Calypso, when she first heard about this, wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. Then she realized that the summer is long and she had nothing to do. And you can hug instead. Some people just really need a hug, right? So Cal's signing up to spread the love with free hugs. And she considers herself a bit of a low-key superhero for this. Plus, now she has something to do. If nothing else, it'll be entertaining. Though she wonders about the legality of a bunch of young kids being encouraged to kiss each other by adults. Also, hopefully people are paired within their age range, since there are both eleven- and seventeen-year-olds at Hogwarts, the latter of which are legally adults in the eyes of the Ministry. So there could be some consent issues and maybe sexual assault charges if this is not handled properly. Stop overthinking this, Calypso. It'll be fine, right?
Yeah, she's definitely already regretting this.
