bad so far, actually Irina was surprisingly enjoying it. She assumed that it would be a month full of things going wrong at every corner and would hate the school by the end of it but, that hadn’t happened yet. There still was most of the month left so there was still a lot of time for the school to mess up.

Hogwarts did seem to be doing something right especially with this lake party on the on this summer day. She was going with Nate since they shared a cabin and were pretty much best friends. It made the trip a lot better to be with him and they were spending a lot of time together hanging out. Arriving at the lake, Irina was impressed. There were picnic blankets set up, music play and even snacks and drinks laid out. She was pretty weary of the drinks and had been for all of her time at Hogwarts but, if she wanted to stay alive then she had to drink something.

Placing her on the same picnic blanket as Nate, she noticed that he was already getting ready to hop in the water. She took off her dress that she was wearing as a cover to up to reveal a pink one piece swimsuit. Turning around at Nate’s voice, Irina couldn’t help but notice how buff he was. She knew that he worked out a lot but, he looked pretty athletic in just his swimsuit. Irina was similar in sense since she always wanted to be the best at broom racing and had some defined biceps yet, the abs weren’t shown in this suit and that was perfectly fine. “Of course, that’s what we came for.”

Coming up to the edge of the water, Irina copied Nate and put her feet in. It wasn’t that cold to her but then again only her feet were in so far. When Nate mischievously grinned at her she had no time to react before he lifter her up and threw her into the water. All she could stutter out was a muffled scream of “NATE!” The water was cold now and Irina couldn’t lie, she was laughing so hard on the inside. Somehow Nate had just thrown her into the lake with no effort. He was strong but now it was time for some payback.

When Nate resurfaced, she couldn’t help but laugh. He was pleading for her to forgive him and that puppy dog face had done it. She didn’t have any hostile feelings for her friend but wanted him to know that she coming for him. “Well I can’t be upset at that face, so I guess I forgive you. I think that was for the best and now I get to return the favor somehow.” She said laughing. Taking a glance around she saw more people arriving and getting in the water. Irina didn’t mind them though, because right now she was just plotting her revenge for Nate.

───She was never going to live this moment down, was she? Well, at least it wasn’t that bad. At least Jack Burnett hadn’t seen her less than graceful dive into the lake water. Or, perhaps even worse, Mathias Pride.

Winnie might have been a Ravenclaw, but she was definitely not a bird. A fact she was rather abruptly reminded of after her body hit… Something. Her landing was, unfortunately, not soft. Like a giant wall of flesh, she would elbow the poor Durmstrang boy from earlier. Her face also ricocheted off the boy’s back, and then she was submerged into the murky lake water. Why did this keep happening? Was she cursed to have bad luck whenever she was around the lake? She would claw through the water blindly, her long hair clouding her vision.

When she reached the water’s surface she was coughing and gasping for air. She reached a hand up to push her ponytail back, her sunglasses skewed as she blinked the water out of her eyes. She stared over at the person she had just crashed into. She would have been horrified regardless of who it was, but she did feel extra bad for crashing into a visitor of their school. What kind of image was she giving Hogwarts?

“Oh, Merlin!” She gasped in horror, “I’m so sorry, are you—are you okay? I tripped and…” Then came his comment about an angel. Wait, what? She glanced around; her brows knit together in confusion. “What angel?” It wasn’t Arjan’s fault; she was clueless. She glanced up and saw a red-haired girl diving in after her. Had she shouted earlier to check on her? “I think she is okay.” She nodded, assuming he meant her. She was rather lovely, after all. “Are you okay?” She asked the redhead, a bit louder.

She suddenly heard a familiar voice and whipped her head back around. “Oh! Miss Pei!” Winnie greeted the girl with an odd mix of formality and familiarity, “Yes, I’m fine. Maybe a bit bruised…” Her ego was also bruised. She couldn’t believe she had done that. “A-And embarrassed… I’m sorry.”

She turned to blink over at Arjan again. She realized she had not even introduced herself, even if you were to fall on top of someone, it was the polite thing to do. Gigi would be disappointed. “I’m sorry again, I’m not very good at diving.” She told him as if that weren’t completely obvious. “I’m Winnie Harper, by the way. You must be from another school?” She tilted her head in her curiosity.

I suppose an innocent lake party is yet another evil plot to kill us all. Who was Hogwarts trying to fool? Certainly not Nikita Lebedev. She she right through all their filthy lies. "join us for a ball where we poison your drinks" If thos wasn't some secret plan to kill everybody, she didn't know what it was. She would sooner marry Charles alluring then trust this school. And we all know that would never happen, not even if he was the last boy on thos stupid planet. She would rather move to Mars.

But she figured if she was to find out what the school was up to she would have to go to this so called lake party. Yeah right. Its probably code for let's all drown together and call it a party or something... She grumbled. Or what... did they poison the lake, too? Unlikely, but she wouldn't hold it above them. Since there was no need to impress everybody, or anyone, she wore a simple black bathing suit her grandmother got her. It wasn't all that ugly, but it didn't exactly scream for attention, either.
It was perfect if nikita was going to figure out some secrets. Spies dont exactly walk around wearing bright flowers all over their coats, do they?

She walked over to the lake where she saw kids laughing and splashing. If I knew any better AI would of thought it was an actual lake party. She walked over to the diving board, climbing up the latter. She half expected someone from Hogwatts to jump out of no where and kidnap her or something. She looked around for any suspicious movements as she got to the top. A commotion caught her attention immediately. Ha, caught in the act! She looked over the diving board. No one dead.

Still worth checking out. "Coming down!" She yelled. She dove off the board, not flailing like one of the two before her, and landed with a pleasing splash in the water. "Hope I didn't ruin your hair, Arjan." She teased as she pushed her wet hair from her face. She turned to the smaller of the redheads.
"You alright?" She asked. She couldn't help bit wonder if this girl had been jinxed or something... but no wands were in sight. She turned to the other girl who had been blushing like a stupid girl with Arjan. "And you. You are unharmed as well, corrrect?" She asked without really waiting for an answer. She turned to the tallest of the redheads. A girl with curly hair...

"You are one of Lear's?" Dhe asked, frowning slightly. Perhaps if she questioned some of them... she could get in on their evil plot...

Did someone say swimming? Haley was an all-out water rat and far too often she would have just wanted to jump into the lake at Hogwarts, and finally the day had come when she could pursue that desire. Haley had thrown her bag over her shoulder and was on her way to the lake in quick steps. From a distance she could already see some students, but her attention was focused on the surface of the water. It was a warm day and she couldn't wait to cool off in the water. Arriving at the shore, she pulled her dress over her head while walking, she had already put on her bikini underneath, and dropped her bag and dress on a free spot. She started to run and made a shallow plunge into the water and dived a few meters.

When she resurfaced, she stroked her wet hair back and had a big smile on her lips. She looked once over the shore and only now she noticed that music was playing. She caught sight of some familiar and unfamiliar faces. She saw Vivian, a friend of Simon's who had been at the "wedding". She had to smile and waved to her from afar. Then she saw Felix, the boy with the white blond hair from her cabin, this time her gaze immediately moved on, she would not stare at him a second time and already her gaze lingered on someone else, Simon.

She hadn't expected him at all, she knew the sun was a problem for him but all the happier she was to see him. With a big smile she slowly walked through the water closer to the shore, she put her hand around her mouth and called out to him, "Oi, Simon!" she waved her arm outstretched to draw attention to herself. "Fancy seeing you here." she continued after getting his attention. She was now striding back out of the lake, her red hair clinging wetly to her back, it was even longer than usual by the water. The cool drops ran down her skin, but after only a few steps she noticed again how the sun's rays warmed her skin.

"Pretty dry for a lake party." She teased him with a smirk. "We should change that." She laughed as she now stood in front of him and spread her arms to take him in a hug. She squeezed once tightly to transfer the cold water on her skin to his. "Feel like joining me in the water? Now that you're wet anyway."

As much as Nate was initially prejudiced about this camp, the more surprised he was after these few days. Nothing dramatic had happened so far and it seemed like they could do something here at Hogwarts, maybe he would change his mind about this school and its professors after all. But he would not jump to conclusions, it was only the third day, still enough time for something to go wrong. But the lake party was a complete success in his eyes, who didn't like to go swimming on a warm summer day?

Nate couldn't suppress his laughter as Irina yelled his name admonishingly before landing in the water. He just couldn't help it, he just had to tease his best friend a little every now and then. And he knew her well enough that she wouldn't be seriously mad with him. She wasn't one of those girls who was too fine for anything or freaked out in the lake as soon as some water splashed somewhere. She didn't care if her hair got wet and he also knew that he had to keep a better eye on her now. It was not unlikely that she would take revenge on him. He was strong but if she caught him in a careless moment, it would be an easy matter to carry out her revenge.

He grinned cheekily at her words, "Try it." He teased her and splashed some water towards her before diving once himself. Once back on the surface he looked over the lake and the shore, more and more students joined them and his eyes fell on a blonde girl who wasn't really convinced to go into the water yet. But she made the right decision in his eyes when she took a run-up and finally jumped into the water. Even though Nate was more the reserved type with strangers, he felt that this decision should be appreciated. He waited until she looked his way and held up his thumb, "Good job!"

He now lay carefully on his back, his gaze fixed on the blue sky, enjoying the coolness on this sunny day.
